Dr. Tran explained the issues with my eye sight in great detail and her staff was tremendously helpful with choosing the right glasses.

SPECTRUM EYE CLINIC was a great experience. Just had a very poor customer service experience. So disappointing. Youd think that with hundreds of other eye doctors in Houston theyd strive to keep their customers.

The only reason Im giving 2 stars is because my sons doctor was amazing. Very caring, understanding, professional and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, the customer service and frame durability are both equally horrible.My sons glasses broke because of a manufacture defect within the hinge of the glasses. It took over a month of repeated calling, leaving messages with staff, no call backs, etc. to have the issue resolved. What was the resolution?You can either purchase new frames or we can recommend a place to fix the damage.Well thank you for that wonderful help, now that my son has been without glasses for over a month. Would have been nice to know that I could have just easily went to Walmart to have them repair the frame instead of wasting my time going back and forth with multiple people.

Ive been coming here for years. Since I was ten years old and I love them! I’m twenty six already that should tell you a lot! Always recommend them to everybody never disappoint

I have been going to Spectrum Eye Care for over 10 years, and this was the second time I have visited this location. The staff is very friendly and accommodative to your needs. Dr. Tran does a phenomenal job of examining your eyes to help obtain the perfect prescription for you. Highly recommended!

Both the front office staff as well as Dr Tran are amazing. I had multiple billing questions they helped me with and also helped me picked out both my glasses and sunglasses. Also went over multiple options. Been seeing Dr Tran for many years and she is great and very friendly.

Love the doctor she is very thorough and will make sure you understand the procedure.

Great place to go to , Doctor was engaged with every issue I had with my eyes. The staff was awesome and help me reschedule my appointments if I had to cancel. No waiting time at all. Would definitely recommend to go to.

Never coming back... Wouldnt give me my prescription when I asked for it several times in the past. I just needed it to keep track of my yearly prescription record. Other optometrist offices give you your prescription and record if you ask and allow you to get glasses with that prescription elsewhere. Wouldnt recommend it to anyone else. Dont know if it has improved since last year. Also gave me my contacts so late that I couldnt even get my rebate. It was like they did that on purpose...

My whole family have been going to Spectrum Eye Care for the last two years. The staff are super friendly and helpful, appointments are always quick and pretty much on time, no long waits like at other larger offices. They have a great range of frames. It is so convenient next to my local Kroger with plenty of parking. I highly recommend them!

My two sons (4 & 6) and I had our appointments here at 1030. The staff was very nice and quick in getting things sorted for us to be seen. Dr. Tran is amazing and my boys were very comfortable with her during their exams. I have been a patient at both locations (on and off) for 14 years, and currently moved back to Houston and now my children were able to be seen! Definitely recommend seeing Dr. Tran and her amazing staff!

Very pleasurable experience! The staff was very warm and welcoming. I have never shopped for contacts before and they turned what should have been a daunting endeavor into a calm and concise process. Dr. Tran was very knowledgeable and helpful.

Dr. Tran and her staff are wonderful! My family and I have been coming to them for years at both locations. The staff is incredibly helpful- always try their best to expedite and accommodate my needs. Dr. Tran is also very thorough with her examination. I work in the medical field and it is tough to find a clinic where customer service is first- and I am happy to say this is my eye care home!

My visit went very well. They are very efficient and you dont have to wait for long, either to schedule an appointment or to meet the doctor on the day of the appointment. The Dr took time to listen to my concerns and the sales persons are not too pushy. All in all, I am very impressed and will be back for my next eye exam.

Awful experience. The Asian dr usually wearing red scrubs always flaunting her hickies covering her neck has a unprofessional and rude approach to her patients. Every time I saw her she would talk to me like it was her first day there or if she was still a 15 year old with an attitude. Never coming back.

I really liked the doctor! She was super nice and answered my plethora of questions. Not the biggest fan of the tech that set everything up for the doctor though. She was astounded that I had bad vision and needed glasses... not like Im at an eye doctors office for new glasses or anything...I brought in my glasses/contacts prescriptions for the last two years since this was my first time coming here.

The staff are very helpful and also thanks to Hazy for helping me out a few years now! Also eye exam was done in a timely manner

This Wednesday I had an exam for contacts and glasses. I usually go to another doctor and optical, but due to the proximity of Spectrum to my job I decided to give them a try and very glad I did. The staff was very friendly by following up with me about appointment and insurance coverage. Dr. Tran took the right steps to put me in a new brand of contacts that are very comfortable and manageable. Overall, Im very pleased with Spectrum and will be getting my contacts and glasses from them going forward.

I got some contacts here a month ago and the doc was precise with my prescription. They feel great and let me see so clear its as if I had 20/20. Its the only place that has managed to get my contact prescription correct. Im very happy with the service here

Love Dr. Tran and her staff, always friendly and knowledgeable. Never have to wait long to be called back and I love that they have Saturday appointments available. Always get appt reminders and a call when my glasses are ready for p/u. Will continue my care with Dr. Tran.

Recently went to Spectrum for my eye exam and new glasses and have had a great experience. The staff are all friendly and helpful, and Dr. Tran was very thorough and friendly (we had a good laugh when my only complaint about my eyes was Theyre old and stupid.). Wound up getting my first set of progressive lenses, and a couple of weeks later a set of single vision sunglasses. They have a good selection of frames and give discounts if you have to pay out of pocket.Great practice, Ill be back again in a year for an eye exam!

My children have been coming here since they were preschool age. Dr. Tran is always patient and very good with both of them (one is autistic). We have continued to come here, even though I can sales & discounts at other practices. Sadly we will not be returning to Spectrum because of an employee named Chris. He is unprofessional, loud, crass, and impatient. He really enjoys talking about his personal life, no subject is off limits, and his language is not what I am use to hearing from employees at a doctors office. Prior to his arrival I gave four starts, now I am being generous by giving two.

No show of Optometrist after 1 hr and 10 minutes wait toady. I never experienced that long wait for eye exam. I just walked out from the exam room. What a waste of time!Update: Optometrist called the same day and told me that she was tied with some emergency eyes issue of some elderly. Made another appointment and it was very good, no wait for me. I updated 1 stars to 4 stars.

My experience at Spectrum Eye Care was amazing! I got a nice pair of Ray-Bans, amazing service from Mariam, and a one week wait! Im very pleased with the service! :)

In short: 3 minutes with a tech 5 minutes with the doctor. 50 minutes total in the door and out which included new patient papers, waiting, looking at frames, discussing options etc.light years ahead of every other place Ive been!! They used three machines; 1 to measure my current glasses to tell the prescription, one to measure eye pressure and another where I looked at a picture that went in and out of focus which I was told measured my eyes as well.Once I saw the doctor she took a baseline with and without my glasses. Then she started flipping lenses and spinning wheels on the eye machine thinggy based off the previous machines. We made 3 or 4 adjustments and done. Answered all my questions about my light sensitivity and the health of my eyes.

After going to optometrists for years (private doctors and chains like Visionworks) Dr. Tran is the best one I have found. Not only does she pay attention to your personal eyesight issues, she does her due diligence to follow up. I will definitely recommend her to anyone for checkups and other eye problems...contacts and glasses can be fitted at Spectrum Eye Care on N.Eldrige.

Everytime my kids and I come here all the employees are so kind and helpful and Dr.Tran does the best exams I have ever seen she really takes her time with each patient and is so thorough and explains everything. I definitely recommend this location to everyone.

Very good costumer service from Miriam and not sure what the other ladys name was, but she was reallyy nice too :) this time i went in for glasses only, and gave me a pair of contacts for the mean time. Its a good drive from where i stay at, but definitely worth it!

Very disappointed with this company.. Ive had too many problems dealing with the Tidwell location & now Eldridge.. Im not happy at all.. no follow ups are being done as told & what was told was done is not.. Ill be going in for a refund.. Ive been going here about 7 years but after last Fridays visit.. I will not return..

Trang Tran and her staff are simply amazing. This was my very first eye exam, they made the process very easy and made me feel very comfortable. Their selection of eyewear is outsatnding. Lots to choose from. I got a pair of Tiffany & Co frames and couldnt be happier. I would recommend anyone to visit Trang and her staff. They made me feel like family :)

Horrible service.The staff was all over the place.Not only did it take forever to have my glasses ready, but they were rude and careless when I went to go pick them up.Worst experience ever, wouldnt recommend.

Their staff is incompetent. I ordered prescription glasses from them and 3 months and 8 visits later they still havent got them right. Either they mess up the size on the lens or scratch it while replacing it. This is the worst experience I have had in terms of ordering glasses.
