This was my first time at a dermatology office and my experience was wonderful. Since this was my first time, I did some research, and requested to see Diana Chou after reading some really good reviews about her and she was fantastic. She made me feel really comfortable and explained everything very clearly during my appointment. I would highly recommend her and will definitely be seeing her again!

ZERO STARSDr. Chou is the only positive--she was sweet and mindful of care.Office staff is cold and borderline rude with zero accountability. Its been months with two visits, bloodwork (NO COMMUNICATION), and after the second visit the prescribed medication has still not made it to the pharmacy. Not to mention being left on hold for 7 minutes to only be disconnected when they then apparently closed for lunch???? Who knows? I DO NOT RECOMMEND, unless you enjoy a lack of respect and a total waste of time and money.

The staff is very professional and prompt. My appointment always starts on time. My dermatologist always explains to me exactly what’s going on and makes me feel very comfortable. I will definitely recommend this to anyone that needs a dermatologist. Highly recommended

A horrible doctors office that doesnt care about their patients. Ive called multiple times today to cancel an appointment that I have but no one is picking up. Also when I go I have to pay $100 to see the doctor for 2 minutes. She gives me no explanation on the medication Im taking at all. She doesnt even write my prescription form. Someone else does it. I tried to respect canceling 24 hours before an appointment like asked but too bad. You will never see me there again. Ill find a different office that actually respected their patients.

This has been as far the worst doctor service I have ever received!!! Started receiving service and scheduled treatment at the end of October 2020. During the month of November 2020 I called every week for follow-up on future treatment, mostly leaving messages with at most 2 replies. Today I called again to confirm if my results arrived only to be told the Cypress Location has permanently closed operations. This is un ethical and un professional!!!

This dermatology is the best! Donna is great and always makes sure I’m comfortable and lets me know exactly what I should and shouldn’t feel. She’s very gentle and treats my skin with great care! I’ve had amazing results with her 😁Also Jennifer is very good with helping me understand what procedures I’m going to get! She takes her time at explaining what will be going on and explains every detail. Great experience overall with both!

Wonderful experience! The staff was friendly and prompt. Dr. Robare was able to see me rather quickly, as I had become very concerned with a recent breakout. Dr. Robare was thorough with her explanation of the cause of the breakout as well as my treatment plan. I was able to ask questions without feeling rushed (plus theyre open and accepting patients during Covid-19!) and she made sure I was fully informed about my condition/medication before leaving my appointment! Dr. Robares medical staff/assistant(s) were so nice and knowledgeable about their practice. (Kris was my medical assistant for my appointment - she was the sweetest!) If youre having skin concerns, I definitely recommend seeing Dr. Robare!

Best dermatologist in Houston. I had Mohs surgery at the Cypress office and couldnt be happier. The wound care after the surgery has been fantastic with Kris, Leslie and Megan. Highly recommended

Extremely disappointed. The doctor barely spent 2 minutes with me without explaining the treatment plan. I have been trying to reach the doctor or an assistant to help answer my questions and the specific problems I encountered with the treatment soon after I started. I called 4 times in 3 days and explained my condition but they never answered back. I will be going to another place where I may get more respectful service.

Recently took my Mom to the Cypress location to see Dr. Sra as a cash patient since she is uninsured. After waiting 10 min due to Covid and the social isolation, she spent a whooping 5 min with her! She refused to give her a prescription for her symptoms instead wrote down the diagnosis and over the counter med she should buy. It was pretty much a WHAM BAM THANK YOU MAAM kind of appt. She showed no empathy or personal interest in the patient but of course her pocket was $130 richer! I would not recommend seeing her to anyone.

Less than a year ago I came here to treat my acne they were going to put me on Accutane, and they gave me a bottle where I could provide a urine sample. Few days pass I get my prescription, and I get severe headaches. Made my face red and I never experienced a headache like this it might have been a migraine. My head was exploding only time I didnt feel the pressure was when I was sleeping. I was very sensitive to light and noise. I went to my doctor and told him what I was feeling and my prescriptions for acne. He turned and told me this is not even for acne these pills are urinary traction infection.The doctor that prescribed me the pills she left to establish her practice. I dont want to discredit this location. Just beware and make sure the medications you are taking are safe.

Saw doctor Audra Clos today for the first time 8/9/18, and had an amazing experience! Everything from the awesome staff in the front and the office was clean! She was warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and made me feel comfortable. She explained everything very well and took amazing care of me! I definitely recommend her if you need a dermatologist in the cypress area!

Im very happy with Dr. Sra and the nurses and other staff members are friendly and helpful. After checking in, Ive never had to wait more than 10 mins to be called in and set up in an exam room. Once in exam room, my wait for Dr. Sra has been less than 5 mins every time.

HOUSTON SKIN ASSOCIATES what can i say! I had my lip filler done by Dr. Robare and she was amazing! She knew exactly what i wanted and also talks you through everything as she does the procedure. The office was clean and comforting. The STAFF are so friendly and welcoming! Smiles as soon as you walk through the door and it stays that way until you walk out the door. I would highly recommend Houston Skin Associates for anyone looking for a positive and super friendly doctors office to visit for medical or cosmetic procedures or even if your needing a skin check!

You will never reach them over the phone and when you walk in, the girls at the front desk are really nice, but they look bored and the phone never rings.I made an appointment online because I couldnt reach them and when I got there I wasnt scheduled.

Granted insurance these days is not the greatest. I went in knowing of the fee of the office visit. I paid in the beginning and was told I would have to pay for services preformed in the office. I had a bump that they wanted to remove, but chose not to get it removed. I go to checkout and I was charged more money, because I was a humira patient, by the way that medication was put on hold because I have been off of it for a little over a month.I was put on hold due to not seeing any results. The total time in the office was literally 10 minutes. How am I a humira patient and did not get a refill prescription for it. This is a shady practice to me. There explanation is I may ask for it later.

Absolutely the best dermatologist I have been too!!! My son has horrible eczema and we were prescribed dozens of ointments from another doctor and Dr. Sra prescribed us a cream/ointment that worked within a day! I am so happy that I chose Houston Skin associates Cypress!!

They never answer the phone. It’s impossible for the customer to be the priority when you have to call several times and leave voicemails. This is a reoccurring issue that should be addressed. The dermatologists there are great and professional but unfortunately customer service starts with the front desk and the front desk makes this office look bad.

They made me wait over an hour for my appointment (with no warning or apology) and wanted me to continue to wait for an unknown amount of time, so I left.I scheduled my appointment for 2:20 via ZocDoc. I showed up at 2 PM (20 minutes early) knowing that there would be new patient paperwork. Paperwork is submitted a little after 2:10. 2:20 passes. 2:30 passes. 3 PM passes. I approached the front desk to ask what is going on and how much longer I will have to wait. The receptionist leaves for a few minutes when she returns tell me that my doctor is running a little behind. How is over an hour a little behind?? She told me that they had no idea when she would be available for my appointment, so little idea that they couldnt even roughly estimate.I left. I filed complaints with ZocDoc, etc, even with my credit card company for no services rendered. Ridiculous.

You are lucky if they spend more than 2 minutes on you. They know everything and dont really need to listen to you. If they diagnose it wrong in those 2 minutes, you can always come back (and give them more business).Im not worried about the wait time but if you wait 45 mins for your appointment, the doc should spend some time and listen to you rather than rushing through.

Friendly, Knowledgeable staff explained all procedures before start of procedure. I like that all Botox and Juvaderm shots were done by Dr. They also do skincare procedures which I love.Very satisfied client and my 83 yr old Dad has gone and husband also for mole annual checkup. I will definitely be going back.

** First impressions on first visit**I hate doctors, but I can honestly say that DIANA CHOU was AMAZING!!!!! She was thorough and listened to all of my concerns. I have sever eczema and came in after I had let my skin get really bad. She called in additional doctors to confirm her thoughts and even after the appointment I received two calls to discuss additional plans their team had made to my treatment plan. All together I think I had someone in the room with me discussing my concerns, issues and treatment plans. I wish they took my daughters insurance because this office (n based on this visit) would be my forever Derm. Thank you for not dismissing me and my concerns, and for reassuring me that there a treatment plan for my comfort is a priority. That is very difficult to find.

I AM SO GRATEFUL TO DR. SAMANTHA ROBARE AND HOUSTON SKIN ASSOCIATES. SHE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLY. I WAS VERY SURPRISED, USUALLY WHEN I GO TO THE DOCTORS IT SEEMS LIKE I SIT IN THE WAITING ROOM FOR AN HOUR BEFORE I AM CALLED, JUST TO SIT ANOTHER 15 MINUTES IN THE ROOM WAITING FOR THE DR. & ONCE THE DR. FINALLY SEES YOU, YOU HAVE LIKE 60 SECONDS TO SPEAK TO HIM BEFORE THE DR. IS ON TO THE NEXT ONE...BUT THAT MOST DEFINITELY WAS NOT THE CASE. I SAT IN THE WAITING ROOM FOR AT MOST 4 MINUTES BEFORE THEY CALLED MY NAME. ONCE I WAS IN THE ROOM I SPOKE TO DR. ROBARES ASSISTANT WHO I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH. IT TOOK ME ABOUT 10 MINUTES TO TELL HER WHY I WAS THERE, SHE LEFT THE ROOM (FOR NO MORE THAN FOUR MINUTES)TO GET DR. ROBARE & MANAGED WITHIN THAT TIME TO GIVE HER THE FULL BREAKDOWN. SHE ACTUALLY LISTENED TO THE PROBLEMS I WAS HAVING WITH MY SKIN & SPOKE TO ME ABOUT EACH OF THEM. Went to Houston Skin Associate’s Cypress office. The staff and Dr Clos were extremely professional, friendly and caring. Had very little wait time, the staff made our brief stay as comfortable as possible. I’m giving them a two star JUST BECAUSE Dr Robare and her assistant are good listeners. That’s a pro.Cons:1. They charge you for anything that happens in the office. That’s beside the $$ u pay before u enter.2. Slowww customer service3. I’ve been trying to get my cream the past week but my insurance doesn’t cover so I’ve been calling and till now they didn’t send another prescription to the pharmacy.4. She has a very rude tone when she was speaking with me regarding my questions and sounded like she didnt really want to assist me at all! My daughter had a 3:30pm appointment, but we fought tough traffic on 290 on a busy Friday afternoon to get there early and check in at 3:10pm. I gave the young lady at the front desk my daughters name and appointment time, and first and only thing out of her mouth was $60 co-pay?. Thought it was awkward, but didnt say anything because we are all tired at that time of pay. We patiently waited in the lobby until 3:45pm , but saw that everyone in lobby was already served and gone . . . Even some that came in after us. So I asked the front desk person to check on our daughters appointment. She came back a couple of minutes later to say that there was 2 others in front of us. At 4:00pm I decided we had enough when when people walking in at 3:50pm were taken in front of us. I was upset. I told the front desk person that weve had enough waiting and asked for a refund. She did exactly that and handed me the receipt. I guess she was upset too. There was no attempt by any staff member to apologize for inconvenience or that they were running behind schedule or anything. Not a good experience. I guess I shouldnt be surprised because when I checked the reviews after my experience, I found that there were already as much negative reviews as there were positive ones.

Scam All the wayThis scam company want us to pay because they lie to us about the ir network after seeing my dad 3 times and submitting claim to the insurance now they are claiming that we need to pay them just because they fail to give us the correct information about insurance.I try to call them now multiple time and they have an attitude about it.

The doctors at this office spend very little time with you and appear to be our for money more than treating patients. I went in to have a mole looked at and was charged $75 (maybe more) for the dr to look at it for literally less than 5 seconds. She said it was a big skin tag and quoted me $85 to remove and told me Id have to schedule another appointment to have it removed and that it was nothing dangerous. When I called back to schedule to have it removed, they told me that I would have to come in and pay for another consultation and then book ANOTHER time to come back in again to have it removed since it was a different calendar year (I went in at the end of 2018). I told them that reason I had waited 3 months to schedule was because its hard for me to get off of work. I asked them if I would have to pay another visit for a 3 second peak and then another $85 (as quoted before) to have it removed at a 3rd visit and they said yes. I will go to another dermatologist that takes more than a few seconds with their patients and is out for more than multiple office visit payments. I wish I had read the other reviews before positing this one. I could have learned from others that were saying the same.

Horrible customer service. Tried making an appointment, they didn’t answer after several tries I left a message. Four days after and didn’t get a call back. Went online and made the appointment just to get an e-mail the day after saying that they cancel my appointment. Kept calling until I finally got somebody to answer and the lady who answer the phone was extremely rude!!!!

I became a patient of Dr. Tyring two years ago at the Museum District location because my cousin said, Hes the absolute best. He has a dry personality.. not much of a talker.. but was very quick & direct with his examination. The medical assistant who brought me back & assisted with the exam was nice though. I was just happy he was able to diagnose my issue & help me move on with my life. The overall experience was just alright to me so I didnt feel the need to go back for my follow-up.It wasnt until this summer that I decided to go again because a new skin issue arose. A friend of mine highly recommended Dr. Robare & I was ecstatic to know that she worked at the location right by my house. I had to see her a couple times because my situation was so severe. Each time I went she was very thorough & showed so much empathy towards me. The medical assistant, Laura, was also extremely sweet & took her time to listen to my concerns. Dr. Robare showed concern for my well-being & took every diagnosis into consideration. Its been one month since she last treated me & my skin has improved SO MUCH. I plan on seeing her again soon just to make sure everything is in the clear. Im very grateful for what shes done for me.

Very unprofessional..I was suppose to have a small bump removed and I was not notify that I would have a 20% deductible to pay. I didnt mind paying but, should have been notified of the amount before my procedure. Dr. Campbell seem not bother and it was upsetting bc I had to miss work for work I didnt get done.

Dr. Campbell was great. When she left I was forced to give my phone, email, text info to something called Zacdoc. When she left Zacdoc sent me hourly email, text and voice mail reminders of my five pm appointment on Monday with her replacement. When I arrived at 290 and 6 location the receptionist informed me that the Dr. I was to see was in Texas City. That would be a 2 1/2 hour trip. I simply cancelled the whole mess. They must be incompetent if they cannot tell you ahead of time where to go.

Dr. stephen tyring is a bad doctor, because my wife had appointment last June 17 and lasted only three minutes consultation, the doctor just looked at what I had my wife on her skin and sent a drug without knowing what it was I had actually. In conclusion the drug cost nearly $ 400 and 1 week my wife had completely burned skin and burns a lot, did not resolve your problem and created another problem.

I loved Dr. Campbell, but she is no longer there. A few years back, Dr. Stout put my child on a topical steroid, because I brought her in with a itchy scalp. I was very upset when I found out she had lice! I will not go back to her. I get very upset when doctors just give you a steroid cause they dont know whats wrong with you.

I have a scheduled and confirmed appointment at this location, which was made on Wednesday, May the 23rd. I am sitting outside the location (which clearly states they are open on Saturday) and the office is closed, not a person in sight! I was not notified or informed of any changes. Needless to say how unprofessional this is! And what a waste of time!

The doctors here do not care about you and your problems. They literally rush you out the office and prescribe you anything without really examining your skin . My doctor only addressed one of the issues that I had and perscribed me medication that was not in network with my insurance after specifically telling her that I want a medication my insurance will cover. The reason being because this is the 2nd time I came to this office and they perscribed me medication that was not covered. Now I need to get in touch with someone at this office and of course no one answers and I will be surprised if someone gives me a call back. If anyone knows a deremotologist who is really good please let me know because I am looking for a new one. Thank you.

During my 4 minute rushed exam, I was misdiagnosed and in pain for weeks. I believe if the doctor would have taken the time instead of trying to heard me through like cattle that wouldnt happened. The only reason why I did not give them one star is because I went back for an explanation and a second doctor diagnose me properly. Although it was two weeks and double the payment later.

I went in their for a small procedure. The doc was fine. After the procedure I was told I needed to take antibiotics. Never gave me a prescription. Called the next day to get a hold a of the person in charge of handling prescriptions but no answer. Well, in order to talk to a person you have to select 1 because that is new patient/appointment in other words $$$$$. Anyways i explained my situation and the woman said it should have been sent to your pharmacy. I told her I did not put down a pharmacy when I filled out the paperwork. Then she said let me look and said ok i sent out the prescription to your pharmacy, after I told her where to send it. I said ok. What am I picking up(name of drug)? She said let me look sir. Came back and said the doc did not prescribe you anything. I asked then what did you send to the pharmacy? You might find it hard to believe but that happened. Then I got transferred to head honcho type person. It goes to her VM, but she called me back. Very stern voice saying I understand you have some questions about your procedure what are they? I told her I dont have any questions about my procedure I just need to know about my antibiotics. She said the nurse said she gave you a bag but you left it in the room. I could have believed her and said, hey may be I did forget, but here is the thing I did not and after paying I went back to the room to ask her a few questions and waited in the waiting room for her and the doctor to come and answer some questions. Still no bag, usually docs and nurses are always checking if their patient got everything. Anyways as I am explaining to this head honcho lady she said sir Im not here to argue with you. When did I argue? I said maam Im not arguing, Im explaining to you my experience so that you understand. She laughs and says you are upset for no reason come and pick up the bag from the front desk. I was baffled at their level of customer service. I mean in this day and age. She kept talking over me and saying if you have any questions about the procedure and that I am arguing with her. I kept telling her Im not, this not how you treat people. BEWARE!!!!! Make sure get your bag of antibiotics and if you dont get it dont turn back and look keep walking.

I was originally diagnosed with eczema by Dr. Robare last year. I didnt return until the other day, because it had spread and gotten worse. She then re diagnosed me with Plaque Psoriasis and Psoriosis in my lower back and prescribed Otezla. I do like Dr. Robare even though she is very quick and in and out with her patients she does a good job with diagnosing. I was originally diagnosed with eczema because of the symptoms presenting at the time. When I came in there were new symptoms presenting and she was able to give the right diagnosis.
