I’ve been seeing Dr. Folb for a few years now after bouncing around trying to find an endocrinologist that didn’t treat me like a text book case. Dr. Folb is the only doctor that has been able to get my Hashimoto’s Hypothyroidism under control. She has performed many FNA’s on a nodule on my thyroid with little to no pain at all. One of my favorite things about her is that she treats me like more than a patient, she talks to me in terms that I understand and doesn’t make me feel inadequate. While she is obviously a doctor, she doesn’t remind you of that fact the way some doctors do. She is willing to sit beside you as an equal and have a conversation about your health.

I have not had a problem with Dr. Folb or any of her medical staff, however, I agree with all of the comments made here about the poor service as it relates to anyone answering your phone call. If any improvements have been made as the owner states, I have not experienced them. My calls always go to voice mail and no one ever calls me back. It is very frustrating to deal with this office.

I think she is an outstanding doctor. She is very thorough and explains things in detail, which I appreciated. I would recommend her to anyone!!

I do not recommend seeing Dr. Folb. My father and I have adrenal issues. She ordered some tests for my father and no one cared to call him with his results. We decided to give her another chance and I saw her with him the next time. She abruptly came in the room and immediately said I didn’t have high cortisol (which is what my labs said) and that it was medication making it show high. She assumed this without even talking to me first. She ordered me labs of her own to make sure. The nurse called a few weeks later asking if they tested me for something else that she didn’t even order which made me lose confidence. They never called me with my cortisol results. I figured my levels were normal and another doctor prescribed me a steroid (I thought it was fine since she so confidently claimed my levels weren’t really high). I ended up having heart palpitations VERY often throughout the day and was shaking uncontrollably. I had my records pulled at the hospital I got my blood drawn at and my levels were 20+ over the normal range. I found this VERY unprofessional and negligent on Dr. Folb and her staffs part. I will never go back and highly suggest never seeing Dr. Folb. Do yourself a favor and find a doctor that actually cares.

Dr. Folb is wonderful. I felt at ease the moment she walked in the room. Very personable and knowledgeable. I am so glad to have found such a caring doctor. The office is large and comfortable. I prefer going there than to the hectic medical center any day! Valet parking was a huge plus.

AVOID THIS OFFICE. Incredibly difficult to deal with; phone line goes to voicemail, good luck getting a timely return call (or return call at all). Took us a month of trying to book first appt with repeated referrals and involvement from GP, kept getting kicked back to the incompetent receptionist who isn’t qualified to determine medical necessity.Find another doctor’s office and spare yourself the process.**response to owner** I called your office the day I posted this review to let them know my concerns; never received a return phone call or response besides the generic one you posted below to my review and others.My husband *finally* has an appointment with another endocrinologist, who got us in within 2 weeks. Unfortunately the back-and-forth with your office set us back a month in getting appropriate medical care.As to your feedback; if you know your office has a problem (which you clearly do, based on the other reviews citing problems with response times and your “imminent change to receptionist”), the answer is not hard - add a 2nd person to answer phone calls or just RETURN CALLS AND VOICEMAILS IN A TIMELY MANNER... like the rest of the world does. Hiding behind a new phone system is a lousy excuse that leaves current and prospective patients, with real issues they need resolved, holding the bag. Shame on you.

I was referred to Dr Folb by my primary care provider. I called her office 4 times in a 2 week period, initially leaving a message with a staff member who reported her scheduler was out but would return my call the following day. When that didn’t happen, I left 2 more voicemails for the scheduler. When I never heard back from her, I called and left a voicemail on her nurse’s line. I never received a single return call from anyone. She may be the best doctor in the world, but the hassle of dealing with reaching her office would never be worth it.

Great Dr. Helped me with Hashimoto and has great bedside manner!

Sooooo lucky I found Dr. Folb, she is amazing. Has a great attitude with patients, and the nurses that work with her even mention how nice she is to work with.

Horrible experience with this Doctor. I don’t recommend her to anyone.

CALL MD OFFICE AND CANNOT GET THROUGH. IT RINGS AND THEN HANGS UP; NOT EVEN ABLE TO LEAVE A MESSAGE. VERY FRUSTRATING.
