No one introduces themselves. No one sanitizes or washes their hands. I came concerned about how my wound from surgery done in this office was healing. Dr. Mccrary and his med. assistants lack of empathy. After being a patient for over two years, I lost all respect and trust in medical competence for this doctor and his med. assistants team.

Laura is the best hands down! I started seeing her in May 2019 for bumps and blemishes on my chin! I can’t tell you how good it feels over 40 years old being able to go without makeup for the first time in all my adult life!

I had an appointment with Dr. Parks in 2017 for a cosmetic visit and she noticed a few spots on me, had them sent off and sure enough they were melanoma, she took care of the surgery quickly and from beginning to end she made me feel like I was in very good hands. Could have been a very scary and uncomfortable process but she addressed any concerns I had and made sure I was thoroughly informed of each step, I never felt rushed and I felt she really listened to me. I look forward now to my follow up visits with her : )

I wish I could leave zero stars. Even though our insurance doesnt require a referral, they insisted on one. We got it to them promptly and over a two month period we left 4 messages and spoke to 3 additional people who NEVER called us back. Our referring doctor eventually called us to say Greenville Dermatology refused to schedule an appointment until the referring physician saw us first. Needless to say we will find another dermatologist.

I called to make an appointment with Dr. Phillips. I was told since I hadnt seen him in the last 24 months I am no longer considered a patient of his. And....sorry, he doesnt accept new patients. That is ridiculous! I tried to see him last spring but he was booked so I saw a different doctor. I was told since I only saw her once, Im not considered a patient of her either. Therefore- I was turned away. This is not how a patient should be treated

Called to see if they were accepting new patients and was asked what my concerns were. Said acne and hyperpigmentation and was told they’re not treating that. Odd to me for a dermatology practice but hey 🤷🏾‍♀️ on to the next.

Recently I expressed concern to my significant other about how unhappy I was with my current dermatologists treatment. He used to have severe acne so he suggested to call Dermatology Associates and request Dr. Bryan. When I called, I asked if Dr. Bryan was taking new patients. Unfortunately he wasnt. Mary Lou asked me what I would be seen for, I then advised her it was for cystic acne. I started to go into detail about why I was looking for a new dermatologist and she quickly cut me off mid sentence. After doing so, very impolitely she says something along the lines of- well you need to be seen by your PCP and you must have 2 failed treatments before we can consider scheduling an appointment. In which, I had already told her that I had 2 failed treatments. Its clear she wasnt listening. From a medical professional stand point, and being the center administrator to a medical office myself, this kind of customer service was terrible from the getco. Definitely not wasting my time coming here.

This is a very busy place. The interior is nice. The receptionist was professional, and the check in process for a new patient was easy. I was pulled back by the nurse 25 minutes after my appointment time, and then waited another 10 minutes in the exam room before being seen by the doctor. But let’s be real here, no one wants to wait around for their appointment to start, but most often they take up more than their allotted appointment time. This is the way of the medical world these days. I was prepared for a wait. Dr. Barrick’s nurse made sure I knew they were running behind. I didn’t feel like I was forgotten about. And during my face to face time with Dr. Barrick I didn’t feel as though I was being rushed through, so that they could catch up with their schedule. I had to have shots for my alopecia areata, and frankly I was pleasantly surprised that I got the diagnosis confirmation and the start of my treatment plan in the same day. I was expecting to have to schedule another appointment to start the treatment plan. Dr. Barrick was very nice and down to earth, and so was his nurse. Definitely recommend this team!

I saw Dr. Parks she was unprofessional, She held my pathology report on her desk for a week before she called me. She didnt care about me as a patient, she had no compassion. I left with a diagnosis of melanoma skin cancer and looked for another doctor. She was rude and I didnt trust her with my health care.
