I work for Ut so It never crossed my mind how bad going to doctors here was. Over 30 minutes waiting for an nurse ti call you in, then same time for the doctor to come into the room, they ask over and over the same questions you fill out in the paper work and are online. Was left in the room for so long that I wanted to leave and take my copayment back. I will be going to a Memorial Hermann doctor next time

Horrible care. I went in to find a new General doctor and I did not like the side effects for my blood pressure medication another doctor had given me. They only doubled the dosage. They did nothing else for me, period. So I continued trying the new medication and the UT Physicians Family Medicine doctor recommended low salt and lean meat diet. Well, I get anemic just like most women during and around the time of their menstrual cycle. The diet recommended made my anemia worse and the symptoms from the blood pressure meds worsened. After 3 months I quit the medication and tried well known herbal supplements that are good for your heart, blood, lower blood pressure, and even documented by doctors to keep your blood pressure at healthy #’s. Second time I went in I wanted my bloodwork done to check my iron for my anemia and a genetic test for medication matches for other health issues and their medication choices best suited for me genetically. Also for allergy tests since I have a gluten sensitivity I wanted to narrow it down to which I was sensitive too. They wouldn’t even listen to me for bloodwork and demanded I stop taking the natural herb supplements, none of them are regulated anywhere in the world that is how safe they are, that are for my health AND improving my health. My blood pressure was elevated due to stress and eating too much iron rich red meats when I tried to raise my iron, I read it was good for anemia and my other health issues but I admit I forgot that red meat raises pressure (oops). I told them this, one reason to check my iron because every doctor I have been too most of my life have told me my iron was too low. I decided, and explained to them as well, to focus on healthier iron rich foods like popcorn and asparagus etc. They didnt even give me something right their in the office for my obvious elevated pressure. No, they demanded I stop doing my healthy choices and refused my blood work. They didnt even give me a prescription for a different blood pressure medication to try. Just gave me a sheet of paper to go home and document my blood pressure for the next 2 weeks. I have an app for that, no thanks. Not impressed and go back to school kids, you are to treat a health symptom at the least and stop trying to fill in the blank because you are not in school anymore and you cannot control a human so that THEY match to the letter what you think they need to do to MEET YOUR demands to match your paperwork. You couldnt even treat me in your little hospital, what makes you think you can demand so much from me and not even offer medical treatment to take home. Hello human we are human too.-as for the attempt response comment below, I know bs when I see it and I do not need to respond to you to give anythingFurthermore, I should really be reporting my office visits at this place to my insurance company. Not only did you NOT treat me but you charged my insurance company and wasted my time and copay. I am pretty sure that is fraud.Shame on you-also that I was unable to get an appointment with a specialist doctor because this Family Medicine UT Physician’s clinic refused to give me a reference and ignored my calls in regards to request it. I am still dealing with my health issues in 2021 that this place refused to treat, acknowledge, nor help me seek other doctors help with.

Dr. Zulfiker and her nurse both do not know how to speak with the patients and they do not follow the annual check up process and try to set multiple appointments for the same reason!Be careful from this doctor and hwr nurse
