Its a clinic but not like all clinics. If your appointment is at 9am youll be seen at 9am. Everything from check in to seeing the doctor is run so smoothly. No long waits, no frustration equals Happy, healthy patients...best run clinic Ive ever been to. Doctors are so knowledgeable & caring it makes u feel so well taken cared of. There are all kinds of different specialists that are so on top of their game. I wouldnt change 2go anywhere else. I love everything about Queen Emma Clinics.

Need to be open minded and keep to thought that this is a clinic not a private office. The service they provide is thorough I many ways such as when your are schedule for an appointment they ask to arrive ample time, you sign unto computer system to alert everyone you are now on the premises, you then meet with a service receptionist where you get your parking validation and then basically reconfirm what your appointment for the day will be, you can also reconfirm other appointments or mention anything you would like to bring to your primary doctor attention. There are two waiting rooms and once you are called in your now in the hands if the nurse who takes care of your vitals. This clinic is also for medical students who are doing there internship with a Doctor overseeing their work. You are assigned to a Primary Doctor who you will see every time. The experience is can be overwhelming on first visit but you soon realize that upon your visit to your primary, any meds will be called in to pharmacy of choice, any visits to other Doctors will be arranged for you and a follow up call will always remind you up to 48hrs ahead of time for any appointments you have schedule.

Only go here if you cant afford better care. Its clear that the people at this clinic dont know what theyre doing. They convinced my wife to get birth control, and she told them that she cant be on the pill because it messes with her medication. They promised her that nexplanon would be fine, but it ended up cancelling out her medication entirely despite what they said. My wife had such a bad reaction to it that her mental stability was compromised and she ended up in the ER due to the negligence of her doctors. Thankfully she is fine now that the implant is removed but we seriously considered filing a malpractice lawsuit. We dont trust the doctors at this clinic anymore but theyre all we can afford. If you are in the same boat, do extensive research into the care you think you need before going to this clinic.

In person, the individual Student/Doctors are earnest and try their best.Your chance of getting through on the phone, however, is the same as winning the Hawaii State Lottery. They will phone, text, and message you four times to remind you of an appointment, but when you arrive, the Doctor cancelled and they didnt call to tell you not to go.Getting prescriptions refilled on time is haphazard since your reminders are recorded and when the prescription can be picked up is anyones guess.

It’s a clinic so it’s not like going to your standard primary care doc. My husband goes there and has no complaints. It IS extremely difficult to get through to a real human being but the place is clean and the staff is competent. Queens is a “mission driven hospital” which means they are willing to help work with you on payments and overall this is the best hospital in Hawaii. I give them 4 stars instead of 5 because of the difficulty in getting through past the idiot menu system.

It’s better than nothing if you have low-income insurance but not the best place. The receptionists are often rude (they interrupt me a lot) and have double-booked me.They require you to be weighed in front of everyone. I ask them to white out my weight on the appointment summary papers (I have eating disorder issues so seeing my weight is a trigger) and often times they just go over the number with a marker, leaving it clearly visible. They schedule your follow-up appointments without even asking you what time or day works, so be prepared to work around them.I’ve been on my psychiatric meds for 10 years and when I saw a psychiatrist for continued care at this clinic, he said a lot of things that completely contradicted the excellent care I’ve received for the last decade from someone else.My worst experience by far, however, was when they gave me the nexplanon birth control implant and didn’t tell me it would react poorly with my medication. I told them ahead of time that I cannot take oral birth control because it would cancel out my medication, and they assured me the nexplanon would be fine. I ended up having a horrible reaction to it and ended up in the ER due to their negligence.Again, better than nothing at all, but do a lot of research on the care you might need in advance because it seems like they don’t know what they’re doing.

Uses staged checkin with 2 lobbies. Uses electronic call board for customer check in. Efficient. They are screening everyone one on the way in to Queens for fever right as you enter the lobby area due to Corinavirus outbreak (January 2020).

The receptionist in front of computer got my whole appointment wrong. She was a local Polynesian lady mid 40s-50s. She made an appointment with me with my medical number then next day I came for my appointment and she told me I have two insurance and she had to check it but only told me when I came in office 8:30 am in the morning. After I caught an Uber to the medical center for $20 and now I have to use another Uber to go home which cost $20. If she would have save me the time and said I can’t come in I wouldn’t be out of $40 and in a need see a doctor for breathing and itchy scalp problems. Thanks a lot. The receptionist lady in front should be reviewed and see if she is fit to work the front desk. Please save people time and money.

Theyre pretty good. Its easy to check in, the waiting room has plenty of space, they coordinate well with the insurance carriers, bathrooms are clean and easy to find, and the providers are very personable.

I was in the middle of an appointment with their pain specialist. All of sudden he and his nurse said they were going to admit me. No reason, no explanation. I found myself being wheel chaired to their ER waiting room. No chance to ask why? I waited and waited, probably a total of 6 hours. Five oclock rolled around and the clinics were closed and there were still 3 people ahead of me. I felt like I was waiting for nothing. I told the ER receptionist that I was leaving. She said would be AMA. I sure was--I couldnt get an appointment for nothing and they told me if I was in pain Id have to go to the ER. I really feel like I was being thrown to the wolves. Arthur A. Ushijima the CEO, says we are here to care for you now and in the future with Compassion, Aloha, Respect and Excellence. I felt none of that on April, 22, much less since then.

The nurses are awesome...but the doctors suck. I have been under dr Hailey her attendants..dr court ..etc. once I read their doctor reports...I found out they have mixed up and false information in their statement summaries which goes to show how much they listen. They also put discouraged from any future testing...which is dangerous since I have a disease that they do not understand well. I do not feel safe under their care...and every time I have gone there there has been no diagnosis nor do I feel they truly cared. Im switching to Waikiki health center.
