I recently returned to Dr. Magness for a broken retainer. I was a patient of Dr. Magness when I had braces nearly 15 years ago and I have nothing but positive memories. So, when my retainer broke, I didnt think twice about which orthodontist to go see.Booking an appointment at this office was incredibly simple and can be done entirely online. In addition, all forms were completed prior to arrival - which made getting in and out of the office a very smooth process. The office is welcoming and all of the staff members are very friendly.The best thing about Dr. Magness is how personable he is. When I first sat down, he asked me to fill him in on what Ive been up to since Id seen him last. It means a lot to me that he cares about his patients on a personal level - even patients he hasnt seen in 15 years!Although Dr. Magness was just seeing me for a quick retainer fix, he made me feel just as important as his other patients. Hes very knowledgeable and took the time to explain what caused my retainer to break, and what I can expect going forward.In the future, if I need to see an orthodontist for any reason big or small, I will without a doubt be returning to Dr. Magnesss office!

This business is awesome. I had braces long ago and I needed a new retainer, and this staff went above and beyond to make sure that I could get the retainer in a timely manner. Not only was the retainer less expensive than other places I called, but they were able to get me into the office very quickly. The staff is so nice, they work efficiently, and the entire process was so straight forward. Great experience, I will definitely go back if I need any work done.

Ive always been updated at the end of each visit without asking, as some kids are more verbal than others!Check them out, if youre in need of orthodontics. They are all honest, friendly and truly skilled professionals. They are in a great location with good parking (it matters!) and several routes to get to the building, avoiding traffic. Ive met moms while waiting, who drive in from an hour away, because we trust and love Dr. Marc!

I have had a wonderful experience here. The lobby is clean and comfortable. I think Karen and Cindy are Fabulous. In the back Lori and Cassie are very talented and sweet. Sophie is so friendly and welcoming. Dr Magness is so professional, patient and kind. He really knows his practice and keeps current with new technology and products. It really made me thrilled to know that he wont be happy until you are happy. He will make sure you are satisfied before you are done with the full service. I wouldnt go to anyone else. Dr. Marc has put braces on both of my daughters and is my orthodontist too. Our teeth look great! He is a perfectionist and takes his time with each patient making sure everyone has a great smile and bite. His updated office is really nice and his staff is very professional and kind. Dr. Magness and his staff are fantastic! My sons orthodontic work was done in the time projected, and the end result was a beautiful smile! Everyone in the office is friendly and knows you by name. We never had a problem getting an appointment, and Dr. Magness even came in once on his day off to take care of a loose wire. It was especially refreshing that Dr. Magness always stays on schedule. He was never even five minutes late -- not once! In fact, if we arrived a little early, my son usually went straight to the back for his appointment. He rarely sat down in the waiting room. I highly recommend Magness Orthodontics to anyone needing orthodontic work.

From 2004-2007, which was most of my high school career, I had braces and my Orthodontist was Dr. Magness. When I finally got my braces off, I was beyond thrilled with how straight and beautiful my teeth were. They were (and still are) exactly what I wanted them to be! After I got them removed, I made a promise to myself to never let my teeth get crooked ever again for the rest of my life. Part of the problem I had with my teeth was a gap in between my top two front teeth, so when I got my braces off Dr. Magness added a small permanent retainer that was attached to those two teeth, which ultimately kept them permanently together. A few weeks ago (11 years after I got my braces off) my permanent top retainer became loose. I knew immediately that I had to fix this right away or else my teeth could get crooked again and I could end up with braces for a second time. I was not about to break my promise to myself, so I thought about who I needed to go see to fix my top retainer. The first person that came to my mind was Dr. Magness. I immediately looked up Dr. Magness’ phone number, saw that they were still located in the same office building that they were in from when I had braces, and I booked an appointment! I knew that there wasn’t going to be anyone else better than Dr. Magness to fix my teeth. Him and his dad are amazing! I will continue to recommend them to friends, family, and even strangers. Not only did Dr. Magness fix my top retainer, but he did it all happily free of charge! It was such a fun nostalgic experience to go back and see Dr. Magness. They updated their office since the last time I was there (11 years ago) and it was very nicely done. Everyone who works there is very friendly and they all made me feel just as welcome as I did when I was a teenager. I am so thankful for Magness Orthodontics and will always appreciate what they have done for me. Thank you!!

Dr. Magness is a boss. The guy has hundreds of clients every year and still manages to be personable and friendly with every one of his clients. His staff is great as well. This is my second time to have orthodontic work done, and I can firmly say that Magness takes his job to a professional level that I have yet to see with any other orthodontist Ive observed. Dr. Magness and the Magness Orthodontics staff are the best in Houston. From consultation through completion of my 2 1/2 year adult orthodontics treatment, I had such a perfect experience and results. I visited another (equally popular) Houston orthodontist when choosing my orthodontist. He advised an aggressive approach of extracting forward teeth to make alignment better. This made me very uncomfortable. Dr. Magness didnt recommend any extractions, and the results are perfect! With every interaction, they are truly caring about the patients wishes, while holding a high professional standard for treatment. My daughter cant wait for her time for braces!

Magnets orthodontics exceeded my expectations in many levels. It is an understatement to say I was not a typical patient. In my mid 50s and living internationally was a challenging way to kick off treatment. They worked with me on timing and continual tweaks to timing. I went through 4 insurance plans during treatment and that too was patiently worked out. Dr. Magness produced a beautiful smile in less than 14 months and while braces are a hassle, Im so happy I went for it and happy I did so with Marc Magness and his fabulous staff. Cindy is a walking talking ambassador for this place. 🙂The precision, the patience, the attitude all receive an A+.

Dr. Magness loves complex cases. Both children are in his program. Each mouth is different but Dr. Magness has an unique treatment plan depending upon the childs needs. Dr. Magness also cares about areas I may have overlooked such as sleep apnea or tongue tightness.My daughter loves picking out her band colors and enjoyed her personal snail mail from the assistant who helped put on her brackets.Its the small touches that matter these days. Our journey with Magness Orthodontics began in 2005. Since then all 6 of our children have needed or will need braces. As a result, weve been steady clients of Magness Orthodontics with 1 to 3 children in braces at any one time during the past 9 years. Weve witnessed office remodeling and some staff transition over the years but have always found the staff to be warm, friendly, and flexible with scheduling. Dr. Marc Magness, like his wonderful dad Dr. Bonham Magness, is a gifted orthodontist with an eye for detail and a persistence/passion for getting each clients smile to be the best it can be. He has been known, however, to get tough as needed with our teens during phases of rubber band non-compliance :). The staff coordinates care well with our dentist concerning bridges and other dental issues. Prices are reasonable with no hidden or additional charges due to unforeseen issues. The atmosphere is professional but family-friendly. Several of our children have developed a bond of friendship with the staff over the years. Recently we enjoyed seeing Dr. Marcs wife, Sophie, and the newest little Magness working in the office and infusing a fun, creative spark into the practice with various contests--and prizes!! The new office itself is kid/teen-friendly and home-like with a large chalkboard, huge soft bean-bag chair, and lots of beautiful smiling photos that are a motivating reminder of the end goal of this process. ( We also love that they have copies of school calendars for every district within a 30 mile radius! :) )In summary, as long termers we highly recommend Magness Orthodontics as they continue to find ways to improve their already terrific practice.

My family was referred to Dr. Magness a little over year ago. What impressed me was how warm the environment is at the office. The staff is friendly and what stood out to me was that his father (also a dentist) was around and his sister came in to be treated. These are all little details, but to my family this promoted the environment of caring which was very important to us.Fast forward one year later, my daughter emerged with a beautiful smile. I had to give Dr Magness a huge hug. Over the last 12 months he and his staff have been supportive and showed us the possibility. Seeing my daughter with a brilliant smile today was priceless.
