I had a bad fall recently that fractured my nose and dislodged two front teeth. Dr. David Ashmore took me in at once even though I have not been his patient long. He put the two teeth back into their sockets and secured them within three hours of the accident. His immediate urgent care has saved my two teeth.Dr. Ashmore’s care of my dislodged teeth let me know he not only has extraordinary knowledge and skills of a dentist, but also a thoughtful and compassionate human being.I would highly recommend Dr. Ashmore. I have been going to this dentist office for as long as i can remember, and i have had the worst experience with their book keeping and administrators.after setting up a treatment plan with my dentist in early 2020, i went to the dentist July 2020 for a procedure while not having insurance. i called the dentist ahead of time to get a quote as i was paying everything out of pocket. the lady on the phone quoted me a total of $265, which was an acceptable amount that i could afford, so i booked the appointment and got the procedure done. when i went to check out after i was done, the lady told me my total was over $800, which, of course, i could not afford. i let her know that i was quoted a total of $265 which is all i could afford. she told me that was fine and i paid the $265 before leaving that day.i then received multiple calls from their front desk lady to follow up on booking my future appointments throughout 2020 to which i always replied that i was waiting to get my insurance in 2021 and to call back then. finally, in January 2021, she called again to book an appointment and in that process she also let me know that i apparently had a balance of $505 that i still owed and that would need to be paid.of course, i panicked because i cant afford that payment. today, i talked to them again about this balance to which they only replied were sorry, and no help was offered. my 2 options were to 1. pay it and move on or 2. take my business elsewhere.the way this was handled was COMPLETELY unacceptable and i would never recommend anyone to use their services.the issues i had:1. i was misquoted from the start2. when i paid the $265 i was not told okay well pay this amount now and you can pay the REST later so i did not know i had any debt3. when they continued to call to book appointments i was not made aware that i owed them any money4. they did not tell me i had a balance until 6 MONTHS later5. when i explained what happened no help was offered - they only said sorry and didnt really care at all6. when i talked to the admin today she told me that there were no records or notes indicating that i set up a treatment plan or that anyone had quoted/ talked to me

I have been going to Dr. Derr at Westfield since 2017. He was recommended by family and I’ve been very happy with staff and service. Dr. Derr is a great dentist. He takes his time and makes sure I am happy with everything.The staff has been so helpful with me as I’ve had to reschedule at times. They have always worked with me.I would recommend this office to anyone.

The checkout lady treated me very horrible to the point that I do not want to return there, when I called to tell her about her behavior she then denied everything and hung up in my face....anyway the dentist that worked on my teeth did great. I just dont see why they would have such an ugly hearted person checking people out.

Literally just got off the phone with the receptionist and she was pretty rude. Had an appointment at 3pm I was going to be late due to oversleeping. Took me a month to book this appointment. Anyway, the receptionist plainly said No you cannot come you missed your appointment. And I said so you wont work with me here? She said no in a condescending tone. So I plainly said thank you and hung up. I was going to be less than 30 minutes late from my appointment time. Anyway I thought I still could be seen due to the fact last time I waited for over 45 minutes to be seen by a dentist over a month ago. And there were only 2-3 other people in the waiting room with about 7-9 cars out front.So I still assumed it was slow paced. I understand I was late and had an appointment, but if she would have been more kind, I would have simply rescheduled and set an actual alarm. But no. I have no ill feeling toward the dentist i had there. She was wonderful. But they might want to re-train or hire a new receptionist before she drives away business.🤷🏻‍♂️ But who am I kidding they arent gonna do anything about it HAHA! Its whatever, I will just put my two cents out there, and carry my business elsewhere🤷🏻‍♂️👋

Dr. Ashmore is the most excellent, courteous, dentist I have had the privilege to attend. The staff is remarkable and very efficient.

Love this clinic! People are very friendly and helpful. Dr. Derr has been my dentist for several years already. He has done a great job on my teeth. And I must confess: he is the first dentist in my life (and I have seen many) that I am not afraid of. His assistant Marie is a nice charming lady :)) Going to this clinic is like visiting friends.

Did not have a good experience. Several times they cancelled my appointments over a period of 2-3 months and on the day of my appointment they decided to tell me the price and circumstances around my operation had changed. Whenever they called me on the phone they always acted confused when I picked up. They didnt even care to spell my name right on text updates about my appointment. I dont have insurance, idk if that makes a difference on how they treat you or not but Im sad with my experience here. I felt less than.

We love this office! The staff and dentist are always professional and personable. They don’t keep you waiting, but make you feel like their only priority. This is why my family and I still return to Westfield after moving from Spring to Kingwood years ago. They’re worth the drive.

I really like this practice. I had a hard time finding a dental practice that I liked but now Im sticking with Westfield Dental. The dentists seem to know what theyre doing and dont try to sell you services that you dont need. The hygienists are pleasant and professional. And theyre ALWAYS on time - never a long wait. And last but not least, Ive never had a problem with billing. My only complaint are the hours - wish they were open Fridays at least for cleanings, or, since there are 2 dentists, maybe one could work on Fridays. They have recently started providing early morning appointments (7:00 a.m.) which really helps with my work schedule. Overall great practice that I take my whole family to!

Candace is AWESOME! She is so friendly and treats me like family every time I come in! She is a very thorough dental hygienist and even is great about giving me good suggestions to help improve the quality of my teeth and gums. Don’t let her slip away!!

Years ago, I had a bad experience with a dentist in another state that scared me, so I didnt go to the dentist for 13 years (I know!). I decided to try Dr. Ashmore after several people at work told me that he was a great dentist. Dr. Ashmore became my dentist 14 years ago, and I never miss an appointment now. I go every 6 months for a cleaning and checkup, and when I have needed dental work, Dr. Ashmore is incredibly kind and gentle. Everyone at Westfield Dental is amazing. Now I recommend them to everyone who looks for a new dentist!

Took my mom, daughter including myself for cleanings. As always, its like I visited a good friends house. Polite, friendly and nice ladies at the front desk. Kind, positive, super friendly dental hygienist. Wonderful doctor. Been going there since about 2002. 14 years later - nothing new, but as always great and no complaints. Happy to have Dental office i can trust for so many years. Wish my insurance paid for cleanings 6 times per year , not only two :). I would do it every month if it was up to me.

Ive been Dr Ashmores patient for over 25 years! Even though I have to drive quite a long distance, I would never even consider a different dentist. He and all of his staff are the best to be found...in the knowledge and proficiency of dentistry, and in kindness and compassion. VERY highly recommend them!

I recently moved to Oklahoma but kept my September appointment. These folks are very good at what they do and I have never had a complaint in many years of being a patient. I was a little nervous when my regular hygenist was not available but Katy did a wonderful job and I would go to her again without a second thought. Just good service and good people. I also scheduled my next appointment in March. Its a long drive but well worth it.

I have been going to Westfield dental since I moved to Texas in 2000. Even though I have moved out of Spring I will continue to go here. They have an awesome team of dentist and hygienist. We found Westfield Dental right after we moved to the area in 2005. Ive always been a dental scaredy cat so a dentist that deals with those issues is high on my list. These guys are great. I also have a grueling work schedule, they work with that too. They are the best dentist ever.

I had an emergency regarding a crown and the staff set up an appointment for me within 24 hours. Marie, Dr. Derrs assistant, was excellent. I was greeted with a smile and treated quickly with care. Cant say enough about all of the staff there at Westfield Dental. They are awesome.

I have been a patient here for years and years. I absolutely love Dr. Ashmore - gentle, funny - makes going to the dentist something not to be dreaded. I adore Gayle - she does such wonderful work keeping my teeth clean that I actually look forward to my quarterly cleanings. Our entire family uses Westfield Dental Clinic and would not go anywhere else!

I have used Westfield Dental for many years as well as all of my family members. Dr. Ashmore and is staff are wonderful and not over pushy. You go in for a certain procedure and they dont try to talk you in to doing something different unless a problem has risen since your last visit.. I will never trust my teeth to another dentist as long as Dr. Ashmore is still in practice.. My hygienist is so amazing(SS) that I go in every 3 months for cleaning and dont mind one little bit.. I have a permanent bridge that is very hard to floss so the extra cleanings take care of any issues that not being able to floss under the bridge take care of. If you fear dentist give Westfield Dental a try and you will be amazed how wonderful your experience will become.. I am a patient for life..

Always a pleasant experience with my hygienist, Brenda, who does an amazing job. Dr. Ashmore was very helpful and informative to any concerns. Very pleasant staff all around.I have been going to this office close to 10 years as have my husband, daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter and we have all been treated with care and respect.

Never in my life did I think I would say, I liked going to the dentist. It always made me sick to my stomach, and I held my breath, scared to death. Since going to this office, I have learned to relax. The people there put you at ease. I am confident in their work, and they explain what they are doing as the proceed. Everyone is very polite and professional.

Dr Ashmore and all of his hygienists are wonderful!. Me and my family have been going to this clinic for over 25 years and have never had a bad experience. Whats more, the options for treatment are always reasonable, cost effective, and common sense and take into account our personal preferences, such as to limit x-rays, provide gas, etc. Wont ever change!

Staff is friendly. Dr. Derr is gentle and kind, listens to your concerns and answers your questions. I felt like I had his undivided attention and that he had my best interests in mind. His goal is to correct any problems with my teeth; not completely rework my smile so that i could become a 51 year old poster child for his practice. I cant wait to begin my treatment plan.

Its really obvious that only white people probably come here but when I said I have an appointment and find out i was given the wrong information, dont want to look at all the numbers in my phone to investigate, dont imbarrasse me in from of everyone in the office telling me No, I dont know who scheduled your appointment because they have no right, dont start searching for evidence to try and prove something you already know is not there. Do your job! How I would have handled this situation...Oh Ms Hunt, I dont see you on our list and Im sorry for the confusion. Let me check and see if we accept your insurance and see if we can schedule an appointment for you and get you taken care of. But no I got a rude lady at the front counter who has No Respect...and then got the nerve to ask me what I wanted to do? Its clear I had just said its my first visit to a dentist in a while so what do you think Im here for. It just really tickles me how people act towards the other race. And yes Im taking this to race because thats exactly how I feel. Your company should have better standards and values. And I only put that one star because it asked me to but you deserve 0!

Dr. Derr is very professional and does an excellent job! He doesn’t do more than is needed, but always recommends the best treatment. He listens to you concerns and works with you to find the best solutions.

As usual very personable and pleasant from receptionist to hygienist (Brenda), to dentist (Dr. Ashmore). Several in my family go here and we are all very happy with the staff. Wouldnt go anywhere else!

The appointment was very professional. My dental hygienist was awesome, very nice, great conversation and made me feel comfortable. She took her time and made sure I received a throrough cleaning!

I was embarrassed to go as I had some pretty severe issues with my teeth. I recently had a crown installed and was having a little pain and sensitivity. I called the office and they had me come in the same day and made some adjustments. The adjustments took the pain away and everything is great! I highly recommend Dr. Derr and Westfield Dental.

As always, my visit on July 18th, could not be less than 5 stars. For approximately 20 years, I have been a patient at Westfield Dental. In all this time, I have consistently been treated with professional and sincere care. Although Westfield Dental is not included as a preferred provider in my insurance plan, I choose to be a patient there and pay my portion out of pocket. Im not planning on going anywhere but Westfield Dental for dental care.

Been using Westfield Dental for years and its truly a great practice. From great staff and Dr Derr with his amazing crown machine! Dr. Ashmore is also great ! They moved their practice quite a few years ago and I make the drive! Would not go anywhere else!!!

Love Dr. Derr and the staff. I’ve been through hell in the past 3 year due to going to a different dentist who left infection all the up to my nasal cavity after cutting into my front teeth too much. I went back to Dr Derr and I’ve just finished the last of a long process including surgery to get the infection out and implants. I don’t care how far it is, I will never go to another dentist again. Best Dentist Office in or around Houston PERIOD. Highly recommended!

Dr. Derr examined me and found that there were no problems with teeth. Thought the problem was caused by acid from lemons and oranges I was eating. Advised me to slow that down and prescribed a toothpaste to help the sensitivity issue. Since I am a regular customer and could give nothing but advice he did not charge me a thing for the visit. Very pleased!

This was my first visit after years with another dentist that was excellent. The staff was very friendly and took time to explain everything they did and to explain any options I had. The cleaning was one of the best I have ever had. No pain. Dr. Derr was very friendly and knowledgeable and reviewed my x-rays with me and addressed all my concerns. I will be contuining to do business with this dentist.

My visit was a typical Westfield Dental visit - - - I was seen right on time (no more than 2 minute wait), my hygienist was very nice and helpful and did a great job cleaning my teeth.

Welcoming, helpful staff: always accommodating to your schedule. Same staff for years speaks volumes for Dr. Ashmore and staff.

I didnt have a long wait time, the staff were very sociable and the dentist was great!
