Love this place..Its not so crowded..

Very old machines. No air/fan upstairs. No fans on machines. I would not come back to this location for independent workouts. Just too hot.

The place is huge! There is plenty of devices for you to use. The swimming pool only has two lanes but if you wait youll get the chance to swim your laps. The steam room has a powerful steamer. Great place for your money. 👍

I love to come here in the middle of the night to swim and use the sauna. Im usually by my self! Wet areas are clean and ladies locker room is clean. No hair dryers; use the hand blowers. Water pressure is great in the showers. After work hours the place is packed! Staff is helpful and available.

Been working out here for years. Music is pretty bland, prices seem to keep rising. Would like to see some kind of loyalty program or first responders/military discount. Also I’m pretty sure this location ISN’T open for 24 hours a day anymore, yet they charge you full price! The area around it is also deteriorating. I’ve seen two different vehicles with broken windows and belongings stolen. Not a bad place to workout, but I’m sure there are better options out there.

The spaceing and social distance was appropriate to guidlined and atmosphere was amazingly private clean and extremely helpful gym agents

For the most part I was pretty happy with it till they cut the lock on my locker an took my stuff without warning for that reason Im lookin for a change

Lost a long term member due to change of operating hours. With other locations closing it would only make sense to keep this one open 24 hours. Plenty of members worked out at 4am there was never anyone at the front desk to greet while the computers were sleeping. Check ins never counted which resulted in 24 hour thinking there was low attendance. Unfortunate. Definitely a 5 star review when/if the hours ever return.

Supposed to open at 5:00AM it is now 6:00am and still not open, this is not the first time they have been late to open.

The hurricane helped with the renovation of this club. Staffs are EXTREMELY USELESS; they don’t greet you nor help with anything. The equipments are promised to be filthy and super disorganised with staffs just walking by leaving everything to that poor woman to clean and do everything else. Very sad place for a club.

Equipments are fairly new but they don’t enforce wearing masks. There’s always people walking around with no masks. There’s usually 2-4 staff members when I go and they’re usually just sitting around/talking like they don’t really care if you’re wearing masks or not. I usually leave early because I feel uncomfortable. Sometimes someone would come up next to me and work out with no mask on

Place it’s clean, restrooms are clean. Machines are good conditions. Pretty transparent about rates. I liked the experience.

Lots of equipment, lots of staff, plenty of parking. Good access to the 45. Very busy.

Not much to say except I know why 24 Hour filed for bankruptcy. Not professional here and I see why my friend wrote quit training here. They dont pay their employees, especially their trainers what theyre worth.

I went on free day gym pass here. Fernando was the one guide me around the gym. I know I won’t have a lot of time to go to the gym to become a member for a whole year but he was nice as he persuaded me to become a member. I paid about $500 and ended up going to the gym around 10 times but I still appreciated that Frenando was really nice to me and I enjoyed the gym a lot. I decide to just do one day pass as I have free time to go after the membership end. I read the contract and come the right time to end my membership. I told Fernando and he was happy to assist me, he said it is okay to cancel it now and they already charged me for my last month and he said I still can go to the gym until May 31. Today is April 25, I go to the gym and the receptionist says I cancel my membership early. I told her about Fernando and she said okay with a very rude and looking down attitude on her face. I follow the contact properly and paid properly even just little attending, I still appreciate the gym but because of her I decide not to come back and just throw away my last paid month. I know it is business but please don’t actually look at customers and humans with money in your eyes and your soul like that. Thank you for your nice service, Fernando! I enjoyed the gym a lot!

This 24’s machines are more updated than the 24 sport in rice and Downtown but weights are ALWAYS in the wrong place. So annoying

I worked out at this location several times prior to the hurricane, and Ill tell you, it was the WORST 24 Hour Fitness that I had ever been to. Since the hurricane and the remodel, it has taken a total 180 degree turn. Obviously, it has new equipment and layout, but it is also very well kept. I dont know if management changed or what, but weights are picked up and the overall appearance is nice. The staff also seems friendlier.

Tried out my 3 day free pass to see how things is besides my gym that I am going right now.Well I never came back for my 2 or 3rd day passes. The gym is clean very nice looking. Staff was very helpful and very professional didn’t force anything on me.The gym is a bit unorganized with their machines. Seems like everything is just all cram in down stairs and they seems to be lacking a lot of machines.Yes free weights is the best which they have plenty of but machines is also best to put in your workout. They seems to be lacking a lot of hammer strength machines.Overall the gym is good not great. I will be sticking to my gym I been going to. This experience helped me appreciated the gym I am going to a lot more now.

Its a great gym. Aside from the fact that the cable setup is not by the mirror. Its important for beginners to see that they are in perfect form while using the cable setup.

Aside from a mandatory robotic hello, the staff is not genuinely friendly and Ive been going there for 15+ years. I usually just dont worry about it and focus on working out.I checked in, they said a monotone hello and saw my face. I left something in my car and literally came back a minute later, they totally forgot I just checked in, a guy named David who was there a minute ago made me check in again. I told him I was literally just there but he told me to contact his boss (Which I never brought up, I guess to say he didnt care and to contact him if didnt like it. He actually was there for my check in a minute before). I understand rules, but a minute gap seemed arrogant to feel powerful rather than customer service for a twenty year member.Keep In mind Im a former customer service manager and now professional who never takes time to do this and usually praises people like the graveyard satff who do a great job.Please communicate with David to understand people and improve customer service, along with his bare minimum staff in the morning. For every person that speaks up I guarantee there is a large silent majority who had poor customer service, dont say anything and just go elsewhere.

I come to this specific location once a week and I think everything is good about this gym aside from the fact that the sauna has a really bad smell. I go to other locations most of the time and they don’t smell nothing like this. This needs to get fixed immediately.

This gym is super crowded, the free weights all over the gym. The machines are dirty with hair oil and sweat is just dirty. Please clean them and organized the gym. The monthly fee are expensive for the service you are receiving here and let’s not forget about the annually fee. Don’t waste your money here, there are better gyms out there.

I don’t come during busy times but every time I’m here the gym is clean and personnel are nice. There are cleaning supply stations all over the gym. One of my favorite things is the toilet seat covers provided lol but really I love this gym, it’s clean, has everything you need. I changed over from fitness connection a bit ago and this is soooo much better! Also the shop prices are good compared to other gyms and selections are broad with drinks, bars, clothes etc.

Use to be a ghetto gym but the remodeled it. A lot of the equipment Is new and it’s always very cool climate wise thanks to the big fan. Only complaint I have is that 1. Basketball court is always packed and only 4 hoops. 2. Equipment seems to all be crammed up in a little space. 3. Need bigger sauna. Other than that I’m impressed how they changed the gym with the new equipment.

Honestly this gym was a VERY GOOD gym before hurricane Harvey. Since the remodel the gym has been TRASHED!!! You have there people that dont have a membership and keep getting guest passes. People drop off their kids like its a day care. The Basketball court is filthy! Sauna horrible, and its over crowded because of these people and their guest passes! I guess ill go to L.A fitness since this location will no longer be 24 hours anyway

This 24 hour fitness location has decent amenities and some great fitness classes. Linda is a fantastic instructor! She is very personable, motivating, friendly, and fun. She always has pep, but not in an overwhelming or obnoxious way.

Update: Nope gave them 3 more weeks. Same old crap. with exception to Glen who appears to be the only employee who takes his job serious, the staff here is worthless. weights everywhere except where they belong. Tripping hazards in the corridor to the elevator. 80lb dumbbells on the other side of the room. Its ridiculous that they cant simply post signs like other 24hr Fitness to remind people to rack their weights but having staff that completely ignore the problem. Glen is the only person that not only greets you at the door but will get up and do a walk through to keep the place picked up. any day he isnt working the place is a flipping pig pen. often times there isnt even any soap in the showers.Update: in the mgt defence since I posted my complaint... Perhaps it was a singular employee or the rouse of a customer complaint, but the environment at this gym has improved. Its been 2 weeks and weights are racked in order and from what I can tell bathrooms are considerably cleaner. If it stays that way Ill give another star. Put in another power rack and Ill give 5 starsDirty, Disorganized. Weights are scattered everywhere. Filthy mold crusted locker room and showers. Lazy punks wont rack their weights and a staff that doesnt clean up or enforce rules. I come in early and weights are literally everywhere which means nobody cleans from the night before. Just changed to this gym from Fitness Connections since I live very close to 24. I like it enough, the staff is helpful and pretty approachable. I cant complain about the dumbbells being out of place because the people are always just dumping them wherever they want, its kind of hard to keep putting them away properly when a minute later someone will do it again. The only complaint that I have is that they need another power rack, goodness do they need another power rack, one just isnt enough.I have the super-sport account so going to other gyms is an option if this one gets too packed.

Great steam room and pool love the rope climb and second floor. Good basketball cort. All ways clean good advice if you ask for it. Plus lots of discounts, veteran, PD, senor citizen, and more.

Decent gym, but one of the more disorganized and most in need of maintenance compared to the other 24-Hour Fitness options within a 15 mile radius. Weights are rarely racked and some of the equipment is in rough shape. Granted, this is primarily due to the clientele who frequents this gym.I have not been to any classes or taken personal training, but the staff seems friendly and welcoming.

24 hour has really stepped up their game. Come location has turf, with push sleds, tires, and rubber weights for squats and deadlifts. The membership price aint bad its 29.99 with 1 yr contact but if your dont like contracts they have an option for no contact but the price is a little higher per month. They do have an initiation fee but its not to high but you might be able to get in during a promotion with no initiation fee. Only reason I gave it four stars is the kids club it cost 16.99 for the first kid and 11.99 for the second child. Most gyms include kids club. I know my last one did the membership for my last gym was 20 bucks with kids club included. Thats just my opinion because with the membership and one child in the kids club you will be paying almost 50 bucks. It is a good gym and the facility is great.

Normal gym, nothing special. Ya they have a swimming pool and a basketball court but the weight area is not that impressive. A lot of old equipment. The only positive things about this gym is that the staff is really nice. I give them that.

I was a very happy client with all the services your gym offers. and I have lost all trust in this brand I needed to cancel my membership due to personal reasons. I was trying to reach you all last month and was unable to get through to some one and even went in to my local gym to try and cancel and they instructed me that I needed to call and I would be refunded. I was sadly mistaken when I tried calling today. you stole money from me and that is in a unacceptable business ethic. If you are going to offer a refund it should be to all states not just California.

This place is right down the street from me so its pretty convenient. But the condition of this place is very poor. Needs a serious make-over, from the building to the employees. Its just really dirty and not worth the money coming out of my account monthly. Avoid this location if you can

Staff is friendly and the machines are newer and in good working order. Rating 3 stars for the lack of attention to the weight racks and weights just laying around. Clientele must think their moms work here to pick up after them. Staff should be more assertive about keeping the racks in order. Extremely crowded 5 to 9 pm.

Best 24 hour fitness in the area. Lots of free weights, perfect workout temperature (not cold or too hot) and lots of cardio machines. Feels like an LA fitness. I did not try the pool so no comments about that. Not as fancy as the 24 hour fitness on rice village, but waaaaaay better than the one in Louisiana st, and the other one closer to Galveston.

Purchase the annual plan for 2 years and I have been so far satisfied with the amenities provided by the 24 hours fitness.

My home gym in Castle Rock, CO is outstanding so this isnt a knock on 24 hour fitness overall but specifically this Gym. The management and staff at this Gym are not doing their job properly. Weights are completely disorganized and there seems to be a general state of apathy that prevails. Some of that I put on the clientele at this Gym because if you are a regular Gym member and dont know how to properly return items to where you picked them up then you need to be talked to. I have found unused dumbells lying around all over the place as well as dumbells randomly placed back on their racks out of order, stacked on top of each other etc.. I also find their to be too many machines packed too closely together at this Gym. It makes it difficult to move around at times.

Ive been coming to this location a little more than a year. It is conveniently located near my home and work.Pros:Most of the staff is courteous and professional. Majority of their machinery is is working condition, and it is quite spacious. Steam room and Sauna is working almost all of the time.Cons:The restrooms are never properly cleaned. Toilets always smell like old urine. Shower curtains are stained with mildew.I try to come early morning to avoid the nastiness.Weights are 97% of the time either in its wrong place or not racked at all.Many car break-ins so try to park close.Most evenings, members play music on a speaker that can be heard throughout the gym. Not sure why staff never addresses it...Regardless of the Cons, I come in, workout, rerack my weights, and leave. Just wish it could be a bit more tidyd-up so my visits could be more pleasurable.

Alright I am under the impression that most of these people are talking about a DIFFERENT 24 hour. there are two in the area. The other one is absolutely disgusting, the 24 our sport is actually a really nice gym. Ive been going on a free pass and plan on getting a membership. The gym has a pool, basketball court, and changing rooms on the first floor and on the second is dance studio, weights and an area set aside for yoga mat type workouts. There is plenty of equipment unlike the LA fitness down the road and the Anytime fitness locations as well. The changing rooms are clean. Honestly I think everyone is mixing up the two gyms and I dont blame them for bad mouthing the other gym however it is not the same location.

The location is not busy when I go (at different times & days) so the equipment I use is usually available. My internet connection is not good but the WIFI service is pretty good not to mention eye candy!

They never have enough people to watch the kids club. Ive been asked to wait for them to find another employee a number of times. Its 6:30 in the afternoon. How are you not staffed properly at this time of day? And all they ever say is sorry.

Only reason why i still come here cause its literally 2 minutes away. Over the past 4 years that ive been going, the condition of this gym (Rowlett/Almeda Genoa location) has gotten worse...most of the equipment upstairs are broken, but the managers dont care to fix it. Now the cable machines downstairs are messed up. Equipments arent maintained. Hot tub is disgusting, nasty residue in the tub, but when i told the employees, they say its normal. Yet, the hot tub at other 24hr fitness locations do NOT have that nasty residue!! Work ethics at this location is horrible...even the staffs are hitting on their clients (ive been hit on by several!) My car got broken into in broad daylight 8AM!!! nothing was done about it...its not that hard to run a gym. Get it together

The black girl with the curly hair is rude and not friendly at all plz fire her she is doing a bad job I have a pass and my gf wanted to come I. With a free pass and she refused to let her in because she said she is not a team member only a cashier and cant let her in with the pass she got online. I will never recommend his place to any one

- i have had the gym part of my life for bout 6 years now- been to my fair share of different locations of 24 hour, non 24 hour, and even over seas- my usual gym is up north side of Houston on 1960/Veterans Memorial (great location btw)that aside, i went to this gym because i was in the area and needed to get my physique on. ive never been to a gym and had the im definitely never coming back till i came to this one. this is hands down THE dirtiest and messiest gym i have EVER been to. there was rust on pretty much everything and bathroom smelled so bad i decided to just hold it. i can only speak for the downstairs portion of the gym, for i could only imagine what was upstairs!as for the staff: they were too busy on their cells phones to notice anything. so you most likely can just walk in without even signing inon a good note, the gym did have the necessities. so if you dont mind any of the above, and/or live close (i suppose) then this gym will do great for you!! me personally, even if it was down the street i would take the extra effort to go some where else.PS: rust IS harmful to the human body. google that $#!T if you dont believe me (via REPUTABLE sources)

Its a day care for parents to leave thier kids. they even leave them there at night and on weekends

I printed out a 3 day pass at my home. After that, I went to 24 Hour Fitness. I showed it to the staff and they said to wait because the person who is printing out the real pass is giving a person a tour of the gym. They said it takes about 5 minutes to be finished. I waited 10-20 minutes and I was frustrated. I told the staff if I could go to the gym and come back for the pass later. They said no and wait for another 5 minutes. I went to the person who is printing out the pass and told him/her if he/she is finish. They said that they are almost finish. I waited for another 10-20 minutes getting more frustrated. I got so frustrated that I decided to go home. I never get a good workout. Bad customer service here at that location.

This is my favorite 24 hour fitness in the Houston area. Although the equipment isnt as new and clean as the ultra sport ones, there is plenty of equipment and the staff is very welcoming. I plan on staying with this gym.

Staff dont care to much for ... but the gym is a mess weights everywhere and is more of the members that are to lazy to put the weights back but it should be in forced

This is the worst customer service fitness i have ever faced. I personally do not suggest to be there. They talk one thing and do another.

This is my favorite place to unwind after a stressful flight. Whenever I fly out of Houston Hobby Airport, I always stop by to relax my legs on the bike or treadmill and take a shower before driving home.
