I have been going to Dr. Chung for 5 years now and have recieved excellent care and service each time. I travel and have moved off island but still continue to come in to see DOC when I am on Island for my Botox and fillers. The environment is always welcoming, friendly and clean. Miradry was a life-changer for me! So amazing to be free of sweat and odor. I only wish I had been able to have this treatment years ago because I could have avoided much anxiety and embarrassment. For me, Miradry has been a miracle.

I did Miradry here in January 2021, I sweat a lot even without leaving home and using antiperspirant so I figured it was worth trying. The doctor told me it works really well for that, and that I would likely only see sweating from rigorous activity or very warm days. That was the case in the beginning, but after about a month I was almost back to pre-procedure levels of sweating unless I used antiperspirant. I referred someone who was mostly concerned about odor, they paid full price for their procedure too (don’t believe their “discounts”, we both got told we were getting an amazing temporary offer but it was the same for both of us). After my 3 month check in, the doctor basically said there’s nothing he can do if I sweat a lot before besides another treatment that will hopefully work, and that he could offer 20% off. Horrible deal for me. We saw the setting they used and it was definitely on the low end, If you sweat a lot don’t bother. He won’t solve your issues, and is hoping you’ll come back. Wasted my time coming in for him to basically tell me he’s not surprised it didn’t work and offer me 20% off to do it all over again.

Everyone in the office was very kind. The office is clean, professional, and has great parking. I was disappointed with the amount of politics the doctor wanted to talk. Also, I have had my veins injected twice previously (between babies) at half the cost and they were practically gone with those procedures. I had another baby and came to the vein and skin center (because I had moved) but I don’t think the amount of money I spent had a great result this time.

The Miradry procedure is the best investment I have ever made. I no longer stink, I don’t need to use deodorant, & I am no longer buying & taking body mint pills 3x a day.I really had bad body odor & use to shower at least 3 to 5 times a day. The Miradry procedure changed my life; I am no longer self conscious about offending others w/my offensive body odor. The procedure which requires burning the sweat glands under the arm is an easy procedure. It has changed my life & left me odor free! The procedure is the best investment & worth every penny!

I had a really great experience with The Vein and Skin Center of Hawaii. Dr. Chung was very patient and thorough in making sure I understood the procedure I was having and any questions I had. The office staff was really sweet and prompt with my questions and concerns in regards to billing especially Hana- really pleasant person to work with. Post Procedure my legs feel awesome, no more tired legs and bulging veins.

I really enjoy coming to this office! The staff is always very friendly and Dr. Chung is very professional, knowledgeable and caring and gives you lots of information before doing a procedure. He takes his time to answer questions whenever I have them and has never rushed in and out of my appointment times to run to another client.

I cant recommend this place enough for Lip Augmentation and Botox! Dr. Chung and his staff are so awesome and friendly with ZERO judgment. They did such a great job listening to my concerns and helping me correct uneven lips I had from a previous procedure at a different location. HE ABSOLUTELY NAILED IT!!

I have been seeing Dr. Chung for their hair treatment for about a year now. New hair started to grow immediately. My receding hairline took a little longer but starting to see a difference. I am very happy with the results so far and will continue my maintenance. My hair has thicken and doesnt feel as thin as before. Has made me feel more confident and not as fearful of losing all my hair in the near future. My receding hairline really hit me hard mentally. Didnt realize something like this would affect me!

I’ve had spider veins since I was 12 years old. I’m now 54 and each year they got just a bit worse. After my first series of 3 treatments at the vein and skin center I was very happy! A year later some spider veins came back slightly, so I had one more session. It’s now been a year and I have no evidence of spider veins in my legs. I’m very happy with the results.

They are a lifesaver. I go quarterly for botox in my jaw and Dr. Chung and his staff are always accommodating and friendly. I do not have continuous jaw pain and have not lost any teeth due to cracking since treatment. As a side benefit my face has also slimmed considerably.

They were very nice but the dr said my veins were not varicose and therefore, not a candidate for the treatment. He didn’t really explain what options I had since my veins hurt and turn black and blue. I left a bit frustrated. They were good otherwise.

Dr Chung is well versed and a professional. He diagnosed my buldging vein in the rear of my leg and corrected the problem. He is very nice and talked me through the procedure. I highly recommend he and his wonderful staff.

Great friendly and professional staff! I was a bit skeptical at first with the whole PRP treatments for my hair, I have to admit that the price was a little high to commit to at first but after the consultation, Dr. Chun really made sure that I understood the process and his warm welcome and genuine tone made me feel at ease and that this is the best choice - non surgical! I’m Very happy of my results thus far...it is amazing that I was able to grow back hair in spots where I was definitely balding...what an incredible and reassuring feeling! I’ve been going to Dr. Chun for a little over a year now and am happy to say that I’m now visiting less frequent to sustain and maintain. I did the MIradry procedure, and after 25 years I can choose any shirt in my drawer or closet to wear. I did it in late December; thus far, I have no underarm sweat or odor. I need to see how it is in the summer, but i feel confident Im finished with this irritation in my life. As side effects, I had a little swelling and some marks, but it disappeared quickly. No pain! Jolene did the procedure, and she was great. Dr. Chung and his staff have confidence in what theyre doing. If youve been plagued by underarm sweat I recommend Miradry at the Vein and Skin Center performed by their professional staff and with easy access to their office. Aloha nui loa.
