The whole experience of working with Dr. Metz and the team at OMSH has been very positive. Beginning with consultation before the procedure, all my questions were answered and everything was explained fully. On the implant surgery day things went very smoothly because of the excellent teamwork.Each person Ive met at OMSH seems to really enjoy working there. Well, I must say that Dr. Seidel is THE BEST and I mean it. I heard the horror stories about tooth extractions and was apprehensive about getting it done, I was going to be ignorant and bare the pain... Right.She told me what was going on and as soon as she said theres going to be pressure- Pop and it was done, the pulling was firm and after that I was in no pain... I was so terrified to go in since I had never had any type of surgery or had ever been put under anesthesia. However, when I walked in the nurses were unbelievably sweet and helpful. They we patient with my emotional self and genuinely cared about how I was feeling. Pain after surgery is normal. However, they cut my tongue and left a rather nasty gash on my outer cheek somehow during my wisdom teeth surgery. They also inflamed my uvula which makes it much harder to eat than it already is.My recovery time has simply been extended because I can’t eat at all and because it hurts to just swallow at the moment.

I have such confidence in Dr. Metz and his staff thatI leave my worries and fears at the front door! Great surgeon. Such a pleasant staff that makes sure your every need is taken care of. Even though Im in a nearby city, the short ride is worth getting treated by the best!

AMAZING! Dr. Seidel is truly an angel, I had extensive work done with her. I’m not going to say it was painless and I didn’t expect it to be, I actually expected alot more pain. I had 3 missing teeth and massive bone loss, she reconstructed my bone and placed the implants. I had my temporary crown put in this week and it looks great, I am so excited for the final crown to be placed. This has been a long process, 3 years in the making but she always reassured me of the end results. Would highly recommend her to anyone.

I was expecting to experience pain after placement of implants. My husband stopped to pick up pain medication which I was sure I would need following the procedure.I never experienced any pain following my procedure.Dr. Metz is the most compassionate and painless oral surgeon.

Couple of months ago I had my tooth extraction and had my implant placed last week. Dr. Orfanos was great!! Procedures were flawless. I had no pain and was able to get back to normal right away. His staff was very helpful and attentive. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Metz and his team are truly amazing. I went in for a double tooth extraction this morning, which all my friends know, I was dreading, due to not one, but the extraction of two wisdom teeth. Amar, who was so comforting, took my blood pressure, which was significantly elevated. He asked if I was nervous, I stated, “very.” You wouldn’t have outwardly known I was nervous, and though everyone was amazingly nice, I truly wanted to get it over with and put this behind me. However, after Dr. Metz came in, explained everything that was going to happen, in his calm airplane pilot voice, I was good to go. Amar took my pressure again, and this time it was normal. There’s another very nice lady, whose name I didn’t get, who also helped me feel comfortable. The procedure was precise, short, and painless.I love these people! The blood pressure doesn’t lie folks. 😂

At my consultation she made no promises but prepared me for both outcomes. The day of my procedure she extracted my tooth leaving enough bone to place my implant the same day! I had to have a tooth extracted which I dread. I was so nervous when I arrived I was in tears and sick to my stomach. The staff was so good. They took me back a hocked me up to nitrous oxide which soothed my nerves. I was sedated for the procedure.. it apparently went well. I dont remember a thing which is how I wanted it. I am recovering at home with the expected discomfort. I would highly recommend OMSH.

Dr Metz is an excellent oral surgeon. My first consult visitation with him went well and all concerned and questioned were answered. He explained the process very patiently and not rush, and he’s wonderful bedside manners are immense. Jessica and Michael are also both very helpful throughout the course of my surgery. My surgery couldn’t be more perfect than I expected. Although, I had experienced some numbness and swelling after surgery but Dr Metz was ready to take calls and was very patient of reassuring with my worries and concerns. He had personally given his personal cell numbers and we were able to contact him directly. Not many doctors like him would like to be awakened twice in one night but his demeanor and patience and lay back attitude didn’t change. The next day, my husband and I came back for a follow up check up and again, he was there patiently reassured me of everything will be in my satisfaction towards the end... Overall, I can’t never say enough how glad and happy I am of Dr Metz and staff and the office settings. I am a little disappointed with this group--there does not seem to be a lot of communications going on. I had to have a tooth removed due to a fracture and Dr. Seidel was referred. She performed the extraction but the healing process took a long time with severe pain. She was not receptive to my issue at all. After some time dealing with Dr. Seidel, Dr. Metz came in and diagnosed the situation immediately and resolved it much to my relief as I soon was pain free.I then decided to allow Dr. Metz to perform the implant as I felt comfortable with him. He listened and Dr. Seidel did not. So, I scheduled an appointment and it was confirmed at that time. I double checked on the appointment later to make sure I did everything I needed to do before I came in. After setting aside my busy schedule and arriving at my appointed time, I was told that I did not have an appointment that day. In fact no appointment was scheduled. I explained that I did have an appointment and it was confirmed and they told me that the confirmation was an acknowledgement only of my request and not a confirmation at all. So, You need to be confirmed for an appointment twice and even then, you may not have an appointment.I will be getting my implant done elsewhere where its not so confusing and a confirmed appointment is a confirmed appointment.Not giving them a one star because Dr. Metz really did handle my pain issue.

*READ REVIEWS BEFOREHAND *I got work done in May of 2020 and am due a refund due to my insurance paying for the procedure..your company sent the funds to a CLOSED ACCOUNT! Here we are in JANUARY 2021 and I still don’t have my money back ... SMH. My problem is that your staff lacks customer service skills and being honest .I have called this office several times... you must call about 5 times for someone to answer the phone. The insurance coordinator (Mandy)for Dr. Seidel never answers her line either and talks extremely sarcastic to patients when you finally get a call through to her . Office Management is never available to speak nor do they return patients calls. I have all my call records to this business and am very hopeful that they will settle this before any further action is taken . Hopefully this will get the ATTENTION of the OWNER to refund me the money that is due to me .

I was pretty nervous going to see Dr Seidel. I had a tooth break off below the gum and was NOT looking forward to having it removed.
