I went to go see Dr. Nemoto and have seen him for years. He is honest and thorough and listens to what you have to say. I have had a lot of anxiety over my colon issues and he is very patient with me.His Nurse Lori is the absolute best! So kind and patient as well and the office staff goes above and beyond to be friendly.

I highly recommend Dr. Nemoto! Besides his professionalism and expertise, he and his staff were very caring and accommodating. They made sure they assisted me all the way through. Dr. Nemoto showed empathy and addressed my concerns. He wasn’t just any doctor trying to fill his wallet, but instead treated me like how every human being should be treated - with respect, honor, and humility. For as long as Dr. Nemoto will practice, he will be our permanent GI.

My insurance company referred me to Dr. Nemoto because he has a discount plan for colon services. The staff was very rude and makes me not want to visit the office. Have not had a chance to meet the Dr. however he was highly recommended.

This doctors negligence in providing me a simple helicobacter plyori test lead to worsened stomach infections, ulcers, and ultimately a big tumor. my oncologist ordered six intensive quimiotherapies including in my brain to save my life. Now I am a cancer survivor with inmune system compromise, a big debt an other health problems.

Dr. Nemoto was great. Ive had 2 colonoscopies in the past, one by the VA, and it was a horrible experience. I came into this one feeling really uneasy, but Dr. Nemoto eased my concerns, even about the anesthesia. He not only recommended the best course of action, but a cost effective one as well. He was very thorough and explained everything. Hes an A+ Gastro, and I highly recommend him.

Intelligent, personable, professional and thorough. In todays health care environment it is crucial to have a doctor with such and one that is more concerned with patient health than he is about dealing with insurance companies. 5 stars for sure!

The worst doctor I had seen ever. I would give 0 star if I could. Not professional at all. I spent $165 for a visit and he did not even ask what is my problem and no explanation about anything. Very impolite and arrogant. I have to ask questions to get some idea about my problem and all of his answers were just commonsense. Cant believe how he got he certificate. Never go back again.

I got my first colonoscopy. I had a lot of concerns and actually very scared thinking that I had something bad in my colon because of my family history. He took his time and answered all my questions. That helped me a lot even before colonoscopy. After the colonoscopy, again he took his time to enplane all my questions and concerns. I never seen other doctors explaining in detail and answering all the questions. Also his front desk enplane me a lot even before the first visit what to do and not to do before the colonoscopy. It also helped me. Thank you Dr. Nemoto and his team! I highly recommend Dr. Nemoto to anyone who needs help.

My wife had her first colonoscopy today and had been apprehensive about it. Upon initial consultation with Dr Nemoto in his office couple weeks ago, he totally put her at ease and answered all questions patiently. He and his nurse Lori were very personable and easy to talk to. The procedure today went as explained and my wife is resting comfortably this afternoon at home. Again, Dr Nemoto, Lori and his staff were quite accommodating and professional. We highly recommend!

My experience with Dr. Nemoto was horrible and I would never recommend him to anyone. I have had life long issues with my stomach. Ive seen my family doctor multiple times, and all they tell me is to keep a food journal. One of my symptoms got really bad lately, making it hard for me to be out in public so I finally went to a more specialized doctor. He focused on this one symptom, ignoring everything else I told him and his nurse. He mocked me the entire time I spoke with him, telling me that he was in the business of curing cancer and saving lives, and didnt really deal with people like me and my petty stomach issues. I know my stomach issues are minor in comparison to cancer and life threatening illnesses, but I told them when I booked the appointment what was going on and they should have told me then that I wasnt sick enough to see the patronizing doctor. I found another doctor who is much more willing and capable of helping me with my problem.

Im sure hes a competent doctor, but he should consider hiring better schedulers who are more open to explaining procedures and reasons for diagnosis.I originally scheduled with Dr. Nemoto, because he had availability to diagnose whether I had gluten intolerance on a very specific day. When my appointment was bumped due to an emergency surgery (quite understandable) the scheduler asked me when I wanted to come in for abdominal pain when I very specifically said that was only one symptom of suspected celiac disease (which is in my family). The scheduler told me that because they can only record symptoms, and my symptom was abdominal pain, they would only check my abdomen for pain. What a crock of crap. Why would I go directly to a specialist if I wanted an examination a primary care could do? Hello?! Part of the reason I went straight to the specialist was to save time and money. And when I asked why or if they would even do blood work (the standard first step for diagnosis) my question went unanswered, dodged, and then finally I was hung up on. The answer should have been yes if... or no but... with elaboration on why.If there is some kind of medical law that prevents you from discussing what procedures will or might occur, then freakin say so. But dont try to con me into making multiple visits, because the first visit is just a meet and greet. I am way to busy for this BS.I hate when doctors offices do this kind of crap. Just level with your patients and be a little more transparent. Stop trying to pad your wallets with multiple visits.Because of this experience, I will not go to this doctor. [Update] I just booked with a primary care, explained what I thought was going on. The scheduler was so nice. And when I asked what was included in this visit, she told me a consultation and blood work / referral if deemed necessary. Can you believe that? An actual answer.

David Nemoto has literally saved my life. He has been my doctor for 18 years. He also treats my husband, my daughter and my son-in-law. I would never trust my loved ones in the hands of any other gastro doctor. He does not treat you like a child or sugar-coat a diagnosis. He gives you the details, ALL of the details. He will answer questions as long as you keep asking. He never rushes you in and out like some doctors do, to where you feel like youre bothering them. He listens and he cares. He really cares about you having a healthier life. And, shocking I know, he also expects you to do your part in becoming healthier. At one time I had bleeding ulcers, but I was also taking NSAIDS for migraine headaches and he straight out told me that I would die if I kept up with that behavior. I did my part - I changed my behavior. He is also an incredible advocate for you with other doctors. He will not hesitate to intercede for you if another doctor is not giving you the care needed. I had to have a surgery that removed part of my stomach and duodenum, because of the intractable bleeding ulcers. About 10 days post surgery I was getting worse and the general surgeon sort of blew me off. Dr. Nemoto called him and told him that I wasnt a person that complained without cause. That if I said something was wrong, something was very wrong. The surgeon reluctantly order a CT scan. An hour later the surgeon came in and personally walked me through hospital admittance and to my room and apologized. I had a large abscess at the surgical site and had a large (700cc) pulmonary embolism. I spent 10 more days in the hospital and recovered completely. But if Dr. Nemoto had not been such a dedicated doctor who was willing to intercede with a colleague, the story might not have had a happy ending. So Dr. Nemoto is not only my doctor, he is my hero!
