Tammy Y was great! She did a Brazilian blowout and a hair cut with long layers. Tammy was kind, attentive, and made sure I was happy with her services before I left. Jeremy is the best. I swear he knows more about curly hair than I know about… probably anything! Jeremy saved me from a bad haircut, and he always takes the time to educate me on my hair and products. Every time I leave the salon, I feel such a boost in my confidence. If you’re considering a Ouidad cut, do it!

Ashley was amazing. She’s done my hair for probably 14 years or more and I follow her anywhere. SoK was a beautiful space, decorated and organized well. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. I loved and greatly appreciated how helpful they were to Ashley also, as this was her first weekend at SoK. Its been about 3 weeks since I went to SOK for my Ouidad cut with Jeremy. I have gotten so many compliments on my hair since the cut. Its hard to believe, but Ive been going to Alden at SOK for almost a year now. Before that time, I went to several different shops, and it was hit or miss. Alden always provides consistent service, and I am always pleased with my hair after leaving. Ive gotten to know him a bit, and he is truly a super human being. The shop has a good vibe to it with none of the attitude associated with many fine hair salons. Everyone in the shop is warm, friendly and accepting of all patrons. I plan to stay with SOK (hey, that rhymes!) for as long as possible.

SOK is a well run salon, clean, classy and has a unique ambiance. The stylists are all passionate about their craft and all their customers leave happy with the results and the experience. I love going to SOK. Checking in at the front desk is always very pleasant, greeted with a smile and asked about getting something to drink. The wait is never long and the reading material is worth the wait (the greeting cards are very entertaining). The music is very relaxing and the shampoo experience is well worth the trip to the salon. I always walk out feeling and looking so much better then when I walked in. My stylist is Alden Clark and would recommend him to anyone that asked. I see him as a miracle worker.

Superior hair color / cut / styling from Jeremy, ALWAYS. I would have given 5 stars for this salon on that basis, but this is the 2nd appointment Ive had where there was a client who did not wear a mask the entire duration of their appointment (same woman), and no one asked her to wear one. She uses the stylist closest to the shampoo station. Makes me uncomfortable to come to the salon now.

COVID and self-hair coloring wreaked havoc on my hair - it was the worst it has ever been in my life. I put myself at Marissas mercy and she was able to guide me into a chic, modern new hairstyle that accentuates my waves and gives me styling options. I was ready to cut it ALL off but instead, I now have fresh natural looking color and highlights and a fantastic haircut that suits me very well. I had previously used Marissa for years but moved too far away to make it a reasonable trek every 8 weeks (90 minutes each way). But now - I am BACK! The drive is and will be TOTALLY worth it. And Marissa is a delightful person in addition to being a hair artist. I always enjoy the experience which includes mimosas, massage chair and scalp massage.

Jeremy listened carefully to what I wanted, proposed a strategy, and checked back with me through the whole process. My hair looks great; it’s exactly what I wanted.

I really enjoyed my first visit to SOK! The environment is energetic and eclectic with great customer service. Upon checking in my husband and I were both offered beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic choices). The stylist who cut my hair (I have a pixie cut) was Austin and he was meticulous and very detailed with my cut and style. I will definitely be back!

I have gone to Marisa for years and frequently get asked where i get mu hair cut. Marisa listens and talks through your hair goal. She is a wonderful stylist. The salon communicates with their customers and keeps them informed. The salon is very clean and taking all kinds of measures to keep clients and employees healthy during COVID.

I go for Annie. I have followed her around for nearly 6 years. She is by far the best stylist I’ve had in my life. She’s gentle yet firm, gives amazing hair washes, and is a captivating conversationalist. I’m not sure what else you can desire.The space itself is bright and airy. The staff is always welcoming and responsive.

Do yourself a favor and book with SOK!!! I have not let another soul besides Jessica touch my hair for over 11 years now. She is hands down THE best. I have very curly hair which is not everyones cutting expertise, but Jessica has trained with the best and can tame this mane like none other. Her coloring skills are top notch and I put my full faith in her to determine what color she thinks is best for me every time. My last cut/color was on 10/12/19 and she gave me the perfect, rich, make you want to go to a pumpkin patch in flannel, brunette color. 20/10 would recommend.

I went in for a reshape with my curly hair. Tammy, my regular stylist, was out of town so I made an appt with Alex. My hair turned out fantastic! The knowledge the stylist have with curly hair is evident with how my curls look when I leave the salon!

Great service and wonderful haircut! They provide great guidance on appropriate hair care products for your special hair/scalp needs. They will venture past trying to sell only their products in store. They were out of the product my hairdresser was going to recommend, they went to the website of the company and found out that it was discontinues :(. They went so far as to go online and looked for generally available products at drugstores and provided great guidance on what to look for. They really care about healthy, beautiful hair.

I found my hair stylist an expert on color that is what I had been looking for as I gray gracefully. The salon is very convenient with ample parking, the staff is well organized and friendly. Appointments are made easily and reminders are sent via email. The shampoo chairs are sooo comfortable with a throw to keep you even more comfortable. I highly recommend this salon.

Whenever relocating to a new area, I always dread shopping for a new regular stylist. I have biracial/thick curly hair and maintain a bob cut. Both of which are tough finding someone who truly knows how to manage my hair. Found Austin in my search for an Ouidad certified stylist and he absolutely nailed it on the first try! I typically like to wear my hair straight and he ensured a cut that I could wear both curly and straight. Found my new regular stylist! Highly recommend Austin!

I absolutely love SOK and my stylist Stephanie. The creativity and passion are what I love most about the SOK experience. The salon is updated with new designs often so you every trip is an experience and I love how the chairs at the wash station are massaging chairs. Stephanie is a perfectionist and does such a good job with both my cut and color. This is the only place I go and I HIGHLY recommend it!
