I felt compelled to leave a review for this wonderful gal. Lets face it ladies, Brazilian waxing is flat out uncomfortable - you know with the crazy positions we need to take and all the pulling and tugging. Only your significant other or GYN gets that close to the goods. You need to get REAL comfortable real quick with your esthetician. No problem with Lauren...I had my first appointment with her yesterday and was beyond impressed! Ive had many Brazilian waxes in my lifetime but this, without a doubt, was the MOST COMFORTABLE Ive ever had (yep, I said comfortable and Brazilian wax in the same sentence). Some extra discomfort in particular areas is unavoidable but it was very minimal with Lauren. Im not sure how she did it but Im definitely here for it!! If youre a first-timer, do yourself a favor and book with her. And if youre an old timer like me...well, do yourself a favor and book with her. You wont regret it. Thanks Lauren...Ill be back😉

Lauren is a hoot (in a good way). Went for my first wax ever in my life and she made it an awesome experience. I got the Brazilian because Im currently pregnant and had a hard time reaching the area. So rather than look like I have mange I decided to get it waxed.I was nervous about having my lovely lady lumps spread for this complete stranger, but Lauren was professional yet made the experience comfortable and not in any way awkward. The building is quiet and sanitary and the table was wiped clean in front of me. Will definitely return.

The Wax Room is a great location with exceptional service... close to downtown without the hassle of trying to find parking. Lauren gave me my first Brazilian a while back when she was at Rio downtown and I was so excited to see she has her own place! She is so professional and efficient, and she makes the whole thing as painless as possible. It was such a great experience. I will never go to anyone else ever again!

Yall... I have been waxed several times in the downstairs and this was literally the best experience. She warned me when it would hurt a little and when it wouldnt.
