Dr. Testa and her team are absolutely the best their service is beyond compare and I was incredibly impressed with the extent that they went to to keep us safe and to keep their selves and their staff safe in this Covid situation while still supplying top-of-the-line dental care.I love Dr. Testas very kind compassionate and friendly manner but she will also tell it to you straight when you need something done to maintain your dental health and all of her staff were absolutely delightful. For example I showed up five minutes late because I have been trying to find a cup of coffee without success and they insisted that I sit down and relax and have a cup of coffee in their office before I went back for my exam which no doubt me themLate for the rest of the day but they put my needs first which was so unexpected.As a doctor I know that the staff representative position in all of Dr. Testa staff are absolutely top-notch service providers and are kind compassionate and humorous and make what could be a scary procedure absolutely painless and fun. I have never received nitrous oxide for a teeth cleaning before but I have sensitive teeth and I was nervous and the whole procedure was quite delightful and completely changed my view of what is easily something that I dread.I cannot remember recommend this office more highly and I am so excited to have finally found a place where its not scary to go to the dentist

To preface, I hate the dentist office. I don’t like going, I don’t like when they say, almost done, and you’re not where near done, but they definitely make the most out of a dreaded experience. I’ve been coming to see Dr. Testa for about 8 years now. I absolutely love this place and the staff. It’s always so clean, they are always on schedule, and everyone is beyond friendly. Pre- COVID, you could get a blanket, but those are gone due to the Virus precautions, but you get to listen to music of your choosing to drown out the awful noises going on during the cleaning. Diane always goes above & beyond to make me feel comfortable. I am the biggest baby when it comes to dentistry. The safety precautions taken during this pandemic were stellar.

Completely took advantage of my husband. They lead him to believe he’d be paying one fee when in fact they were not in network and never disclosed that to him. Then after the insurance paid the out of network claims, he was balanced billed. Upon scheduling he asked if they accepted our insurance and they said yes, they presented a treatment plan with what they expected insurance to pay but when it was way less, he owed the difference. They saw him as a cash vulnerable opportunity who needed a lot of dental work and took advantage of it. Well he’s out and now can go literally across the street to get his deep scale cleanings at a $O copay. Too bad. He liked you. He was ready to go back to the dentist and have work done but you all screwed that up by taking full advantage of him and misrepresentation of accepting him insurance. New patients be careful. They say yes but they mean no.

Day of Freedom for Military, way to show appreciation for veterans! But thank you for your dental treatment more. Jasmine made check in easy by sending registration forms prior to my appointment and I received what felt like the best hygienic care since I separated from the Army! River Oaks Dental Arts are running a scam artist at a different level.Had some work done on my mouth for absolutely no need. Was pushed to have more than one crown and when told to fill a tooth I became very suspicious. Went to 2 different dentist who said your tooth is fine. Stay away from these clowns. Very unprofessional, thieves and butchers.

River Oaks Dental Arts is the best experience I’ve had at a dentist office! They saw me AND my wife for free during their “Freedom Day” program where they treat veterans for free. Between the two of us, they took care of 4 cavities and a fractured tooth caused by a silver filling. They go out of their way to facilitate a positive experience! Highly recommend!

Dr Testa and her staff have been my dentist for 10 years. Her and Dr Mouzi are top rated dentist and I value and trust them with all of my family’s dental care. She partners with and employs only the best staff members in the profession. Today I met the newest addition to her dental staff, Jessica. I have been going to Dr. Testa for about a year now and recently went in to a dental appointment soon after the office reopened from the Covid19 lockdown. I couldn’t have felt more safe. As a healthcare professional I can be a harsh critic when it comes to cleanliness and proper use of PPE, but the staff at River Oaks dental did an excellent job. They have gone above and beyond to accommodate for the new standards of keeping patients safe with plexiglass windows to protect their front office staff, sanitation stations and temperature checks prior to entering the treatment area, and all staff wearing masks gloves and additional PPE during dental procedures. I was very impressed and felt very safe at this office.

Literally brought me to tears! After 4 years I was finally able to get my teeth fixed and thank god for Dr. Tests and her staff!! She did an amazing job and I have never been so happy to smile in my life! She brought the confidence I never had into my life and for that I am truly grateful!! AMAZING WORK!! I love going to the dentist in general, but Dr. Testa and Dr. Mouzi are the best!! Their entire office staff are very accommodating and professional. In one of my first appts Dr. Mouzi stayed after hours just to help me with an issue I was having with one of my teeth, there are not many places that go above and beyond for their clients but they never let me down! Aside from their amazing customer service, they also do exceptional work. Dr. Testa just did cosmetic dental work on me to close the space between my front teeth and it looks incredible!

River Oaks Dental Arts was offering a day for military appreciation and to my surprise I was highly satisfied. The staff was very friendly and caring from Jasmine (front staff member), Jessica (cleaning), Merylin and Dr. Mouzi (treated my 3 cavities). I transferred to UofH from Bakersfield, CA; this is one of the two best hygienic treatment I’ve ever received. I highly recommend this place, very clean, friendly atmosphere, and superb dental treatment. This faculty fully devotes their time and dedication to their Houstonians.

The staff and doctors are friendly and competent. I was referred to Dr. Testa by another dentist. I was unhappy with my original dentist after a series of misdiagnosis. Dr. Testa and her amazing staff gave me the perfect smile I have been seeking. My front tooth was chipped, and after being told by several dentists in the Houston area that I should live with it, there was nothing that could be done, it wasnt that bad, I called River Oaks Dental Arts. I received a consultation appointment the same day I called and was told by Dr. Testa that repair was possible. She explained the chip was due to a shift in my bite requiring some orthodontic work to ensure the repair would be long-lasting (something no other dentist even mentioned). Her expertise and skill gave me the smile I had lost and I am happier than ever. She and her staff are first-class in every way...knowledgable, friendly, and kind. I highly recommend Dr. Testa and her staff to anyone seeking a thorough dental experience by experts who love their work and their patients!

This review is based on no service provided. My family is new to the area and do not yet have a regular dentist. My wife had a severe toothache on Friday morning, so we googled. On entering the website a chatbox opens (run by Simplifeye). After explaing the issue, the chat indicated that the reservation person would reach out to us quickly since this was an emergency. It all went well up until then. But there was no callback until Monday (after we had resolved the problem). When my wife explained the situation at that point, the person who called was not helpful or apologetic despite the promises which were made by their chat. Not a good first impression at all. Fortunately there are other dentists in the area who helped us. In conclusion: the chat system is wholly unreliable and the reservation person is unhelpful and unsympathetic.

I just walked out of the River Oaks Dental Arts facility and I am very satisfied with my experience. I was seen by Palmira Testa, DDS and Nadia Garza, R.D.H. They clearly explained the examination procedure, conducted the tests thoroughly and were very attentive during the treatment. Great immediate results after session. The front desk staff was polite and pleasant and made both check in and check out very easy. Facility was clean and very accommodating. Its conveniently located and has great parking. I highly recommend this facility.

Meeting Dr. Palmira Testa has been the best thing that has happened to me in a long time! I had visited various dentists across Texas in hopes of getting Invisalign, but I was repeatedly turned down. I was told I needed traditional braces and that I’d also need a few teeth pulled out! I had nearly given up on straightening my very crooked teeth – and then I met Dr. Testa. With her deep knowledge and expertise on Invisalign (she is incredible!) she made my dreams come true. I actually cried when she said, “Yes, we can do this.” After an honest, caring, and patient two-year journey of treatment (which I believe can now be shorter via improved technology and individual commitment), I have my smile back. More importantly, I have ME back. My friends and family have seen the confidence beam through me and it has been life-changing. This has meant a great deal to me and I owe all its success to Dr. Testa’s team, who supported and encouraged me at every step of the process.
