Great animal hospital. Brought my cat in to help with an ear issue. They prescribed the correct medicine and gave me great instructions. Was able to fully resolve the issue in two weeks and get her updated on all of her shots. All of this with prompt and friendly customer service.

Two other Veterinarians didnt know one of my cats was severely sick and kept us waiting for weeks to have her diagnosed somewhere else. When we decided to take matters in our hands and found Ambassador Animal Hospital, which agreed to see us the next day! They had all the tools to diagnose cancer. Unfortunately at that time it was to late already.We had to let her go and the Ambassador team did a great job. Today we had to do the hardest thing ever we had to put our dog down its something know one wants to do our dog was family she was more than a dog she was family her and my youngest son had the same birthday almost 3 days apart they grew up together she was my sons best friend so having to make the decision to have her put down was the hardest thing but I knew she was suffering the ladys that work at ambassador are the most kindest and amazing woman they let my boyfriend go pick up all the kids so they could see her one last time and say goodbye they never rushed us let us take all the time in the room with her before and after checked on us explained everything to us thank you for being amazing during this hard time

I love Ambassador Animal Hospital! You can tell how much they love their animal patients from the very first phone call. The vet techs are so sweet and take the time to let my nervous dogs warm up them. The vet spends as much time with you as you need, always making sure your questions are answered.

We love Dr. Alexander at Ambassador! Our pups have seen her for years, and we totally trust her with their health. She is thorough, and truly cares for our pups, Janeway and Macy. The other staff are also always very helpful and caring in person and over the phone.

Ambassador has always been my go to, I used to even work here. They truly care about your pets and give excellent care. The receptionist Theresa was very great with customer service and friendly when I called with an emergency. Both doctors I recommend- hands down best veterinarians.

Had an issue with my dog being in severe pain in my vet was on vacation. Ambassador Animal Hospital was one of the only vets that would see my dog on short notice and they squeezed me in. We had a great experience and they are highly recommended.

I was in clinic a few days ago with my cat and while O was being checked out, I heard the receptionist poor mouthing another clinic and making fun of another clinic and people who work there. The doctor was not pleasant, seemed distracted the entire time as well.

We love Ambassador! They are always very helpful and knowledgeable. Our pup had bladder stones twice and they treated her like their own and helped with preventative care so we could keep them at bay! We are grateful to live so close to such a great vet!

Ambassador Animal Hospital has been my vet of choice for years. Dr. Alferis IS our vet! We recently experienced a tragic loss and everyone there was so very lovely and loving. We greatly appreciate them! Though I cannot express enough how much Dr. Alferis is our preferred provider. Also, Latoya & Theresa are the faces & personalities you most definitely want to encounter when you are handing over your non speaking littles over for care. Brought my cat here for a while and do not recommend it. The vet was rude on several occasions, which I can deal with, but she was also dismissive of various symptoms and failed to identify the root cause (lymphoma). Spent a lot of money here and felt like a rip-off.

We stopped by while visiting Greenville for the weekend and noticed our 10 month old golden retriever had an ear infection. Not only did they see us immediately, but the vet took nearly 25 mins to sit with us to answer questions about diet/environmental causes for the ear infection. I have never received such AWESOME customer service. Katy, the vet we saw, was fantastic. We wish this was our local vet so we could use them moving forward. Dont let the small size of the office fool you; they have big hearts and are thoughtful - couldnt ask for better service.

My 11 month old Aussie had an infected hot spot near his tail, that turned out to be the result of licking and itching from severe seasonal allergies. By the time I caught on and saw what was back there under his thick fur, it was due to him losing said fur in a huge clump. Due to Covid, I hadnt yet been to a vet, and had instead been doing his vaccines and care at home. Well, needless to say that when I saw how quickly the spot was spreading, it was definitely time to see a professional. I was able to get an appoontment the same day, the check in process was easy, and they made both me and my pup feel comfortable and secure in a scary and difficult time. I was able to get him the care he needed, ask all of the questions I had, and get any additional information I wanted. They were very transparent with their pricing and didnt try to sell or upcharge me on anything I didnt need, and they were also able to give me plenty of different options to compare for both preventative care and to treat the ongoing and underlying problem. My pup stayed calm for the entire visit, and we left feeling way less anxious than we arrived. I am definitely coming back here for all of my pups preventative care and continued treatment. :)

I recieved great service with everyone here at ambassador animal hospital, everyone at the front desk was very helpful and very sweet, as well as the doctors. They were all very helpful and had us in and out in no less than an hour! I had to make calls to multiple offices around greenville for an apointment for my cat to get her in as soon as possible and Ambassador was there when we needed them. Ambassador was also one of the only offices out of several different offices that I had to call who were very understanding and willing to help me in anyway that they could. The front desk was very nice and not rude like some of the other phone calls I had elsewhere. They were able to provide me with all the info I needed and then some. Everyone in the office and the doctors are real cool people ❤

Great experience getting international health certificates for all 3 of my animals. The staff and vet were all wonderful throughout the process!

The first time I used this clinic I was very impressed. In the last year it seems they have taken on a lot of new staff. The staff feels very inexperienced and impatient; Doctors, Techs and Receptionists... all. Gone are the friendly, empathetic smiles and reassuring words, replaced by smug undertones of superiority and disregard. In a dire situation for my pet I was on the receiving end of very clunky and shortsighted service. When I was waiting in my exam room I could hear the Techs (and Doctors?) “talking shop” through the door and it sounded like the Mean Girls Club. Not a welcoming vibe. They always seem to have an appointment same day, which at first I thought was great but then realized it’s because they pack max clients and don’t really take time with you to fully explain your pets conditions and possible outcomes. Aside from Dr. Alexander, the Doctors were very poor communicators. I was given bare bones facts with no analysis or discussion of what those conditions may mean moving forward or what I should be on the look out for in order to safeguard my pet’s health in the future. My pet had a complicated diagnosis but they didn’t make any notes to print out for me to review from any of my multiple visits. Everything I learned about how to care for my pet moving forward I had to ask them directly and take notes or google it. I ended up getting a diagnosis from a vet online who actually took the time to read the notes I made, compare test results and brainstorm possibilities… This is someone I didn’t pay but was happy to help in order to help save my pet. I find it shameful that after multiple visits and hundreds of dollars the staff at Ambassador treated my questions and search for all the information as a nuisance. Ambassador was a 5 star clinic but has lost its heart. Now it seems they’re in it for the cash grab. This is not only disappointing, but also life threatening for the pet you love and are trying to protect.

If you treat your fur baby like family then this is the place to go as they do the same! Affordable, high quality care for your babies. Staff is extremely caring and knowledgeable. Had to leave my little guy for a procedure and they kept me completely updated and my worries at bay. They even follow up making sure everything is still going well. Highly recommend!!

Appreciate that a visit to Ambassador Animal Hospital isnt a trade off between great customer service and compassionate care towards my dogs.

I brought a baby kitten in on deaths door with 105 degree fever and in some kind of seizure and in some nervous system breakdown! It was awful, my daughter was in tears and we had very little hope that she was going to make it. We left her there and 5 hours later they gave me a happy playful kitten back! They saved her life. It meant so much. More than it normally would even because of this Corona virus my daughter has had alot of lonely time at home and taking care of this kitten had given her much needed happiness. So the thought of loosing her was devastating to her. I absolutely cannot THANK the Ambassador doctor ENOUGH! We couldnt believe the difference in such a short period of time. It ment the world at that moment. Thank you again.

I cannot express how much I like this place. I bring my fur babies here for both annual visits and emergency visits. When my dog hurt her back recently I immediately put her in the car and drove her to Ambassador. They were kind enough to fit her in without and appointment to get her the care she needed. I have also needed to have a stray seen due to facial bleeding, and they were kind enough to fit her in and take care of her. The staff is extremely friendly and the vet is clear and concise. If youre considering taking your babies here, do it! I highly recommend.

Took our new 14 week old puppy here today for the first time. The staff was very kind and took to our boy very fast! Sam came out and picked up when she seen he was nervous and loved on him to make him more comfortable! She was incredibly sweet. The doctor was very thorough and went over everything to make sure our puppy was in great health. The over all price was very low for everything they did for him and the level of care they give. Very happy to call them our new Vet and will definitely recommend them.

I recently brought my 16-year-old Feline best friend to Ambassador for a first-time visit. They are the best doctors I have ever experienced! They really care about your animals and the front desk is absolutely phenomenal. The prices are great and most importantly the facility is clean and just a calm place for your animals to be. Dr. Couture is amazing and will treat your pet like it is her own. Violet at the front desk is fantastic and everyone here is just on top of their game all the time.

My dog is no longer vet phobic! Its so nice to not have to literally drag her 93 pounds in the front door like I did with the last vet and on the first visit here. Vet saw her fear, got on the floor, talked softly, and fed her treats before coaxing her to the treatment room. Vet continued to talk softly and carefully during treatment, so Katie excitedly goes to the vet now. Highly recommended. (Prices are very reasonable too!)

The caring folks at Ambassador Animal Hospital took the time to work Marcy in without an appointment and I’m spite of all this Covid craziness! They performed a thorough check up and found she had an overactive thyroid. Started her on meds and we’ve used them since for boarding as well. So glad to be a part of the Ambassador family!

This place is so wonderful. I have a difficult dog who is scared of most people and they are so good to him. They are extremely transparent about procedures and costs. Weve been taking our dog here for almost 3 years now, theyve always been loving as well as professional, with everything from boarding to nail trims. We love them because theyre a small business mindset and take care of us like friends with all the facilities and expertise you could ask for.

I’ll probably never go anywhere else. My dog had a bad sprain and I was desperate to get her medical attention. Despite being overbooked, they understood the urgency and had us in and out in an hour with better news than I was anticipating! I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Alfieris! She was extremely personable and passionate and took the time she truly didn’t have to explain things thoroughly. The receptionists are the cherry on top! I had an emergency with my dog at 5:30 am. I called the emergency clinic and they said to wait for my regular vet to open. I called my regular vet and left a message. At 7:30 his symptoms got worse. I called the emergency clinic back and they said they close at 8:00 am. Since I still havent heard from my vet I called Ambassador. They said to bring him in. He ended up spending the night. The staff was wonderful!! Hes feeling much better. Thank you so much helping my little boy!!!!!!

I needed a last minute dog boarding reservation with Ambassador Animal Hospital over the 4th of July week. They were able to accommodate Lucy (our doc), gave her a bath, made it easy to get her shot records to them, and gave her necessary shots and check up while she was there. Super easy and convenient.

I have taken my pets to Ambassador for a number of years. I recently got a new dog that I knew little about. Immediately they identified him as a cockapoo. He spent the day there for shots and grooming. He was so well treated and looked great when he was done. I appreciated the calls from the doctor with result of his exam and blood work. Im thankful for the whole staffs love for animals!

I highly recommend Ambassador! They are really caring and treat the pets like family. My dog had several health issues and my budget was tight. They went out of their way to work with my budget but be sure that we got everything that needed to be done, done. My dog had to have surgery and she is on the older side. I was a nervous wreck, but they reassured me and promised to take good care of my baby. I know that they did because when we went back for our follow up and suture removal my dog went right to them happily. It is a relief to know that my baby is in good hands when away from me and that she is being well cared for. Dr. Couture is amazing and very talented. The whole staff is amazing. I have been going to this vet for over two years. And I have had no complaints. I have a lab and a rescue mutt that I bring here for check ups, sick visits, and even nail clippings. Both dogs enjoy visits to the vet, they are never afraid coming or going, and love all the staff. The few times our lab was sick, they quickly diagnosed the problem and told me how to treat it with the medicine and he was fixed in no time. We were boarding else where but starting next weekend I am bringing them here to try out boarding as well since they love the place so much!

The doctors and technicians are always so friendly. They are happy to answer any question I come up with and make helpful suggestions on pet care costs when life gets a little tight on the budget. I have two geriatric pets as well as 2 adult pets and the doctors and technicians are always loving to them, no matter how the critters are feeling.

Ambassador Animal Hospital has truly been a blessing. Our dog had been battling numerous ear-infection with one form of antibiotic after another, and no success. He ultimately had to have surgery which Dr. Couture performed and he is now doing great with NO infection! Highly recommend Ambassador Animal Hospital!

We moved recently and needed to change vets to be closer to home. When I initially called Ambassador because my furbaby hurt his leg they were more than accommodating see us same day. They took extra special care of him and me. More recently when I found our newest edition furbaby in the woods ALL the ladies were so nice and caring, going the extra mile to make sure she was healthy and had the best chance to blossom after the her ordeal. With tips and tricks to get her healthy and the patience to answer all my questions. Super happy I picked Ambassador to care for my pets!

Extremely subpar facility. This should be no ones first choice for dog boarding. The front desk is not invested in assuring quality. We payed for grooming that didnt happen, and our pet was forced to stay an extra night due to lack of pick up times. There are plenty of better options in Greenville and we will not return to this overpriced, underperforming facility.

Dr. Couture and her staff are always incredibly kind to me when I walk in the doors of the clinic. I can honestly say that they all care very much for the animals you entrust to them. I took an injured, 6 week old, abandoned kitten i adopted in to Ambassador at 10 AM this morning, for a lip injury she had when found under a bush. Her lower lip was pulled down, and her chin exposed, too. They did surgery and i took her home at 5. Looks amazing. The staff was fabulous, and took such excellent care of Nibs. I cant thank them enough for repairing her lip and jaw.

Our basset stayed in the kennel. We were told she started crying the first afternoon she was there. The vet tech (Brook) sat on the dog bed with her and snuggled with her. They quickly became pals! This is very reassuring.

Ambassador animal hospital is the ONLY place I can board my sensitive/anxious beagle. From here, she comes back happy, as if she didnt spend any time away from home. Every other place Ive tried (there have been several!), she came home scared, exhausted, and dehydrated.Also, theres no required bath at the end of her stay. She comes home smelling exactly the same as when I dropped her off. They keep everything super clean!AND the pricing is very reasonable.So glad to finally have a home away from home for my baby!

We take our great Pyrenees’s and terrier mix to get groomed there. They are also our vets and do an amazing job. They love on our dogs whiles they are there and do an awesome job. Would recommend them to anyone!

I’ve been taking my babies to Ambassador for 19 years and I have nothing but great things to say! I was heartbroken when Dr. Wiggers retired in 2013(I think), but he reassured me that Dr. Couture was great and to give her a chance! I’m very glad I listened to him and stuck with her! All the ladies at Ambassador are amazing and have helped me with boarding, grooming, saying goodbye😞, and also saving several of my fur babies! I highly recommend them to anyone and I do to all the people whom have asked for recommendations.

Dr. Couture and the rest of the entire staff are truly wonderful. I just recently moved to Greenville and my dog needed her annual shots. I called them looking for an early afternoon appointment but all they had available that day was a 4:30pm. Since it was short notice on my part I accepted. About 30 mins they called ME back and said they could fit me in at 2pm. They didn’t have to do that but did anyway.Polly also doesn’t do well when it comes to strangers trying to poke needles in her. However, she was so well behaved for Dr. Couture and everyone else there. They really know what they’re doing and were incredibly accommodating to Polly.

I took my cat Alfie as an emergency patient after he had some kind of trauma to his mouth, they were so caring with him and myself!! I think Alfie sensed this and the feedback I got from them about Alfie was that he was a star patient and wanted attention and cuddles and for a cat that is rare. Couldnt recommend them more, these guys are excellent and while this place is far out from where I live I will be using them from now on for both my cats.

I took my chihuahua in to get some rotten teeth removed. Before I got there I was worried about leaving her during such a scary experience, but everyone I met seemed to genuinely care about her well-being and immediately put me at ease. They explained everything that they did and why they did it. Sofi is very sensitive and definitely a crybaby, so it says a lot that she was back to her normal self by the next day with seemingly no lasting effects. Im very happy with our experience, and how Sofi was treated.

Brought my senior cat here for a same-day appt after he continued to have digestion issues a few days after taking him to Petsmarts Banfield Hospital. They were so sweet, understanding and actually spoke to me like a human being!! Finally got my cat properly diagnosed and on his way back to health. Hopefully found a new place for him!

Dr Couture is an outstanding vet. My dog has severe allergies and had been on steroids for years. It was a choice between my dog scratching herself to death (quite literally) or having a high quality of life with the probability that the steroids would shorten her time with us.Dr Couture suggested that we try a brand-new, non-steroidal, medication. The drug is amazing. Scratching was gone in days...my dog lost 8 pounds in three weeks -- just from stopping the steroids. Within months, the manufacturer prohibited writing new prescriptions because demand was outstripping the supply. They wanted to make sure those dogs already on the meds would be able to continue on the meds without interruption. That was a little over 2 years ago. Supply is now where new prescriptions can be written.I count on my vet for good advice. Dr Couture obviously knew of the very latest treatment options and that knowledge made a dramatic improvement to my dogs life. I unhesitatingly recommend Dr Couture to everyone.

We kenneled our girl Kaya over Thanksgiving. Everyone I interacted with were awesome, and it showed how much they care about animals. Its not just a job for these ladies. The drop off made me feel comfortable leaving Kaya. She didnt want to go to the back, but Libby was great with her, and I was able to go out of town without guilt. We picked her up this afternoon (after her bath), and she looked beautiful. Her nails were trimmed and ears were cleaned! Mimi did an awesome job! Even if we dont ever need to kennel her again, we will for sure be back for grooming! I highly recommend!

Unfortunately over the weekend, we had to euthanize our cat. We had been holding on because he still seemed to be doing ok, but somehow he injured himself overnight Friday and things really went down hill in a hurry. I called them around 11:30 AM to see if they could help us, and without hesitation and with alot of compassion, they squeezed us in, so that he wouldnt be suffering through the weekend, even though they were closing at noon. They did not rush and made the terrible event bearable. We really appreciated their excellent service, and could tell that they work as a great team. We felt that they were very competent and genuine. We may actually take our other cat there from now on. Highly recommend.

Dr. Couture and her staff are simply amazing. We have been in and out of her clinic and hospital for two weeks with sick puppies. They not only, literally, saved their lives from pneumonia but have allowed us to drop off pups/pick up later and have always seen us same day. Their fees are delightfully better that anywhere else closer to our house so we drive 30 min just to see our vet and her staff. They have gone above and beyond to accomodate us and give all 3 of our dogs the best care. We highly recommend Ambassador Animal Hospital and we hope to continue coming here for many years to come. Thank you for all the tender care the past few weeks amidst all of our phone calls and visits!
