Such a shame to leave such a low review, but if your children are not vaccinated they will not offer service to them. I really enjoyed this dentist. Very friendly staff. Im assuming that this is just for this office and not a mandate across the State. I wish I would have known that religious or medical exemptions of vaccinated are not accepted at this dentist office. We really enjoyed going here, but if this is the policy for here on out. This notice should be posted at all times. Even at the time of making a appointment.

From the minute my kids and I stepped in the door- everyone was so welcoming and sweet! It is such a nice and super clean dental office!The ladies up front were very friendly. The dental hygienist were so good with my kids, they were so sweet, and professional! And I got to meet both of the dentist and they were both phenomenal!! They addressed any concerns I had, were amazing and patient with my kids and they had such great bedside manners! We cant wait to go back! 😁🤩

This office was great. They had a clean area and looked very good. The dentist was kind and even though my daughter (1yr) didnt like it, he was gentle while checking her teeth and was able to do his job through her fighting. The nurses where kind, the one we had was especially kind, she took our daughters stuffed animal and played with her, pointing out the stuffed shark also had teeth, she tried her best to make her feel comfortable and less scared. Very kind people and overall a great experience.

Took my daughter today for the first time. She was really nervous. Everyone there were really great. So nice. I was in and out so fast. It was one of the best experiences Ive had a pediatric anything. Would definitely 100%, recommend.

This dentist office is amazing!! Everyone in there is so nice and work so good with the kids!! Our favorite girl is MO! She is amazing! My daughter doesn’t like the dentist! MO always makes her visit so comfortable and fun! You’re missing out if you are not a patient there!!! Keep up the good work!!!

The experience was wonderful. This was our first visit..I recieved a personal in depth conversation about the brushing habits of my kids, things to be aware of, why certain things were happening and why they werent. The process for things needed moving forward was a breeze, they let me know what will happen and how. Other dentists just said what needs to be done and schedule appointments. I felt so confident and reassured about the procedures needed. The friendly staff and warm atmosphere is what I want my kids to remember when going to the dentist. This is a great place. Will be coming back as new patients.

Like the office a lot. Staff was really friendly and nice to all 3 of my kids. Alexis, her hygienist was wonderful. Big, pretty smile ( you could see the smile in her eyes as she was wearing a mask). Plan to take my other 2 kids for their fist check up as well.

Spinnaker is absolutely the best place to take your kid. I promise you they will treat your child like they are their own. To be honest I took my son to another dentist in California, where I used to live, and he was screaming for help. It was so bad I had to intervene and stop the procedure. I feared it would be the same here, but as soon as they brought my son back it was like the warmest atmosphere. I just cant say enough.

This was my first time coming to Spinnaker pediatric dentistry and I’m glad I did! I took my 5 year old son their today & everyone was very nice! The building was extremely clean! I’m from a small country town & the equipment they used to do his X-rays was very nice & kid friendly!! I know it can be difficult at times working with younger kids due to a lot of crying and them not being able to follow directions as easily as others, but she was very nice & patient with him! I would definitely recommend anyone looking for a good dental home for their kids to come here!!

Great Dr. And staff. Nice clean facility. I dont like that they ask the parents to step out while the procedure is being done. My child is fully asleep and not aware of his/ her surroundings and can not defend themselves if need be. This is a deal breaker for me if I can not sit in the room with my child.

I took my 4 year old daughter here for her very first dental visit and they let us know she needed a few fillings and a crown and they’d have to use oral sedation (no other option was given) to do this. This being our first visit I wasn’t very comfortable, or knowledgeable, with oral sedation and the 3 or 4 different drugs, including a “memory eraser” they’d be giving her so I didn’t schedule the treatment, I instead went to a different pediatric dentist a little farther away from home to simply get a second opinion. I had called to get her records sent over and they were very nice and immediately sent them for me.This new dentist actually gave us an option to use nitrous oxide or have it all done at once with a pediatric anesthesiologist, unlike Spinnakers office who said it was only done with oral sedation. We had a great visit with this new dentist office and my daughters tooth actually flared up and she ended up having an emergency extraction, using nitrous, which they got her in for but they didn’t have any other surgery days until July for her fillings. I didn’t want to chance another flare up with the other teeth she needed fillings on so I gave Spinnakers office in Hinesville a call and told them what all was going on with her tooth and asked if they could get her in before July to do the fillings. The lady I spoke with said they had an opening in April but she had to talk with Dr Hodges and get back with me. 10 minutes later I get a call back and it’s a different lady and she very rudely let me know she spoke with Dr Hodges and he decided since I had went to another dentist office that he dismissed my daughter as a patient, which isn’t true because I never received any termination letter or phone call, and that we would do better to be seen elsewhere or to go back to the dentist they sent the records to. I was shocked and speechless. The lady then said why would you want to be seen here anyways if you already went to another office over ours, I said we did but they can’t get her in until July but maybe we shouldn’t come back and she said “great, have a nice day” and hung up on me. VERY unprofessional and rude. I wish I had a recording of this phone call to share with everyone.I felt uncomfortable in the office at her first visit and I had no clue why. I didn’t know if it was only because they said they’d be using mind erasing drugs on my daughter to place a crown on her tooth or if maybe I was being paranoid.My take away from this experience is to ALWAYS TRUST my mom gut and never second guess myself again.My husband and I go to the family dentist owned by the same owner as Spinnaker and they’ve lost all of our business for sure.I would never recommend this office or Dr. Hodges to anyone. I can’t shake the uneasy feeling I had the first visit and the thought of mind erasing drugs he insisted they use and in today’s world you can never be too careful with your children. Please reconsider before taking your kiddos here and don’t ever be afraid to get a second or even third opinion when it comes to your kids.

They are so great! If not, better then the reviews have said. First visit for my 15 month old. And at first she was so hesitant then slowly became very comfortable with them. They explain everything, answered any questions and make sure you fully understand the process of the visit before even touching the child patient. Also, they explain everything after the appointment and have room for any questions or concerns. Plus, make the next appointment right then and there. Everything was up to date, clean and very nice in the office. The ladies were very helpful & kind. First time in patient paperwork isnt long either. ( We all know how that is lol) I would recommend this office to anyone looking for a new dentist or is new to the who to trust as my childs dentist Ill be going back soon, for sure 😁😁

I took my children to this dental facility today and overall it wasn’t a very good experience. My son has special needs and was extremely nervous because he hasn’t been to a dentist in a little bit. He’s five and they kept mentioning that and telling him he shouldn’t be scared. There was also a point where he was crying that the X-ray tool was hurting his mouth andThey kept going and saying it shouldn’t hurt. I had to ask them what the heck was hurting him as my so. Was sobbing. Then again they said it wasn’t hurting and “just pressure”Lastly they brushed fluoride on my kids teeth. My son had a bit of a chunk in his mouth and wanted to spit it out and they told him to just swallow it? A huge glob of fluoride? Smh.

I was told to be here an hour early for my son appointment I was here way earlier than an hour and it was still almost an hour until he got called back into the office then another hour for his medication to work which I understand the medication part but if they would’ve got my son in at his correct time he wouldn’t been here so long and so hungry and the lady at the front desk let getting an attitude if this was your child begging for food then maybe she’ll understand they need to do a lot better in schedule if we miss an appointment y’all won’t see us ever again but if y’all are late y’all get an attitude with us I’m a single parent and work full time my time is just as important as y’all’s!!!!!!

Worst experience ever. I have a child with a phobia of dentist. There was never any outwardly show of concern for her fears. She was physically restrained and left worst than when we came. After missing only one appointment, somehow they had three missed appointments in their system. Who leaves a text message on a land line. Worst experience ever. She calls the dentist the mean boy and cries when we get near the building.

This dentist office is such a great addition to Hinesville! I take my teenager here for her teeth cleaning since she is still considered pediatric. The doctors and the staff are so professional and so nice. We never feel like theyve overbooked and we never feel like we are being rushed. Scheduled an appointment for both of my kids at this office and they cancelled the appointment without even notifying me. I took the day off of work and took my kids out of school to be seen. Unacceptable and a complete waste of time. Use surf side pediatric instead of this place!!
