I recommended this HMI, I went in to have a CT scan and my techs, Reggie and Sofia, were amazing Tech! Very friendly and they explained all that was going to happen step by step! I appreciate Their calm and friendly nature they don’t want you to feel nervous during the time when I felt concerned about having this test.Friendly Staff!

Very unprofessional medical operation. Ive had upwards of half a dozen ultrasounds due to my diagnosis; each lasted around thirty minutes. The ultrasound performed here lasted 5 minutes tops and required me to give them a concerning amount of specific direction. Then they decided to charge me $30 more than the quoted price for 1/6 of the service. Staff was pleasant so they get an extra star.

I have been going to HMI for many years. The place is a trip! There are beautiful quartz crystals everywhere, and it just has a cool feeling to it. Today, I had two MRIs and my specialist was Momo. He took very good care of me, and I highly recommend him. He really went the extra mile for me, and I greatly appreciate that. Going the extra mile isnt something you see very often in medicine.

First and foremost, the aesthetics of the outer courtyard were very relaxing, and its the same on the inside.Jennifer was very kind, and helpful.I went for an MRI, and honestly was surprised at how quick they were, while making sure everything was still done properly, and I was comfortable.If I ever had to go back, it would definitely be the Richmond location.

They will tell you before the procedure that your insurance covers everything and your out of pocket cost is 0$. Then send you a bill a moth later for 500$ saying oh we made a mistake with the initial estimate. I dont know if they made a mistake or wanted to scam me but DO NOT BELIEVE THEM!!

Very friendly front desk staff. Super easy to book appointment (the facility does all the insurance pre-authorization etc for you so its hastle free). They also will send your results directly to your doctor. The MRI machine is slightly open on sides so you feel less claustrophobic.

I want to sincerely thank Miss Shaundra Khang - MRI specialist for the way she handled herself during my MRI. She literally explained every detail including the time it would take and how she would prepare me for the process also making sure I was completely at ease and all my concerns were answer to my satisfaction. I just had my first MRI here. It’s a really nice building and the staff was friendly. Haide, my MRI tech, was very reassuring and attentive, answering my questions and addressing my concerns.

Dr. Randall Stenoien was absolutely the best. I had been thru one incredibly painful failed FNA thyroid biopsy. Dr. Stenoien was super kind, efficient, and I literally felt nothing. Super grateful to the kind staff that was in there w/him too. Highly recommend this facility!

Being claustrophobic, and needing an MRI on my head is an ordinal in itself. They made sure I was comfortable at every step of the process, so that I stayed calm. the tech even talked to me throughout the process to make sure I knew how long I had on each set. My only problem is that I got too comfortable that I kept falling asleep. Great staff and relaxing environment.

The nurses at the front desk were totally rude a racial...The price was not what we were originally told and they wouldnt lwt me sit with my daughter.Even when she was crying..I dont reccomend them at all.Disgraceful place .with all conserned..first they said i could stay for the ultra dound but once my payment was made they sent me out into the heat to wait for my daughter..Snd wiuld not refund my money or make a different appointment at a different location.

Ive been using this facility for long time. However, i have two bad experiences, once with AZZI and once with VIRI in two different occasions. Both Azzi and Viri had attitude and were acting rude and aggressive. I think its time to reconsider about this facility.

From now on this will be my go to place if I need any testing. Have been before and has always been good, but this last time, the day before Christmas, was beyond excellent. I had an ultrasound on my legs. Azi was the best technician, friendly, and was able to talk to me during the entire process making this a very calm, good experience. So thankful for friendliness not found in any hospitals. Thank you Azi, Happy Holidays

The staff was very friendly and adhered to social distancing guidelines. I was able to fill out my paperwork online so when I arrived I was in and out. The place was clean and there was plenty of space to maintain 6 feet of distance from one another.

This was my third visit to this clinic. Every time, the Front Desk people are always cheerful, helpful, friendly, and polite. The technicians are skilled, friendly, and very kind. For all of my visits, the temperature has been comfortable, and there is plenty to keep you occupied while you wait. Really, I enjoyed my visits to this clinic for everything from being good and friendly people, to having an interesting and eclectic decor.TL:DR - Having people so skilled at doing their jobs makes my visits pleasant and worry free.

Person who did my MRI very inconsiderate, rude, unprofessional all throughout the procedure. Complained she had a very busy schedule and had to do the MRI now! Felt rushed all throughout. Never going back!

I had a MRI on my neck here at Houston Medical Imaging and to be honest, it was great and relaxing. Abbie, the MRI specialist, insured me that my time would be short and made sure I was comfortable through the entire process. I was really pleased to find out it was only 25 minutes long, rather than 3hrs unlike the one i went to before. Overall, very friendly and great hospitality from the staff. Would highly recommend for an MRI.

I went in this morning for an MRI. Jennifer C. at the front desk was friendly and efficient. She greeted me upon my arrival, gave me the paperwork to fill out, and went over everything I needed to know. Heidi, the MRI tech was super friendly and knowledgeable of her job. I was in and out in under 30 minutes. Great place and great staff!

Excellent service. I want to give praise to Shay for contacting me and informing me on 10/10/19 that the authorization was approved by the insurance. I also want to include tech Russel who did my scan. He was friendly and professional. He explained that this scan is different compared to a standing up. Needed decent pricing for an MRI. Went to Houston Medical Imaging on E Walnut St. in Pearland. Was stupendously worth it. The ladies there were super nice, took care of me and I even got to jam while having it done. Wow, how technology has changed. Jennifer the tech was absolutely very sweet. I recommended this place to all my co-workers and more. Definitely will go back when I need another. Thank you ladies. Id give you 10 star if I could. :-)

Front desk staff on the first floor was nice. However, the radiologists or radiology technicians were rude. I let it slide and chalked it up to the masks and it being late in the day. But, on top of that they made me undress in the wrong room, didn’t know how to adjust the bed for my procedure, and did the wrong procedure. It took two weeks for my doctor to get the results, which was just a letter without the images they took. Now I have to go back, never again to Houston Medical Imaging, to get the correct testing my doctor requested done.

Went there this morning with a 11:15 appointment. I arrived early and they took me right away. Front desk was great!! Technicians were very professional and I felt at ease the whole time. THE DOCTOR READ IT INCORRECTLY. WRONG ORGAN.THEY READ IT WRONG MANY YEARS IN A ROW. NOT JUST 1 YEAR. WENT TO ANOTHER FACILITY THAT READ IT CORRECTLY AND REPORTED THE ERROR.

In and Out with little to no waiting with the exception of my nuclear injection.Shay is Billing and Insurance Claims is awesome and very helpful with explaining everything.Phlebotomist was friendly when putting IV in.Anthony who gave me the Nuclear Dye and did the Imaging was awesome. New Machines used made the Imaging a lot less uncomfortable.Front desk girls were nice and helpful.Parking was easy and safe.No complaints here.

I highly recommend Houston Medical Imaging! I recently had to have a CT scan due to a sports injury and was having difficulty finding a place open on a Saturday besides the emergency room. Laura was so kind when scheduling me and was able to fit me in last minute, and Joanna and Russell at the Richmond location were amazing - they got my paperwork processed quickly and before I knew it Russell was calling my name to come back. I wasnt even there an hour. They are affordable and great to work with. Hopefully I wont have anymore injuries, but if I do - Ill definitely be back here!

Had an MRI done on my back and the experience was excellent. My tech was Nargis and she went above and beyond to make me comfortable in what is often an unsettling experience. She deserves the highest praise.

Ive had three scans over the course of the past couple of years. Staff working their Richmond location are friendly and efficient. However, Ive found errors and/or omissions on two out of three of the test reports Ive received. They promptly issued an amendment of one report, but the second error I pointed out to them has yet to be addressed. It gives one pause as to the validity of the findings of the report in general.

I have been to this place several times over the past 10+ years both for myself and my special needs son. The staff, especially Mohammed, are always so polite and helpful and make the testing as comfortable as possible. Will never hesitate going back if needed.

I can’t imagine giving HOUSTON Imaging anything other than 5 stars. I’ve been there three or four times and have always had a good experience. It’s convenient, the staff is professional and knowledgeable and you get your results quickly. I usually request Pi, but I feel all the techs are experienced and professional .

All staff were great! Maria, Mayra, LaShawn and Megan all made my MRI pleasant. Rachel was particularly helpful with insurance!

Edited Review, 1.4.2018 - The doctor called me one day after posting this review to explain the issues I had. He reviewed my visit with me, and apologized for the issues I had getting in touch with the billing department. He also notified my about my new balance, which is significantly lower. It means a lot for the doctor to take the time to call me and help me with the issues I was having.My insurance provider recommended this location because they were an in-network provider, so I decided to give them a try. My ultrasound went OK, at best. The technician was new, and had to call in her boss to complete the ultrasound for a second time. I paid up-front, in-full for my service. I even called the location before my appointment to find out the price. I also cleared this price with my insurance company. One month later, I received a bill for more than what I paid for at my visit. Ive been trying to get in touch with the office for almost a week now, and no one will return my call. My insurance company is also assisting me, and they havent been able to get in touch with them either. Im extremely disappointed with the service Im receiving. If I end up having to pay the second bill, it would have been cheaper to go to my out-of-network option that I turned down.

I set up an appointment to do an exam... the day before the exam they call me and tell me they don’t accept my insurance. Now I don’t have a problem with them not accepting my insurance, my problem was that was the last day I was able to the This exam and they had my paperwork for 2 weeks... needles to say I would never be scheduling or referring anyone to this business.

Everyone there is kind and understanding. Thank you Mo Mo for the comfort you provided. You are the best! I will never go anywhere else for an MRI.

I had an MRI done today. The front desk staff was super nice. Momo my MRI technician was wonderful. He made me feel comfortable as he knew I am claustrophobic.

Our patient was in a wheel chair when she had 3 images taken on Thursday, Dec 26, 2019 at the Richmond location. The news was not great, but, we received the results the same day! Shaundra and Nargis were EXTREMELY helpful with our 78 year old cousin & we highly recommend this location! Thank you!

I was searching for an OPEN MRI. I found Houston Medical Imaging. I was still nervous about the whole thing but the technician MOMO really talked me through it and I really did feel better. He was so calming! The administrative assistant at the front desk Monica was also very helpful and welcoming! I will definitely go back to HMI because of the staff and the fact that they have the OPEN MRI. Makes a huge difference!

I was in yesterday for a bone CT scan. Yesenia was very pleasant and helpful in getting me checked in. Anthony did the test. He explained everything as we went along. I was in and out in a very short timeframe. It was an excellent experience.

I have been going to Houston Medical Imaging for the past 10 years. I get my mammograms done there because the prices have been really good. I also had an MRI and ultrasound done there too. The best thing about this place is I am in and out... I dont have to wait forever in the waiting room...and the people who work there are amazing.

I have a ultrasounds done here. The service by the medical staff has been beyond excellent! Before I came to this imaging center I called several other facility for ultrasound, they are either take a days on the waiting list or check insurance never call back. However this imaging center on 3310 Richmond Ave. staff really helps me a lot for check my insurance, help me call my doctor for unclear order. Explains procedures step by step.Thank you for taking such good care of me!!

Ive been to this office twice recently. Once for X-rays and the latest for MRIs. Both times Ive been greeted promptly and helped immediately by friendly folks behind the front desk, Laura the first visit and Yesenia today. The technicians have been great as well. I hope I dont have to be a return customer, but if I do, Im confident Ill have a good experience.

The staff at this particular HMI location is simply amazing! Laura B & Maria L, who check in each client, go above & beyond to insure that each & every person who walks in this office is comfortable with their testing. Laura B. has been extremely beneficial in ensuring that my reports are expedited, & CDs are ready. Lately, I’ve been there more than I’d prefer, but Laura B. always makes me feel comfortable. Maria, who is also at the front desk, is very pleasant, too. It’s refreshing to have welcoming staff who listen & are helpful, especially in this type of situation.

I had a test done in 2015. I was assured that what I was paying was the final bill and then got a $200+ bill in the mail. I paid it. When I had the same test a year later I specifically asked if I would be getting any other bill like report interpretation and was assured that I would not and the amount quoted was all inclusive. The lady said she had double checked. I asked her again when I was making the payment. And now I have another $240 bill from radiology. When I called the billing department I was asked to talk to the location and the location connected me back to the billing department. I was also advised to read the fine print. This is unfair business practice and is akin to cheating. Thankfully there are alternatives in Houston. Never going back.P.S. I wish google allowed negative stars.

I went to HMI to get my spine MRI.Scheduling was easy on the phone.Staff are so nice and professional, waiting time less than 10 minutes, and I got my scans in less than 25 minutes.The place is really clean, organized and with a beautiful fountain at the entrance.Totally satisfied with my experience there.

Poor service & questionable billing practices. I went to Houston Medical Imaging for a CT scan that was scheduled by my primary doctor. I called the day before to confirm pricing and was given an amount just under $200. When I showed up the next day the price was just under $400. When asked why the price was different then what I was told the day before, no one could answer the question or cared enough to help find out.After waiting and hour and fifteen minutes past my scheduled appointment time, I was finally called back for the CT Scan. The nurse was very nice. She was the only part about the experience that was good. After finishing up I asked for the CD of the images. I was told it would be 15 minutes, however, after waiting 30 minutes I finally decided to leave because the CD was still not ready.After all this I received a bill in the mail for an additional $60 because they failed to mention the bill I paid at the office was only an estimate. I called and spoke to the manager about the bill and he hurried me off the phone while I was trying to tell him about my experience, offering no help.I would strongly advise looking at other options besides Houston Medical Imaging.

I went in to have two MRIs done, cervical and thoracic. I’ve never had an MRI done so I wasn’t sure what to expect. After getting checked in, and had my IV done by Shaundra (that was PAINLESS) to have the contrast, I then entered the room to get situated for the MRI. I thought this would be easy......they started sliding the bed into the MRI and I had a panic attack! I asked to be removed which they did. Shaundra and Nargis were very comforting and tried several things to make the experience better. I drove alone so Valium wasn’t an option at that point. They helped me through the process and I was finally able to sit for an hour and a half to get both MRI’s done. Thank you ladies!!!

Today I had a scheduled appointment for x-ray work and I arrived 2 hours early. I was seen within 35 minutes of coming to check in for paperwork. The front desk staff were courteous, the x-ray technician was kind and professional. The only thing I give a negative is not to the clinic but to incoming patients. Instead of sitting in the available seats, they choose to stand and block the exit.

After traveling from Port Arthur and surprised the traffic was clear all the way I arrived quite a bit early. The staff worked with me and got me in and out swiftly. Everyone there that I came in contact with was extremely courteous and i would use them again.

My 12 year-old Ellie had an MRI of her spine there. Very easy to park. The staff (especially MoMo) was very friendly. We did not have any wait time. MoMo explained the procedure to my daughter and put her at ease. I would definitely recommend this place.

I had the first MRI in my life today, Shaundra and Haide were professional, patience, polite and made the process bearable. I would like to thanks these ladies so much...the MRI was 45 mins. Job well done!!!

The staff was extremely kind and helpful. My test was done thoroughly and the results were sent to my physician without trouble. The price was less than one-tenth of what the hospital conglomerate was going to rob me of. I highly recommend HMI.Update: I was back at HMI for a follow-up. My experience was again pleasant.

Great facility! Innovative Radiology (Some of the best Sub-speciality Radiologist in Houston) read and operate this facility. They maintain great cutting edge equipment and are Meaningful-Use compliant! Outpatient Imaging centers not affiliated with hospitals are 4-5 times cheaper with faster turnaround and the same or better care. If you need medical imaging in Houston this is the place to go.
