Let me start off by saying... I strongly disliked going to the dentist. After previous negative experiences, I did not go for over 5 years. Well of course I had to have a dental emergency when we were locked down March 2020. Dr. Rodriguez promptly came into the office with another staff member to take care of me. He was awesome to say the least. He acknowledged my dental anxiety and was able to make my root canal not a big deal. He personally followed up with me after the procedure to make sure I was doing good.Since then, I have had subsequent visits to get my teeth cleaned and routine checkups. ALL of his staff are fantastic. From the front end, to the couple of hygienists that have cleaned my teeth. Everybody is professional, friendly, hygienic, and knowledgeable.We live 40 min away and make the drive out to see Dr. Rodriguez and his team because they really are that good! If you are reading this review and thinking of coming here, just do it! I promise you wont be disappointed :)

Every experience I have had here has been very welcoming, and thats usually a big sticking point for my previous dentists. My hygienist is very clear about what is going on and creates a very professional environment.The clerks at the front of the office are also very helpful when it comes to scheduling and insurance questions.All a round everyone here is nice, professional and provide a great quality service that I havent been able to get elsewhere.

Excellent service, but more importantly excellent communication! Chrissy at the front desk was very welcoming and helpful when I needed it filling out the information on the iPad. My hygienist Mary Sara, was very thorough not only on my cleaning, but also on explaining everything step by step. She also made sure the deep cleaning process was as comfortable as possible and was very gentle. Dr. Rodriguez was also excellent on communication, explaining his findings on the X-rays and his thoughts on a game plan. I honestly felt in great hands there and it killed all the fears I had before on having dental procedures done. Let me say it again... EXCELLENT SERVICE AND COMMUNICATION!!

I have been seeing Dr Rodriguez for 5 years now. I am very satisfied. Dr is sharp and very good bedside manner. Dental hygienist are good and meticulous.The front desk ladies are so sweet and nice. They are very helpful and respectful. They always explain what to expect from treatment and payments. They are honest, if insurance ends up paying more they will send you a check or credit it from your next payment.With the covid, they let you wait in the car for minute after you arrive and let you in once your room is ready for you, so you don’t have to stay in the waiting room.The office is clean.I would recommend this doctor.

It was beginning to hurt so we called the office emergency number only to find out the dental office was closed for a week for Christmas, but they would give Dr. Rodriguez a quick call to see what he recommended doing. Within 2 hours, Dr. Rodriguez opened his office just for us to fix my sons tooth! We were so grateful and thankful for his care and concern. Daniel walked out with his tooth fixed and no more pain and sensitivity. Who does that? Dr. Rodriguez and his kind staff do! 5 stars all around!!

Made an appointment 2 weeks ago, my appointment is for tomorrow and they waited until the day before to tell me my visit will have to be paid out of pocket because my dental plan is HMO and they only accept PPO plans. How great I could of looked for and booked an appointment with another dentist 2 weeks ago.

I am used to going in to see the dentist and waiting so long to be seen that I brought work to do and a book to read. I didn’t need them! I barely sat down in the lobby when I was called back. Dr. Rodriguez doesn’t like to call it a waiting room because he doesn’t like his patients to wait! The office staff are incredibly warm and friendly. The hygienist was thorough and gentle. I wish I had switched to this office a long time ago.

I recently visited Mauricio Rodriguez, DDS and found the experience as pleasing as you could hope for in a trip to the dentist. The office is very comfortable and the team is courteous and professional. All involved in the practice seemed to be mindful of my time and worked to make sure I was not made to wait for my appointment. Dr. Rodriguez was very personable and well skilled in his profession. He did a great job of both explaining what he was doing and describing the cause and effect of tooth issues without being too “preachy”. I’ve found my new dentist and am encouraging my friends pay him a visit.

Excellent dentist and staff! I saw Dr. Rodriguez and his staff over a period of several months due to needing an extraction and getting an implant because of the internal resorption of a front tooth. This was something I was pretty nervous about because it is a really big deal to lose one of your front teeth! However, everybody was so nice and quickly put me at ease.I was greeted by name when I came in the door and there was never a long wait. Jeannie was always so thoughtful in double-checking to see if I had any discomfort during procedures. I had a regular teeth cleaning appointment with Fouzia and he was so thorough. When he was putting in some sealants, he said I know nobody is ever going to see this part of your tooth but I just want to make sure its perfect. Wow! The ladies at the front desk are super nice and helpful.Dr. Rodriguez is the best dentist I have ever been to. He took his time, listened to what I had to say, and looked at all options for my situation. You can tell that he is very excited about the dentistry field in general and is on top of new advances. He is good about explaining in detail exactly what is happening and why. He is also very personable and has a good sense of humor which helps when having a procedure like this.I came to the office for a very specific procedure but I and my entire family (great with kids too!) plan to stay on as general dentistry patients permanently. So if you need to see a dentist for regular check-ups and cleanings or if you need a tooth implant due to internal resorption (or a more interesting reason like roller derby or Fight Club), I cant recommend Dr. Rodriguez strongly enough!

For years I have struggled with bad teeth. Anxiety and the worry of cost always kept me from seeking a dentist. Dr. Rodriguez and his outstanding staff helped so much in easing my feelings and assuring me. After only one visit, I was able to chew on both sides of my mouth without pain for the first time in over a decade. Now instead of the thought of the dentist causing a slight panic, I look forward to my visits. It feels like seeing old friends again that always make me feel wonderful each and every time I visit. I would certainly recommend Premier Dental to anyone who asks. For the first in in possibly forever, I feel like I have an ally to help me make sure that my oral health is in good hands. I’ve never been made to feel guilty or talked down to, but he also makes sure I’m educated well on what my role needs to be to achieve our goals. My only regret is not going sooner.

It’s such a relief to find a dentist that can see you in a matter of days instead of weeks (or months)! Dr. Rodriguez and his staff are delightful; the office is laid out in a traditional patient room format instead of the “Open” concept where there is someone 4 feet beside you getting their teeth clean, GROSS. I love that I’m seen within minutes and I don’t spend a lot of time in the waiting room or dentist chair. I now have my young children seeing Dr. Rodriguez, the hygienist and Dr. Rodriguez do a fantastic job with the kiddos. One more thing.. I appreciate that this office works within the confine of my insurance coverage; I do not get bills about uncovered services rendered. This was a huge problem with my children’s former dentist and my previous dentist. Sorry, I don’t like spending $600 + dollars a year on dental insurance and then STILL get a bill after seeing a dentist. Thanks for not being like other Clear Lake dentist Dr. Rodriguez!

I love his personality, and he has an incredibly nice staff, however the work that was performed on not only myself but my younger sister of (15 yrs-old) did not meet our satisfactory at all. I had an onlay placed on my upper right molar due to a minor cavity There had been a little discomfort over the past 10 months since having it done but I wear Invisalign so that was to be expected. The issue is, even with Immaculate personal care of my teeth not only did that same tooth get infected with bacteria a new dentist here in Austin says the onlay was placed way too close to my nerve and has killed it, which explains the SEVERE PAIN Ive been in the last 5 days. I will now have to get a Root Canal on a tooth that had an onlay placed by him less than a year ago. Hundreds of dollars of work flush down the drain for me. 😓
