I had a root canal procedure there last Monday. Dentists elsewhere told me I had to have my tooth extracted. Fortunately, Dr. Friedberg said I can save my tooth and Dr. Reyes did it beautifully! Thank you so much! Claudia is very helpful as well!

Dr. Friedberg is a super dentist! He is extremely knowledgeable, very honest I giving his opinion and is excellent at performing procedures related to installation of new implants and surgeries involving root canal and removal/installation of dental crowns. I have had both these procedures performed by him and the results have been fantastic! Moreover, he is very accessible whenever needed and is very friendly and compassionate!

Dr. Friedberg and his entire staff are great. Their waiting area is comfortable and the exam rooms very clean. I noticed that they are diligent in sanitizing everything and maintain high standards in sterility. The staff is friendly, caring and professional.Dr. Friedberg performed a crown lengthening on me using plenty of anesthesia and no pain during the procedure. He followed up that evening with a phone call to see if I needed anything. As a 100% disabled veteran, in my 60 plus years, I have had many dental care experiences. This was an entirely positive experience! Dental appointments are usually not my favorite, however in this case, I would go way out of my way to use his services. I highly recommend him. I have been very happy with this place and their no-nonsense approach when addressing my dental problems and goals. I came to this facility after feeling uneasy and uninformed after visiting multiple other facilities where I tried to figure out what was going on with a specific tooth I had concerns about. Omg I have been all over the world and I have seen a lot of dentist in my time but this man is the all time best. He don’t take all day to to service you. It took him 30 minutes to pull my tooth and prepare it for a tooth implant. My last dentist took over 3 hours. Plus I came from Atlanta to see him. I don’t care where I am in the United States if I need a root canal or dental implant I will be in Houston Texas sitting in his chair.

I have been consulting with many dentist about recieving dental implant solutions to address my needs rencently, as i think everyone should, before making such a big investment in their smile. MUCH UNLIKE the consultations before seeing Dr Friedberg, he didnt just tell me how he could help with the implanrts he also was the ONLY ONE to say that he might be able to save the existing teeth that my partial anchors to perhaps avoiding the imeadeant need for any implants at all. NOT ONE Dentist before mentioned this less expensive less profitable option. Simply put, Dr. Friedberg and his staff are amazing, you owe it to yourself to meet with him before making any decisions.

I would highly recommend to my friends and family to see Dr Friedberg for all of their dental needs. Especially if you’re looking to improve your gum and not want surgery treatment. Dr Friedberg made sure I understand and educated me about the Periscope treatment, which uses a tiny camera to go in between your gums and clean out your gums.

I dont know why I waited so long to treat my gums. I had previously gone to another dentist here in Houston to find a solution to my gums and he had NONE. Then one day I decided to look for someone with good reviews that did a great job. I found Dr. Friedbergs office and I am so glad I did. On my first visit i was told my problem had a solution and he explained everything and went into detail. I was so happy to hear what he told me. I got my gingivectomy done and I dont know why I didnt look any sooner! Procedure was painless and he did a great job! I will highly recommend him. Dr. Reyes is AMAZING!! He did an excellent job with a root canal for tooth #20. He also has a wonderful personality that makes you feel relax and comfortable. Dr. Robert Friedberg is the best periodontist in Houston. I cant say enough good things about this place but for the sake of time Ill limit it to 3.1. HONESTY - Dr. Friedberg is extremely honest and that means a lot. When you go in to get your teeth checked out most of dont know what we really need. I always get the straight scoop from Dr Friedberg. He is never pushy but gives you the truth about everything you need to know and you can make a confident and informed decision from there.2. FRIENDLY - Dr. Friedberg and his staff are very friendly and pleasant to be around.3. PROFESSIONAL EXPERTISE - Dr. Friedberg knows his stuff. My wife went to 3 other dentists/ periodontists before for her gum disease and they all wanted to remove her teeth and put in expensive implants. We went to see Dr Friedberg and he said that was all unnecessary and he treated my wife with laser surgery that not only saved us a ton but she didnt have to have any teeth pulled either!The bottom line is this. Making an appointment with Dr. Friedberg was a decision I, as wife to a husband with various serious dental needs, do not regret. Given the negative experience from a previous practice there was some sketipcism as to whether Dr. Friedberg was able to understand the needs of my husband, but he was able to address more than we could have expected. In the near future we plan on tackling the 5 year plan he designed and appreciate the positive outlook he left us with.

After X-rays and the consultantion we were extremely pleased with the outcome!This doctor doesn’t just see another case.... he treats patients like they were his own children and gives the best advice like he would his own child!I also was a little skeptical about having a tooth abstracted! Didn’t really have the money to be sedated, but knew I needed a wisdom tooth removed!The doctor mentioned I was a hand full before and after the procedure lol and I was but he worked with me from the pain to the 💰 payment! I was beyond pleased with his work, the best one I have been to!My 14 year old son thought he was one of the coolest doctors as well yet very professional which inspired him to seek this career as well!We are extremely blessed we found this doctor! 🙌

I had posted this review a few weeks ago about all the trials and tribulations of the procedure and the following Insurance nightmare. Originally I had given a single star which at the time was well deserved. But, the doctors office was willing to own up to their lack of professional approach regarding the issue and have been pro-actively involving with the insurance company to take care of the issues. So, I would say, they have learnt from their mistake and were willing to correct it. Special thanks to Brenda who has been working tirelessly with the insurance company. I had said Reasonably well for both doctors and nurses service. That was not because I was not happy with the service, but I am not sure whats the level of service people expect from any doctors office (By Gods grace, Ive never been in a situation where I have to find out)

I had three implants placed by Dr Friedberg with intravenous sedation i was very nervous because i have never had a surgery,it was the most relaxing experience one moment they are initiating my surgery the next thing Im waking up and they are finish. I have no hesitation recommending Dr Friedberg to any of my friends and my family. He stands behind his work he is excellent at what he does and the most important for me he is HONEST .

Everyone in the office was very caring and nice. The problems with the extractions were minimal. I had some pain, swelling more than pain. And I had teeth that looked ok and worked ok immediately. As my mouth healed, I could eat more normally. Now that I have the final teeth, it is much better. I can eat as I did before, better since I didnt have sore gums anymore. They look great, and feel so much better than anything the last few years.I highly recommend Dr. Friedberg and his staff.

I had a very good experience. My periodontal treatment went very well both in the office and during recovery. I feel that I received excellent instructions on post operative care which made my recovery much easier. Dr. Friedberg called my home the night after my procedure to see how I was doing. This was definitely above and beyond what I expected! The office is run efficiently. I had a total of 5 visits and was seen as scheduled every time. The office staff contacted my insurance company several times to get my claim processed. Although nobody wants to be seeing a periodontist frequently, my experience with Dr. Friedberg will make me less apprehensive if my dentist tells me I need this sort of treatment in the future.

The staff here is amazing! I came in for my initial cleaning and the lady that does them is very gentle and gets the cleaning done without making you bleed excessively. I’ve been to several dentists and they’ve all told me “I don’t floss enough” which is why I bleed.... LIES!Following my cleaning I had to get a skin graft done for severe receding gum lines over my canine teeth! Dr. Friedburg did an amazing job and I am beyond satisfied with his work! Throughout my healing process he called me personally and was available over his Christmas holiday to make sure everything was going well.I 15/10 recommend his services!

All I can say is that the procedure went exceptionally well from start to finish the dentist my doctor fredbird was wonderful and exceptional I just want to say that its been a very pleasant experience for what it was and all I can say is the next person just ask for more pain relievers youre going to need them

Dr Friedbergs great. I was nigh unto a panic attack needing to get a second gum graft after having endured a failed and extremely painful gum graft 6 months prior by a different periodontist. Dr Friedberg is super friendly and easy-going, but confident in his ability and skills, which I found to be reassuring. In the end, he actually performed a less invasive approach on me that ended up not working. I was okay with it, tho, bc I had agreed to give it a try, knowing that this particular procedure doesnt always work for everyone and that I would possibly need a traditional gum graft anyway. Neither procedure was painful, thanks mostly to the sedation (opt for sedation!! It costs a lot and its out of pocket but absolutely worth it!!). Post-op involves some recovery pain, but nothing unmanageable. And Dr Friedbergs staff and hygienist are great, too! They do a good job of keeping on top of follow-up visit reminders, which is key to a full recovery. I havent done much comparison pricing among other practitioners, but I do know that when I opted for a less expensive perio the first time, it was a total botch job!! Thank you, Dr Friedberg and Co!

This review is long overdue! I have a very unique front dental implant (due to trauma) that has required a lot of work over the years. Recently I moved to Houston and my implant became very loose to the point where the crown was going to fall out. I was really nervous about trying any Periodontist other than my one back home but I gave Dr. Friedberg a shot based off his google reviews. BEST DECISION I MADE, Dr. Friedberg did some creative work that actually saved my implant from completely failing, saved me money and improved the cosmetics of the crown. He treats you like he would a family member and gives you the same advice he would give them. He is an extremely talented Periodontist and a great guy.

I visited Dr. Friedberg for a second opinion regarding a complete replacement of my teeth. My previous cosmetic dentist recommended implant supported dentures involving two different dentist (oral surgeon and cosmetic dentist); separate procedures in separate offices to perform the extractions, implant the posts, and seat the temporary dentures; separate billings and consultations; and complex individual component billing. I also had recent medical complications that had me on blood thinners that threw the whole estimate in question.Dr. Friedberg recommended a superior all-on-four denture solution. His partnership with Dr. Velasco meant that all work would be performed in one office at the same time (a HUGE benefit as my wife would not have to ferry me between offices on the day of surgery). Their simple flat rate all-inclusive billing meant no surprises. Dr. Friedberg would coordinate with my hematologist and clear me for the surgery.The entire process went as described. Dr. Friedberg accompanied me to my initial visit with Dr. Velasco. They answered all my questions, fully outlined the way things would go and what I could expect post-surgery. They even took me on a tour of the lab showing the advanced computerized equipment they would use to “build” my new teeth.The actual surgery went off exactly as described. While the procedure was long (6+ hours, attended by both doctors) it was totally painless as was the recovery (lots of good drugs). Follow-ups by both doctors have been frequent and uneventful and I am completely satisfied with the results.This is written at about the 3 month anniversary of the procedure. Next month I will be receiving my permanent dentures. Based on my experience with these two great guys, I’m sure I will totally happy with the final result.

I came to Dr. Friedbergs office for a 2nd opinion on gum grafting surgery and really thought I had my mind made up to go with the first periodontist that I had visited. After a wonderful consultation, I ended up going with Dr. Friedberg for the surgery. I liked how secure he made me feel by explaining everything very thoroughly and he was very honest about the procedure. The whole office staff have been a pleasure. What was a very scary procedure for me ended up being very little pain and recovery was less than a week. I strongly recommend Dr. Friedberg for anyone who needs gum grafting surgery...I had 18 teeth that had gum recession and my teeth have no more sensitivity and my gums look healthy. Im very pleased with everything from start to finish!

I had deep cleaning done earlier for my teeth having pocket sizes of 6 to 8 mm, that didnt help and my dentist told me that I might have 6-7 years before I will start to loose my teeth. I visited several periodontist who suggested traditional gum surgery which is very painful and takes longer to heal. I had given up hope. But my first consultation with Dr. Friedberg gave me hope and faith in the non surgical LANAP (osseous surgery) procedure. A non surgical laser treatment that can save my teeth with almost no healing time. I am really thankful that i found a very dedicated, hard working doctor. Although lanap is an expensive procedure but they reduced the overall cost of the procedure. I really feel blessed.

When I initially went to Dr. Friedberg’s office my teeth were in bad shape, to the point it was difficult to eat, my teeth had started to shift because of gum disease. With the treatment for the gum disease and braces I have a whole new mouth. I’m so thankful. You are the BEST!!!!!’
