I was referred to Suzukoo from a friend. She highly recommended the services for eyeliner and shadow. I went to my first appointment and was immediately impressed with the set up, the cleanliness and professionalism of Makoto. At the end of the procedure, I was very happy with the results. I followed up at 6 weeks for my touch up shadow liner. Loved it! Painless!I also completed a Rebelle session. Makoto informed me of what to expect and the following days. I purchased the 5 session package. This procedure made my skin so soft. I also use much less facial products because my skin absorbs the product much better. Mako is truly a great microblading tattoo artist ..She won Championship trophies in World Competition doing eyebrows, etc.... she does very good detailed precise tattooing - puts her own creation and style in her work and she gives you beautiful evenly matched eyebrows for your face -- indeed, a notch up compared to other local business competition in HI. I like her quiet Japanese personality; office is clean, comfortable and nicely decorated for her customers. I highly recommend her ... but because she is so good, you have to wait over a month for appointment. Honestly, it is worth the wait.

I went to Makoto PMU Academy at Suzukoo Relaxation&Skin Design to learn semi permanent makeup. Makoto is one of the very few micropigmentation artists in the U.S. who can do hair strokes for eyebrows using the machine. Her art(eyebrow hair stroke, ombré, lips and eyeliner) is very natural and beautiful, that she won many prizes in various micropigmentation competitions in Europe and the U.S.Makoto’s teaching style is very organized and thorough. The textbooks are very informative. She makes sure you understand, and she teaches you very patiently until you are able to do the technique. Also, homework is very helpful because you get to practice at home on sheets of latex skin. You send the picture of your work to Makoto on WhatsApp, and she gives you feedback right away.I’m very happy that I chose Makoto Academy to learn micropigmentation. Makoto is such a great teacher and an artist, one of the sweetest people I’ve known who wishes you the best to be successful in your new career.

I have been here twice to get a lash lift with Mako and I was so happy with her service. I got my lashes lifted since I didnt want to fuss with extensions, and they were just right for me. When I curled my lashes, they definitely looked longer and it was perfect for a light/no makeup look! Professional, comfortable, and clean environment. Shes also very knowledgeable and friendly. Would definitely recommend, and will be back!

Notes: Oily forehead, all year long sensitive skin.One thing to note is Makoto use micropigmentation to tattoo hair strokes or shading. My first session was in November 2019 and a follow up touch up in January 2020. My brow has been striking for a year and till after a year it still look good and natural and the color didnt fade to brow/green. Received a lot of compliment from friends that saying it is natural. Makotos skill is one of the best and hair strokes are the finest I have seen in Honolulu. My natural brows are uneven shape and thanks to Makoto I have a more even brows now and especially during 2020 I appreciate lots as I no longer need to put any make up and to go out! The sessions cost consider on a high BUT WORTH EVERY PENNY! I recently just did a one year retouch, not because of loss of pigmentation. It is just me have OCD and totally my fault. I accidentally scratched off the scab(more like a very thin flake not an actual thick bloody scab) last year when it was healing. There was a tiny bit that was missing due to that only I noticed. It is a NO NO to scratch when it is flaking just a norm. so I just go into have Makoto to fix for me

Due to COVID and mask wearing my eye makeup kept smearing and decided to get it done permanently. Mako did an amazing job with my eyeliner. She took the time to ensure my comfort and did not rush to finish the job. Mako did a beautiful thin lining on the top and bottom part of my eye. I highly recommend using her for any permanent make up! With all the great results I have seen I intend to do more make up because she was awesome!

Very impressed with the ambience of the place. The view from the curtain wall was splendid and with peaceful music and relaxing massage, I was apparently snoring in no time. The deep tissue massage really worked me. Id definitely recommend to people who prefer a strong massage!

I love my eyebrows. I had a short eyebrows but now it looks nice now. Dont have to worry about drawing my eyebrows.Her cosmetic tattoo didnt hurt like I imagined. I was relieved because I dont like needles and pain. Mako said its because of her machine. Mako said she is always looking in to new skills and equipment so she can make customers beautiful.Makos eyebrow designs looked very nice and real. I cant imagined drawing each eyebrows but that what she does. I had such a wonderful experience with Mako. She did a fabulous job at microblading my eyebrows! They looked so natural that the following day when I went to work, no one noticed at all! When I told everyone in my office they were astounded. They said that the strokes looked like real hair. The color was also very natural.Yesterday, I had my eyeliner redone along with light shadowing. My eyes are a little puffy but the lines looks very symmetrical and not very thick, just the way that I wanted it to be. Shadowing is lightly done. I felt that I could always add on depending on the event of the day. I could also have it redone darker when I go in for the retouch, if needed.I spent about 3 hours for each day. It didnt seem so long at all. The time zoomed by!Mako is a very pleasant, interesting, and knowledgeable person. We had lots to talk about!

It has been over a year since I got my eyebrows done so the color was beginning to fade. The last time, I had my brows done in the bay area so Im not familiar with any of places in Honolulu. I decided to give this spot a try because of all the positive reviews and am really glad that I did. Mako is a real professional who takes a lot of pride and care in what she does. Every detail in her shop is meticulously set up for the comfort of her clients. During consultation, Mako was really informative and worked with me to create the perfect eyebrows for my face. She measured, marked, and then sketched what my brows would look like when she was done. The actual microblading was not painful nor uncomfortable at all. Mako takes her time and creates each brush stroke with precision. Every step of the process, Mako let me know what she was doing so I that I knew what to expect and the results were absolutely amazing! In addition, Mako is really sweet and makes you feel comfortable. She doesnt rush you and is very patient with the entire process. Part of the reason is that she only takes 2 clients a day so that she can give you her full attention. While she was working on me, the phone never rang, texts never beeped, and no customers walked through the door (She is appointment only). The entire process usually takes about 3 hours from consulting to finish but she took a little longer on me since I had old brow color that she had to work with. Overall, I am absolutely thrilled with the results. I highly recommend Mako for microblading - especially if its your first time! She is a gentle and patient perfectionist who truly cares about her clients. Im definitely going back to try her other services!Tip: The parking structure is in the actual building on Kalakaua ave where you will see a parking gate and attendant. Drive up to the attendant, and let them know where you are going. The attendant will provide you with written directions on where to park and the suite number of Suzukoo. After you park, you will need to take the elevator to the first floor. Then you will walk across to the next set of elevators that will get you into the actual building. Take the elevators on the left hand side up to your floor.

Mako has done Re Belle, 2B Bio for discoloration, brown blemishes on my face and it look better then what was, I notice its fading after second visit. Also it helps for acne, wrinkles and to tighten face. Mako also did Microblading and Ombre eyebrow tattoo for me and wow she did an awsome job, exactly what I wanted and more. I have gone to 5 others and none of them could match her !!! She does things with profession and she really does a great job! The shape is very natural and beautiful, so if you make a mistake in permanent makeup, you may be worried about what to do, but you can leave it to us without worrying about it at all!I was very happy because when I told them the image, they finished it like that ♡After finishing it, people praised me for having beautiful eyebrows, and I was able to shorten the time I had to draw my own eyebrows, and my makeup was quite quick and stress-free! We had you perform micro-pigmentation of eyebrows and eyeliner!With the latest machine, it also applies anesthesia cream, so there is almost no pain. I couldnt even scab.After all, Makos skill and sense are really good! Micropigmentation sputum can not be scabed, and it is about 1 without itching or painI settled down in a week. It is a pity that I can not retouch, but it is refreshing when I think of it as a green beard of art makeup marks for a while.

Aromatherapy has been added to body massage. The relaxing oil that Mika in charge advised me about how tired my body was was very comfortable, and I fell asleep at the end of the massage! Next time, I would like to try stress-relieving oil.
