This was our first visit to location and it was great. I showed them photos of example cuts if like for my 14 month old and Adriana did a great job! I will definitely be returning!

Took my son for his second haircut and I did not like this location. The staff isn’t friendly. Definitely prefer the woodlands location they have more patience and are very caring! Also didn’t like his cut.

Horrible experience! Staff is NOT friendly and hair dresser shouldn’t be qualified to cut hair!Hairstylist did what she wanted and all I asked for was a trim. Don’t take your kid’s here it’s a complete WASTE OF TIME & MONEY!

Went to Sharkeys cuts for kids and had an awesome time my son loves it there and he loves his stylist Miss Adriana she does a really good job and shes very patient with the children that comes to her. I would really recommend this place and the people here are awesome!

Super clean and Margarita is the best stylist for boys! She is so patient, gentle, and kind! She only speaks Spanish but understands english pretty well. Show her a style you would like and she can mimic it for sure.

If you have small kids 2-5 and find it hard to get them haircuts, Sharkeys is a great option. The environment is engaging so your child is so busy they arent getting upset during their haircut! So why a 4 star and not a five? You will spend a good amount of $$.

The ladies that work here are very patient with kiddos that might struggle through a haircut. Im thankful they are always nice and helpful. And my sons haircuts always look so great!

I was hesitant to take my 14 mo old for his 1st cut because some of the google reviews had bad experiences, specifically mentioning awful bowl cuts. A friend recommended Irma to me and Im so glad she did! Irma listened to what I wanted and 100% delivered. He was freaking out in the cute little car chair so she suggested I hold him. Between sitting in my lap, feeding him a granola bar & watching Cocomelon on their tv she was able to give him a fantastic cut! He did not get a bowl cut and everything looks even to me. I will definitely be coming back!

My son always gets a good cut here and the car-chairs keeps him distracted 60% of the time. The cars do have a lot of nooks and crannies, so I understand seeing someone elses hair, but they need to work on a solution. Staff and adults wear a mask.

They do only buzz cuts, are bad at scheduling, and spend very little time cutting the hair. The finish product looks bad. Been here a few times. Not impressed.

Overall OK, nothing that made our daughters first cut memorable. We did call and setup an appointment a few days prior; however, on the day of my daughters haircut they made us sign in and the staff followed the list, not the appointment times. Also, we knew our one year could get fuzzy during her cut but the hair stylist didnt do much to comfort her.

Weve been coming to this Sharkeys location for a while now. They always do a really good job with my sons hair no matter who does the cut!

We’ve had some great experiences here, but beware of the comb-over that hides a bad cut for boys. For almost $25, I expect better results. My daughter loves this place.

Ms. Irma always gives my little one a great haircut and shes so nice and patient, we live by Willowbrook mall and the drive is so worth it!

I took my son here for the first time and the experience was no different from any other hair salon and the price is $22 for a hair cut! I was so disappointed when I walked out from here. The hair stylist did not know how to deal with crying children. She didn’t even bother to help me comfort him or reassure him that it will be ok. He was crying throughout the haircut and his hair had no style to it and looks like a cut done from home with uneven hair everywhere. If you have a child that cries during haircuts then I would not go here and waste your money.

But today was different.. no tears at all!My daughter also got her first haircut today and we received a certificate, picture, and a lock of her hair in a bag.We will definitely be coming back!

We called ahead of time to ask if we needed to make an appointment or walk in lady on the phone said just walk in. Upon arrival it was mentioned i called and she said that he needed an appointment to get a cut,Why even tell us on the phone we didn’t need one. Then my sons hair cut was extremely uneven and not what was asked of, i really regret bringing my son here. If your little one needs a cut go to snip its. They are so friendly and will show you the cut to make sure you like it.

Today I stopped by and signed in. Lady asked me if we had masks simply told her no. She was very unprofessional and rude as well. Didnt really care to say why dont you wait outside until theres no one so we can cut your kids hair. What a way to loose business. Will definitely never go back again.

This place is great for little and big kids! We waited 30 minutes because it was crowded. Go online and book your appointment! The wait time isnt that bad if you have an appointment. For walk-ins go during the weekday and on weekends book your appointment.Cute little vehicles, TVs, and there a section for older kids, and princess salon. They also sell toys and accessories which is good but some items are a bit pricey. I still buy the toys because it calms my little ones when they are getting their haircuts. The staff is great and friendly!

How does this place have so many stars!? I have never seen so many bad reviews for a single hair salon. Why wont they do anything about the terrible cuts our kids get here? I feel so bad for that Mom who posted a picture of her sons terrible cut. My daughter got a similar cut (maybe not as chopped up, but definitely uneven) and I couldnt even take photos. I work in I.T. -- not hair -- and even I was able to fix my daughters hair a bit after they butchered it. The worst part was, my daughter sat perfectly still for the cut. She didnt even squirm. They simply couldnt do it right. Maybe its the cars?I dont know if the other reviewers got lucky or if theyre just bedazzled by all the fun extras. But this place has given my daughter consistently bad cuts over the 5-ish times we went. I tried different employees thinking it was a few bad apples. But always she left with crooked bangs. I wanted to like it because the idea is great, the location is great, my kid looks forward to the balloon, and the price would be right if the cut turned out nice. But I will give all that up in a heartbeat to get a normal cut for my kid -- and I did.

Easy to make an appt online and they honor appt time. They were accepting walk ins too. Staff is friendly and efficient. They cut our son’s hair in about 7 min. It was his first haircut and they were sensitive to that (let us keep some baby hair). They have fun cars for kids to sit in and they have TVs w/ Elmo at each station. $22 for toddler boy haircut.

This place is the place for kids. Our now toddler is a frequent customer. He used to be irate and borderline madman with anyone touching his hair, but here hes happy and normal and trust everyone who cuts his hair here. We drive 1 hr to come here because its worth the drive.

The lady did a great job. It was my sons first haircut. He is 3. His hair was really long and beautiful but he was ready to get it cut. He picked out his own cut and she made it look exactly like the picture. They also have really cool toys for sale. Thank you!!!

Took my daughter there for the 1st time period Lucy was great gave her exactly what she wanted. We cut off 11 of hair for her to donate and she was so happy with her hair cut. This is her new go to place.

I’ve taken my son to get his hair cut at Sharkey’s twice now. Both have been great experiences. The staff are quickly able to adjust to my son’s mood and temperament to get him to a place where he will be still/cooperative enough to get the best cut possible. You definitely pay more than other places. I highly recommend making an appointment over walking in. On weekends, it can be very busy and noisy. Between the movies and tv shows playing, video games, bright colors, toys, and kids running around, the energy can be overwhelming.

Its nice for the kids they enjoy it... my opinion is they need to give people that know how to style hair better... The ladies are nice and theyre very patient with the kids but I think they need more practice and more modern style of haircuts

Set up an appointment so you dont have to wait so long. They are good with kids and get the hair cut done quick.

This place is awesome for kids! My two girls, ages 10 and 4 cant wait to return each time and the little one begs to visit even when she doesnt need a hair cut. They cut and style plus add a coat of nail polish. My 10 year old had a party there where her friends got makeovers and dressed in fancy dresses. They even have sizes for older girls like my tall ten year old. The stylists are kind and treat the kids with respect and the atmosphere is uplifting. The emoji pillows are a hit with my 10 year old.

Great place for your childs first haircut. They offer various packages to fit your needs and the stylists are all every well trained to work with children of every age.

These people deserve your respect and a shot of alcohol. They are patient, kind, and cheerful. We took my son here and they did everything they could to make sure his first haircut was enjoyable. We will be revisiting for the next haircut, and the one after that.

This is a great place for kids. However if youre looking for a special haircut, I wouldnt say the hairdresser we had was particularly careful. In fact, my granddaughter ended up with a cut that was questionable. She did love the whole experience however!

This was our first & last time going here. I thought that this being a place for kids that they would have more patience with kids & more experience but I was wrong! They were so quick & when they thought they were done I had to tell her several times to go over some parts of his head! As a mother I can be there to assist her if help is needed (btw I was holding my sons head the entire time) but as far as me telling you how to do your job & cut my kids hair right was a no go for me! She didnt even line up my sons hair from the back nor checked behind his ears either! This place may look good inside for kids but if you want a GOOD haircut youre better off going to a barbershop.

Ive taken my son 3 times to this place for a toddler cut and all 3 times theyve ruined my sons hair. I do not recommend this place. I do like how they have toys and videos playing while kids get their cut.

My son had a hard time getting his first cut so I was told to bring him here. We come here now and he is getting his haircut without any issues. They do great with small kids and he loves coming here.

My daughter got her first hair cut here. The place was nice, clean and she loved the Princess chair. They gave her a free balloon and lollipop too. Awesome fun for kids. However, the haircut she received was absolutely hideous. We came back the second time to fix it, and then it got even worse. They have everything figured out here except for hair cutting.

I took my 1 year old son for his first haircut here; I was SUPER nervous because I am such a picky person and didn’t want my sons haircut to come out bad but I was very satisfied with the service! Adrianna was the lady who cut his hair and I love it. I totally recommend.

I came here for my sons first haircut because its a salon specifically for kids and advertises that they are patient with children getting their first haircut. They also seemed to have good reviews. We had an appointment but waited 25 minutes for his stylist to get to us. The car chair wasnt very clean, nor was the place overall. I watched a little boy have his haircut before my son, then she blew out the hair with a blow dryer. There was still clearly hair inside the car. She cut his hair really fast and because of this he has no sideburn on one side of his head. It just goes straight across horizontally from the top of his ear. I actually had to fix both sides so the part over his ears looked ok. Although I booked a first haircut and wrote first haircut on the sign in sheet I had to remind them at the counter when I was paying that I wanted the package including the little certificate and photo. We were not satisfied at all with our experience and will not be coming back. Still gave 2 stars though because other than the above, most of his hair is even and decently cut, they had kid shows playing on a tv nearby and offered a balloon when we were leaving.

If I could give it negative stars I would. Totally ruined my grandsons hair. She rushed thru the cut and was annoyed we kept telling her it wasn’t straight, all that did was cause her to ruin it more.

The place looks very clean and new equipment..... I took my 7 years old son here,hair cut was done in 12 minutes, and paid $25.00,I didnt mind the price, but I was very unhappy with my sons hair cut. She didnt blow away the hairs from the neck or clothing and didnt clean the sides with the little blade they use. I asked for it and she said was not necessary.... like, this was my sons first hair cut..... seriously.

I was very happy with our experience today. It was our first visit. My 2 year old son hates getting his haircut. Despite the super cool cars the kids can sit in, tvs, video games, etc....he still wasnt having it. We received help from numerous employees for various things and Adriana stayed calm and gave our son a good cut.

First and last time. Took my 2 year old to this place. I explained to the lady how I wanted my son haircut. She looks confused, like she did’nt know how to cut a child’s hair. Long story short, she mess his hair up. Even after I kept on telling her how to do her job, she still left his hair un even...Very disappointing and on top of that had to pay 22$!! The money is not the issue, is the service!

Very disappointed! took my 20 month old yesterday for a cut, this is the third time coming here(his third hair cut) and the lady who cut it clearly did not know what she was doing! the hair is all sorts of different lengths.. very disappointed! the first two cuts it was from the same lady and no complains with her .. but this last cut was horrible!

Great Place for kids haircuts, brand new Disney Theme equipment (nothing old and/or bored), everything works good and the little ones can stay happy & quiet while theyre having a haircut. Really nice staff!

They do a great job with the haircut, have a fun environment for the kids, and weve never had to wait an unreasonable amount of time for a walk-in visit.

Made an appointment and was there 5 minutes before and had to wait just under 30 whole walk ins were taken ahead of me. Finally get with the “stylist” Hilda and am told by her that she can’t buzz the line straight. Um, what? How can you be a barber then? Left immediately and let the receptionist know why I was leaving. This place is trash.

Very unhappy with my sons hair cut first off, the salon looks cute when you first walk in. But once you walk up to a car (chair for the kids cut) it is filthy! Covered in sticky residue and tons of hair. They were not very welcoming upon arrival and we did have an appointment, granted it was 20 minutes before closing. They should not have accepted our appointment if they did not wish to see customers at this time. The stylist didnt speak much English, I explained what I wanted and showed her my husbands haircut and told her that is what we would like for our son. Asking that no buzzers be used she said yes I know I know, she cut his hair so unevenly and still USED A BUZZER and left a line of hair on his neck. She had no patience for him and it was his first hair cut, we are so disappointed with the whole experience and the hair cut. We will not be returning customers, not recommended if its your childs first cut or they are young and a bit anxious at times.

To make a long review short : fast, well done, excellent staff.The toys theyre selling at the front door (on the ground so kids can grab it themselves) are a little annoying.

I would highly NOT recommend this business. Very poor haircut. When I expressed my concern with how uneven my sons hair cut was she said she didnt undertand why I was disappointed and walked out. I was made to pay the $20 and left with a terribly aweful haircut that requires me to go straight to another salon for a fix.
