I was helped in a timely manner and am able to pay on monthly payments now to lift the burden on my loved ones when the time comes. I wanted to be part of the solution of prearranged funeral expenses. I choose cremation with costs rising. I locked in the amount now. Highly recommend them for their services.

I am extremely satisfied with the service provided to me in making pre-arrangements with the Neptune Society. My agent, Sarah Gruver, was knowledgeable and sensitive. She helped me get just the right package for my needs. I was very impressed that there was no pressure and she was able to answer all of my questions. Now that I have completed the process of making the pre-arrangements, I not only have an excellent product that I know my family can rely on, but I also have a wonderful peace of mind knowing that everything is arranged and will be handled beautifully.

A great pre-need cremation program. The price was very reasonable, and was explained very well. There was no pressure to buy. The agent got back to me within 24 hours of my request for info online. He came to my house, which I usually hate, but I had seen the companys work before when a friend passed away. I put the companys name in the back of my head then. When I saw an ad online I remembered them and checked into it. I was afraid that maybe I could not afford it, but the payment plan options made that easy.

The death of my husband was sudden and when I had to make the call no one likes to make, I found Neptune Society on the internet.Even though everything was so surrealistic for me, I was immediatey put at ease when I made that call.Cynthia Warren and her staff are warm and professional.Saying Im pleased with their service isnt saying enough.Dont hesitate to call them in your time of need.

The Neptune Society is a cremation services that have pre need programs and others for any families that wants to be prepared in advance. Their staff is considerate, knowledgeable, very courteous and always kept in touch with the family while the process was a little longer than expected but its during a very challenging year 2020/2021 COVID-19 Pandemic that is understandable.I can not express our gratitude to them. Thank you so much for everything you did for our families back in 2010 and again in 2021.The plans are very affordable and they can be paid monthly very convenient for anyone.Their representative comes to the house and explained all they have and there is no pressure at all to buy. If you are looking for information they have it. If you are looking for the pre needs packages they have it very accessible to anyone.

My mother left a month ago. Since then the help we have received from the funeral home has been very important, as we are outside the USA. We were provided with information and support at all times. The procedures were simple and diligent thanks to Mr. John Smilie. It is not a service that one wishes to recommend, but when needed, it is always good to have the professional, human and considerate support that we received at all times.

I highly recommend if cremation is your decision. I did pre-need which was simple fast and efficient. Sandra handled the pre-arrangement and she was fabulous. Upfront all the way. No gimmicks, no pressure. Professional and answered all questions. John was my funeral director and he was just as awesome as Sandra. Always available for questions, timely with appointments and always followed up. Leaving the job to them, I never worried, no concerns, no issues. Would go no where else.

My mother recently passed away. I am grateful to Neptune staff for making this such an easy and peaceful transition for me. They arrived promptly and were very compassionate and professional in arranging the transportation and cremation. I have seen what others have to go through at the time of a loved ones death. I am so grateful for their compassion and assistance during this time. I sincerely appreciate their extra efforts in attending to the details. The staff made what could have been a very difficult and trying time, much easier for me. I am comfortable knowing that when my time comes, Neptune staff will do the same for those I leave behind.

I couldn’t have asked for a better person to help my family take care of my brother after he was taken from us. Jannelly was kind and patient and figuratively help my hand through the entire process. She was thoughtful, kind, and compassionate during one of the worst times in my family’s lives and we are forever grateful for her. Death is inevitable but dealing with your loved one’s final disposition doesn’t have to be stressful. With Neptune Cremation Services, I was able to pay on a monthly basis for a plan that was affordable and simple. When the passing occurred, Neptune’s representative handled all of the transportation and paperwork seamlessly. I was able to sign all the documents and return them via email so I didn’t even have to travel to an office. I can only praise Neptune Cremation Services and hope that everyone who reads this will give them an opportunity to do the same for their loved ones.

Neptune took care of my sweet Mama very respectfully when she recently passed. After they were notified by me of her death, a director and a dear Chaplain promptly arrived. They were incredibly supportive and very caring. Chaplain Calvin is awesome! The directors and staff were all very compassionate and consolatory, as well as professional and efficient. My husband and I will likely use Neptune in the future for plans for ourselves. I recommend them to you to care for your loved ones or yourself. Blessings.Cindy

Death is always a difficult thing to deal with; add a pandemic and a severely injured surviving parent, and it is almost unbearable. I would have enjoyed the Neptune Society lunch presentation in Houston on Thursday if your presenter, David Hale, had not refused my repeated request during the presentation that he put on a mask, as required by the restaurant, this city and county. Whether Mr. Hale cares about it or not, the zip code we are in has a heavy outbreak of Coronavirus.I am very upset. I attended the 1:30PM Neptune Society presentation on November 12, at Carrabba’s restaurant in Houston, expecting a relaxing and informative afternoon, not to worry about my health and wellbeing. The meal and presentation was excellent. Your representative, David Hale, began his presentation, halting from time to time to cough into his sleeve. I was upset and concerned when refused my repeated request, in front of the 2 other attendees in the closed room, that he wear a mask. The restaurant has a huge banner posted at the entrance that masks must be worn and he was not eating a meal.His response to me and the other 2 people in the closed room for the presentation was that he did not need to wear a mask because he was “distancing” from us, that the virus was “overblown” and “anyway, people die all the time from the flu”. He does not acknowledge that the COVID virus has been spreading like wildfire in the Houston area and we have to be vigilant, as directed by local government and public health officials.Self-righteous people like him are responsible for others getting ill and possibly dying. They take no responsibility to be a good citizen during this public health and economic crisis. Being a personnel consultant for 30 years, I was courteous to him, afterwards saying nothing more of my concern about his irresponsible behavior. I felt it best to handle it afterward. David Hale mentioned that he has additional presentations scheduled, so I recommend the company address the issue with him immediately. He must use better judgment and common sense, and not put others at risk. I was very angry as I left after the meal, but kept it to myself. There was no need to upset the other attendees.I have talked to Mariano, the manager of the Carrabba’s restaurant. He was not pleased to learn of Mr. Hale’s conduct, as he saw Mr. Hale was wearing a mask when he arrived at the restaurant. It is doubtful that Mr. Hale would be invited back.When I accepted an invitation to attend the presentation, I had no intention of putting my health at risk. As Mr. Hale talked of being a ex-military gun enthusiast, please handle this carefully in suggesting that he wear a mask, as mandated by the city of Houston and Harris County, in case he has the tendency to over-react.Mr. Hale had given other presentations before the one I attended. If he was infected and asymptomatic, he would actively spreading virus for an extended period to prospective Neptune clients as well as the service staff and other patrons in the restaurant. I am greatly concerned as to why I was needlessly held for 90 minutes in an unsafe environment in the closed presentation room, and would like an apology for Mr. Hale’s negligent, reckless and unprofessional behavior.

Horrible! Rip off! The cremation was only 1300 and they wanted us to pay the rest of the contact for 2000 which made no sense. They do not actually care what so ever. I WASTED over 2000 on this “plan” They had me on. Total SCAM. Is the worst time possible. I had to fight these people and still had to take him somewhere else. Terrible. I’ll say it again and be telling everyone I possibly can. DO NOT USE THIS RIP OFF

My experience with the Neptune Society was the best anyone could ask for. My parents made the arrangements 5 years prior to my father getting sick. They handled everything and professionally. The gentlemen who picked up my father were kind enough to wait for a family member to arrive. They came in a car and not a morbid hearse and they left a rose on his pillow. The office staff were extremely kind and thorough. Compared to other crematoriums, the prices are reasonable and clear. They do not nickel and dime you to death. The encounter was so positive that I am ready to set up a policy for myself and will certainly suggest them to others. They made a horrible experience tolerable!

I was very happy with the service and all the information that we were given from J. Martinez when my mom passed away this passed May.She was very gracious, and talking with John on the phone and texting back and forth, before coming in to get my mom’s remains, was very helpful also.Even from the night my mom passed, and my husband and myself waited for them to come and get her body, they were all very gracious and caring, very professional.

This feels weird to write a review on my experience with my mom’s cremation but we frequently wrote reviews and notified managers or owners if we had great service. After reading the other reviews, I’m shocked because I had nothing but positive interactions with Ms. Monica at Neptune Society. My mom died unexpectedly a couple of weeks ago and the next day, I contacted Neptune Society about cremating my mom. Monica has been nothing but supportive and professional the entire time, with constant communication about updates and what I needed to do. Honestly, I was so overwhelmed with a lot of things that having someone like her has really helped make this process as smooth as possible. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking care of my mom and helping me through this insanely difficult time.

Passing away of a loved one is one of the hardest things one can deal with in this world. This place made that experience even more painful. I am not going to get into details but for example there was no communication follow up from the funeral director, no not keeping clients updated, poor instructions and very very poor empathy towards the clients. I pray for everyone that no one close to you pass away but if God forbid they do then I pray to you that you don’t have to deal with this place. My advice, please please stay away from this place and make your life a little less stressful when dealing with a loss.

In the middle of the most difficult time of our lives, the women at Neptune were incredibly understanding and gracious. My Husband passed away in April, he was a Navy Veteran. They even helped to make sure I had all the proper paperwork for the VA.

Houston Cremation Service a good assistance at the time when you are totally worried and just left in the world of agony. The Cremation community without disturbing the etiquette or the peaceful prospectus of the funeral right helped me to complete the funeral of my cousin, I did nothing just connected them online by a telephone call- who came to the spot and looked after all the formalities and completed with cemetery in most respectful manner. My wife and I bought the Standard Neptune Plan from the Neptune Society Houston office on 8/29/14. We were informed that we would be receiving our Memento Packages within a couple of weeks.I received mine in a 2-3 week window, but my wife has not received hers yet. Tomorrow will be a full month.She has been in touch with the Houston office three times so far and has not received an answer yet as to where the urn and Momento package is at, or when she can expect it to arrive.This is not acceptable. It is also starting to make me worry if problems are going to be encountered when we need additional services to be performed.

My dad has been gone for 20 years!!!! Im guessing they purchased a very old list probably because it was cheap? Funny thing is that my dad lived with me for a short time in 1986!!!! The short time was no more than 6 months. I still live at the same address but he moved on 32 years ago and passed away 20 years ago.
