The doctor is so nice but there is a nurse named cynthia and we were trying to make an appointment but she was very rude to us and couldn’t explain to us the issue before being disrepectful and then when I got mad about her being rude and she said I was belittling her. They should get better staff. So dissapointed

Office staff is very unprofessional. Not nice at all. They always seem bothered, and unhelpful. Faxes never go through, follow ups never happen. Never return phone calls. The doctor is good, but good luck trying to communicate with them, for refills, lab results, or any assistance whatsoever. Horrible office personnel, not polite at all.

I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. He was assigned to my elderly mother while she was hospitalized. He did an upper GI scope. While in there he found a mass that he did a biopsy on. He was rude to me in our pre op conference Two weeks later I called his office to receive the results and was told they weren’t ready. At three weeks on a Thursday I called the office and the nurse said the results were ready but that the doctor had to look at them before I could get results. I asked if I could just hear if it was cancer or not!!!! I was told no and that the dr would not be calling me today because he was in clinic. Three days later on Monday I called again. She said she would send the dr a message AGAIN to remind him to call me. Finally I said that if he didn’t call me TODAY I would call my lawyer. In 15 minutes Dr Azad called. I let him tell me the good news and asked many other questions. Then I asked him why I couldn’t get this result sooner. He said because the good results were in a pile on his desk to get to when he could. I said families are waiting to hear any news and couldn’t the nurse say something? Then HE HUNG UP ON ME!!!! This is a doctor with a huge ego!!! Never will we see him again.

I visited Dr. Azad for upper abdominal pain. He spent a lengthy amount of time with me to thoroughly explain possible causes and remedies. He answered all my questions, silly as some were. This visit is the most time a doctor spent with me. His bedside manner was professional, caring and to the point. Great experience and would highly recommend.

Awful doctor, zero bedside manner, and has taken 2 weeks to get back to us with lab interpretation so our specialist can proceed with treatment. My background is med sales, I get that in the GI space physicians are more too the point but this doc was down right interrogative.

He gave me my colonoscopy results from out in the hall in front of my room and never spoke to me personally. Very odd.
