Marbella salon did my hair and make up for my wedding the beginning of October and I was thrilled with their services.Eduardo was communicative through all the reschedules and up to the date, took care of myself, family and bridesmaids. The stylists that did our hair and makeup exceeded my expectations and even figured out a way to keep my hair nice before the photos (since it was raining that day).I would highly recommend The Marbella Salon and use them again.

I went yesterday as I decided last minute while at work that I just had to get my hair cut. As many others had done, I bleached my hair during quarantine and did fun colors, and while yes it was fun for the time, I also destroyed my ends! I was looking for a salon around the area that had reasonable prices for a haircut as well as good reviews and Marbella was it! I scheduled a 6:30 haircut and they were on time, extremely welcoming and great conversation. Eduardo saw the pictures I had got as a reference and was able to give me a haircut that I’m extremely happy with and I feel like it fits ‘me’ better than when I was trying to just grow it out. For a first time visit, as well as me trying to find a new stylist, I’m extremely happy I visited Marbella and am looking forward to using their services in the future, I can not recommend them enough.

Mike Anthony does amazing art with hair color. He has given me 🌈, fall leaves, and galaxy in the most vivid colors. I’ve even trusted him to do what ever colors he wants and each time it’s unbelievably amazing. I always get so many compliments.

I am so happy I found Sydney at Marbella Salon. She has done my balayage twice and it is perfect. She looks at your hair and what it needs and explains the process clearly to you. She knows what she’s doing and knows how much color/bleach your hair can or cannot take. I love that she never tries to sell or push me into anything. My hair has never felt more healthy and I get compliments all the time. Highly recommend!

I visited Marbella this week for the first time and could not be happier. After having the same stylist for many years, she retired during the pandemic shutdown and I was quite nervous about finding someone new. With Eduardo, I found that I had absolutely nothing to worry about. He is a gifted stylist and such a positive, kind person. I love the salon and the staff makes you feel welcome and at home. -- and I now have a GREAT hair cut.

My husband and I have been going to Edward for over 20 years. He is very professional, knowledgeable and always provides such wonderful service. Ive been meaning to write this review for quite some time now. I got my hair cut by Eduardo several months ago. It was the most I had ever paid for a haircut and was by far the worst one Ive ever had. He cut my hair way shorter than what I had asked for, didnt feather the ends at all, and gave me very choppy, uneven face-framing bangs/layers. It was also around Valentines day so he was asking if I had a boyfriend and if we were going to go out, and that if my boyfriend didnt take me out, that he would, etc (this went on for a while). I know he wasnt being serious about taking me out, and Im not sure if he was just trying to make me feel good or make me laugh, but it made me very uncomfortable and, in my opinion, was very unprofessional. Afterwards, I went home and cried over my $100+ haircut looking like a $10 one and ended up going to a different salon the same day where one of the girls there fixed up my bangs for me. I know Eduardo has a lot of great reviews (which is why I went here), so Im not sure if he was having a really off-day or something, but I just wanted to share my experience that I had.Response to owners response:I have attached some pictures for proof.No, it was not under a different name. You may want to get a better system if it does not accurately keep track of your customers/appointments.As you can see from the photos, the service I received was a haircut and the total I paid was $122. I did not tip over 20% because I was unhappy with the cut and the experience, which means the haircut was around $100. I was shocked when you told me the total price because I was supposed to have the first-time discount, but you said you had already applied the discount and that it cost that much because it took you so long to cut my hair.

Eduardo took me as a last minute appointment after my scheduled stylist at another salon was a no show. It ended up being serendipitous because Eduardo gave me the curly cut I have been looking for. I’ve gone to other stylists advertised to be experts with curly hair only to be disappointed. Eduardo was able to look at several inspirational photos I brought, assess my hair texture, facial features and body frame to consult me on what would look best on me. And then he delivered the fullness I wanted and wasn’t afraid to do short layers. My hair is pretty damaged and thinning, but Eduardo did a fantastic job of giving me a cut that makes the most out of it. I will 100% be back.

Okay so I spent a long time looking for a hair stylist and salon. After some research I found Marbella Salon. While it was quite far for me, it was totally worth it. I trusted the reviews and made an appointment with Eduardo who is absolutely amazing! He cut and styled my hair to what I had in mind, since then I have gotten many compliments and my hair feels so much healthier and lighter. He listened to my concerns and recommended a keratin treatment. I went back (YES, I went back) and I am so satisfied with the results!!!! He recommended a shampoo, conditioner, and cream to maintain my look. Not only does my hair look good, it smells good. I couldn’t be happier. Eduardo’s service is exceptional. He reached out to me to see if I had any questions or concerns. The salon itself is beautiful and the music they play in on point This is definitely my home salon now!! Best cut Ive had in years! The salon was clean and both stylists followed proper COVID safety procedures! Eduardo started my appointment with a very thorough consultation, he asked for pictures of what style I was looking for and gave me his professional opinion on what would work best for my hair type and styling preference. Im a natural brunette and with Marbella Ive gone from shoulder length to very stylish pixie cuts in both starburst pink and platinum blond! Whatever youre looking for, youll find it. Setting up an appointment is very easy - Eduardo had me send him pictures of my current hair and the cut I wanted to go to in advance via text. We made a plan before I even arrived in the salon! I walked out with exactly what I wanted, a high quality style and cut for a very reasonable price. And, bonus - free dedicated parking!

I’m new to Houston and was getting my hair done for my birthday. My boyfriend found this salon and as soon as I walked in, I loved the atmosphere and the professionalism. I automatically knew I had to get my hair done here after a long and dreadful 4 years. Mike stayed over an hour past close to finish my hair. It was almost a 4 hour job. Had such a great experience and I love my new hair!

I’m gonna start off saying that the man working, I didn’t catch his name but he was really sweet. He seemed like a good person and we got along great. The reason why I’m giving two stars is because I had called previously in the day about just a haircut. He asked me if I was getting a mans haircut or if the haircut would be for me. I proceeded to tell him that it would be for me and he said it’d be 45 dollars. When I got to the salon for my appointment, all I did was have him cut it. He wanted to wash my hair but I said just a dry haircut would be fine. Nothing else was done or used and my total was 66 dollars. I told him “I thought you said it was 45” and he responded saying that it was only 45 for a mans haircut. I did give him a tip because he was very nice but I don’t think I’ll be returning. I feel scammed by having to pay almost 70 dollars for a dry haircut, without getting it washed or anything else being done.

I love it. I have super curly hair (I’m mixed so it’s a combination of super tight coils and kinky in the back) HE CUT MY HAIR TO PERFECTION!!!!! I hadn’t had such a good experience in a long time so I’ll DEFINITELY be coming back here every 6 months for a trim!!!

My wife and I have been getting our hair cut by Eduardo for a long time now, but when it came to her wedding hair and makeup she decided to go with a traditional airbrush and updo – and she said that was a big mistake. The stylist and makeup artist she booked with skipped down and she found out just three days before her bridal portrait. Luckily I was getting my hair cut that day and asked Eduardo for advice and he said Victoria at the salon could come in (on her day off!) and do her hair and makeup. She thought it was absolutely stunning and was the perfect natural elegant look that she wanted. So she booked Victoria to do her wedding hair and makeup. Victoria and Bobby did a fantastic job for her and her bridesmaids for such a good price. They were fun and really listened to what everyone wanted. She will definitely have Victoria do her hair and makeup for future events!

Ive been a client of Mike Anthony well before he joined Marbella. Hes always been a professional but also very kind and really loves his job. My girls, aged 4 and 7, also love seeing him because he makes them feel so beautiful and gives them the royal treatment. They look forward to each visit with him as do I. I make the drive to see him but he is worth it.The salon itself has a very relaxed vibe. The stylists all seem to work well as a team and help each other out like any good team should. There are two reserved parking spots in the front of the building as well as a parking area in the back and on the side streets.

I came in to have my roots done. simple. We had talked about a nice, icy blonde. I left with a yellow head and was told purple shampoo will fix it. if i wanted a cheap-looking outcome, i would have gone to a cheap salon. when i brought up my concerns to them, multiple times, they did not respond for days. & again, told me to use purple shampoo. so unhelpful, so unprofessional. any respectable salon would tell me to come in and have it fixed. this was not worth my $300. Next time I’ll just do my hair myself.(the guy doing my hair was very nice, but i am more than unhappy with the outcome)

Ed is amazing! He can tell you what looks good, what the trend is and he is truly a master at cutting and styling hair. After Ed cut my hair for the first time several people told me it was the best hair cut that Ive gotten. My hair is very straight and heavy, Ed knows exactly how to cut it to make it bounce and give it body. His prices are reasonable too for the area. I highly recommend Marbella Salon.

I’ve been searching for someone who can cut my crazy hair with my strange texture and cowlicks for 13 years. Eduardo has transformed my naturally weird hair into something absolutely beautiful! I’ve been getting so many compliments. I really just wanted it cut off as short as possible. He sculpted it into the most gorgeous form. Way beyond my expectations. I finally feel like my hair is my best feature for the first time in my life. I’d truly hop on a plane to follow him wherever he goes. You get what you pay for. I had an amazing experience at this salon with Mike and Eduardo! The space itself is beautiful and bright. Like most women, I havent had my hair done since pre-covid, but my reasons for wanting fresh hair cut and color were more important. I am a travel nurse, and have been working in the epicenters of the pandemic since January. I left New York and came right to Houston, and finally going home tomorrow to see my husband. I didnt want to show up looking as haggard as the past few months made me feel. The whole environment of the salon was so relaxing, and they dont rush to get you in and out. The conversation is so easy that you feel like youve been coming there for years. And most importantly, I left with hands down the best hair Ive ever had. Marissa was amazing!!! I had virgin hair and was terrified to dye it. When I walked in, she made me feel more confident. She was very honest and actually cared about the integrity of my hair. Excellent place to get your hair cut. I praise specifically Eduardo for his great cuts and even better attitude. Additionally, the staff around him seem extremely nice, assisting in washing my hair and getting water for me any time I come there. Parking is generally not a problem, so it is a highly efficient process. Location is also great as it’s close to Montrose so you can go to dinner or big event looking good.

When I moved to Houston, I was worried about finding a new hair stylist. Eduardo immediately put those fears to rest, and over the last two years, I’ve gotten consistently wonderful haircuts. Plus he’s great to talk to. Highly recommended!
