Came in for a wisdom teeth removal after being referred by my regular dentist. I went in super scared and anxious about the whole process, but from the moment I walked through the door I felt like I was in good hands. From the woman at the front desk keeping it real with me about the procedure and calming my nerves, through the assistants and Dr. Tran himself, I felt like I was in good hands. I especially appreciated Dr. Tran patiently explaining my x-rays and helping me calm down for the procedure. And then it’s over before you know it! I don’t usually leave reviews, let alone good ones, but I felt compelled to give these folks the credit they’re due for showing how much they care for their patients.

This office is absolutely amazing. My first time there and the ladies at the desk and in the back are absolutely amazing. So sweet and gentle. The doctor is too. I’m looking forward to this being my new dentist home. I love professionalism and friendly atmosphere. Thank you all for a nice experience.

Just wanted to recommend Splendid dental/ Our kids dentist on Richmond Ave with Dr. Isabella Nguyen and her hygienist, Beatrice.My kid hates anything teeth related, she has high anxiety and after 3 other dentists we found the right one.They talk her through the steps for her cleaning- give prizes, and have TVs to watch during cleanings. Dr. Nguyen rotates through Splendid Dental locations including Meyerland.I previously had Delta Dental and now Cigna Dental Insurance and they took both.Dr. Isabella Nguyen and her hygienist, Beatrice are incredibly competent and have a great touch with kids, like my highly anxious one.Just wanted to share as I know how hard it is to find quality care for my child without it being a traumatic experience!

The people at this office were so wonderful! I hadn’t been to the dentist in 6 years so I went in for my first exam with a ton of anxiety. The front desk and assistants were so understanding and reassuring. They fully explained every step of the deep cleaning that I needed to have done and ensured that I was calm and pain-free through the entire process. Also, the finance department was wonderful with working with my insurance and explaining every charge. I will not go to any other dentist office in Houston. I would recommend to anyone!

Wonderful staff! I usually dread Doctors visit, but this is by far the best experience I have ever had at a dental care. Splendid Dental is exceptional. I have been with them for close to 6 months or even more. On both visits, the entire staff was very professional, caring and informative. Before every visit, my insurance was verified.From the X-rays to dental cleaning, Dr. Motamedi and his staff ensured that I was fully informed about the details of my recommended treatment and the alternatives. Billing can be overwhelming, but Trevor was always patient and very helpful. He made sure everything went smoothly. This shows how much they care about their work, and meeting the needs of patients.I would definitely recommend this place to anyone needing good dentalwork. :)

Very rarely do I leave a google review. This specific location was absolutely amazing and completely exceeded any expectations I had. From the front desk, dentist, hygienist to all the other staff working with me, each encounter was a positive experience. My entire life I have only went to the same dentist and I was skeptical of switching over. This place showed me how a proper dental care facility runs. Everything went smoothly - and the cleaning was so much faster than I thought. The staff explained what they were doing in a thorough manner and were genuinely kind. This was my first visit to the office and I was incredibly pleased with the entire experience. The front was very polite and accommodating. The hygienist did a very thorough job and the dentist was professional and knowledgeable. He answered all my concerns in a manner that I could understand. Warning - I had a bad experience and this is what would have helped if I would have known:Splendid Dental Care was on a list of in-network providers given to me by my insurance company so I thought they would be legit. What no-one tells you is that despite having a valid insurance, Splendid Dental will wait until you are sitting in the dental chair to come surprise you with a bill to sign. In other words,1) you will be expected to pay up-front for what your insurance will eventually pay them and, instead of you owing Splendid money, they will owe you money and you better be prepared to waste lots of time and effort in getting it back.2) There are two procedures that seem to me to be the real money-makers for Splendid Dental and I would watch out for and refuse outright in the future to save from needlessly spending $100 out-of-pocket. The first is coded as D4921, or gingival irrigation, and amounted to basically someone sloppily spraying 100 ml of saline in my mouth. $75 for this. The second is D1206 which insurance denies because I am older than 8 years of age. For $20 I got to swish Fluoride around in my mouth for 2 seconds before spitting it out. They dont even try billing insurance for the first I was told because they know it will be denied.3) I received my explanation of benefits from my insurance telling me I had to pay around $150 for my visit, but of course I already paid in excess of $300 because they bill up-front.If you have ever received a refund on a credit card before you know it takes about 15 seconds for them to fix a charge, but at Splendid Dental care I was told that they had to submit something to corporate and that it could take weeks. This, of course, is after trying to call on the phone and being hung up on, told that they are closed on weekdays that they are listed as open on their site, told that my explanation of benefits was not on file (though my insurance told me the exact date they received it), and having to spend hours on the phone with both my insurance and in person at Splendid Dental since no-one attends the phones. It has been almost a month after my visit and I have not been issued a refund.After doing a bit of research I learned that they are required to promptly refund what they owe you or they are in violation of their contract with insurance companies. So the first step is to contact the insurance company. If they do nothing the second step is to contact the insurance company fraud department. Then submit an health care fraud and abuse claim with the state. And I would definitely not pay with cash. With a credit card at least I have the option of contesting with my bank. All of this can be verified in doing some internet searching where others describe what to do.Good luck, and be careful!

Dr. Ramin and his staff are great! Everyone is very friendly. I decided to come here because it is close to home and they take my insurance. I do not regret making this decision. My teeth feel perfect and are well taken care of! I would definitely recommend coming here.

Great service, very professional. All the staff is very friendly and welcoming. Dentist and staff try to make you very comfortable and answer any questions and concerns. I have been coming to this location for a couple of years and have always had a good experience. They also offer deferred payment (installments) on big dental work so one doesnt have to pay it all at once.

Karla ensured that I was taken care of being that I had to wait a little longer for my scheduled appointment (which was no problem for me) but she made sure she apologized and provided the most high customer service resolving the issue with a small and valuable surprise at the end of my visit. I am a new patient here and I am loving it on my first visit!

Going to the dentist can cause some anxiety, but the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I went to 3 separate practices before choosing to stick with Splendid. If you go to this practice please check your bill! I went in for a deep cleaning and 3 filing repairs. I was told I needed to pay $700 out of pocket because the refused to take my secondary insurance. I was scheduled for the deep cleaning and paid the portion they claimed I owed, $300. They said they ran my primary insurance and that was my out of pocket. Not knowing better, I paid. Then they said they wanted to change one filing to a crown. The price for just the crown was $700 out of pocket. Needing to be reimbursed by my secondary, I scheduled that for another day. A month after the deep cleaning they still hadn’t submitted the bill to my primary so my secondary couldn’t reimburse me. When they finally submitted it, my insurance informed me that I was only supposed to be charged $100 out of pocket. The dental office didn’t even bother putting the disinfecting wash onto the bill they sent, assuming it wasn’t covered because in actuality they didn’t run my insurance. I was finally refunded the $200 they overcharged me (and $200 for my husband who they overcharged as well). I asked my insurance how much I would be charged for a crown, it was only $240. I scheduled my appointment for the crown and filings. When I arrived, they told me they forgot to inform me of some “labs” they needed to do for the crown. The code they were attempting to get me to pay for wasn’t even a dental code. They REFUSED to send it to my insurance and wanted me to pay the $700 upfront for the crown& “labs”. I walked out fearing I was being used in sort of insurance fraud. If I wouldn’t had looked at my bill, I would have been swindled out of thousands by the time it was done. Also, it is illegal for them to charge you and extra $5 every time you go for extra Covid-19 precautions/ cleaning. Please save your time, money and sanity; just don’t go to this scam artist of a dental practice.

Please, read my review!I almost got scammed by this place. Since me and my husband moved to Houston, we needed to find a new dentist and found this place (biggest regret). They gave me a treatment plan that was ridiculous. They said I needed a root canal, a crown because my tooth was decayed and a deep cleaning because I had gum disease. Considering I am extremely careful with my dental hygiene, I totally knew something was off. I flew to our city just to get a second opinion from the dentist that we trust. He said that the whole treatment was a big scam, all I needed was to replace fillings I had and that my gums were completely healthy.

I went for a crown back in September. I didnt have any pain before they put the crown. Right after they put the crown my tooth began to hurt. I went back to see what was happening and they told me that I needed a root canal which was going to cost me $1,200 and they were putting pressure on me to do it right away which I didnt like because they were not trying to save my tooth.I went back to my previous dentist which is a private practice and I requested to remove the crown. He found a lot of issues with the crown including that the cavity hadnt been removed completely and was still active and closer to the nerve. After he put a new crown my tooth was fine and didnt hurt any more.Since my insurance doesnt cover another crown on the same tooth and I have to pay the new crown all by myself, I went back to splendid dental care and talked to the manager asking for a refund and he told me he was going to do some research before giving me the refund. One week after I called and no answer. Two weeks later I went back to the clinic and spoke with the manager and he didnt even remember me and had to explain all the situation one more time.I realized he wasnt going to do anything and he was just ignoring me. I called corporate ( Lovett dental) and they took my information and they told me I was going to be contacted 3 days later. Its been 5 days and I havent heard from anybody and Im not going to contact the manager so he continues to ignore me.My name is Carlos Manrique. I hope I had read the reviews before going to this clinic. All the bad reviews are complains about crown procedures. What is more upsetting and disappointing is the customer service experience. They are totally ignoring my concerns and at this point I guess is better for me to forget about my refund.Please read all the reviews about crowns and DO NOT go there for crowns. The dentist didnt remove the cavity completely and my tooth was compromised and they wanted me to spend more money on a root canal. Let me start by saying the front office is awesome. Trevor is really friendly. The first time i didnt have such a good experience with the dentist and assistant who no longer work there. They missed a filling (i found out later on) and were kinda unprofessional and ignored me as they had girl talk. The machine broke so they also couldnt finish the cleaning either. Anyways, i called back a month later because i was still having issues with my filling. Trevor called me and listened to what i had to say. He apologized and was extremely professional in how he handled this situation. I came back, they have a new dentist, and this time was much much better. This office knows the meaning of true customer service and Ill refer anyone i know here. Thanks guys, good job!

DO NOT LET DR. RAMIN MOTAMEDI NEAR YOUR MOUTH.Hi! I havent been to the dentist in a while, quite frankly they scare me. When I found this place I was ecstatic to be greeted by a staff who seemingly cared.Fast forward: I needed a root canal. They said Dr. Ramin Motamedi could do it. Now I have horrible anxiety about any unfamiliar situation to begin with, but was reassured he knew what he was doing. Ill look up my bill later and post the exact amount I was charged for this hack job of a dentist, but needless to say it was expensive.I went back 2 times after the initial procedure complaining of pain in the molar he did the procedure on, the first time while I had my TEMPORARY crown. He told me the crown was more than likely uneven and filed it down to size, as well as the tooth above it which showed clear signs of minor decay amd wouldnt listen when I told him it was painful for him to file.The SECOND time I went back they had already put the permanent crown on. I could not eat, touch, or have anything on that side of my mouth with the pain I was in. I received an xray of my mouth with a simple explanation that whoever did my root canal didnt do it correctly and I needed to see a specialist. MIND YOU this is Dr. Motamedi telling me this himself WITHOUT reminding me hes the one who did the procedure WITHOUT KNOWING HOW. (CYA, am I right Dr.?) Besides that fact, the staff WOULD NOT respond to my emails or phone calls begging to talk to somebody about what happened! (Thanks Trevor! Great customer service!)I saw the specialist who then told me that DR. RAMIN MOTAMEDI left NECROTIC TISSUE in my permanently capped tooth! Not just a little, mind you, but OVER HALF THE ROOT WAS DEAD AND INFECTED. I had to undergo TWO EXTREMELY painful procedures after all of this to remove the dead nerve endings in my tooth. The first procedure the specialist couldnt even clean it all out because of the immense pain I was in. Imagine having slowly rotting and infected tissue piling on top of dead tissue because you trusted a professional?I was charged around $500 extra for these procedures because Splendid Dental cant be bothered to vet their doctors. I did some research on this man, come to find out he just graduated in 2019 with little experience. (But his Google page will count his years in dental school as professional experience.) Unfortunately Ive waited a while to post this due largely to the fact I had to go to another sibling branch to get all of this fixed, and really who wants to write an honest review about a HORRIBLE dentist while their affiliates work in your mouth.Now, Im a reasonable person, I could have accepted a sincere apology about this Dr.s lack of knowledge to fix my tooth, a refund of the money I spent on a bum procedure and the extra money I was forced to spend to have this mans mistake fixed, but no. The office manager ignored my messages, my emails, my calls and just passed me off to someone who actually had the knowledge to fix what his staff broke.Save your money, go to a real dental office who cares about their patients. Dr. Ramin Motamedi and the staff at this Splendid Dental office do not care about you, they only care about your money, and when you are high and dry having spent your last penny having their mistake fixed, Trevor the office manager will simply send you away without answering a single message.

We love this location! The staff and service is superb but Trevor and Cristel especially have always been exceptionally friendly, attentive, and communicative. The facility is impeccably clean. Visits are always quick; never a long wait. And when my insurance was causing problems, they were proactive and worked with me. They don’t mind answering all the questions and going over details. I’ve never felt rushed or ignored.This is the only dental office that allowed me to feel secure in leaving my previous dentist of 15 years. I visited many others while paying out of pocket to my previous dentist who no longer accepted my insurance and finally found a home with Splendid.P.S. I was so impressed to be served water in a real glass in an effort to reduce plastic waste!

So obnoxiously rude, I called to ask if they had any walk in appointments for just a cleaning on a Saturday. they said yes and to come at said time. I show up. They take me in. They take xrays and then tell me there isn’t anyone to do the cleaning! Why did they waste my Saturday morning and I rushed over there to then take me in and take xrays and lead me on to then tell me they’re not going to do the cleaning and to reschedule for another day. I didn’t go in for X-rays I went in for a cleaning and they lied to make any money they could and waste my time. Not going there again. So ridiculously rude and disrespectful to my time and life.

Honestly one of the best places I’ve been too to get my teeth cleaned. The staff if very welcoming and knowledgeable in what they do. They walk you through everything they do. The Dentist, Dental hygienist, and front office receptionist were awesome. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for a dentist. They even offer Saturday appointments which was one of the perks since I work 8am-5pm Mon-Fri which made it hard to do something without missing work. I hope you all try this place out!!

My experience at Splendid Dental Care at Richmond wasnt pleasant at all. The customer service is great but the dentist needs more experience I believe. I came to have two crowns and fillings done but I ended up having more sensitivity problems and I cant eat on the side where I got my teeth done.. Really good. Very fast and easy to schedule, they were very direct. I expected x Rays to be additional because at other dental places they were but these were included in my visit cost. The procedure costs with no insurance were not absurd, very reasonable for decent dental care. They also offered payment plans. They were very friendly and nice, and made sure all my concerns were addressed. Would very much recommend to someone in my position.

So initially I chose this place because its walking distance from my apartment but it honestly was the best decision ever. First of all, the guy at the front desk, Trevor is probably the kindest and most generous person youll ever come in contact with. He genuinely seems to care to take time to speak to each and every person that walks into the place and provides you with the best customer service.The dentist there and the assistants are just as nice too. I got taken care of by Crystal (or Krystal?) and she explained everything while going through each step and made sure I was as comfortable as I can be throughout the whole process. I was really thankful for that because I know sometimes dentists can just be doing stuff and it weirds you out. Overall, Im super glad I chose this location especially. Couldnt be more satisfied with the staff and the environment! They make the unpleasant dentist trip not so much unpleasant.

Dont go here. Worst dental experience and care in my life. I came here to remove a toothache and they gave me a 10 month headache instead. Better off taking a vacation to the Philippines or Mexico and getting dental work there for 1/4 the price. The vacation is paid for, from the money you would save from dental costs, and dental insurance. After this experience I am cancelling my dental insurance and doing that next time. I also got a electric toothbrush after this to avoid going to the dentist again.

Dont you have a job? this was the first thing after introducing herself the dentist said. Just to back track some, this is a new office so at the moment it is kind of like walking into a room with four walls. The greeting when I arrived was warm and the dental assistant was nice. Then I went into the exam room and was there for a good 20min with some car racing show on. Was a long 20min. The dentist finally arrived, no sorry for the delay. I went to communicate with the dentist, with hey it was about 11 years not seeing a dentist, not rich and no insurance, have to pick my battles and all that the dentist could say was dont you have a job? honestly the first thing I want to do at that moment was walk out, in many ways I had tuned out. Soon as I got my chance I did just that, payed my bill and left. No I will not be back. The only reason I even gave three stars is as indicated the front office was nice.

After switching careers and moving to a different part of Houston, I had to find a new dentist. Splendid was on my insurance and had good reviews, so I decided to give them a try. Im glad I did! No complaints. The office is brand new and everyone is extremely friendly, from the receptionist to my hygienist to my dentist. I came in for a basic checkup, and they took the time to explain everything they were doing, x-rays, cleaning, etc. They asked multiple times if I had any questions or any concerns about my teeth. Ive had problems before with dentists pressuring me to take out my wisdom teeth, even though I have no pain from them. That was not the case with Splendid. They explained all of my options, and I didnt feel like they were trying to push unnecessary procedures on me. Overall, very happy with this dental office & already have my next checkup scheduled there. Thanks guys and Ill see you in 6 months!

I was in a but of a pinch, and came to Splendid Dental without much background information. The staff at Spendid was absolutely wonderful! Their hygienist stayed late to help me with a specific issue with my teeth, and their front desk was extremely helpful, and offered to call my insurance on my behalf to settle a small issue. Their prices are competitive, and they are truly willing to go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable and do what you need. Their facilities are brand new and extremely clean and pleasing.I will be coming back!

Cant speak highly enough of Splendid! They always do an awesome job, everyone is super friendly and helpful and the quality of care is superb. Highly recommend!

I am so thankful for Splendid Dental Care. My husband and I felt overcharged and taken advantage of at our last dentist so we decided to try a new place out since we’re new to Houston. The entire experience was amazing from beginning to end. We were greeted upon entrance by Trevor. He was very friendly and polite. He even offered us water! After, Crystal helped us with our xrays. She was so knowledgeable and helpful! She gave us a lot of tips on how to better the health of our teeth. Dr. PK Ross was approachable and not intimidating! We are so happy and thankful for Splendid Dental Care!

Everyone there was really friendly and helpful, not to mention knowledgeable in their profession. They take the time to explain things to you in detail and do not mind answering any questions or concerns you may have be it exam related or billing related. They are all extremely personable and they feel super accessible. They will do their absolute best to accommodate with your schedule. I found a home.Update 02/09/20:I’m taking two stars away because I’m growing to be a bit annoyed for a couple of reasons.I’ve now had three different dentists since I’ve started going here. Last visit was December and now I have someone else again. The dentist herself was great actually. Nothing bad about her at all. Just at this rate, I’ll likely have two or three more different dentists by years end. Each time one leaves, I have to go through another diagnosis for a new opinion. Which I kind of welcome I guess? My issue, is speaking with them to confirm my appointment, the procedure, the cost, and then showing up to find out there’s a different doctor that may ultimately draw up a completely different diagnosis and plan than the previous. Again, this was the case with the Dr. before as well. Secondly, I had a temporary crown put in yesterday 2/8/20, and without eating hard foods (stuck with soup because I was worried) and woke up with bits of the cracked crown. So that really didn’t last. However, for that, I’m not blaming anyone. Things happen and it’s temporary anyways. The dentist and assistant that did my work were great tbh!! They’re the reason why I put 3 stars and not 2. As mentioned though, there’s some annoyances, and dentists not staying there is a little concerning. Fingers crossed my new dentist sticks around.

I found out about Splendid Dental Care because I live right across the street from this location and I received an ad in the mail. I was extremely pleased with the services I received. From the moment I walked in to the end of my appointment, everyone was extremely helpful, thorough, and reassuring, which I feel is very important for a dental office where the treatment can be very nerve-racking. I felt very comfortable talking to everyone involved about my questions and concerns. They were very patient with me and did not push to proceed with any services I was not ready to do, and I really appreciate that. A bonus: I really enjoyed speaking to Savannah, who helped me from the beginning of my appointment to the very end. She was more than willing to answer any questions I had without any hesitation or reluctance. I definitely recommend going to Splendid Dental Care’s Richmond location. You will feel taken care of!

Not sure why there was any bad reviews because this place is great! Trevor at the front check in desk us wonderfully friendly , helpful and just an overwhelming nice person. Crystal do did my x rays was quick and efficient and friendly as well. They denisr explained what all my problems were and on what order of importance to tackle them. They are also willing to work with you on payments.

The staff were prompt and professional. I was treated very well by everyone from the receptionist to the dentist. The dentist was thorough and the tech was very educational. I enjoyed my visit very much!

Waited more than 45 minutes for a regular checkup to see the dentist who came for literally a minute and then disappeared. And the teeth cleaning was a joke.Also totally unprofessional with their appointments, dragging me there with my 8-year-old daughter to tell me that the doctor cannot see her.Avoid at all costs!

Me and my family are new to Houston. Splendit dental care really cares about you, They accomodate to your schedule, they communicate with constantly. Trevor is amazing. New patient, went in for a routine cleaning/check-up and everything went well! They check with you every step of the way, makes you feel like they really do care about your well-beingRelatively quick appointment due to it being in the morning, even less time if you fill out the paperwork prior to the appointment.

The best dental care Ive ever gotten! I was treated kindly and professionally. Services were at a reasonable cost, and I was in and out quickly! I had a cavity, and the dentist fixed it painlessly.

They were so friendly and informative. Loved them all, from the receptionist to the dental hygienist and of course the dentist.

Be careful when you go to this place. Maybe because they just opened they want to do as much work on people as possible. My first time coming here and the staff was very friendly but after my exam it seemed like all they wanted was money from me. It had been a while since I had gone to the dentist but they went a bit overboard on the amount of work they said I needed. The dr pretty much said I had a mouth full of cavities (“every tooth that touched another tooth had one” exact words), needed several crowns, also needed a root canal maybe even two! Mind you I didn’t even have any pain or issues. I knew I would need some work being that I hadn’t been in a while but that was outrageous. Thankfully I got a second opinion at a different office and all I really needed was old fillings replaced and new cavities taken care of. There were 3 teeth that according to them were my worst (root canals and crowns needed) which the 2nd dentist said didn’t need any work on, even after I told him what Splendid said.

Savannah is a sweetheart and she was super helpful! i was amazed at how clean and nice this place was, the staff made me feel super comfortable..

Before even walking in for the first time, Trevor had called my insurance and straightened out any issues that could have come up while I was there. Then when I got there I was only in the waiting room all of 5 minutes! The dental assistant was so friendly, and then Nikki the dentist was warm anf friendly as well. Once they found the issues my teeth were having they had prices quoted with my insurance within a few minutes, and then they were ready to work on those issues immediately! I was there an hour, and in that hour I got x-rays, a perio-cleaning, and a filling. They are SPLENDID. ITS TRUE.Edited: Can I post this good review 100 more times? I am astounded with every visit at these people.

I absolutely HATE going to the dentist but the staff here makes it as pleasant as possible! Trevor was super sweet and helpful. Dr. Tajialli and Cristel helped to keep me calm and laughing and Cristel does a great job explaining everything. Ive found my new dental home.
