I found Amber Endodontics through my insurance provider, and I’m so glad I did! I had a crown replaced at my general dentist 3 weeks prior to visiting Amber Endodontics that became inflamed and would not settle down. The whole root canal process from X-rays to the finished result all took less the an hour, and I was finally out of pain! Not to mention, I felt no pain what so ever during the root canal process. All of the staff were very friendly, caring, and professional! Highly recommended in my book! I will definitely let my friends and family know should they ever need a fantastic endodontist! I had a root canal done by Dr. Chu and I cannot believe how smooth and quick the whole entire process was. I had been in so much pain and upon the consult, we decided to go ahead and get the root canal done that same day. Dr. Chu was so patient and explained the whole process to me and answered all my questions. I honestly fell asleep at one point because of how gentle and painless everything was. Hopefully, I wont need to come back any time soon but if I do require any endodontic services, I will be sure to come back here!

I was referred to Amber Endodontics by my periodontist. She showed up with a very positive attitude. She was knowledgeable and reassuring. I went in to be assessed and it was quick and informative. I had a root canal re-treatment. The equipment used was top of the line. I did not feel a thing from the start of the procedure to the end. She and her dental assistant worked diligently on my tooth. I would recommend her based on my experience today. If I ever need to see an endodontist again, it will be her.

I was delighted to share my experience with the staff at Amber Endodontics.I had a root canal in the latter part of November 2020 and then a crown shortly thereafter. At that time, I told the dentist the tooth was sensitive and she explained that the crown looked good, but it was probably the gums surrounding the tooth causing the sensitivity. Six months later, I was still have sensitivity and she suggested I contact Amber Endodontics because the root could be the problem. I went to their office directly and asked to speak with someone who could give me an approximate charge to look at the problem. Remember...this was six months later, but due to health reasons, I was unable to come by any earlier. What I experienced was, in my opinion, phenomenal. Instantly, I was x-rayed with several machines, all the while Im protesting that I had just come by for an approximate charge. Each staff member assured me there would be no charge. In comes the doctor with big needles and lots of Novocaine. He also assured me there would be no charge. Now thats service of the highest quality. I came to them late, but they took charge and corrected the crown which was somewhat higher than the other teeth and that caused the sensitivity. Problem solved. Amber Endodontics is a 5 STAR.

Doctor Liu was gentle and the procedure was so quick - what a night and day difference from any other dental experience that I have ever had. Dr. Chu and her staff were wonderful! I have Trigeminal Neuralgia which is extremely rare and considered the most painful condition in the world that I actually got from a dental extraction gone horrible wrong years ago. Obviously that incident made it more than difficult for me not to mention I was very apprehensive to seek any form of treatment from any type of dental professional. However, not only was Dr. Chu familiar with the condition, she was very patient, attentive, and cautious to make sure not to trigger any pain attacks whilst doing my root canal. I’m very blessed to have found such an incredible endodontist with such a kind staff. I recommend her to everyone. I don’t usually leave reviews but I feel it’s important for people with Trigeminal Neuralgia (that’s so incredibly debilitating) to obtain help from professionals that won’t further exacerbate their pain and that can provide the help and care we need. That was more than done an Amber Endodontics!

Dr Richard Lieu and staff did a fantastic job. I had a complicated situation in need of 4 Root canals, which needed to be done in front. He explained in detail how he was going to to do the procedure and I agreed to move forward with the procedure. I just had this procedure today and feeling really good. No issues. I just called the office and spoke with Kelly who was rude and unprofessional. I was inquiring about their services as a potential new client regarding my tooth issues. After she told me the next available appointment, I asked her what the cancelation policy was. She then told me rudely, You do not have an appointment yet. After explaining that I may want to schedule and want to know the policy, she raised her voice and rudely said, NONE! JUST CALL US THE DAY BEFORE! I told her I will pass because she sounds rude. She even told me to shop around somewhere else. Poor execution.

Excellent service and staff. Had emergency root canal only pain was with the numbing shots. Other than that no pain no electrical shocks like I had with my previous root canal. So thankful for all they did for me.

They did such a great job on cleaning my root canal that was infected, the staff was very positive and easy to talk to about the information needed. Great care is taken to listen, explain and work with individual needs. Positive reinforcement and making sure you are completely comfortable in the chair, combined with a sense of humor and a gentle touch, allow you to almost forget the shots and the drills. All my questions and concerns were answered and I was even able to take a short break when I needed it. I never felt rushed or felt like they were rushing. Instead great care was taken to thoroughly finish the job no matter how long it took. Dr. Chu and her entire team made me feel better not just about my own dental work, but about dentistry in general. Thank you!

First off, I’d like to say that I am terrified of dentist. The moment I walked in I was greeted by a super friendly receptionist (Kelly). This alone made me feel slightly better. It turns out, the entire staff kept that same friendly attitude. They went above and beyond in taking the time to explain what was happening and stopping often because I was scared. When I felt like I was having a panic attack they helped me breathe and calmed me down. Their work was exceptional as well. Wonderful Emergency Care - Happy Atmosphere in the office. My General Dentist referred me to Dr. Amber and Dr. Jeffery at 2pm on a Friday with a very painful molar. They worked me in at 3pm and I was out by 4pm, less one molar and absolutely no pain. Both Doctors are lettered from the finest universities in the USA. Thanks to the entire STAFF!

Had a root canal on a back tooth. It was mostly painless. I had some minor soreness afterwards but nothing Motrin won’t fix.

I had an incredible experience with Amber Endodontics. The staff got me in for a last minute appointment with Dr. Richard Liu on Christmas Eve because I was dealing with excruciating pain. I had a particularly complicated situation to diagnose, involving a couple teeth with crowns as potential culprits. Dr. Liu provided excellent communication with complete transparency throughout his diagnostic process. Dr. Liu clearly takes pride in the integrity of his word when he tells a patient that their tooth needs a root canal and mine was performed with zero pain or discomfort. I was referred to this office assuming I was going to be treated by Dr Chu which was highly recommended. Instead, I was treated by another Dr. Also, the xray after my root canal showed evidence of overfilling. This can cause serious future problems. And finally, in the midst of all this virus mess, every other previous doctors appointment whether medical or dental have always asked questions about have you been around someone that tested positive, out of Texas, fever, cough....the usual and they had a sign on the door requiring masks. They also checked your temperature. Not this place. No questions or anything. Huge red flag. I wont be going back.RESPONSE:Dr Chu,Thank you for your in depth response and explanation. I feel much better about my visit. Its not visually apparent to a non-medical person the extent you and your staff have gone to to assure the patients safety and well being. You mentioned I may have been distracted. I agree, thats totally possible knowing myself.

I have had pretty bad experiences with Dentists. But Dr Chu changed that she was very professional and gentle, I just wish she was my dentist for everything. She did not one but two root canals and my insides was jumping for joy for how gentle and painless she made me feel I would definitely recommend her.
