The holistic approach is extremely important and beneficial to my health and that of my family.I’ve had multiple appointments this year (2021) , one particular appointment was to remove my fillings. Very professional, walked me through the entire procedure which was fast and painless.I personally can not have a root canal, which many other dental practices do not stay open to a multitude of health issues and underlying conditions. At Palmer they do.The staff is incredible and you feel like the staff is part of your family. Very relaxing comfortable atmosphere.Today I was blessed to meet Taylor. It was a pleasure once again to be in their care.

I went to Palmer Dentistry to have my amalgams safely removed. As someone who occasionally suffers from anxiety, I was extremely nervous for the procedure. I cannot explain just how amazing this place is. All of the staff, from Dr. Palmer, Dr. Adams, to Jenny, Loren, Mariah, Karyn, etc. are always extremely kind and generous. Yes, they are professional, but these people have treated my family ( I have 7 kids!) with charity, respect and kindness. They have a great level of customer service skills, but it is beyond that, as they are truly empathetic and understanding of ones situation. Dr. Adam has treated my pregnant wife as if they were sisters, and I have always been greeted with a smile every time we have had appointments.I am always skeptical when I read reviews, much less write one. I can tell you that in the 3+ years we have been going to this office, it has always been the same, they treat us like family. The best part? They provide excellent, top notch modern dentistry care. I was so pleased to have found Palmer Distinctive Dentistry only an hour from my house. I needed my amalgam fillings removed by a biodentist for health reasons, and they scheduled me to come right away and then did the procedure the same day, instead of drawing it all out with several appointments. They were ALL so nice, from the girls up front, to the dental assistant, to Dr. Palmer. I had a bit of a panic issue about having work done in my mouth, and they were very understanding and accommodating in every way. I highly recommend Palmer Dentistry, and will return if my family or I need any more work done in the future!

Best experience for a nervous patient. Teeth extraction. I worried for a year, delaying the procedure. Initial visit with Dr.Palmer, was calming, informative and comforting.Made my appointment, was prepared by staff for what to expect. Given detailed written instructions, and, talked through my day before and day of, prep.Had two back teeth extracted today.The meds for sedation put me in a deep sleep. The headphones with my choice of tunes, the dark glasses, and blanket, took me away from the actual procedure. While everyonce in awhile, I could hear something, it was a pain free and trauma free experience.So happy to have that over and done.Thank you, Dr.Palmer and staff!

I was searching for a holistic dentist and am so grateful to have found Palmer Distinctive Dentistry in SC. I saw Dr Adams and she and the entire staff were ALL wonderful. I am grateful for their kindness, very positive and cheerful attitude, extraordinary skill, professional attitude and wonderful surroundings. As are many of us, I am slightly terrfied of dentist. As an elder, I have had my share of bad experiences/painful experiences in the dentist chair. Dr Adams and her staff were very patient and worked carefully with me to insure I was comfortable during each visit. They did some very deep work (repaired 2 broken teeth and removal of metal from 2 teeth) and yet the experience was very reasonable and I am not anxious when I go to their office. I used their holistic approach to relaxation (a disc on the wrist and headphones with quiet meditative music) and did quite will that. I highly, highly recommend them. They use the latest everything (including low exposure x rays) and are cheerful, VERY kind and gentle in their approach to caring for your teeth. I also want to add that I travel over an hour to reach them and they are well worth the trip!! On their website you will find a couple of videos of Dr. Palmer and his expertise in removing metal from teeth (highly skilled and careful with metal detox...I was so impressed!).Della Stacey 9/29/2020

So glad I found this practice online. It is an hour and 40 minutes away from where I live but well worth the drive!! Very friendly staff at Palmer Dentistry from the front office staff to the back area where the dentists and assistants work. Dr. Adams and her dental assistant were quick and thorough in everything they did. I had 4 large silver fillings removed since I wanted to get rid of the mercury in my mouth and the protocol taken to protect the patients and staff is top notch. I felt comfortable and relaxed and opted to listen to Christmas music through the headphones they provided. My only problem was my jaw popping during the procedure but thats because I have TMJ syndrome. I would highly recommend going here for any dental needs.

My 6 year old had an amazing first visit there today for a 2nd opinion. I was extremely impressed with the time they took with us. They are definitely distinctive in they way they care for their patients. I didnt feel like my son was just another patient to get in and out and make money off of. The office personnel, hygienist and dentist all took the time to speak to my son and make him feel comfortable and special. They were even extremely kind to my other 3 children not even being seen. They were able to treat my son quickly, inexpensively and naturally sparing him the extensive and unnecessary dental work his previous dentist was pushing. I highly recommend them if you are looking for an alternative to traditional dentistry. I plan to switch my entire family over to Palmers.

This dental office is a class act. I switched to them a year ago. They’ve removed all amalgam fillings from my mouth, replaced a crown in one hour, do gentle cleanings. The facility is beautiful, more like a home than a dental office. And they are same-day responsive to urgent needs like an old filling falling out. I have to amalgams removed. I came from North Carolina to have these procedures done. I felt safe and protected during the procedure. I have more work needs to be done and I’m waiting for an update on those costs. I would’ve loved to of had that information the same day or next day. I hope I get it soon.
