Exceptional experience! All staff from front desk to technician to Doctor were very friendly and professional. I drove over an hour just to use this office and will continue to do so! Well worth it!

Both doctors I saw were very detailed and explained everything they were doing. The staff who helped me were pleasant and professional.

I arrived at 8:53 for a 9:00 appointment, with plenty of time to complete the health questionnaire and check in. At 9:30, I still had not been called back. I asked the receptionist for an estimate on the wait time and was told a room was being prepared and it would only be a couple of minutes more. I was called back at 9:33 and instructed to sit in another waiting area as a room was unavailable and it was unknown how long it would be before one would be free. During my wait, two patients who arrived after me were called back (although they could be seeing a different doc). I overheard receptionists call two individuals in for appointments today due to cancellations and heard one tell an actual patient with an issue they couldnt be seen because they were extremely busy. The patient was instructed to visit Callahan Eye Clinic or find another EyeCare Associates office in order to be seen.Appointments exist for a reason. If this was a walk-in clinic, or they were working me in, I could understand the wait. Waiting indefinitely for an appointment made in advance is unacceptable and borders on disrespect.

Everyone at Eyecare Associates in Hoiver was nice, friendly and professional. Dr. White answered all of my questions about trying a new type of progressive contact lens. I was very well satisfied with my visit.

Since the first visit Ive been very very pleased. Dr. Schwertz is our whole family eye doctor and she is the sweetest and most amazing with our kids and ourselves. All the techs that weve worked with are also amazing as well as the front desk and the store staff. Highly recommended.

Excellent eyecare and excellent service. Dr. Hines explained things clearly and thoroughly. Staff were careful with Covid-distancing procedures . Clerk was careful with insurance processing, making sure to arrive at the correct copay. Recommended ECA to a friend the very day I had my visit.

Not very caring!!!!! My son lost his glasses out of town and they would not give us his prescription so he had to go days without being able to see. Everyone in our family used them but we will never use them again and we will tell all of our friends not to use them.

I took my teenage daughter here for her first eye appt. They staff was knowledgeable, timely, thorough and kind. I am planning to switch my eye care here as well.

EyeCare Associates in Hoover are the only people I trust with my eyes!!! Call Lisa she can get you setup with an exam and then help you with your contact or glasses needs! I love my Silhouette and Maui Jim glasses!

I had a very pleasant experience. The staff were very professional and implemented measures to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Temperature was taken before entering and only a few people were let in at a time to effectively have social distancing. I especially appreciated the gentleman (I forget his name) that help me pick out my frames. He worked with me to find a pair that fit properly versus putting me in something and not helping at all - which has happened to me before.

I have used Eye Care Associates exclusively for all eye-related medical issues, eye exams, glasses and contacts for years, and would not consider going anywhere else. All staff members are friendly and caring. I have complete confidence in Dr. Hammonds and her staff. She truly listens to my issues and concerns and is thorough in her examinations and treatment, and I believe that her prompt treatment has helped maintain my vision at more than one critical time.

The whole team at Eye Card Assoc is awesome! This is the second ECA that I have been to (I moved to the other side of town, plus my original Dr retired). And BOTH locations have been so incredibly friendly as well as knowledgeable!! .... And I have to say that Lisa is the best one ever who has helped my pick out the perfect glasses and fit me in them! She’s knowledgeable but more than that she got to know me and what I like, plus is always willing to be honest in what looks good on me.

Dr. Hines and staff were amazing! They were so genuine and down to earth. It made the process feel less formal and rigid. They were personable and informative. A special shout out to the optician that walked me through the whole process of picking out my first pair of glasses. She was such a blessing! The staff and service was excellent. I really liked Dr. White she made me feel very comfortable and I felt like I was valued as a new patient. The staff at the front desk was super friendly I have to say it was an enjoyable experience all the way down to picking out my glasses. I was not left unattended and that spoke volume so heck yeah I will be referring people to you! Five Stars is my recommendation! 😘😘😘

Dr. Hammonds and her staff are fantastic. Any time I have a problem they are quick to find the solution. And if my glasses need adjusting they are eager to do whatever I need to make sure it is right. I am always made to feel very comfortable and taken care of when in their care.

After having a terrible experience with a well known eye clinic down the road, this was a breath of fresh air! The staff and doctor were amazing! The doctor actually took time with me and made sure I was trying the correct contacts. ... not the ones that would make them the most money! I also took all three of my kids with me and they were so good with them! I will never go anywhere else!

As usual the staff was professional and patient.Leigh is absolutely fantastic at helping with contact fittings; getting just the right prescription, proper material and correct fit for optimal vision and comfort.The whole staff is efficient without rushing patients through. My son and I were very impressed with EyeCare Associates ! First of all they worked us in from another Eyecare place that mistakenly made an appointment for us after driving an hour to get there, we found out they did not take our insurance. The staff was very polite, friendly and helpful. Dr. Hines and her assistant took extra time with us making sure all our questions were answered especially with my 12-year-old who is interested in Contacts.The eye clinic is beautiful and they have a very nice selection if you were needing glasses. I highly recommend EyeCare associates and we are looking forward to our next appointment. 😊

Every time I have an eye appointment at Eyecare Associates I am greeted as soon as I walk in the door with a very friendly hello. I think that everyone that is there takes very good care of me and give me the attention that I need. They pay attention to details and make you feel very comfortable. I recently wanted to try contact lenses and I was very hesitant to put them in my eye. I was basically given a class as far as how to put them in my eye. They were very patient with me and answered all of my questions. Dr. White is a very beautiful and kind Dr. I am grateful to be a patient at EyeCare Associate.

I would highly recommend using Eye Care Associates!! Every person in their office was so friendly. They informed me about what was to come throughtout the visit, I was never just sitting there for long periods of time wondering what was going on. Dr. White was great!! She listened to all of my concerns and discussed them with me. She genuinely cared about what I had to say. I am so glad I chose to use them!

I am always greeted cheerfully and treated with respect. Dr. Hammonds is always ready to listen and work to resolve my vision issues. I wouldnt want to go anywhere else for my vision needs.

We arrived at 4:30 for my 4 year olds 4:40 appt only to discover there was no appt on the schedule for him-despite our text confirmation and a phone call. So, we took an available 5:10 appt (30 minutes longer to sit in the waiting room with an antsy kid). We were finally called back but didnt see the dr until an hour later. THEN when we picked up his glasses over a week later we were told they were too small and that the lady who took the order should have told us that when we picked them out. So we had to order another pair!!!! We will not be returning to eye care associates in Hoover.

Was able to see me on the same day due to an eye injury. Dr. White was very nice and concerned about my eye health. Will return for routine exam.

I went there while they were super slow and let them know that I was on my lunch break and needed my broken glasses fixed. She continued to help other people skipping over me. When she made it to me she was super slow. My entire hour was consumed and we got no where.

I love Dr. Hammond and all the people that work there.
