The vets at this clinic saved my dogs life, thats a simple fact. They went absolutely above and beyond with his care and it was worth every dollar and every hour spent. Glancing at some other recent reviews, yes the wait can be very long, but thats because theyre triaging every animal that walks through their door. The first night we went there, he had his vitals taken, we waited several hours and eventually had to go home because he was stable and my partner had to wake up early for work (we dontlive terribly close). The second night I took him back because I had grown more concerned after some seeming improvements during the day. Chip ended up staying with them for emergency surgery with complications throughout the entire weekend. The vets there pulled insane hours to make sure they had two vets on hand to handle his surgery and he has passed his 2 week mark and is entirely back to his old energetic self. They were extraordinarily kind to me, explained things extremely well, and just did SO MUCH to ensure they could give him the best care possible. Every day I get to spend watching Chip be his ridiculous energetic self, I am grateful to the incredible team at this clinic. They have my full confidence and trust. The care my darling received here was top notch and while I hope to never HAVE to recommend an emergency vet, this one has my full vote. (To the staff, Chip is doing SO WELL!! Hes entirely back to his old energy levels and eating like a CHAMP.)

Super caring and very professional! My Mom’s little Toy Poodle, Corky (right) was bit by a neighbor’s dog this evening. Pitt County cleaned and treated the bite marks and prescribed antibiotics along with pain medicine. Fair and reasonable cost in addition to the $100 up front fee. We greatly appreciate your help!! If anything happened to that dog right now, I’m not sure if my Mom could handle it.If you have an emergency situation with a pet, don’t hesitate to bring them to Pitt County Emergency Clinic!

I needed to take in my chihuahua for vomiting. After fasting her at home and trying to soothe her stomach to no avail. I called first and Jessica answered and was very helpful. I arrived at 12:30 am, Hopi was taken inside within 20 minutes. Dr. Frankie came out after his assessment and gave me several options of treatment. I did choose the conservative option and was leaving the clinic just before 2 am. I was very pleased with Dr. Frankie and Jessica. It is a Emergency Clinic, so sometimes the wait time is longer due to the conditions of the patients inside. Always call first and gauge how busy they are. I believe that they do their very best for each pet. It can be difficult to wait when your own pet is sick, but remember they do triage their patients and adjust accordingly. I also feel that what I paid is/was very fair. Most importantly Hopi is much better .

First took my St Bernard puppy in she was sick and they treated her. The cost was almost 700. I paid it. Then she had to go to another vet in the morning which was almost 300. Now just a few days later she is worse now and they wanted 775 up front they took my card over the phone said it was denied but the bank said they got it they ran it a few more times and still said it was denied she said they only got 468 of it but still my bank says they got 775 they said they want all the money or come get your puppy. I am so mad so my son is going to get her and hes got to wait now for the other vet although they got there money they refuse to care for a puppy if a vet is like this dont waste your money on him because he really cares more about the money they your pet. Take your pet to a vet that really cares about the life of your pet ill be getting my money back as soon as my bank opens. So really go some where else where they care about your family member pets life these people really dont.

Don’t bother going here unless you have 5+ hours to kill waiting in their parking lot. No updates, no ETA, no communication, no nothing. I guess they have a monopoly on being open on weekends. Probably should just drive to Raleigh, it’ll probably save you time and get better care for your pet.

I arrived 15mins after they opened and there was only one other car in the lot. After providing the paperwork, I waited almost 4 hours and was NEVER SEEN! I watched people drive up and their dogs were seen immediately. I called numerous times and was told over and over we were next and would be seen within the next hour, and to wait. NOTHING!!!! No updates, or even a triage check. The WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ever!!! Each time I called which was always an hour later, the receptionist talked over me to again tell me it’ll be another hour. Rude and Ridiculous, I would never recommend this place, EVER!

Horrible service. We drove an hour and 15 minutes to this “emergency” vet because they were the closest to us. My dogs eye was bleeding and I cannot describe how bad it looked. We arrived for them to come out and say it wasn’t an emergency. We waited 3 hours before they finally called her back. But while we waited they did not give her pain medicine nor did they take her into the building into the cool air. She is a Great Pyrenees so she has lots of fur. They ended up sending us home with medicine and said it was either a snake bite or cat scratch since she had a puncture wound to her eye. This all happened Saturday. Monday we brought her to a eye specialist in Cary to get a second opinion because we could tell she was still in a lot of pain. The specialist took her back right away. Turns out my dog was shot with a pellet and it went all the way through her eye into her head. Furthermore, a pair of the eye drops that they sent us home with the eye specialist said they did not carry those eye drops anymore because they cause more harm than good. The eye specialist was excellent. Unfortunately, they did have to take her left eye out. But DO NOT go here to the “emergency” vet unless you have no other choice. 0/10 recommend.

We took our 3 month old puppy here to be evaluated for an injured right hind leg due to him jumping from my grasp onto a hardwood floor. Immediately upon calling, we were told that there was an extensive wait ahead of us, and that more emergent cases would be seen ahead of us.... And there were plenty of pets that needed immediate attention. They were very nice, but one could tell that they were VERY busy, and trying to multi-task as best as they could. My husband and I are fairly new to NC; transplants from NJ. After hour procedures in NJ are very different than here. We would call our vets 24 hour hotline; they would access the severity and need(s) for our pet, recommend which emergency vet to go to and call the emergency clinic ahead of time. Even during the height of covid we were seen immediately and given updates via phone. Our 14 year old sheltie passed away on 4/11/20,after being treated for complications from a brain tumor.Again, the staff here were compassionate, professional and caring, but it seems obvious that there just isnt enough staff to handle the influx of emergencies. Also, there was no obvious place for pets to potty should the need arise. So scary as the business is right off a major road.Long story short, we left after waiting for 2 hours because my pup had a regularly scheduled check-up with our vet the next morning.I am giving this business 4 stars because the communication is somewhat lacking, and the only way we could get/give information was by clamoring at the door with everyone else.

Absolutely awful service. Brought our dog there after she was bit the other day. Initial care was poor. They didn’t drain the cut properly so the poor baby got an abscess due to their negligent care. Then, when we came back after it exploded!!!! on us they said it would be 5+ hours of waiting in the parking lot while the dog was crying and bleeding all over the place!! We asked for simply a paper towel while we waited but they REFUSED. They absolutely refused to even lift a finger because it “wasn’t her turn”. So if she’s in serious pain and in bad condition…doesn’t matter. Clearly they never heard of the word triage!! Then, after 3 hours of waiting, one of our family members (who is fully vaccinated against COVID) desperately needed to use the restroom but they said “Sorry, don’t care.” Too bad this is the only place for miles, otherwise I would say NEVER come here. NEVER expect to be seen within 3 hours of arriving, no matter how long or short the line is. Negligent care, pathetic customer service, and disgusting employees who don’t mind letting your dog bleed all over the parking lot with nothing but a “Too bad” to stop the bleeding.

Took our sick dog to this clinic yesterday and after driving over a half hour to get there we were told by staff that it would be a couple hours before they could look at our pet. 2 hours later we were told they were working on another pet which was going to take an hour and a half and then two more pets before they could see ours so from 7 pm to 9pm they saw one animal . This no class outfit is the worst veterinarian service I have ever seen and anyone living in the surrounding area of Greenville should stay away from this location. They provide no waiting area and expect you to wait in your hot car with your pet for hours on end providing no water or even bathroom facilities for humans during their long waiting period. They continue to use COVID as an excuse when everywhere else such as restaurants and stores have relaxed those restrictions. Just another case of a business that really really sucks and needs an excuse.

Be aware of this pretend to be real emergency for pets office...On June 13th our dog got hit by a car. The person who hit it dropped at Pet Emergency Clinic of Pitt County. Then I arrived to clinic to find out current condition and to see update . They kept door closed and talked outside without letting to see the dog or see any paperwork or even see the x ray. The doctor talked to me and my partner as a dog owners and told that it seems that dog had damage like hip out and damage that she cant move or stand on feet. I asked do You do operations to put hip back in place ? I was told no. So I asked that I would like to transfer dog to proper other vet clinic perhaps to do surgery and save time and drive her to Raleigh or perhaps other true emergency Vet services. The woman from pretend customer service told me to wait and she would find out. I waited and decided to leave for about an hour to take care my other business. When I come back I looked trough the locked door to remind them that I was there waiting for that answer. The woman was showing me one finger that I understood as one moment. Then I finally realized that dog was kept pretty much hostage. They never got back to me with an answer and instead set me up for arrest. I did not have cell phone on me and asked woman to help to make a call to help me with info or find out if the dog is even alive. Then I was so happy to notice police car. I was waiving and trying to report the ignorance from vet office and tremendous stress it caused me. I tried to explain that I am co owner of dog and ask for basic right to find out anything about the dog and transfer. I got arrested and charged with trespassing second degree. After arrest I asked why I was arrested and charged with that and was told by vet clinic that I was not the owner. I adopted dog from animal control that was going to put her down 6 years ago. I was caretaker, cleaner, bought her food and treats 50 %. The police told me that in this country caring and feeding for dog does not mean I was an owner. My partner claimed he never told them that I was not an owner and instructed them to talk to me. I wonder if they decided to just keep the dog drugged up in kennel till the morning as they did and gauge another $ 1300 with no explanation or price break. I truly believe that they kept her for Business gain and absolutely disregarded me or my rights. My partner never told me to leave and just suggested to go home and that I made the staff nervous. I mean when they charged $ 500 for x ray it makes customers more nervous than them... Any way Please be aware that this facility is a pretend to be real emergency like You would assume for humans. I mean like real emergencies have fully equipped surgeries, waiting rooms, ways to help animals other than just x rays and drugging them up. I would say they might put stitches and charge You few thousands but thats it. They do not have any appreciation for owners or even basic respect. I guess their motto is that pets should not go home till they go like 8 a.m . I believe this office violated my basic rights, set me up with arrest, failed to provide basic explanations or clear warning to leave but cheated me and person who hit the dog. Even rattle snakes warn before do harm or bite others but not this criminal gang of pretend vets from pretend to be Pet Emergency

My daughter and I brought our beautiful cat, Maui here who was severely injured. At the time we did not realize he had been hit by a car. The staff took good care of him and made him as comfortable as they could they tried to help him but his injuries were too severe. The staff was compassionate, patient and caring as we said goodbye to our baby. We too, had to wait a long time before we heard back from the vet but they are busy!! They are trying to save lives, and people need to remember that this is an emergency clinic. Also, it IS expensive when you take your pet to the emergency clinic. You definitely have to have to pay a pretty big deposit. This is not a free clinic, and yes, is expensive but if you love your pet then you do what you can for them. My daughter Emily, my fiancé Randy, and I would like to thank the staff very much for trying to save our precious Maui. We are happy that he didknow that we were there with him and then we could spend some time with him before we had to tell him goodbye.

I took my 5 year old yorkie here for a severe cut on her eye that was bleeding like crazy. The communication was terrible. When I signed in and called they did not tell me it was going to take 4+ hours for my dog to be called back. When I found out I was shocked because it was already 9:30pm and was told it would be three more hours at least and if I didn’t get called by 12am I would have to wait even longer because they were doing a surgery. I asked if I could leave and come back because 3 hours is a long time to wait in the car with an injured dog but they said if I did so I would lose my spot in line. Needless to say I did not wait and left. Workers seemed unsympathetic and I did not feel that they even cared about the condition of my dog. Next time I will make the drive to Wilson instead, I will not go back here again.

01/16/21Last night we took my daughters 4 yr old Aussie/lab mix we named Kelly Boo in to their clinic. Due to Covid we called when we arrived and a very kind assistant took Kelly Boo back into the clinic and I went back to my car to fill our 4vpapers about Kellys health history. I called to let them know I completed the papers and put them in the bin. About 15 minutes later I got the call from my vet. Kellys prognosis was horrible and he was very compassionate and professional. He explained things completely and precisely. My daughter and I were distraught. Kellys health deteriorated so quickly. We did the only real and humane option and put her down. They allowed both my daughter and myself to come in and have some time with her and then after we said our goodbyes and how much we loved her and thanked her for being a great friend. He then came in and gave her a shot in the port he had prepared. We stayed with her while she drifted away. The staff gave us lots of time with Kelly and were so compassionate and kind. I highly recommend this facility.

The girl was not helpful bordering on rude. She said she would get the vet to call my son. My son then called and another girl was not only rude but horribly rude and mean upsetting my son. I called and she answered. She was the rudest most unprofessional and meanest person ever. She does not ever need to work around people or pets. My son and I will file grievances with ADA on their staff including the vet who was also disrespectful. Please never take a pet here if you have options.

When his situation seemed to be getting worse, we made the decision to take him to the Emergency Vet. We arrived around 7:00pm and completed the paperwork, and they took him in within 45 minutes. With the COVID protocol, we were not able to accompany him inside.Within 40 minutes after the technician took him in, we received a phone call from Dr. Jones. He was so kind, comforting & thorough as he updated us. He explained all the possible scenarios & the associated treatment. We agreed with his thoughts on treatment, They treated him for an upper respiratory infection & also trimmed his nails, and within 40 minutes, Bo was in his carrier and on his way home with us!Thank you to Dr. Jones and the rest of the staff for taking such good care of our Bo Kitty, and the kindness you show us also.I hope no one has the need for an emergency vet, but if you do, I highly recommend this clinic.

It was extremely comforting to have such an excellent facility available in NENC. I took my 13 year old bichon there for treatment and she received excellent care and both vets were knowledgeable, compassionate and thorough. The staff was wonderful and went to great lengths to make sure all my questions were answered and encouraged calling to check on my sweet Sophie. In prior reviews I noticed people mentioning wait times and cost. I waited a reasonable amount of time for her to be assessed and they prioritized emergencies as they should. They are very forthcoming in the cost associated with the treatment and it is up to the owner to decide whether they want to commit to this obligation. I did not feel the cost was unreasonable based on prior experience I have had with an emergency clinic in VA with another pet. With that being said, I am so glad I took her there and thankful they could treat her with a happy outcome. If the situation arises, I am confident in being able to get great care for my pet when there are no other alternatives due to an emergency happening during nontraditional vet office hours.

I gave three stars at first but I’m now giving one because I don’t really know about the service since my kitten hasn’t received any service.Update: He died today. Took my collie/husky mix on Sunday morning. She was in pain and I was really scared. Due to covid restrictions, everything was handled by phone. The staff were wonderful - they listened patiently as I explained that Roxy was REALLY in pain (not like any other pet that might be there, I’m ashamed to admit). A Tech came out to the truck as soon as I had completed the paperwork. Dr. Harrington called to explain her initial thoughts and we discussed the next steps and the costs. After the xrays, Dr. Harrington called to talk about the results. We decided that Roxy should be seen at a neurological hospital immediately. The office made all of the arrangements for me, even sending the lab results and the xrays - which saved us from having them repeated. So, yes, this was an emergency. Yes, I had to follow the rules and wait my turn. Yes, I sat in my truck fearing the worst for what seemed like 18 hours (I pulled into the parking lot at 9:00 am and was leaving to drive to the hospital in Cary around 1 pm).The costs were reasonable for quality emergency care. I am pleased with the entire visit. Btw: Dr. Harrington’s prelim. diagnosis was supported by the specialty team at the hospital. Roxy is beginning 4 - 6 weeks of crate confinement.

The door was wet and fogged up. The lighting was terrible and had I not already had the clinics number programmed into my phone I couldn’t read the number posted on door. Need better lighting out front and believe it or not everyone doesn’t have a cell phone to call so what then. And for $500.00 she got a steroid shot and no answers. No one wants to have to take their babies into an emergency clinic but if they need to, the Pet Emergency Clinic of Pitt County is the place to go. My husband and I unfortunately have a dog that is now in the end stages of her life. In the summer of 2019, she began to have seizures-which for dogs that are older, it is often a sign of brain tumor. The staff at the Emergency Clinic was so thoughtful and caring during a time where my husband and I were not sure where to go, or what to do. Their attention and care towards our baby, and ourselves, was beyond what anyone can imagine. Periodically we will contact them for additional questions and they are always happy to help-even if it means we dont come in for a visit. This is an emergency clinic yet they ask you to sit in your car, fill out paper work, and then wait for them to call you in while your pet that is need of emergency services sits in the car with you. The whole process is a waste of time and completely unsympathetic towards pets and their families. They could at least take my pet inside and put him in a stable condition while waiting for paper work. I’m currently still sitting in the car with my kitty who is struggling to breathe on a 98 degree day hoping the air conditioning is keeping him cool. Very disappointed, especially since this is one of the only emergency vet clinics in Greenville. We have found them to be communicative, helpful, responsive, and honest about any waits and the scope of their treatments. They consistently communicate with the vets for follow up care and further treatment. Costs, painful though they are for us, are reasonable.

Im extremely happy with this clinic. Took our elderly cat there last night after she suddenly stopped walking, moving and was breathing fast. Sadly, she did end up having to be put down, but the staff was incredible through it all. They explained every other option, didnt persuade me to seek either route, but it was simply her time. We got to hold her as they injected her and it was all so peaceful. Prices were amazing too. Exam was $100, x-ray (that he, again, didnt push on us but asked if we would like to do that because it may be able to tell him more and give us an answer) was about $165, and an euthinization without exam is usually $125, but they must have had a discount or something since we did the exam and xray first because total i came out of there at $315. Either way, I cant think these people enough for their compassion and efforts to help our sweet girl suffer no longer. I cant imagine the things these people deal with every single night, but youd never know it the way they act towards you and your pet. I pray no-one has to go here, but if your beloved pet has a medical emergency, this is certainly the place to go. ❤

When our beautiful Brittany Spaniel got into trouble during labor and was unable to deliver her pups on a Sunday, Dr. Turner quickly determined that she needed a c-section to save her and her pups. Dr. Turner and the amazing staff efficiently cared for the large number of animals waiting to be seen while preparing Moe for surgery. The entire crew mobilized to save Moe and 5 of the 6 pups, two that they had to work to resuscitate. Robin the receptionist kept me informed throughout the process and took pictures on my phone as pups were brought out. When I called my vet at 8:00 the next morning, they were already aware of our situation and had received a full report. The expertise, professionalism, compassion and excellent communication could not be beat. A HUGE thanks to Pet Emergency Clinic of Pitt County!

We had an excellent experience with this clinic. We are first time puppy parents and our little girl had an allergic reaction with some hives. The clinic is extremely clean, bright, and welcoming. The staff greeted us immediately with smiles and plenty of attention and concern. As pup parents who were freaked out, the level of care was very reassuring. We were put into a room in less than 10 minutes and seen immediately by a very friendly nurse. The doctor followed close behind. He explained, very thoroughly, the problem our pup was experiancing and how we should move forward. The pricing is VERY reasonable considering they are an emergency service. We were impressed from start to finish. I hope we don’t have to come back, but if we ever have an emergency we will be comforted knowing this clinic will take excellent care of our pup!

I am happily snuggled up to one of my beagles tonight. Last night, we were rushing him to the emergency vet in Greenville due to a snake bite. We did not see the snake, so it could have been poisonous. His eyes were glazed over, swelling of his face had begun, and he was wobbly. It was Sat. night. I am so grateful that we had the option of going to an after hours vet. Monday may have been too late. The facilities were clean, cool, comfortable and first rate. We were met by a very concerned employee, who understood that our dog was vastly important to us. She was most kind and professional. The doctor was very competent and confident in treating the snake bite. She took every precaution possible to enable a complete recovery. To have a facility, professional staff, and modern equipment after hours available to save my dog, I will gladly pay the fees.

Returning home while my Dog rested there was hard. They connected with my vet in Washington NC well. We have received good support. Dr. Kevin Jones was excellent.

This is the first review I have ever written. I cannot express to you enough how horrible of an experience this place was. Do not bring your animal here!!! Turn around right now and drive to Wilson if they can make it. Their vet techs do not know how to handle injured or scared animals, and its questionable if they should handle any kind of animals. Greenville needs another 24/7 Emergency clinic. Until then, I urge you to turn around and go to Wilson.

I wouldnt have even given them one star. I had to click one in order to post. I went there after midnight because my pet was ill. I was let in and the person just walked away. An hour later she gave mes papers to fill out. She never even said hello. I waited an additional two hours for my pet to even get to the back. The techs attitude was so uncaring and cold. I asked a question and the tech gave me such an annoyed look. That I literally stopped her from continuing and took my pet and walked out.

Dr. Julie Uherka-Parker is absolutely wonderful as is most of the staff. The office manager/best technician (her words) is very rude and uncaring. Too much of a story to post here, but she has no business dealing with pet owners that are already upset about their sick pets. Having to take a pet in as an emergency is stressful enough without having to deal with arrogance. Shes been given a little power and wields it well. All she could do was quote the rules, which I fully understood, but in our situation she made a calculation error and was unwilling to listen objectively. If my puppy hadnt been in need of surgery I would have picked my puppy up and taken it somewhere else as she recommended. I was told over and over how she was saving my puppys life and I should be grateful instead of arguing over a deposit amount (which by the way I had already paid a portion of). You really should consider replacing her. Rude and obnoxious both times Ive been there and not just to us. Rude to others too so it wasnt us provoking her.

I had called with an emergency one morning as they claim to be an Emergency Clinic and was not even allowed to fully explain the situation before I was rudely interrupted and told no and to go find somewhere else since there are lots of places in Greenville. No apology nor an explanation which was very upsetting as this was the 3rd place I had called and had been turned away from.

Her blood sugar was over 500 & she was extremely ill & close to death. The staff was so wonderful & caring. They saved her life that night & gave us 3 more wonderful years with her. The most recent experience at the clinic is with our Lab, Bauer. He is currently seeing an orthopedic vet, Dr. Sonja Szymeczek, with the Points East Veterinary Specialty Hospital , within the emergency clinic. She is so kind & gentle & helping us with tendon tear in his hind leg. We are so fortunate to have such talented Veterinarians & staff in our area.

My parents were treated terribly last night when they thought their dog had a snake bite. Someone came up from the back and said they refused to see them until they paid a bill from 2015. First off, my parents pay for ALL VET VISITS when they are there. Furthermore, they have been in that very emergency office several times with other pets since then. They were then told they would have to pay interest, on a bill, that was paid in 2015. I have worked in a Fortune 500 company in collections... never in my life would i treat another human let alone an animal suffering this way. The bill wasn’t even for that much compared to the thousands of dollars spent there, and now my elderly mother is going back through paper files to prove it. Was paid and get her refund. You also didn’t even provide her with the invoice she is paying. Btw, you have every number under the sun to get a hold of them. You all are absolutely awful to have treated an emergency situation this way and should be ashamed of yourselves.

We brought my parents dog Mel Rinker in and the staff response to his emergent situation was exellent! Our vet Dr. Winston was kind, caring, very knowledgeable and able to explain in concise easy to understand language what was wrong, what was needed for his care. You could sense that Dr Wilson cares very much about his patients. His vet tech was prompt with the estimated cost which was very reasonable considering its emergency care. Thanks to the vet and rest of the staff including the very able and caring receptionist Robin who reassured us and kept us informed while waiting.Id also like to Express to other pet parents that this is an emergency animal clinic much like a regular ER for people. Its not first come first serve. Pet patients are seen in order of their emergent need. Please dont get upset with the staff because they are dealing with a more emergent need/procedure than your pet. It was very busy when we were there and Dr Winston was already in the midst of a procedure. Robin told us what was happening and was very reassuring to the pet parents who were waiting.I rate this vet emergency care/experiance 5 starsand will recommend this to family and friends.

Our outdoor cat couldnt get up the steps at 6 am; hes so furry I could tell his belly had been nearly ripped open in a cat fight but we knew he was sick. Dr Harrington and her assistant were very kindly - looked him over closely and found some blood, Took him back, shaved him down found all the lesions and cleaned and glued some pretty big wounds, gave me antibiotic and got us on our way for $150. My regular vet charges that much for going in for shots and heart worm meds. I have no complaints and was VERY satisfied. I sympathize with reviewers who were shocked at much larger bills when surgery was needed at the Emergency clinic for their pets .... BUT try taking your pet to NC State Vet school for surgery -- and be prepared to be happy if the bill is only a few thousand.

I brought my dog because she jump off the porch, my dog has a generic bone Desase.i was sacred my dog had broke a leg since she was limping and winning. When I arrived at this location 8:10pm I immediately checked in I notice 2 people arrived after me and they got helped WAY before my dog. So I asked what was taking so long, one of the nurses told me that the dogs that arrived were in a more critical condition then my dog so they have to helped them first. I totally get that but there is no reason in this world why I should be in the waiting room for 4 hours before I even get my dog weighed! Needless to say I had to leave because they were talking me that is was gonna be another hour before I get seen at this time It’s 1:48 so I decide to leave since it wasn’t gonna be until maybe 3 before they see my dog!I returned today 04-04-2019 to see if I have better luck, I have been here since 7:20pm and it is now 9:30 and they just informed me that they are gonna see another dog before mines! At this time I am starting to think this is a racial problem since there only helping Caucasian people first. I would like to think I am wrong but all the people from yesterday and today were white an I am Mexican.

My dog had surgery for a bowel obstruction. It was recommended that she be monitored through the night due to being in critical condition. We took her straight to the clinic. The doctor was very nice and explained what we should expect, etc. We were told that we would be called at any point during the night if she became worse. Upon picking her up my dog was crashing, her BP was bottoming out. The most important thing would be to have her on constant IV fluids to prevent this from happening. Well they thought it would be a good idea to take her off her fluids at some point during the night... she was progressively getting worse and we were not informed. Fortunately we have a fantastic vet that began working on her immediately and stopped her from crashing. I understand that she was in critical condition; but the lack of basic care and communication we experienced was unacceptable.
