I cannot say enough amazing things about Chelsea and Marquita at Spero! We have used this dynamic duo for two different car loans and they are the dream team. They - quite handily - squashed all competitors offers and had the loans quoted and closed within hours. They handled a situation with a very frustrating and unprofessional car dealership with more grace than they deserved and made it happen when most others would have thrown in the towel. If you’re looking for your next loan or place to bank with, look no further!

Terrible service extremely slow just to make a deposit!!! They try to sell refinance loans from the drive through and make people wait over an hour to process loans during peak hours!!!

Have been a member for 10 years good standing and when They changed over to Spero it went downhill. The customer service, the process from one credit union to another. I won’t recommend to anyone to go there.

Got a auto loan back in May of2018 and opened a savings account with SCTELCO. Had a great experience until they changed to Spero.financial. I made all of my payments on time until the pandemic hit. Got a email to call the recovery department 1st person I spoke with was said they could help me deferr my loan for a month, while all others lenders were doing 3months. Finally got a hold of someone that really listened and helped me get the 90 days. Since then I have tried to make my payment back a few months ago I missed one and then got behind. So I have tried to keep in touch and make arrangements to catch back up. (I do NOT answer numbers I dont know and they dont leave a voice mail) I made the Spero aware that my vehicle was not in the best condition in December and I would like to have someone call me about anything we could do(never got a call). Got mostly caught up owed $150 and change on my January payment. On Feb 6th I was in a single vehicle accident. On February 19th I went into a bank to talk about opening another auto loan and using the vehicle as trade in on a new loan. But it turned out that I could file a claim on my auto insurance.(which I did) when I went to my appointment on Friday I told them what happened and that there was a claim and that the vehicle might have been totaled. So I asked if we could put a hold on the account for a few days to see what insurance was going to do the following week. No was the answer. I had 144 in my savings account. I gained access to my online banking monday at 12:30. I called the recovery department at 1:20 to see if there was anything I needed to do to help with insurance claim. No was the answer. I was then told I only owed $15 and change for my January payment.? (What? Ok) I told them I had $144 in my savings to take the $15 balance out of that... Thats already be taken...(huh?) So I told him I would pay it later. Call a local branch they looked it up and said the RECOVERY DEPARTMENT took it. I said I did not ok that. She said she would contact them and they would call me back. THEY DID NOT!! Apparently this is legal as I looked it up. But it is still some Bull! My 144 was taken from my account Monday(feb 22) 1hr after I regained access to it. Then today(feb 25) I get a notice in the mail saying I owe 13.05.? And that its very important I contact them. That they view my lack of response to prior cNotices and phone calls as an extremely serious matter. I just talk to them Monday. When the issue with my vehicle is resolved I will be closing my account. I will not recommend to ANYONE! I will warn people about the constant harassment and threats of recovery of vehicle that I have recieved.

I have been with Telco for over 25 years. I have always been treated very nice. I have never had a problem with my checking account or savings account. I have had a personal loan and two car loans with them and never had a problem. I will never change to another credit union Union or bank. I am happy with Telco.

The employees go the extra mile to ensure you leave having accomplished everything you went to them to do. My visit on 4/22/2020 was no different. There were long lines, but they moved smoothly and efficiently. This location and its employees rock!

I been a member to this place for a while and the customer service on the phone was good but now they are horrible I been trying to contact then for the longest and been on the phone for 30 min. Now that is sad you people need to do better are im going to stop paying on my loan I cant be going thru this!! You already gave garbage warrenty

Been a member for 4 years 2 auto loans and Credit card. All accounts were in good standing, I called for a credit increase. I would not recommend if you are trying to build credit with them. I have another card with another bank, shorter length of time and was offered an increase within the first year. THEY DO NOT TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION GOOD STANDING RAPPORT!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO BUILD CREDIT.Update: this is for SC Telco, Spero Financial, formerly SC Telco Federal Credit Union. After posting the review they closed the card I had with them and tried to say it was due to other reason when I was on time for a few years. Smh Talk about retaliation.

They charge me 15 dollars to pay with a debit card and if I pay by phone they also charge me 15 dollars! I will never use this place again to finance anything. customer service is horrible.

I sold my car in November to Carvana. It is now February and I have yet to receive receipt from Spero. I’ve called everyday and has been told a different answer everyday ,usually it’s a 35-45 minutes hold just to get someone on the phone.

I know service should be slower based on COVID19, but I’ve been in drive thru for 45 mins behind two cars before I made it to the machine to make my transaction. Ridiculously slow service which makes no sense. Watched the other two lanes go by so quick. Obviously the tellers inside are super slow. Worst experience ever at the Versace location. Will never return to this location to do business again.
