Absolutely the best dentist I have been to. Great atmosphere in the office with great staff. Dr. Sampson knows his stuff and only does what is necessary and doesn’t do more than is needed unlike my previous dentists. I always felt like I went in for one thing and came out with multiple issues and charges but that has not been the case at Dr. Sampson’s office. If you are looking for a great dentist I highly recommend this office!

I cannot say enough good things! I cracked my tooth and had to have it fixed with a crown. Dr. Sampson took great care to explain things to me, he showed me what kind of crown I would be getting before we started, stopped along the way during my procedure to give me time to rest my jaw, and did a great job. He worked very quickly and once I was numb, I was out of there in no time with my new crown! I highly recommend him.

Dr. Sampson and Laurie, my dental hygienist, are the most caring and competent dental care providers I’ve ever had. I used to be so scared to go to the dentist, but now with Laurie, I’m so comfortable I look forward to my appointments. I’ve been to several hygienists over my lifetime, and she gives the most thorough cleanings I’ve ever had. Laurie and Dr. Sampson take time to answer my questions, they don’t seem rushed during my sessions, and they easily fit me and my boys in for extra services when necessary. I have been going to them for 7 years, and now my 3 children go here as well. Dr. Sampson is very fair in his prices too, as our old pediatric dentist was much more expensive I felt he charged us extraneous fees. Highly recommend! You won’t be disappointed!

I had a wonderful experience at doctor Sampson’s office . My uncle is a dentist and he is the only person that touches my teeth but since I moved from Miami to Alabama I was unable to get any procedure done because I was uncomfortable with anyone besides my uncle . The ladies at the front desk on to the back was super friendly and willing to answer any question I had. Doctor Sampson was so cool and not in a rush at all he explained everything into detail . Our family loves Sampson Dentistry. They are always running on time and my appointments are quick and efficient. We lived in another city from 2010-2014 and while there I had thousands of dollars of dental work done. My dentist told me that I needed another expensive crown and I decided to wait. I started going to Dr Sampson in 2014 and have yet to need that crown. He is as honest as they come.

Recently switched over to this dentistry and I was not disappointed! Every staff member was so kind and treated me like a friend. My hygienist Laura was also exceptionally joyful but they were all wonderful. I was there for a wisdom teeth consult but they also got some xrays done, fit me in for a cleaning, and Dr. Sampson checked out some sensitivity going on and talked me through it. Cleaning was pain free and I was in and out of the office in under an hour. Laura also told me about a way to save money with my insurance that I would not have known about. I know they were busy but they did all that for me regardless! They walked me through what I had to pay and why and gave me advanced notice that I might get a small bill in the mail and for what reason. So appreciative of these people!

A friendly mask covered face greeted me as I waited in my car shortly after I arrived for my appointment. I was asked to use the hand sanitizer upon entering the locked office. I was given a mouthwash before and after my cleaning to minimize bacteria. As usual everyone was courteous and professional. I never had to touch anything, including the door as I left. As always, I highly recommend this office as my family and I have been patients for many years.

UPDATE: 3/17/21If things weren’t amazing enough, I decided to ask Dr Sampson about straightening my teeth last year. He recommended ClearCorrect, and after 6 months my teeth are straight! I had braces as a teen but that experience took well over 2 years. 20 years later, 1/4 of the time and cost for perfection?! I’m so glad I asked and he delivered! Thank you!!Laurie has been my hygienist for over 8 years and I always feel spectacular after leaving her room. She has always had a smile in her voice and one can tell she is a happy person at work. Under the care of happy Dr Sampson for previous pearly white needs, he is a relaxed professional that tells you what’s going on using layman’s terms. My husband and I just had our first appointments at Sampson Dentistry and we couldnt be more satisfied. The entire staff was welcoming, friendly, and understanding. The facility is beautiful and has a relaxing atmosphere. Dr. Sampson is very friendly and knowledgeable. He took the time to go over my dental radiographs and actually point out all the the vulnerable areas on my teeth, and provided real advice (more than just the brush and floss speech) to help prevent future tooth issues. I am a new resident from out-of-state and was planning to contact Sampson Dentistry for my next six-month dental visit in early 2017. (My older son and his family live in Hoover and recommended Dr. Sampson to me and my wife).I developed a loose crown on a recent Friday evening, and intended to call Sampson Dentistry the following Monday morning to fix the problem. The next day (Saturday) I located their Website and completed the appointment scheduling form to see if that would help accelerate matters. Within minutes I received an Email from Dr. Sampson himself! He wished to be certain that I wasnt in pain, and said that Id be contacted Monday morning. At 8:01 AM on Monday morning I received a call from his office and scheduled me in that day.The office was busy, but my wait was brief. Dr. Sampson and his team were very attentive, and Dr. Sampson did an excellent job repairing a very broken base tooth, and reinstalling the crown. Understanding that the repair wont last forever, Dr. Sampson also discussed possible options down the road.I am in my late sixties and have visited more than my fair share of dentists in my lifetime. Sampson Dentistry is the best!

Dr. Sampson and his staff were very calming and made me feel relaxed.It was my first visit to their office and I didn’tknow what to expect. They told me I needed a crown on one tooth and a filling on another tooth that had a cavity. I had them do the procedure while I was there. It was totally painless and I am glad they were recommended to me by one of their patients.

As this was an important tooth, Dr. Savage not only saved it, he rebuilt it to where it now looks and feels like it did originally
