I went to 3 different dentists in Austin....my family dentist, who recommended an oral surgeon who recommended a periodontist....I had no relief from 3 years of pain, not to mention oral biopsies requiring 12 stitches. One week after following Dr. Munnes treatment plan, I am now pain-free! She is a miracle worker! And her staff are so friendly! If I could give her 10 stars, I would!!!

I feel like I am the luckiest person ever, because I was told the onlyperson to go to is Dr. Rosalie Nguyen for my emergency oral surgery.So I guess everyone in Houston feels like I do; Dr. Nguyen is amazing.With her and her dynamite staff I was given the best treatment ever.Dr. Nguyen explain my problems and her procedure to make me wellagain. With her and her fabulous staff I was no longer worried.I have spoken to everyone I know, this is the only place to go forall their services. I want to thank Dr. Nguyen and her staff for making me feel so comfortable and also for taking such outstanding care post surgery.

I visited her in July/August of 2017. Four years later and it still leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Not from her work or the cleaning I received but from her business practices.This feels more like a business than a professional practice. First of all, they immediately hit ypu up for a $50 cancer screening that both my dentist and current periodontist do as part of their examination. Then she walked in without even looking at my mouth told me that there is a lot of work to do she was going to have to do. That was strange to me as my previous periodontist in a different city had me on cleanings and maintenance check ups. She then told me that the Soniccare tooth brush I just purchased 2 weeks ago needs to be replaced with an Oral B toothbrush that she was advertising.The end of the visit was the biggest shock. Her office staff demanded not just my copay but the entire amount due to be paid by the insurance company. Then I would file my claim to my imsuramce company and they would pay me or the doctor would pay me back. The woman behind the desk then told me were a specialist office, its different.Its not different. I didnt owe them the money. The insurance company owed them the money. Ive been seeing a periodontist for 11 years and not a single time has an office asked for me to pay for my insurance company. Not a single medical specialist I have ever been to has requested that kind of payment. I have family amd friends that are surgeons both in hospitals amd clinical specialists (MD, DO, DDS). I advised the woman that as a CPA and a lawyer thats not how insurance works and legally I do not owe them anything more than the copay.Do not let this person take advantage of you.

Dr Munne and Estefany provided my Otho treatment today and they were superb! The whole staff, (James, Natalie, Cece, Laura and webmaster Maria are always courteous, professional and friendly. I’m almost eager to visit the dentist now!

Exceptionally Professional.Dr. Munné is more than an excellent dentist, she is also a certified-licensed Stomatologist. That means that her practice includes the diagnosis and management of medical conditions that affect the oral and maxillofacial region. Indeed, in addition to dentistry, she is especially qualified to provide oral health care in cases involving medically complex patients.My observation is that she runs her practice and trains her staff to the highest levels of excellence. For example, once, at the beginning of my appointment, my blood pressure was somewhat elevated. The technical assistant returned to take another reading to make certain that I was OK; without my having to ask. Thankfully I was fine, still it is extra reassuring to know that Dr. Munné has had years of experience as an emergency room Physician MD.The entire team is always focused on the care and comfort of the patient. For example, a staff member proactively asked me if Id like more drinking water. They provide shades before the doctor or hygienist use their bright lights. They even offer the use of a blanket, just in case the patient might feel chilly. Their equipment seems to be very modern and they document all of aspects of both the patients condition and their provision of care in great detail, utilizing transcription, computer software, and photography to do so.Everyone in the office is as kind and attentive as they can be, regardless of their role, whether clinical or administrative.I wholeheartedly commend and recommend Dr. Munné and her team!

I enjoy having my teeth examined and knowing where I am with not just my medical health but dental as well. This staff did just what I needed and more. On top of being extremely friendly and helpful, I was offered a beverage and a pillow while I waited. So I neglected my cleaning for a while (Covid-19). Then one day an existing tooth filling fell out. I called Dr. Munnés office two days later to schedule a cleaning. Ceci, the bubbly front desk lady, scheduled me that same day. Not only did I get my cleaning done, but Dr. Munné took care of the filling as well during that same visit. Neha, the dental hygienist was excellent, as was dr. Munnés assistant Stephanie. James made the billing departments visit not just pain free but actually pleasant. Mike, the new office manager, made sure everything was running smoothly as well oiled machine. Dr. Munné has a great and highly professional staff, whether on the administrative or on the hands on side. I highly recommend visiting dr. Munné and her office for any and all of your dental needs.

First I want to thank Dr Munne and her staff for making me feel beautiful again. I had previously been seeing a well known Prosthodontist. He made some critical mistakes with my teeth and told me my only choice was dentures. I had always had beautiful teeth, took great care of them and wasnt prepared to wear dentures at the age of 60. Great Periodontist Doctors. Highly recommended!!

I honestly cannot believe this Periodontist has so many good reviews. The reviews were why I went with her. I would strongly discourage you from coming here. I felt completely disrespected, manipulated and taken advantage of. I had seen two different specialists who took one look at me and told me I had the same problem. When I went to Dr. Munne, she said she wanted me to spend $300 on a special x-ray so she could really be sure that was the problem. Okay, sure. I come back for my consultation, I am waiting for 1 hour and 15 minutes before she sees me and then tells me according to the x-ray everything looks fine. I am sitting there very confused because, as I have already explained, 2 other specialist told me this was the problem. She listens again and then says okay, let me take a look at it again. She looks at my tooth and is like oh yeah that is definitely the problem. Why did I pay $300 for an x-ray that wasnt even necessary. She then breaks down this very expense plan of next steps and like we need to get this taken care of as soon as possible we have an opening next week for the first surgery, you need to pay today. I am pretty frazzled, I agree and I pay. I call back the next week to try and reschedule because I feel uncomfortable about how fast everything happened. They inform me that they require a week in advance to cancel and I will have to pay a fee. I explain I made this appointment less than a week ago its not my fault they pressured me into scheduling so soon. They insist I would have to pay to cancel. I ended up going through with the first procedure (since I already paid for it and they were not letting me cancel) but immediately found another doctor to finish up the rest of the plan. This is only one of the things that happened that I am sharing. I would also warn that their billing practices seem a little shady.

Dr. Munné performed the Chao pinhole surgery on my upper gums due to severe gum recession. I was so nervous but her staff was very comforting and nurturing, which is a big plus. Dr. Munné informed me of everything she was going to do and the outcome I could expect. Very thorough. I can’t believe how painless the surgery was. Amazing! I do everything she tells me to do, as I am in follow-up care. As a result, she is pleased with my progress. On my initial visit to Dr. Ana M. Munné, Dental Office, I really didnt know what to expect. My husband and I were both diagnosed with periodontal disease. We were desperate and needed help with our problem; I came to you because I had pain and bleeding when I brushed. You and your staff took time with me and gave me options on the best plan of action for me. I elected Dr. Munné to do my procedure because of the knowledge and care she and her staff displayed. After everything was done, my mouth felt and still feels so much better. I immediately scheduled my husband for his procedure and he’s feels the same as I do. Worst dentist in the history of dentists. Charged me $2300 for a root canal I did not need. Shifted a root in my mount then charged me another $1700 to fix the issue they created, while leaving me in pain for 10 days until they got more money (total of $3200 after insurance—which they also lied about my coverage). I subsequently had to pull the same tooth, was placed in the hospital with nerve damage (getting fentanyl injections the pain was so bad), and then on carbamazepine with nerve damage for 2 months. When you mention this to them they do not respond, and Texas, being full of cowboys and hillbillies, has the worst medial and dental malpractice laws I have ever encountered (I’m sure Oklahoma, Alabama, etc are also bad). If you are from east or west coast I advise you to fly home for medical and dental work if possible. In the end it will be safer and cheaper! Hahaha.Reply to owner: Thanks for the kind words, that is very nice. It would also be nice to have back some of the $4000 that was charged for the work, or some of the $5000 I have had in additional medical bills due to your “service”. And something for extreme pain and suffering would also be nice ;)

My overall experience with this dentist was average, the staff was nice (especially Jim) however there were a few set backs that made me decide not to get my treatment done here.They schedule 2 different appointments which I feel like is a bit excessive and can be combined into one. You should automatically get a financial consultation regardless of what you are doing, here their technologies and processes are outdated causing the process to be drawn out and split into 2.My first appointment was scheduled at 11:30 and the second was to be scheduled at 12:50, both ran late (even with me being 8 mins late) so I ended up being in that office for over 3 hours when I already had x-rays etc., there was no reason for it to take that long.My insurance was to cover a certain amount of the procedure, however, they wanted me to pay for all it upfront. I have really good dental insurance with no waiting periods or deductibles so to me if they were to bill my insurance they would have gotten their money right away.They also are really expensive, I was taken back with the total cost as it took the max that my insurance would cover with a “probability” that I would get $400-450 back. $2,500+ for the procedure (paid upfront) that would result in me having to pay $2,000 for stuff that would no longer be covered under my insurance plus another $3-4,000 for Otho all out of pocket is just insane.I just found the whole process to be outdated etc. I will continue my quest for a dentist as my experience was not bad but it was not great either. I wish they could have just told me the prices sooner as I could have scheduled somewhere else while I had the time off.

Last year, I realized that I had a handful of teeth that I was in jeopardy of losing. After researching the best Periodontists in Houston, I visited 6 of them to get their opinion. Half of them said it would be best to pull all of my teeth out and get implants, two of them said I had a very poor prognosis, and one of them...Dr. Munne...said without hesitation that she could save my teeth. Her treatment plan was different than the rest, and it made sense. After 2 surgeries with Dr. Munne, and one more to go, things are looking good. If anyone can save my teeth, it is Dr. Munne. I have gotten to know the staff well. All of them are very personable and go above and beyond. They even sent handwritten get well notes after surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Munne. Update: After having my last surgery with Dr. Munne 8 months ago, I can now report that Dr. Munne saved all of my teeth. I have no doubt that she is the only periodontist in town that could have done it. Thank You Dr. Munne!

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a provider. My first appointment lasted almost 4 hours! I was in at 2:50 p.m. and did not leave until 6:30p.m. I had tell them I have to leave! Secondly, they said my insurance was going to cover a certain amount of procedure, however, I had to pay for all of the services in full. I was taken back as this is not how it normally works. They said my insurance company would reimburse me. They had me open up a Care credit account which I found very invasive. My procedure went fine. However, when it came to filing the claim with the insurance company, they denied it. The insurance company denied it because they never got a pre-determination of treatment. Not only that, I had to follow up with the staff multiple times for status after they said they would call me back. Needless to say, none of the staff actually knows what they are doing. I do not think this provider worth the time or money.

I havent been here in a while but my experience here was the best I ever had about two years ago. I had I believe 4 root canals done by Dr. Munne and I feel she did a great job. My wife on the other hand just went to get a pain she had on a tooth checked out and she as well came out glad she chose this place instead of going anywhere else.

Dr. Munne and her staff are the most professional and friendly group I have ever experienced. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. I always feel completely comfortable being in their care because I know they are looking out for my best interest. They are stellar at everything they do.

I am currently feeling scammed and mislead by this establishment.I came for two services that amounted to around $2,200:Mouth guard and fitting: $867Botox for TMJ - procedure: $650; Botox supply: $600; a total of $1,250.After receiving treatment I moved to Austin. This presented limitations to receive solutions for their poor quality of service and products.The mouth guard process was absolutely excruciating in timeliness and pain. The tech (who clearly had no idea what she was doing) administered a total of 7 failed molds. After the final and “successful” mold my mouth was raw and bleeding from the clumsy and ill-trained worker. When I got the mouth guard, it barely fit and broke within a month. $867 dollars down the drain.When I signed the “treatment plan” I was led to believe by Munné that the $1,250 charge would account for future procedures for the Botox regarding my TMJ. I asked many different times if future Botox procedures would be included in the price. I asked two different techs and Munné herself and they all said that all future applications would be included in the price until my symptoms were relieved.I was scammed and mislead by this establishment and even with asking clear and concise questions, I was not given succinct facts to lead me to make the correct decision on a treatment plan that would suit me fiscally, pragmatically, and medically. Such a shame. At least I will know not to come back to this money hungry sales professional, I mean “DDS”.I just got off phone the receptionist. On the call he was trying to coerce me to come in for another appointment to flush more money down the toilet. Get a grip and do better.

Ive been treated by Dr. Munne for many years now and she is second to none. Her attention to detail and dedication to each patient makes you feel in great hands, with a very personal touch and excellent results. I highly recommend her.

I always enjoy my visits. The dental hygienist is very knowledgeable, and the office staff is very helpful. I am blessed to have them in my life.
