They were very helpful and very positive attitude. Dental center irk is always stressful but they were great to work with. The patient was our middle school daughter and she felt comfortable and safe.

Dr. Goodman was not able to perform my root canal, after so many injections of local anaesthsia, I was still in a lot of pain. He came to the conclusion that my other option was to be fully sedated. I decided to seek another place which I was happy I did, they did what Dr. Goodman couldnt do and I didnt have to pay an extra $1000 to get sedated. Root Canals should be painless!

Facing an emergency root canal, my dentist referred me to Southwest Endodontics. I am so glad he did. Dr. Goodman listened to my concerns about wanting to be TOTALLY numbed, and made sure there was no pain during the root canal procedure. Great experience so far! I have my root canal next week...but I will say that my experience with Dr. Rizzo was great. She knows her stuff--diagnosed the issue (dead nerve) in like two minutes....whereas my prior dentists in LA and Houston hadnt seen anything weird on the X-rays at all. Here, they not only do the x-rays but they do a cold sensitivity test and also a bite test. One of my crowned teeth had no reaction to a cold item and the surrounding teeth did...bingo. This issue of not being able to chew gum has been bugging me for over a year so I am looking forward to updating this review after the procedure! Fingers crossed everything goes smoothly!

Great experience from beginning to end. Dr. Hill and his staff performed two root canals for me during the past year, both under strict COVID-19 protocols. The first one was on a back molar, involving a longer procedure and a bit of local soreness over the next 24 hours. The second one was much milder and I experienced no discomfort at all. Insurance billings were handled with ease, with good communication about expected payment responsibility. I strongly recommend this office for emergency as well as routine treatment.

I had a root canal on the last tooth on the bottom right which I understand is difficult because of how far back it is and how low it was in the gum. Everything went very well, and other than the initial numbing shots which were a little uncomfortable but not very painful, there was no pain in the procedure at all. After the shots wore off, there was very minor pain for 2 to 3 hours and by the evening no pain at all, nor any pain the next day. I was very pleased with this root canal.

This is a great place to go take care of your teeth. The team was very professional examining and providing with solutions by priority. Dr. Goodman did a great job, I felt that I was in good hands. This is the second time I have been to Dr. Hill at Southwest Endo. The staff is efficient, friendly and very informative on the procedures. Starting with the initial phone call to make the appointment to receiving through email the previsit patient forms for completion, every step was explained in detail. I appreciate this type of communication and attention to detail. There is nothing worse than going for a medical visit with questions you are having to mull over beforehand.Dr. Hill has a good personality that should make you feel at ease. If you are like me and have a horrible fear of the dentist he may be able to help you too.

Very nice staff all the way from the front desk to the Dr. Dr. Hill was very easy to talk to and very informative. He really knows what he is doing and is only looking to do what is best for you and your teeth. I had been recommended a root canal from a referring general dentist. After thorough evaluation by Dr. Hill it turns out a root canal wasn’t the best course of action for my problem. He came up with a good plan and discussed it with me and I felt comfortable with the decision. If the need for an endodontist ever arises again, I will definitely come back!

Fantastic! Dr. Rizzo and the staff (Shaquitta) in the office was so wonderful that they made the procedure so peaceful. As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted with a welcoming spirit that calm all my nerves. If you have to have any specialty work done this is the place to go. All the doctors are great! Ive had an encounter with Dr. Hill and he is fantastic as well. Hours after the procedure when the anesthesia wore off I had no pain I was able to eat and drink with no problems. Dr. Ron Hill is the best dentist I have ever met. I was really nervous to get my root canal done especially after a really bad experience with another doctor. I searched for two weeks and visited 3 different clinics before my appointment at southwest Endodontics. It was important for me to find a good doctor. the clinic is very clean and the stuff is super nice! Erica took the time to talk to me before the treatment and made me feel im in good hands. when Dr. Hill entered the room he was so patient and explained everything. He made me feel I can trust him and he truly cared. That is hard to find this days! he was also very honest about what needs to be done and what can wait. if you fear the dentist as much as I do this will be a perfect choice for you. I expected the pain to be 10 times than what it really was, he is very professional and at the end of the treatment I got instructions and even his phone number in case of any emergency. I also got a hot towel and a lip balm and it felt really nice . As a foreign its never easy to find health care providers when you are new to a place and English being your second language makes it a real challenge, but Dr. Hill and his assistant Erica did everything they could to make me feel comfortable and that means a lot! He also kindly put a filling on an old open crown I had ! thank you so much for taking care of me! God bless your heart !!

Tameka and Macey were efficient, friendly and thorough when it came to scheduling my appointment and verifying my insurance information. Shaquitta was an angel, constantly asking if I was okay or needed anything which eased my anxiety during my appointment - I was very, VERY, nervous. She also explained my aftercare in detail, letting me know that if I had any issues with my procedure to please call or text. Dr. Goodman, was courteous, professional, and personable. I’ve had plenty of root canals unfortunately. Dr. Goodman is excellent. He has a comforting and down to earth manner. He is proficient and explains everything that is being done. Also the procedure takes about 1/2 the time of my past experiences.His staff and assistants are also professional and very nice. I went to Southwest Endodontics this past Monday to have a Root Canal Procedure. I had really bad experiences with dentists, I even lost a teeth because of a Root Canal Procedure that was not done correctly. I told them about this, and that sometimes I get some anxiety related to the drill, pain, and having something done in my mouth. They understood completely, they made me feel really comfortable during the whole process, super friendly and professional. This was by far my best experience related to a dentist, I truly recommend them!

Two things that frighten almost everyone are snakes and root canals. Cannot offer advice on the matter of snakes, but if the need for a root canal presents itself, my recommendation is Dr. Ron Hill. I recently saw Dr. Hill for a root canal and was impressed with his approach and technique. There was minimal, if any discomfort during the procedure. The tooth pain I experienced prior, was immediately gone following. These people were so very kind to me. I was coming from out of town and ran into some severe weather which caused me to be running late. Tameka worked some magic with Dr. Hill’s schedule and arranged to get me in to see Dr. Hill just a little later in the afternoon thus saving me another 4 hour drive to Houston.Dr. Hill did some diagnostics and gave me a very thorough explanation of the situation and my options for treatment. As it turned out, he did not see a specific need for treatment at this time. Seriously? I suspect there are other doctors who are less scrupulous and would have taken advantage of the opportunity to do 3 root canals and generate the income associated with those root canals.Without reservation, I would highly recommend Dr. Hill and Southwest Endodontics.

This is my second root canal with Dr. Hill. He has an amazing staff! Front desk was extra friendly! Jessica set me up with x-rays and got the check in process going quickly. This root canal was the most painless one I have had yet. Dr. Hill is excellent about talking you through what’s happening during your procedure and regularly checks if you’re feeling any pain. I highly recommend him.

My girlfriend had to come here to get a root canal. The staff was very helpful and kind and they were very detailed in walking her through the process. Although I didnt get any work done to me, the Gentle Wave procedure looked to be a very simple yet very effective method for the root canal.

Dr. Ron Hill performed an apicoectomy avoiding the need for an extraction and implant. In about an hour my tooth was saved. For me, this is miracle dental surgery. Dr. Hill and staff are extremely competent and very easy to work with. I experienced minimal pain and discomfort.

Any time that i have any major dental surgeries which I am glad to say is no longer, i trust southwest Endodontics with it! Never feel anything and i feel well taken care of !

I was referred to this office by my dentist since everything is closed due to the Rona. I must say i almost canceled the appointment with fear of having to get a root canal due but his staff so super friendly, very professional, answered all my questions (and i had a ton) but also made the environment feel welcoming.
