Ive been coming here for years and reception specifically has gone downhill so quickly. Just spoke with Anne and my information had vanished from the system and she was super dry and absolutely not listening to me. The nurses/doctors are great though but the receptionist really ruins it for me

The doctors here do not care about their patients. Mendez has canceled twice on a family member and will reschedule 6 weeks later. You cannot get medications without seeing him. It’s terrible. Do not go here. Find a more reliable doctor.

The doctors are amazing but it seems like they are way too busy. Whenever I call the nurses for something they answer back after days of calling. They should hire more support staff.

I had my OBGYN services and now my daughters Pediatric appointments are here at this office and I am so happy with the care I receive from all different departments! They remember my daughter and I whenever we come in for visits and the overall care from the staff and doctors has always been great! There is even Saturday availability which was so crucial when my daughter had a double ear infection. I would have had to otherwise sit in an urgent care or ER all day and at 5 times the cost! Thank you UT Heights!!

Office is awesome. Both of my kids come here and they have taken such great care of them. Dr Parks is both of their pediatrician and she is awesome. Sometimes the wait is a little long but other than that they are amazing. Dr Parks eased my fears about my sons medical condition and the Nurse practitioners are thorough and call to follow up on the boys. I have recommended a few friends to switch over to them and they did and loved it.

My obgyn was Dr. Nguyen Ha. If you’re looking for a female ongym she is not it. I was very disappointed on her services she’s not very compassionate. Her head nurse Felica didn’t always seem to be in the friendliest either. I wouldn’t recommend if this is your first pregnancy.

If you never want to have an appointment available when youre actually sick then this is the place for you.

The worst service I have ever experienced, UT Physicians should be ashamed to have this office as part of their group.I was forced to go to this location as no other locations were available, you can not reach anyone in that office and they do not return calls.It is hideous to think that this location provides physical and mental health services.University of Texas, if any of the board of regents read this, please close this location and remove the staff associated with this location.

Just visited today to get a Tdap vaccine shot, which is a visit for preventive care/immunization and 100% covered by my insurance. However, I was charged for $90 as they consider this as a general office visit, simply to get my patient info into their system. No one explained the cost before everything is done.The lessen is - if you are a new patient seeking only preventive care/screening/vaccine shot, dont come here as you will be ripped off.

Let me start off by saying that the nurses and the facility itself is pleasant. That being said, when it comes to Dr. Nader (who was referred to me by Dr. Alicia McIntosh) she is absolutely heinous and incorrigible human being.The ENTIRE time you are being seen by her she spends the majority of the time reviewing and going over what is already written in the medical profile that SHE has made for you. If she isnt doing that, she is trying to the best of her ability to explain what is going on to a simpleton such as myself. She is quick to blame you and say that she isnt going to do anything for you if it doesnt convenience her (verbatim). She swears by it, and her attitude reflects this, that she knows what she is doing and that she knows more than you about what is going on with YOUR body. As I said in front of her already.I have been knowing about my condition since I was 17. This isnt the era where internet and computers do not exist, doc. EVERYTHING you have told me I already found out with a Google search. I just want you to be a doctor and help me, not give into your God Complex and talk to me like I am some idiot. Which I told her to her face and all she can come up with is I am sorry you feel that way, but thats not my intention. I am just trying to explain whats going on in a way that you can understand. THAT. That right there, is already telling an idiot that theyre too stupid to understand the vast medical terminology and vocabulary my little mind cant handle when I am studying to be a nurse, my boyfriend works at a hospital, my aunt is a neurosurgeon and again, GOOGLE!I will NEVER recommend this doctor to anyone and as soon as I am able, I am going to switch endocrinologist. I know what Im doing was said over 20 times and I wont do anything until I know what Im doing, was said just as much. Well which is it, doc? Do you know what youre doing or not? Also, you dont have to flail your arms about talking and trying to explain to me like I am some neanderthal. I understand English just fine. Also when you ask how someone is doing or even asking a question, wait for them to reply before cutting them off. Oh and finally, cover your mouth when you cough! Youre a doctor! You should understand manners and how to practice good health, preventatives, and hygiene.

I’m going to give a two start because the OBGY doctor is always there. But when it comes to the family doctor they are never there. Always rescheduling. I’ve been reschedule 4 times already and they do it on the same day as your appointment that is very unprofessional. I will be going somewhere else for family doctor. No wonder they have low reviews. Instead of trying to fix it they make it worse.

My boyfriend does not have insurance and I found this place for him to go. He came home so upset after his visit and feeling like the doctor he saw did not care at all and didn’t want to help him resolve his issues he’s had for years. He was charged ridiculous amounts for a visit and some bloodwork. Never going to this place again.

Doctor talked me into testing I didn’t want or need. I agreed after she said testing was covered by insurance. It wasn’t. Received a bill for several hundred dollars. No one bothered to call me with test results! Admin staff and nurses are rude. Difficult to get an appointment because most of the doctors are only there once a week. Go somewhere else.

My appointments got cancelled twice at the very last minute. My husband had a appointment at 9:30am. He waited until 11:00am still not seeing the doctor. This place is poorly organized.

Dr. Parks at Heights Multispecialty Clinic is amazing. She’s the pediatric doctor I’ve met she has treated all of my children and I highly recommend her and the clinic. The staff is great. Wait times are short. Dr. Parks is thorough and truly cares for her patients.

Dr Parks is absolutely wonderful. She spent time with us to ensure she understood my daughters full medical background, symptoms, and concerns. She was genuinely interested in my daughters well being and is treating her whole person: mental, physical, and emotional. Love her!

Update: Jan 2019: It was probably a bad day. They are still awesome!Since I wrote this I feel like things are going downhill a bit...We shall see if it improves....I have never had a bad experience here, so I dont know what these people are talking about. They are super helpful and friendly. I always schedule my appointments to be the first one (8AM). The only time I had a long wait was when the doctor was stuck in traffic. That was once. Ive been using UT Physicians for about 10 years now. I love the doctors, the phlebotomists, and the office staff. I even tell all my friends they need to switch to this group. Also...I had my first hospital procedure ever at UT Med Center. The wait was super long but the staff was awesome.

I am new to the neighborhood and have been here twice now. I found the staff to be very friendly , organized and helpful. Dr.Suarez listened to my concerns, asked pertinent questions and showed genuine concern for my care and health Her new assistant was also friendly and helpfu . I had appointments on each occasion and was seen promptly.

Dr.Suarez is amazing doctor. No one cared about my health as much as she does! Love their professionalism and the service overall.

Horrible horrible horrible location. They are always extremely busy and no one that works there ever has any sense of urgency. Often times you will find yourself waiting upwards of 2 hours. When you walk in, most of the ladies are busy however the only reason they are constantly working is because they dont know what theyre doing. Theyll spend 39 minutes trying to figure something out on a computer before trying to ask a more knowledgeable person for help. Call waiting time is usually at least 10 minutes (for the first time, not taking about the 3 times theyll put you on hold). When trying to set up an appointment or make a payment over the phone, you will almost always get told the person you are trying to reach is out of the office or they cant find them right now and that theyll have them call you back. When told something is urgent and they say theyll write that it is urgent someone will give you a call back, expect at least a 3 day wait. (When I told them I was supposed to be moving across the country they called me the day after I was supposed to be moving, almost 2 weeks after the call I made to them). And last but not least, attitude. All but 2 of the ladies that work in this office have a terrible attitude, they will ignore the fact that you came in, and if you dont sign in they will rudely tell you to, and if you do sign in without them telling you to, they dont notice for 20 minutes or until someone else comes in and signs in (which means youre not in the system as arrived until after they notice, so that half an hour you spent sitting there waiting so far means nothing. And youre checked in at the same time as that person that just walked in the door)

I had a great experience here. Not sure what the other comments are about, but the staff was really nice and everything was great for my appointment. They had all of my information correct, and I didnt have any problem with insurance.The pediatrician is great with my kiddos too!

Currently waiting.. my child’s second visit here and we have waited an hour each time. Once because the nurse didn’t put my paperwork in to let them know we were here, second time the lady up front sent us to the wrong line and we’ve been here over an hour now. So disorganized. Once you get back it’s fine but my goodness after wasting 2+ hours waiting it’s starting to not be worth it.

Typically people wont write the god reviews because theyre happy and lazy all at once. I think these folks are fantastic. Everyone from the psychiatrists (I dont want to make anyone else feel bad, but my psychiatrist) actually listen to you and Ive been very happy lately. The therapists are great and the staff is impeccable, especially because of the sheer volume of people that can be seen. That staff can handle crazy days, Ive been going there for awhile. All around, I have zero complaints. Kudos.

Since I switched my son over to UTP-Heights, I just love the pediatric dept. from the nurses to Dr. Parks. any time i have had a question or concern, I am able to email the pediatric nurse and she calls me back with answers or tells me let me find out. I always get a call from Dr. Parks to make sure everything is ok. and I appreciate the way the pediatric dept handles and treats my son when he has episodes, they have always been nice and very professional, makes a mom feel better.

Takes so long to complete paperwork that impacts my life. Inconsiderate, uneducated. Dont seek services here.Update: After posting that generic response feigning consideration for patients or concern about their customer service. No resolution was even attempted. My opinion stands, this is the worst doctor on the planet.

Ive been a patient here for several years now. The doctors are great but I spoke to someone a while ago named Cathy in regards to an appt I thought I had. She was very rude when telling me I didnt have an appt set for August 6th @ 3pm. She was also very rude when I asked if I can schedule an appt elsewhere. Ive never had an experience like this with any of the receptionists. That is definitely no way to be speaking to a patient and it reflects on the office itself. If you dont like your job or try to at least have a positive attitude dont even bother working in customer service.

Nurse Gilmore Dr. Parks and Dr. Montelegre are the best. I go there and so does my daughter!!! I love this place!!;

The Doctors are good, Specially Dr Parks 🙂But the staff in the front really has to be reevaluated, they all have a attitude & When one makes it to their appointment on time the staff takes forever to check you in so now is past your scheduled appointment & your late! Why all because their carrying on a conversation with the person in front of you about nothing Dr visit /office related! SMH.. I really hope their supervisors can look into them checking you in accordingly instead of gossiping & tell them their job description includes being courteous & not having attitudes.Thank you.

Rude experiences on several occasions. Physicians are awesome, but the RNs are stuck in a high school mentality. They often make faces at each other when dealing with pts they dislike, and I’ve personally encountered sarcasm when asking questions about my condition. No one wants to be uncomfortable or ridiculed when dealing with medical “professionals”. However, the check in secretaries are always sweethearts. I highly doubt I’ll ever return.

Staff and my therapist were all wonderful

Doctor Montealegre is nice and helpful; however, his services are overshadowed by the irresponsible and disorganized staff. If you value your time and your schedule, then find another clinic.Ive had my appointments cancelled several times. The first time, they cancelled my appointment for no reason minutes before. I was already in the parking lot outside the clinic. Second time, they scheduled me on a day that the clinic was supposed to be closed. Third time, my rescheduled appointment was cancelled, and no one bothered to contact me to let me know. I am very unhappy with UT Physicians at The Heights.

Extremely poor communication. It took greater than 2 weeks, 5 faxes, countless phone calls, and visiting the office to request a copy of an immunization record and get a signed doctors note for school. Zero urgency, zero concern, and a complete disconnect between the clinic and administration.

My husband was seen quickly but the doctor rushed while actively checking him out, and we had to wait forever to get discharged. Though we could hear the nurses having a grand old time in the hallways :/

Do not get blood work done here. I had bloodwork done in July 2017 as a part of my COVERED annual wellness screening and blood work. UTP outsources the lab work to Memorial Hermann Outreach Labs who has a small clinic on-site inside the UT Physicians office in the Heights. UTP did not give MH my insurance information to bill the blood work properly to my insurance nor did they give them my correct contact information to get a hold of me if there were billing issues (they gave them a random phone number that Ive never seen before and provided MH the incorrect apartment number that I was living at the time (they said apartment #3 when I was in #312). I had no idea that the bill was never paid until late 2018 when I started getting debt collection calls & letters. I am now stuck with a large bill that I have to pay out of pocket since so much time has past and my insurance will not let me submit a claim for services in 2017. Thanks a lot! Also, long wait times and it took several weeks in advance to get appointments. I will be taking my medical services elsewhere for 2019...lesson learned!

The staff has always made my appointments comfortable with a friendly and helpful attitude and my Doctor cannot say enough good things about her.I would recommend this office to anyone .

This place used to be awesome but now EVERYTIME there and hour behind....at least. Its ridiculous. Dr.S are good but not worth wasting an hour and a half..2 years later an nothing’s changed. 11am appointment just to get my blood pressure, 11:40 the room was gonna be ready in 5 mins, 15 mins ago.

These people put my arm back together! Pics included! IDK whos giving them bad reviews, seems like people complaining about the waiting room experience which is unimportant in my book. As far as I am concerned these people are a godsend & they do AMAZING work. I broke my arm VERY badly in a motorcycle accident & these folks made me WHOLE again :) I will never forget them, & their office will be getting christmas packages from me FOR LIFE. I am 6 ft & 145 lbs, a bit of a stick figure, I have a poor diet, & I wanted a full recovery where I could still throw a baseball, ride a motorcycle, and throw a punch. Boy did they deliver! I am FULLY recovered, almost like new except the scar & a lil bit of nerve damage (not their fault, I WRECKED my funny bone). I would WHOLEHEARTEDLY reccomend their services to anyone in need. They even gave me a good price as I had no insurance & paid out of pocket! Much love you folks!

Dr. Mendez misled me to believe he had a backup plan if my medication did not work; however, when I called to tell him that it was not working and we needed the backup plan, he took days to get back to me and then his nurse called to say he wanted me to come in for another appointment. He is less concerned about anyones mental health than he is about his paycheck. Awful.

Was told to immediately rush to get xrays for 1 year old for a mass he had that they didnt know what it was and that it could be something bad and that theyd let us know within 24 hours the results its been 5 days now and still havent heard anything and cant get ahold of anyone and no call backs left multiple messages, totally unprofessional and unacceptable! Call us back were worried about our child

After waiting on hold for over 37 minutes I was told by the nurse there were no appointments.You hit #1 for scheduling but the person that answers that line isnt qualified to make an appointment and you are forced to wait on eternal hold for a nurse?????Sounds like an EPIC FAIL

I like the doctors here, but have not had great experience with follow up or helpfulness from the nurses assisting doctors. Ive had to call back multiple times to get a response to my question.

Horrible, horrible staff. Dr. Parks and Gloria are really great with my baby but those ladys in the front desk really have me considering another pediatrician.

Dont go here, absolutely the worse service you can have. In addition, they will tell you that your insurance will cover the cost only to find out a year later that they are billing you for this work. Called many times and they never answered the phone, save the aggravation and go elsewhere.

They never give you results of your blood test and they leave you on hold and then just hang up on you. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

(Currently pregnant) staff and nurses took 2-3 weeks to get back to me after finding out I had vaginal infection, there very nice just not organized.

They never gave me the results of my tests. They charge without telling you what the charges are, they dont keep track of you. NEVER GO HERE. I told them my symptoms and they did not leave me anything or diagnose anything, spend for fun.
