No need to look anywhere else because Dr. Ryan Voelkert and his team are fantastic! Both my son and I have seen them for extractions and implants and I appreciate their attention to detail! They carefully go over your plan and the timeline of procedures beforehand so there are no surprises. Easy communication with staff is an A+.

I posted an unfavorable review yesterday and received a call from the office with a heartfelt apology from the manager my post was directed toward. So it is only right that I change my rating and comment. Thanks for caring enough to reach out to me.

I have been a patient of Dr Ryan Voelkert for nearly two years as he worked through COVID to extract several teeth and replace them with implants. He and his staff at Periodontics of Greenville have been nothing short of wonderful…..professional, personable, and flexible with regard to appointment times and locations. Dr Voelkert is extremely talented and technically proficient yet he explained the dental procedures to me every step along the way in terms that I could understand. Every task he performed was done correctly the first time, every time and there is no doubt in my mind that his primary focus was my health and safety. I highly recommend him and his staff for your advanced dental needs, they are really good!

On 4/29, I had multiple tissue grafts performed by Dr. Voelkert and his team. There were so many little things that made a HUGE difference. Having antibiotics start the day before, making prescriptions (for pain and nausea) available prior to surgery day, having blankets to keep me warm during the procedure, comforting small talk as everyone prepped for the procedure, genuine compassion as well as high levels of professionalism from every staff member, having a post-op talk with my husband about details for care, and the recommendation for a smoothie on the way home! (Yum!)In particular, I would like to recommend Dr. Voelkert, Anesthetist Shu, and Nurse Madison for their kindness in word and action from start to finish. They fielded countless questions with patience and knowledge and made me feel comfortable in every way possible. I am so thankful for their heart and medical expertise - I wont forget it. I have already shared my positive experience with my family and friends. The complete care I received is exemplary and remarkable.

Dental surgery is not something many people look forward to. I was very apprehensive but after meeting Dr. Eric Hamrick I knew that I was in the right place. Dr. Hamrick’s extensive training was impressive. He was also very personable and wanted to make sure I understood my options. My surgery went great! Without hesitation I will see him and his awesome staff for future procedures.

I had a graft and crown lengthening with Dr Hamrick and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! They got me scheduled last minute and he coordinated care with my general dentist to make the process seamless as well as minimize the stress. Dr. Hamrick and his assistant Sandra went above and beyond while providing top notch services.

Dr. Hamrick is an outstanding Periodontist!!! I needed an extraction, bone graft and implant - which if you ever need you definitely want the best, someone who has the experience and knows what they are doing. Dr. Hamrick is your man. He did an excellent job with my difficult extraction due to the tooth having had a root canal and now was infected. I was comfortable and confident in him. His assistant Regina was a fantastic asset also. The entire procedure went well/smooth and I now have fully functioning implant and crown. Im so grateful. Thank you Dr. Hamrick! (Thanks Regina)

I was shocked and appalled at what occurred at this office. My husband had a sinus lift and bone graft, performed by DDS Hamrick, in preparation for an implant. The bone graft failed, as I understand they occasionally do. The office said they would remove the infected material and redo the procedure at no cost. That turned out to be no cost from DDS Hamrick but $400 for the anesthesiologist. Before they put my husband under to redo the graft they offered to replace the graft and implant the post at the same time. We didn’t feel overly confident about the office or the dentist by that time so my husband declined the additional procedure. They performed it anyway and informed him after he awakened that they had implanted a post. Next came the bill for the unapproved procedure. We refused to pay. We have since moved from SC and requested my husband’s records for our new dentist. Apparently there are several types of posts and without knowing which was implanted the new dentist can’t provide the appropriate crown. DDSHamrick’s office refuses to provide his records because we have not paid for the post that he declined. Now my husband will have to undergo a surgical procedure whose only purpose is to identify the post type which DDS Hamrick’s records show but he will not disclose. We have spent over $5K on this one tooth and are still no closer to completion than we were two years ago. I would highly recommend you simplify your dental experience and find a different surgeon for your implant needs.

I had been very reluctant to switch from my periodontist in Florida to our location now in the Greenville, South Carolina area as I consider this a very serious endeavor to my health. However, I realized that it wasnt realistic to keep going to Florida and, in fact, had been disappointed with the last two appointments and the negative results that didnt fix the problem I had with my implants. I went to Periodontics of Greenville because Id heard that Dr. Trenton Jensen had come onboard and after checking about the company itself, felt confident about trying the transition when I had terrible inflammation in my gum and a loose implant that prompted me to seek assistance immediately. When I called the office, after hours, I Ieft a message on voicemail and and explained the situation, they called me first thing in the morning and told me there had been a cancellation. They set me up with that same morning appointment. I was truly impressed with the caliber of assistance, from the initial welcome to the walking me to schedule a follow-up appointment, after meeting with Dr. Jensen and his technician, Pearce. Pearce was very attentive and kept me feeling comfortable during the process as well with her down-to-earth conversation to relate to me.Regarding Dr. Jensen, I was truly impressed with the fact that he listened intently to my description of the issue, did his own thorough review of my mouth, and he did so with concern for my comfort throughout the process, especially since I had the inflammation going on. I would highly recommend Dr. Jensen and absolutely wish that I had switched earlier. Dr. Jensen also found that part of my crown had become broken and because of the discomfort Ive had with it since I had it installed in Florida, I believe that it was an issue that was overlooked by my former periodontist. I am grateful for the experience and have no hesitancy or reservation about going back. He is actually the only periodontist I would recommend now.

Just getting back home from having four teeth grafted and I have to say the experience wasnt bad at all. Dr. Bohlen took great care of me and was pain free from the shots to the surgery itself. I didnt feel a thing the entire procedure. I was a little nervous going into it but he did an absolutely great job. Highly recommend periodontics of greenville for anyone who needs any kind of tissue grafting done. Dont be scared of the procedure its not as bad as people make it out to be. Thank you again Dr. Bohlen!
