Traci is a life changer. Finding the right place and person to do any procedures on your face is a very big deal. After spending countless hours researching, I went with Magnolia Medical Aesthetics mainly because of the reviews, lol. But honestly they were welcoming and accommodating from the time I walked through the door...late, might I add, and it was literally not a problem. No more being late for me now! I was so nervous about getting work done to my face but Dr. Chan calmed all my fears and worries of having a forever frozen surprised face or not looking like me. I felt like after turning 30 and having my son the beauty and life had been sucked out of my face. I waited 6 days to write this review. I was waiting for a promised call back and a response to an email I sent, but I have received nothing. So now I am going to review my terrible experience with Magnolia Medical Aesthetics. This could have been easily avoided if the owner made an attempt to rectify the situation and at the very least by apologizing for what happened.After seeing all the 5-star reviews, I booked a Hydrafacial with Nolvia Perez. Shortly after getting onto the table, Nolvia asked if I read all the reviews which I thought was odd, but said I read a few. She said, an African American woman left me a bad review. This immediately made things uncomfortable.Then the first time she touched the Hydrafacial wand to my face and did a few very quick passes on my forehead, I could immediately tell Nolvia was not experienced with Hydrafacial or she was ready to get me out of her room. She did very short, quick passes with the wand (so fast that she skid across my skin a few times causing her to hit my face), and she only touched 50% of my face.Things got worse from here. She told me I needed an enzyme mask to clear some blemishes. I told her that it was fine as I was really looking to clear some old spots and a couple of new blemishes as well. So I am laying down expecting a mask, but instead she starts doing extractions on me. This was never discussed, but I figured with her experience she would know what I need. I have never had such painful extractions in my life! She has caused so much damage to my skin by her extraction technique. I left there with blood on my face, and my blemishes were very minor coming in. There are 2 spots in particular where she slipped from squeezing so hard and removed skin! After this she applied the mask which burned my now open wounds, but I tolerated it still (for some reason) believing she might be helping my skin. The mask sat on my face for at least 30 minutes, but I think it was closer to 40. She did leave the room for a while as well. I was laying there wondering when my full one hour Hydrafacial service would occur. She never said we were doing a mask instead of the Hydrafacial.When she came back she started to remove my mask with an extrememly hot towel. Most estheticians shake their towels out before applying them, but I believe she put this one right on my chest and face. I even moved it as it was burning my chest so badly. She then used that towel to roughly rub over and over and over all over my face removing the enzyme mask. I have never experienced someone removing a mask in this manner. My face had just been squeezed, burned, now scrubbed with a hot towel. I don’t think any person would enjoy this or think it was professional.Once the mask was off she took the Hydrafacial wand to my face again, but this time she touched even less than before. One line across my chin, a few lines on my forehead, and sporadically on my cheeks. Also going very fast this time as well. Like nothing I have ever seen in any Hydrafacial video or have heard about from any of my peers. She then told me I need to wear Aquaphor for 5 days and book more treatments. I was so ready to run out of there I did not mention that I also asked for a lymphatic massage add-on, but I did not want her touching me any longer.I also asked if they had any reusable face masks so I didn’t have to wear my old dirty one in which she said they are up front. I didn’t understand why she wanted me to walk maskless there and couldn’t grab me one while I got dressed, but it’s fine. Nothing made sense during this time.Maybe the injections are a great service, but I do not recommend getting a facial.

I have had a facial here as well as a couple of visits for Botox. Dr. Bruce is probably the most personable physician I have ever seen. He is very professional and takes plenty of time to explain everything in great detail. The office is spotless and even during a pandemic, I have had no hesitation at all to go here. Extreme safety precautions are in place. I cant say enough positive things about my experience here.

The office is clean and well decorated! The office staff is always friendly! Dr. Chan is great! He is very knowledgeable, organized and thorough. My technician was Nolvia Perez. I booked this treatment as a gift to myself for my 35th birthday. At first, I was excited because she told me she had been doing dermoplaning for over 30 years, so I thought for sure she would take greater care of my and my skin. She started and she was VERY rough. I mean to the point that I was tensed up in the table and jumping every time she touched me. She was so rough that she left little cuts all over my face. So much for my birthday now. My face is literally on fire. She didn’t offer me any offer me any after care, or tell me how to treat my skin afterwards or anything. I also wanted to get other services which I was told on the phone that my esthetician would offer, but she never did. I was also surprised at how fast she was done, but not shocked as she seemed to be really rushing. I can’t put into words how disappointed and hurt I am that something I wanted for my birthday turned into a huge regret for me. On top of that, she even shaved my hair off around the edges😭😭 I hope my review saves the next girls birthday

Very elegant atmosphere, welcoming & spa like lobby. Loved my first visit and results were exactly as was told. I was in major car accident a year ago and his services helped make me feel better and more symmetrical with one side of my face that was effected by the car wreck. Anyone who has worked with the public for years, as I have, tends to hold others to a high standard - I cannot say enough good things about Magnolia Medical Aesthetics. I went for an initial consult with a gift card I received for my birthday. I was graciously welcomed when I arrived, offered a beverage and enjoyed sitting in their comfortable/relaxing reception room. Dr. Chan was a little behind on schedule, but, as with any good doctor, I later discovered through my own personal experience that he does not rush his appointments (and do keep in mind that, in any medical office, its usually the client putting the doctor behind). He wants every single client to have every question answered and every need met as possible. He encouraged me to use my gift card for my area of concern and then included a consult for other areas should I decide to return. Never was I pressured or felt I was being upsold by Dr. Chan. She is going to wait to call me the day of my appointment and notify me she is no longer taking new customers. How unprofessional is that? Why would you book me for a consult if you weren’t taking new appointments. An appointment is a commitment and she did not follow through. Then she is going to wait until after lunchtime to notify me. My appointment was for 2:30 and I had re-arranged my lunch. That was the same day of my mother’s birthday. If I knew she was going to cancel I would have taken my mom to lunch.I am very disappointed in this whole experience. My experiences up to this point had been so great that I never would have expected this to happen. please train your entire staff on customer service and professionalism.

Ill start off by saying I have never felt so disrespected to the point I felt it merited me leaving a review. I had a dermal filler injected into both my eyes and lips in May of 2015 by Bruce. Not only was the front desk staff unhelpful and unfriendly, they were not at all knowledgeable to boot. Bruce made no attempt to be personable to me or even assess what exactly I wanted. Simply recommended the filler, did 3 painful injections, smiled and waved me off. As 25 year old new to the world of fillers, I didnt have the slightest inclination my fillers had been botched. Considering the treatment I was given the first time, once I noticed the swelling beginning in my eyes, I did not feel comfortable holding this doctor accountable at first. Once I finally found a new doctor, all the way in Montana, her diagnosis was extreme Tyndall effect. Now that I finally have the courage to call this doctor Bruce character back and explain my predicament, hes not there, noone in the office can help me and circling back to the beginning, the customer service is still lackluster at best. Bruce is very fortunate Google reviews will not allow pictures however, Realself will and he can expect to see them there. If service and expertise is something you value, GO ELSEWHERE.

I Went to meet Dr Bruce Chan for a consultation for botox. After photos, education and discussion Dr Chan suggested Dysport. An alternative botulism injection much like Botox. I wanted to wait before I did my review to see my results. I saw many other reviews where Dr Chan was called a magician, he is nothing short of being a magician! To say I am a huge fan would be short selling how I feel about Dr Chan. I always had one eye that was the lower than the other my entire life and Dr Chan is the 1st to inject me properly to raise that brow. I now have both of my eyes level. It seems like most in this business of injectables just want you in the chair and out of the chair as quick as possible and on to the next patient where Dr Chan truly takes his time he is so approachable and extremely likable. I can guarantee you will feel very comfortable and informed during your visit.

I ONLY get my filler from a Plastic surgeon in Manhattan or another plastic surgeon in california. I have made the mistake a few times trying other places because I live in greenville now so I was willing to try the supposed to be the top people here( also i tried in Miami, Charlotte and Atlanta... Horrible and my lips were totally uneven, they told me that I had to purchase another syringe due to THEIR mistake(place in Greenville)!!! All I have to say is Dr. Bruce Chan is the BEST MASTER injector!!!!!!! Amazing! I think because he specializes in this and isnt doing everything he is the absolute best!!!!! When I told him a wanted to add some filler to a place that wouldnt benefit me he explained everything!! He could have easily taken my $ but he was honest!!! My friend cancelled her appointment in manhattan and is visiting in march and will be getting some botox and a little filler by him as well!!!!! He is very talented and I am sooooo happy I found this magician!!!! Thank You Dr. Bruce!!!!!!!

As the saying goes, youll never please everyone when dealing with the public but I can say with all sincerity that every experience Ive had with Magnolia Medical Aesthetics has been one in which Ive been 100% satisfied. Dr. Chan has given me Dysport on & off for 4 years & Ive found that I only need it once every 7/8 months. (But everyone is different - I know!) His Greenville office is a total Zen experience...I feel refreshed after I walk out of there & the injections are nothing more than a pinch. Ill be a customer for who knows how long bc I trust Bruce implicitly. (& his wife - who works there too, has a very genuine & kind personality. She was incredibly sweet to my 10 yo who waited in the waiting room one visit!)

Im torn, because the prices are good and the work is good, but their scheduling is the WORST Ive ever experienced. EVERY time Ive been there, Ive had to wait anywhere from 60 minutes - 90 minutes AFTER my scheduled appointment time even though I busted my butt to get a babysitter and get there at the scheduled time. This is really, really annoying. I have a schedule too. My time matters too. I leave there every time with my blood boiling. Im looking elsewhere for future services. :(

I have had the most positive experience at Magnolia Medical. I am 33 years old and moved to Greenville from Seattle where I had used Botox for about a year. Making the trasition to a new provider was scary, but I have been so pleased with my results and all of the positive feedback I get from people about my skin and how youthful I look.My use of Botox has been my little secret, but I want to share with those of you looking for botox provider that Magnolia Medical the place to go. Dr. Bruce is very skilled an knowledgable, and the treatments have been painless and very long lasting. Trusting someone with your face is a BIG deal, and I definitely recommend Magnolia Medical Aesthetics. Excellent value, even better results.

This is the Best medical spa in Greenville and actually was voted Best in the Upstate. Everyone of the staff are knowledgeable, welcoming, and very friendly. Dr. Ky has done my laser treatments for hair removal and I love the results! Saves so much time and money without having to shave all the time. Nolvia is an awesome Medical Aesthetician, I love having the hydrafacials with her! I also heard from the patients there that Bruce is one of the best injectors out there! I highly recommend giving it a try.

Purchased a Groupon for Botox, appt took several weeks, facility was nice, Dr Chan did mention that he had thought they removed their Groupon Offer- Paid EXTRA $200+ for additional injections that was 12/13/16 it takes about 2 weeks for the Botox to kick in by the last week of January 2017 it had already started to wear off by Feb 13 Full Movement has returned .. I could have simply saved myself $300 .

I visited Magnolia Medical Aesthetics on Thursday and was very impressed! Ive received many treatments and have been to several spas and medical spas and no other will compare because of Jamie. This was a very pleasant experience. The office is very clean and inviting. I was happily greeted by the receptionist and offered refreshments while I waited for my RN/medical Aesthetician named Jamie. Jamie called me back and was so bubbly. I could tell she takes care of skin. She is absolutely gorgeous! Her skin was perfectly flawless and she is so beautiful! I loved her immediately! I received a Hydrafacial which is similar to a microdermabrasion and chemical peel at the same time. Jamie made it so relaxing and comfortable and put me at ease during the treatment. It was painless! The entire time she explained to me what she was doing and how it worked. Ive never experienced a treatment by someone so educated and thorough! Afterward, my skin was glowing and it felt clean, refreshed and silky smooth. I was also interested in the Glominerals Luxe foundation, so I was matched with my shade and I absolutely love it! I will definitely be back to Jamie and you should see her too!

I Wasnt even acknowledged when I arrived. The woman at front desk sat on a personal call for 30 minutes before she went and told anyone I was there. Complete joke, horrible customer service.
