This salon took a terrible turn after the pandemic. They lost the only sweet girls they had. Stylist Sasha Brewer remains with front desk girl - Sarah - . Terrible professionalism, as in none. Make sure you are dressed up for a non-trendy formal social event to avoid Sarah telling you that you have given up on yourself & she could never be like you if you show up in any type of leggings. Sasha is worse. She focuses on her entry-level boyfriend’s opinion of your job & her Q conspiracies. 🙄 Never going back.

Sasha B. did a wonderful job. So careful making sure I got what I wanted. She worked well with me. Carrie, the owner, welcomed me. She was very helpful. The shop was immaculately clean. They were very careful and concerned for the client’s safety and satisfaction.

Sasha Brewer is my go-to colorist and never disappoints! Ive done everything from natural, to highlights, to funky pops of fuschia, to red/purple (currently). Shes always thorough and realistic in what can be done in one session, helps to plan ahead for the next, and gives suggestions for what will work to achieve the final look i want.The salon itself is always very clean and pretty! The staff has always been so nice. Highly recommend Vita Mutari 😊

Wonderful salon with great customer service! The stylists are all friendly & very good at cuts & color. Personally, I recommend Sasha Brewer for all your hair needs! I have been going to see her for over 3 years in a very regular basis & my hair has never looked better! I also get their scalp scrub a couple times a month & my hair & scalp is in such good shape , I went through a couple months of quarantine with pretty good hair - not oily or anything!! A++++

Love this place! They have a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Sasha Brewer is my stylist and her and I always have things to talk about. She has helped me transition to healthy hair for the first time in my adult life. She makes product suggestions, but is not pushy.I met the owner for the first time on Saturday and she is so sweet and genuinely ares about her clients. She also provides training for her staff in group settings on topics such as color technique. Very impressed and have referred several coworkers here.

Carrie, the owner, has been styling my hair for over 20 years and she is absolutely incredible. I have also started to get my Balayage done by Kristin. She is AMAZING. Somehow she knows exactly what I want to do with my hair, even when I cant really explain it. I love coming to the salon because I know it is going to be relaxing, welcoming and Ill have a nice warm coffee (or chilled champagne) waiting for me. Kristin just did my hair for my wedding and I cant even count the amount of compliments I got. I cant tell explain how reassuring it is to know that no matter what, when I walk out of Vita Mutari, I know that my hair is going to look fresh and perfect. Did I mention that I have convince my husband to get his hair cut here too? Thank goodness... because super Cuts just was not cutting it. He loves Sasha P and Kristin for his hair cuts. 10/10 I recommend you get your head in here and see what Im talking about :)

My hair stylist is Ryanne and she does a fabulous job with both my color and cut. Everything looks natural and grows out in an orderly fashion even when I at near weeks 7/8, just in time for my next appointment.The facility is also super bright and clean. The entire experience from start to finish was superb. The first time with a new hairdresser is usually stressful and you tend to sit on pins & needles, but none of that happened with Sasha Brewer. She was insightful, understanding, and patient when we discussed where my hair had been and in what direction I would want to go with it. From that point, I had the confidence that she really knows what she is doing from start to finish. Afterwards I felt like a new woman when I looked in the mirror. I walked out of there feeling great, sporting red carpet hair.

Kristen Evans did my color, cut, and style. I absolutely love my hair. It is probably the best it has ever looked. The salon is very clean and inviting. Everyone that works there is super friendly. This has become my official hair salon.

Nice salon. Not cheap, but they treat you right and do a good job. If you want a great cut and to be pampered for a while, this is the place to go. Waiting area is a little sparse for things to do while you wait, if you are not getting your hair done, so dont bring a friend who is not easily entertained

I first came to Vita Mutari to have a hair color disaster fixed (the disaster was from a different salon). Carri did an amazing job of fixing the color and making my hair beautiful. I now see Kristin on a regular basis and she is also amazing! She does my color perfectly every time and provides great feedback when Im looking for a change. Ive been incredibly happy with this salon and all the people there!

I love this salon! They are so friendly and accommodating. They go out of their way to make you comfortable. And they do great hair! I am a busy working mom of 3, which means I am often late in scheduling my appointments. I love that I can book online. And it is so helpful that I have my main hair person (Ryanne), but that they dont mind if I sneak in to see someone else in the salon when I forget to book and cant get her. They all know the color formula and she has her notes on what she does for my hair. Ive also brought my children in for cuts. Love them!

Sasha does an amazing job of managing my hair. The salon is amazing. They are very efficient in scheduling appointments. You never have to sit and wait while a stylists finishes with someone else for 30 minutes like many other high profile salons.The entire staff is friendly and gets to know you, soon you are like a member of their family.

Best salon in Houston. I have super fine hair and my color and cut have always been outstanding. The staff is very professional and I always feel like a VIP when I call or come in. Terrry always has my grapefruit Perrier ready😀 Carri the owner did my hair for years and I also now go to Sasha P and Kristen who are also amazing. Jordan also gives the best scalp massage around when getting your hair washed. I highly recommend Vita Mutari!

Everyone from the Front desk to the stylist are friendly and fun. They acknowledge you when walking in the door offer you something to drink as if is their home, and Krislon is the best..(I havent tried anyone else) She has gotten to know me, and my style, I trust her enough to let her have her way with my hair, and when I want to do something drastic, she will give me the warning it might be to much. She is amazing with colors and styling and she is fun and funny, when make it fun and relaxing. to have a beauty day with her

Very Happy to have found this Hair Salon and was scheduled with Krislon L. She did a marvelous job with my hair. A previous hair stylist at another salon had ruined my hair and left it dark when I had asked for a touch up on my roots and even out the blond on my existing ombré. I seeked out for help to a very well known hairstylist here in Houston (I won’t say his name ) but had turned me down because him and his staff did not feel comfortable working with my hair.They went by pictures that they had me email to the salon. So I came across Vita Mutaría Salon had an appointment schedule the very next day, was scheduled With Kristin and I was amazed and blown away with what she was able to do with my hair, she did a beautiful balayage and the blond was back!!! Yay!!! ❤️ I loved it ❤️ I was so happy with the end results of my hair.I cried in the inside!!! I’m so blessed to have found Krislon and Vita Mutari Salon 💇! Awesome Job! HATE this salon. THEY ARE BULLIES. I didnt want my hair cut short. The front desk person and the stylist were both pushing me into. So the stylist says, we will talk about it after the shappoo. After she dictates that I will be getting layers at the bottom of my hair. THIS IS NOT SOMETHING YOU DO TO LONG HAIR. She also cut off 3-4 times more than what I wanted. I cired for 30 mintues striaght when I went home. This was by far the most tramatizing hair experience I have ever had. My recomendation is to steer clear of this place.
