I have been a patient at Vitality since it opened, the company I work for also does business with them. They have always been attentive and very professional to me and my staff. I have referred patients to go there and I am even trying to get my mother to switch doctors because they are all so caring and attentive. Janice, the office manager is very kind and personable, she always speaks to me answers all of my billing and other questions I have with confidence and a smile. She is very friendly and quite funny. Megan, Dell, and Heather are all very sweet and caring as well, and I love Dr. Shannon because she does not push unnecessary prescriptions and drugs on me, she listens to what I need and advises as such. I understand that I am not the only patient that the office sees, but they treat as I if I am and I really appreciate that. Keep up the good work!!

I absolutely love my doctors office! Mrs. Shannon Speece is absolutely amazing! She pretty much saved my life! Highly recommend her! Heather also is amazing. She always takes good care of me. And of course Megan always brightens my day when I walk in the office or call. She’s so nice and welcoming! I’m so thankful to have such wonderful people care for me!

HANDS DOWN!!!The best care in town! Ive been seeing Shannon for over 15 years! I started seeing her at another clinic. I was elated to see she and Dr. Mitchell were in practice together! In todays time RESPECT, KINDNESS, AND BEING HEARD IS COMPLETELY PRICELESS! 😇😷! (MASKS REQUIRED).

I am a disabled veteran. I wanted to get out of the VA system (that didnt care) and into the private side (that does🤞). So, several years ago, I found Vitality Health and Wellness. The first year was WONDERFUL! The staff and Dr. Mitchell were incredibly kind, and Megan was an all star! But then, out of the swampy abyss, rises the evil Janice! Zapping the down-home Healthcare provider vibes and turning it into an Urgent Care.I have had ALOT of interactions with Healthcare providers over the years, and if you have tricare or use choice benefits, you will not be in the best hands here. The admin staff has absolutely no idea how to run a medical clinic.

Very poor customer service. Janice the office manager is the worst human being on Earth. Save yourself the hassle and find another health care provider. Just look at the reviews. Its obvious that the staff is unprofessional and it seems like the owner is ok with it because they only address positive reviews. I see several people complaining about the office staff but no response from the owner? Not even an apology? How sad is that?

My experience today literally had me in tears. Im absolutely appalled by the way I was treated. Ive been a patient at Vitality for over a year. Dr. Mitchell, Dell, and Megan are awesome. I had an appointment this morning, however I am diabetic and my vision was blurred so I couldnt drive. I called the office at 8am, which was my appointment time. The receptionist Denise asked me if I was able to pay my 3 dollar copay. I had no problem doing so my issue was with her tone and the fact that she didnt seem to care very much about my situation. She put me on hold without asking me to hold. I held on for 9 minutes but decided to end the call and tried to call again. I called them back and when she found out it was me she immediately transferred me to the office manager. The office manager informed me that I had a 9 dollar balance. I asked her if she was sure because the receptionist said it was only 3 dollars. She sharply said I have no reason to lie to you . I then informed her that I didnt think she was lying I just wanted to be sure because I thought I paid my entire balance.  My phone died , I put it on the charger and I called right back . She said you hung up on me I  told her my phone died. I was then informed that I was charged for my previous videoconferences. I informed her that I was unaware that there were charges for videoconferencing. She then put me on hold again. When she came back to the line I told her that I was prepared to pay whatever balance owed. I just wanted to be seen. She then told me that they are not required to change in person appointments to videoconference appointments. I told her that I was aware of that I just want to be seen. She totally disregarded what I told her about my vision and my diabetes. Her only concern was the copay. It was a horrible experience.

I have been a very patient at Vitality for many years and cant say enough about the level of care I receive every time I visit. Everyone who works in this facility always goes above and beyond to ensure you are taken care of and its an understatement to say they take pride in what they do. Its rare in modern times to find a primary care physician/facility where you are treated as a person before you are treated as a patient, even more of a rarity being known by name and not just another name on a drivers license or checklist. Vitality Health and Wellness offers modern, big-city , quality Healthcare with the perfect blend of small town hospitality. Absolutely recommend that anyone who wants to get back the feelings of simpler times without sacrificing your standards of medical treatments should give Vitality a shot! (Pun totally intended)

Dc. Shannon is a great doctor she listen she suggested and she does what in the best interest for you. She does not just give you meds and send you on your way she looks for the cause and prevention first.I make sure all my doctors know what meds that each have been prescribe and my WellCare there has been great! The owner I met once and he is very nice and he actually talk and made us all laugh while waiting.🤗

I had been using them as my regular physician for about 2 years. I had what seemed to be the start of a circulatory issue toward the end and was sent for tests. No one ever called me back. I called them and was told that the x-ray place hadnt done all the tests they asked for. (I later found the paper they sent me with and they didnt request the other image). They sent me back. Three more weeks went by and I had to call them and was told that I was fine and they didnt see a problem. (Then why is fluid seeping out of my flesh below the knees?!?!!?). I really didnt want to return there decided to find someone else when I hurt my back on the job. I hobbled back to them in massive pain only to have some snippy woman at the front desk tell me they didnt take walk ins. I explained my pain and said Im not really a walk in I am a regular patient. The witch at the desk gave me a dirty look and said then I should head to urgent care because they dont take walk ins. (Fortunately for me a passer by helped me back into my car as I could barely move at this time. The urgent care down from the hospital emergency room gave me a shot, some pill and at least made it so I could walk out on my own again. Thank God for them. I have never gone back to Dr. Mitchell and dont recommend at all. Not the kind of care you hope to receive from a chosen physician. In an emergency your probably just as well off if you head to McDonalds.

I went for a school physical and found out that because I was issued a cpap machine, I had to be breathing at a 70%. I was completely unaware that I needed to turn in records for 3 months in order to keep my CDLs. No one informed me from the clinic that all of this had to be done. I tried to get an extension that would cover the time I needed to get to my levels. I only reached 48% and I have been trying to get to 70%. They told me that I could not get another extension. I was working on improving but they refused to work with me. This was the first year that we were required to do this and I find that very unfair in how the process is implemented. Also some of the staff was very rude. Shannon and Janice were very rude.

I have been a patient of Vitality for four years. I have been seen both by Shannon Speece and Dr. Maria Mitchell. Both are excellent! In most cases, I often see Ms. Shannon Speece. She has helped me at my absolute worst, treating pneumonia, stomach ulcer, flu, and shingles. Their approach is holistic and practical. The nursing, reception, and billing staff have always been very kind, compassionate, and empathetic.

Dr. Mitchell is a great physician however her front office manager is the biggest B@#$% ever. I called in to talk to someone about why they sent us to an out of network provider, she talked to me really bad and wouldnt let me get a word in. I told her I need to speak to the Dr. and she wouldnt let me do that either. Never going there again.

I had been to a scheduled appointment with Vitality before, and thought they were professional and easy to deal with. However, today has left a bad taste in my mouth.Their website says they do urgent care and take walk-ins. Turns out they dont do that at all, as was relayed to me in an awkward conversation with the office assistant. When I asked why on earth their website says that they do walk-ins if they do not in fact do walk-ins, I was told that theyre working on updating that. Well, guess what? Their website has said that they do walk-ins for quite some time. Updating it must not be of much importance to them. It is, however, of importance to us patients who need urgent care. Not happy about this. The next time I need a scheduled appointment, I believe I will be looking for other healthcare providers in the area.

This place is not suitable for anyone with chronic pain. They admit point blank in their policies that they will not treat chronic pain, and will penalize you for taking controlled substances from other providers, force pain patients to see ANOTHER provider, force any patient on controlled substances to return monthly regardless of whether they prescribe the controlled medication or not, threaten patients with addiction issues with police, and compares cannabis - a non-narcotic pain treatment legal in the majority of the US - with cocaine and heroin. Also, the doctor leading the practice is a bit handsy, as I discovered when he grabbed me in the waiting room while I was filling out paperwork. Perhaps he thinks hes being friendly but it directly contributed to me walking out of his practice. Together with the controlled substances policy it paints a picture of a practitioner who doesnt respect boundaries or his paitents in most need of care.

Used to enjoy coming here and felt taken care of. But because my Medicaid ended and two bills came back on me, I made a payment and set up an appointment with a new insurance. The lady at the front asked me to fill out a payment arrangement. Looking at it, it read that under $100 balance your minimum would be $25/month. Well my bill and minimum payment was higher than that and already being a single mother of two I cant even afford the $25 a month, I told her I couldnt do that. I can make smaller payments but I cant agree to pay something I dont have. she told me I would be sent to collections. After telling her I wanted my records because I cant afford that much a month she lowered it to $10/month and to top it off, while Im sitting here embarrassed about my financial situation, I could hear the girls up front snickering about me.
