Just what I needed. For the past couple of years Ive been going to different franchise Massage Therapist hoping to find someone who could do a good deep tissue massage. All to no avail. I ditched the membership and started looking for a good therapist and here it is! 5 stars for a reason! I was crying the whole time but felt brand new the next day! Tameika is amazing! I was experiencing severe back pain after being treated for pinched nerves in my lower back. I was receiving 3 adjustments per week, which caused my muscles to inflame and severely reduce my mobility. It was so bad that I actually thought I had bruised my tailbone. After dealing with the pain for weeks, I saw another masseuse/reflexologist and it helped for the duration of the massage but about an hour after, the pain returned. That’s when I was referred to Enhancing Massage and it was a game changer. I felt the relief and return of mobility during the massage and it has only gotten better since I first saw her a month ago. I’ve gone from pain at a 9/10 to 1/10 and it’s truly unbelievable. I’ve booked future appointments every other week and have made this a permanent part of my self-care. She has a client for life.

I am SO GLAD I found this magical woman- she is incredible. Talk about a diamond of a massage therapist. Not only did she pay special attention to my problem areas, but you can tell how much she truly cares about her clients and loves what she does. I cant speak highly enough. Tameika is professional and skilled. Her office is clean with a nice ambiance. I have been dealing with stiff muscles and chronic pain for years. What I appreciate most about going to Enhancing Massage is that no matter what I’m going in for she finds all points and pain. If I had to explain this therapist it would have to be a bit more than a Massage Therapist, she actually gets to the bottom of the pain. She really knows her stuff and is not afraid to use the necessary pressure that’s needed. I highly recommend!!!

Im quite active and at some point or the other something gets overworked, twisted or pulled. I took the time to read reviews from many Massage Therapists in my area and, although there are many good ones, EMB stood out so I had to see for myself. Tameika was thorough, used a several modalities to loosen things up and know exactly how much pressure to apply. She was great and knows what she is doing, I will be going back shortly.

She is absolutely AMAZING! I love that she educates you on exactly what it is she is doing. She also walks you through what you can expect during and after the massage. I recieved a medical massage from her and it made a huge difference. I could not move my lower body, my range of motion was barely there, but after she was done I could walk without it hurting. I have above normal stress combined with some bulging discs at L3 and L4. I get weekly massage work when a I am home in Utah. I tried another place while I was in Houston for a few months and was very disappointed. I was fortunate enough to find Tamica. She did an amazing job. My visits are all business and I expect it to not feel good due to the amount of tension that builds up to the point of becoming debilitating. She can really put on the pressure to work out any knot or tight muscle issues. I’m as close to massaging a piece of wood as you can get. It was brutal at the time but so worth it afterwards. I had shooting pain down my left arm by time I got in to see her. The usual back work didn’t eliminate the pain in my arm. My next visit was intensive work on just my arms. It hurt a lot. But the pain never came back. I wish she was my normal massage therapist back home. I highly recommend.

She was very thorough and conscientious in her technique. Ive been experiencing a bit of pain for some time but I felt immediate relief afterwards, something I havent been able to say after so many other therapist massages. I highly recommend!

I have patellofemoral pain syndrome, runner’s knee, from HIIT workouts and flat feet. My fascia throughout both legs is extremely tight. Tameika used cupping to release the tightness. I could feel my legs loosen while on the table still. I feel so much relief after seeing her! She made me feel very comfortable.

Tameika is the most dedicated masseuse Ive ever been too. I’ve been seeing her recently about once a month and her deep tissue massage has made a huge improvement to my everyday functioning! Tameika is AMAZING!! This lady has miracle hands blessed by God! She specializes in deep tissue, sports massage, however, you can tell her to do more relaxing and combination to your liking. She knows exactly where your knots are and she works them right out. My husband and I were going every two weeks but now we go twice a month and we are always looking forward to the next session. Ive been getting deep tissue massages with Tameika for a little over a year now. Recently, I went in for my monthly appointment and told her my IT band was causing me pain when running. We spent the session focusing on that area, and the next day on my run the pain was gone and has not returned to date. I’ve been getting massages for almost 30 years and Tamika is honestly the best massueus I’ve ever found. I’ve been all over the country to some of the finest spas and resorts in the world and she is the first person who’s ever been able to give me more than temporary relief. I have a chronic lower back issue abs also carry off the charts tension in my upper back and shoulders - often to the point of having numb limbs or restricted movement. In the past no matter how often I’d get treatments I’d leave feeling like we never got to the root of the issue. I’d get temporary relief but within a few days I was all locked up again. I started seeing Tameika last summer and instantly felt the difference. I could tell her where I hurt and she would work that area but she seemed to know where the problem was really originating from. I was able to go once a week of a couple of weeks initially and the progress she made stayed with me. Each visit we were able to go deeper and address other problems. I’ve had chronic leg pain my whole life and other massages did little or nothing to help me. When I came here, she worked out my leg muscles and I’ve had no pain since despite being on my feet all day long. It’s been a total life saver for me.

About 4 weeks ago while exercising I injured the lower left side of my back, my quadratus lumborum (QL) muscle, very quickly! I’m a personal trainer so exercising is my life and how I make a living for myself. I tried to continue to exercise but my back started to be in excoriating pain! That day and the next day, I had to call off work because with every step I took, my back was telling to me stop. I have been getting massages regularly from another massage therapist close to my home, inside a fitness center but decide to come to Tameika, because I have heard great reviews about her helping to reduce pain due to sports injury. My other therapist, would usually use cupping therapy when one of my body parts was in severe pain from overexertion with my exercise routines. I was looking for someone who could use their hands, elbows, even their knees, if they had to, to help get my body back together. I went to EMB a few days after my injury. Tameika use the whole hour on my back, which was much needed because unbeknownst to me, my back was extremely tight. Evidently I have been wasting a great deal of money and time using other massage therapists because I should not have been as tight as I was. She worked my knots out and really hit on my trigger points to loosen my back up. I felt so much better after our first massage session. I wasn’t 100% back to my full self but I was able to return back to work and even started back exercising. I had another session with her today, she worked on my whole body for 90 mins and boy, do I feel good! I’m going to keep up with regular sessions with her because I feel she will keep my 41 year old body together so I can continue to exercise the way I like to and be able to train my clients for many more years to come! She is really great at what she does! Little body but strong hands!

I have had a long standing issue with my hips and Tameika was able to identify and address physical issues connected to my hips that had previously been overlooked. My sports massage with Tameika was amazing. She was so kind and easy to talk to and truly gifted at what she does. I could feel the intention behind every movement she made and literally felt her moving the pain through my body and releasing it until it was gone. I am training for a marathon, lift weights, and generally carry a lot of stress in my shoulders. I have only ever had a few massages before and they were more relaxation focused (i.e., at a stall on the beach) and I could immediately tell the difference with Tameikas--it was relaxing but I could also tell it was genuinely creating a change in my body. I cant wait to go back!Other small things- location was nice and clean, lots of parking, easy to schedule appointment, and nice room temperature.

WOW!! This lady is magical. I had three lumps in my leg from an incident that happened 2 weeks ago. I was so concerned that the knots would be permanent, but I told her my issue and she put her fingers to work.I can already see and feel the knots reducing. Ive been receiving deep tissues massages from Tameika for about a year. Initially, I went to treat myself once, but quickly I learned how important massages were for my health. I wish I started receiving massages years ago, but I am so glad that I started this past year and was lucky to meet Tameika! Im an avid cyclist, and I do some sprint triathlons. These massages help keep my muscles healthy so I can exercise better and prevent injury. I will always keep these massages as part of my health routine.
