Our whole family has been with Dr V for a few years, and we absolutely love it! She is always very patient and thorough, explains the details, and respects our feelings. Her staff is amazing too! All the visits are pleasant, our kids used to be scared by dental visits at other places and now are excited every time to go to Dr V’s office and talk to everybody there. Highly recommended. I need to first explain that its literally been years since I had seen a dentist due to a very bad experience I had while living in NY. It was enough to not look for another, my mistake of course. My wife and I had decided recently that we really needed to forget that experience amd get back to good dental hygiene practices. Well I cracked a tooth and absolutely needed to find a dentist in Houston...no more putting it off. I looked for a dentist that was fairly close and showed good reviews and fell under my insurance. I really liked what I heard about Healthy Smiles and Dr. V and contacted them. They were so understanding and got me in that day. Needless to say the tooth, back left molar, had to be extracted. After about a week my cheek had swollen up considerably and got infected, it was very painful. I contacted them and again they got me in that day to do whatever they could to help. Their understanding has impressed me considerably and I can say without a doubt that weve found our new lifelong dentist. Dr. V, Jessica and the rest of the staff have renewed my confidence and faith in dentists. If more dentists treated their patients like they did then less people would dread visiting the dentist. This is the best dentistry ever! I was helped with figuring out all of my insurance questions by Jessica and Michael, they were patient and very helpful. Ms. Laura was very cautious and kept informing me of everything as she did my cleaning and x-rays, and Dr. V was also very nice, quick (but not rushed), and helpful. The whole place is amazing!

I had a great experience today. I called the day before and was able to make an appointment. When I checked in, they gave me an iPad to fill in my information, which was very convenient. The entire staff was courteous and efficient. I was in and out for my first exam and a cleaning in about an hour. They offered a quick follow up for an issue that needs to be addressed and provided me with a treatment plan that included the prices, so I know what to expect. I highly recommend!

On the day I traveled from Berrien Springs, MI to Houston, TX, I realized I had cracked a back tooth. I located a dental office from a list of providers emailed to me by insurance company. I went in for a cleaning and to take care of a cavity and I gotta say it was one of the best experiences I have had at a dentist office. The atmosphere of the office is so calm that it makes the nerves go away. The staff is friendly and quick. Dr. V is a great dentist and very friendly which makes you feel calm despite being a little nervous from being at the dentist. Oh and the view from the chair you sit in is pretty amazing.

Great location, great staff. First visit and everything was what youd expect a 21st century dentistry to be. Only saw Dr Val for a few minutes cause it was just cleaning and then set up another appointment, but from first impressions - we were convinced enough to change dentists.The support staff knew their way around and I didnt feel like I needed the actual dentist for basic cleaning.They offer an inhouse payment for services like cleaning and its competitive certainly compared with our former dentist. Dr. Vlachakis, otherwise known as Dr. V, is honestly the best dentist that I have ever been to. She is incredibly thorough. I have had a cleaning (which she performs herself), a few cavities filled, and a crown redone by her. The cleaning was amazing, the cavity fillings never hurt, and the crown fits like a gem. Her staff is very nice and extremely professional. Healthy smiles dentistry is really an all around great practice. I recommend them to anyone.

Dr. Vlachakis is best dentist Ive ever been too. When I went to her I was having problems with gums. They hurt really bad and were causing me a lot of pain. Dr. V clean them very well and within a couple of days they were much better. Then she told me I had three wisdom teeth that needed to come out. I went in on a Thursday to get two of them pulled out. I was nervous about the procedure but Dr. V and her amazing staff made me feel right at home. Afterward I was able to drive home. I was in very little pain to much of my surprise! The next day all day long I was in no pain at all! I was totally shocked ! I would highly recommend anyone to go to her for dental treatment. She is the sweetest person ever and her staff members are amazing at what they do. And her dental office is very clean and up to date with all the latest Technology dental equipment. I promise you! You will not be disappointed! She will make your dental experience one you will never forget!!

I have had some bad experiences from Houston Dentists since moving here three years ago.My visit to healthy smiles was refreshing, every member of the staff was wonderful. I felt like I was at a dentist office who cares about the patient experience.A times in the past I felt like I was an opportunity bilk insurance providers at other offices in the area.

My 4 year old came in crying and immediately the staff made her feel welcome. Michael gave her an Ariel toothbrush and Dr V talked to her in a way only a mommy can usually do to calm her down. In no time, my daughter was laughing and cooperating. Great experience and nice office!

I had a dental emergency on a weekend with multiple chipped teeth. My friend referred me to Dr. Amy, whos office scheduled me first thing Monday morning. All of the staff was very attentive and extremely gentle with my mouth being sensitive. Dr. Amy made sure my mouth was numb during the procedure, and did a great job. I had a lot of people ask to see how my teeth looked after all the work done. Needless to say I was extremely satisfied with all the work done, no one could tell the difference from how my teeth looked before I need the work done. I did not have a great experience today. Dental hygienist was rough, sore gums after. The water pic was leaking, so I got soaked during my cleaning. I kept having to ask for breaks to wipe my face because water was flying. I moved the suction in my mouth several times to try and help. Not a good cleaning day.

Needed a new dentist in Houston after settling here from Europe and we came across Dr. Vlachakis practice. Great location with very well equipped facility. Neat place with a nice waiting area and a few patient chairs separated from each other for total privacy. Latest technology available in the office including digital imaging (for X-rays and local pictures), which could be discussed with the patient via a flat-screen monitor mounted on adjustable arm for convenience. Impressive view from a sky-scrapers 15th floor.Totally satisfied and Id recommend Dr.Vlachakis and her staff to my closest friends without any doubts.

I was convinced I would be met by a bitter woman who hated her patients and became a dentist because she was some kind of sadist. Thankfully, I was wrong. Dr. Vlachakis and her staff were wonderful. She took the time to figure out WHY I hated going to the dentist and molded my treatment to accommodate my discomfort. Unlike my previous dentist who gave everyone the same cookie-cutter treatment, the staff of Healthy Smiles saw to it that I felt like their only patient of the day.At my second appointment, about a month later, Dr. Vlachakis asked me about how my life was going, referring to several things that I had mentioned in passing while making smalltalk at my first appointment, proving that she pays attention to and cares about her patients. That kind of hospitality goes a long way and I now realize that I dont hate going to the dentist; I just hate every dentist Ive ever had before Dr. Vlachakis.
