This was my first time at the Dental Care Center. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and no one made me feel like I was bothering them by asking questions. Can highly recommend.

Great experience for my daughter and me. Not a lot of wait-time once we arrived and the staff is very friendly and fun. The dentist was gentle, professional, and helpful.

The technician who cleaned my teeth was TERRIBLE. the reason I will not be coming back. The suction would not work and she did not fix it. The blood would run down my chin and onto my clothes which caused a blood stain on my shirt. I constantly had extra blood in my mouth due to the suction not working and had to ask for a cup to spit in because I was tired of it falling down my chin and/or holding it in my mouth. Throughout the entire time she never apologized tried to help. She was also very rough and was unapologetic. She was the worse person I have every felt with at a dentist office. Took my babies to their first dental appointment and they (my kids and the staff) did an amazing job! Everyone was so friendly and the ease of doing the paperwork online saved so much time. I think I may make an appointment for myself soon. 😌

I have never liked going to a dentists office because of fear. I do not like the shots in the mouth, the sound of the drill, etc and there always seems to be that one individual in an office with a bad attitude. I can truly say that I have been to the Dental Care center on three different occasions and my experience was awesome each time. EVERYONE from the receptionists to the dental assistant, to the hygienist, to the dentist, to the finance manager was pleasant, professional, and calming. The atmosphere is happy. The workers seemed to be like family. I truly enjoyed the experience.

Ive been calling an calling this place for months and no answer!! Ive even went on line to make an appointment and still no call back ,My Husband called on Tuesday bc he had an emergency, someone picked up and it seemed as if some one realized that they didnt want to pick up I heard them laughing and then they hung up on him.. I rather just take my family somewhere else where we feel like a priority....and not a joke.

Everyone is very friendly. They are very professional, I am so glad I found this dental office. They are going help with problems I had for years, and all it took was a female dentist to see. Thank you all very much for the hospitality!

I remember this place as a 12 year old child. HATED MY ENTIRE VISIT😭 . after going here I didnt see a dentist for YEARS! Hopefully they got much better with how they deliver information to patients especially kids, they were very unprofessional!

Great experience! I brought my 5 year old son because I didn’t have anyone to watch him while I had my appointment and the staff was amazing with keeping him occupied while I got X-rays. The dental assistant named Tee really helped my son to calm down and occupied since his energy was on overload. She and other staff helped my nerves go down as well knowing that I can focus on my dental care and my son be calm for awhile. I appreciate their help so I THANK YOU all and I my dental care was top notch:) DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!!!

Dont bother. Based on my experiences, you will receive good care by the hygienists but you wont see the same dentist twice. The office will not be able to tell you what your appointment is for (if they answer the phone or return your calls). Your billing will be a nightmare (including losing track of your payments and payment information and only being able to tell you that you owe a Balance Forward but not what it is for, after telling you that you have no outstanding payments due). You will wait forever while they have a staff meeting during your scheduled appointment time, and they will forget to order medication needed for an appointment made three months prior. Office attitudes are not professional and the tension among employees in the back is obvious and not at all reassuring while you listen to them trying to figure out what you are there for and if the office did their required COVID questions (not). X-rays sent to my new dentist were useless and missed an obvious problem which my new dentist discovered right away after taking new x-rays. If youre looking for dental care and a professional office and billing department, keep looking.

Given that I went to this location before and had an extremely long wait time, i cannot give the full 5 stars, thought this visit was a 5 star visit. The dental assistant, Tee, was amazing! I have a 10 year old who talks A LOT and is super higher energy. Tee was just as energetic and personable, not to mention has the patience of a God! Dr. Clapham was also patient and friendly. I hope we get them again next time we go

I have been here several times in the past few years. The wait time has consistently been very long. My previous dentist of +15 years is an hour away which is why I decided to switch to the Dental Care Center. At my last appointment the Dental Care Center told me I had two cavities in which I was a little surprised about. I made an appointment to have the fillings done. I ended up cancelling to have my original (+15 year) dentist complete the fillings instead. I had my x rays from The Dental Care Center of Greenville faxed to my previous dentist. Previous dentist said he could not manipulate the electronic x rays due to poor quality. I called the Dental Care Center back to get a print out image and brought this with me to my appt. I asked the person on the phone if the cavities could be clearly seen from the image. She stated yes. I took these to my appt yesterday to have my fillings completed. He saw NO cavities from the x rays completed by The Dental Care Center OR by him. I paid to have x rays completed AGAIN $$$. He stated he did NOT see anything to be filled. I would like to know how this is possible?! Were they really going to drill my mouth when it did not need to be done? This is so concerning. Wont be returning unless they make it right.

The Dental Care Center I can highly recommend for all your dental needs. It’s truly a family affair. From appt to service rendered they are number one. Great atmosphere, caring and very knowledgeable. Driven by excellence. Takes time in answering questions or concerns you may have. Customer service, hygienist, dentist in a league of their own . Me and my kids been going here for some years good dental office I dont be having any problems the only thing is the wait be long sometimes not all the time but its understandable at times but overall they are good good customer service friendly people.

Staff was friendly, the wait wasn’t too long, the care I received during my procedure was excellent.

Disrespectful, rude, and unfriendly employees.It took my wife two days of calling multiple times to get someone to pick up the phone. We asked if if we would be able to go back with our child for his first ever dentist appointment. Finally got an answer over the phone two hours prior to the appointment - yes. Two hours later when my wife arrived they went back on their word and refused this. After my wife confronted them about the discrepancy an employee went to the back to ask permission about if my wife could come back they (after my wife had to come back - again and again - and ask since nothing was happening), they said she could only after his x-ray, and they would let her know. She waited some more. Nothing. Then after a while they brought him out finished. It was just a delaying tactic and they intentionally lied to my wife. When she expressed frustration about it they just acted annoyed and rolled their eyes.Every employee she encountered was rude and had an attitude.Leadership there needs to deal with this problem. If not, then the problem there is the leadership.

I had a appointment for 12:10 and arrived I on time for my appointment and it went on a hour and I still wasn’t called to be seen. I spoke with the receptionist and she stated that they were cleaning a room and would be calling me soon but I still was never called and also people who arrived way later than me were seen before me. Horrible service!!!

I’m speaking to a lawyer! I went here for help, and a new female dentist saw me. She was rude , condescending and treated me like I was a low income “nothing “ that was not worth her time. I had a loose tooth that was badly infected. I was upset because I knew the tooth had to be extracted. I wanted to talk about options. ( replacing the tooth in my partial and permanent implants. But this dentist acted like I was an idiot and in her opinion the best thing to do was to remove all my teeth. They did X-rays and she told me how badly the tooth was infected, into the jawbone. I refused to let her extract the tooth because she would not replace it in my partial and would not consider any other options and thought it was ridiculous that I would even consider implants. She acted like I could not afford it , so why would she talk about other options. I was crying, upset.( I have insurance and work full time) This dentist knew I had a bad infection and did not treat me at least for the infection. I ended up getting a second opinion and they saw me immediately, fit me into their schedule. We talked about options, they were wonderful. My tooth was extracted and the infection was severe, up in the jaw bone. They replaced the tooth in my partial and I received a bone graft so that the tooth will be replaced with an implant and i was put on an antibiotic. I am speaking to a lawyer. This place is unprofessional, racist, and totally irresponsible. They do not care about the well-being of their patients. My advice is to Stay away!!

The staff are kind and professional and services received were adequate, but expect a long wait any time you call (if anybody even answers) and before being taken back (regardless of how early you arrive for your appointment). I have had appointments scheduled for various times of the day and have consistently waited over an hour; it seems that the status quo at this office is to be consistently behind schedule. I am happy with the care I received, but would not recommend this practice unless you are comfortable clearing your days schedule for every appointment.

My experience with The Dental Care Center has been great! I had neglected my teeth for years, and needed A LOT of fillings, extractions, as well as new partial dentures. I was able to get all my extensive work done within a couple of months. My dentures were done in half a day. They fit so well I talk & eat without using adhesive. Staff was very flexible about scheduling and very friendly. The only negative is the size of the waiting room. It really is much too small. I smile all the time now!!

Yesterday my 5 year old son was playing and fell face first knocking his tooth out, the first place I called was the dental care center. (Our family dentist) I was crying hysterically and explained to them what had happened, they were willing to see him the SAME DAY and within 20 minutes of speaking to me. The entire staff was extremely understanding and super nice. Im forever thankful for the immediate response and for everyone making sure my son was OK. He even got a little gift when he was finished ❤️ Thanks again dental care center 🙌

My daughter is very nervous when it comes to dentists and doctors. The staff at The Dental Care Center always puts her at ease. They provide excellent care and always take the time to answer all questions and concerns.

Friendly, professional staff! Made my sons first dentist appointment fun and scare-free! Scheduled our appointments jointly on the same day, which was extremely efficient and convenient. So grateful for the awesome experience and exceptional staff!

Absolutely horriable! Waited for an hour just to be seen had multiple x-rays taken to be told that their x-ray machine doesnt work and Im going to have to go to a different office absolutely piss-poor I cannot fathom how theyre still in business. I wouldnt recommend them to anyone except the Better Business Bureau to be revived and laughed at.

The staff was very welcoming. Amanda and Dr. Jilg were both excellent at explaining my diagnosis. Both are compassionate and understanding and helped to ease my concerns. I would highly recommend.

I will never go back to this office. They are ill-mannered and unprofessional. I had two appts scheduled today for myself and my 2 sons had scheduled appts for teeth cleaning.y last appt was scheduled for 1:30 at 3:00 I left without having my work done because I refuse to continue to sit there and wait with noone even coming by to check on me.

Elizabeth provides my dental care and she does a fabulous job. I got my teeth whiten Friday an chose the Zoom technique and I must say the results were amazing!🙀🙀

I would give this place zero stars if I could. I’ve been calling for months to schedule an appointment and no one ever calls back! It takes forever to be called in the back to be seen. I will not hesitate to switch to another dentist. I do not recommend this place to anyone

They will NOT return any calls and arent very friendly over the phone. However there is some employees in the back that are WONDERFUL. If they hired more employees like the ones in the back for the reception area then i am sure they would be a better business.

Very happy with our visit! I read reviews and thought Id give it a try. Everyone was extremely nice and professional. Both of my children received full X-rays, cleanings and exams. We were in & out in 1 hour! Well be back for sure!

The staff are very nice but there is a new lady dentist that says somewhat rude remarks. I wish the other dentist was still working there. I will be looking for a new dental office to attend soon.

I am very disappointed with this company. No one ever answers the phone. You have to leave a voicemail and hope someone calls you back. When they do call you back and you miss the phone call they leave you a voicemail to call them back at (insert number here), so when you call back it goes right back to voicemail again. Every time I’ve shown up for my appointment it takes 1-2 hours to get called back for your appointment and sometimes you don’t have a place to sit. The only reason I haven’t switched dentists (yet) is because when you’re actually called back the care received is exceptional. Today however, my son had an appointment in Smithfield, NC because one of the dentists there will sedate minors. We drove over an hour from Greenville in pouring rain to get there, only to find out their systems were down and the doctors and staff were leaving for the day. They should have had a way to contact their patients in case something like this were to occur. I took off work for today and wasted my time and gas. I’m not sure if I’ll be going back.

Ive been going to this Dental Office for a year & overall I have good experiences. Dr. Mani is the bomb...Great personality, great Service, great sense of humor & he looks pretty darn good! (lol) The staff is great, very professional. The only thing that is distasteful is the small waiting room that seems to always be full. The seating is very limited; and often theres patients standing while waiting to be called. But the professional atmosphere & Dr. Mani makes the seating sacrifice worth my while! I absolutely Love The Dental Care Center!!!

Went to my appointment and was told I needed 19 fillings. 19! and that it was going to cost me 5,269.00 cash (no insurance) I was told by my boss to try another place for a second opinion so I did. A week apart from the visit here, signed release forms of my X-rays-they sent the new dentist the WRONG X-rays, someone else’s X-rays, luckily the dentist caught it and knew they couldn’t be mine. They finally send the correct X-rays and he tells me that I need no where near 19 fillings, I need less than 9. So this dentist office “the dental care center” was going to put at least another 10 fillings in teeth that didn’t even need fillings! Over treating my mouth! I will never trust this place with my mouth or my child’s ever again! Not only over treating my mouth but also OVERCHARGING. I’m so thankful that I agreed to the second opinion because now I’m getting the correct treatment needed and for less than 2,000. I wonder how many other people are being over treated at this place. I honestly can not believe y’all were going to put fillings in teeth that didn’t need fillings and not only that you send my new dentist X-rays that were someone else’s! So unprofessional and careless! All about money!

I have not made an appointment here yet but I am going to schedule one for myself and my children. My first experience with this dental office was at a prom event I attended. They had a fun booth, very friendly ladies working the booth. The two ladies on stage were very friendly. They stopped and talked to my friend and I were so nice. Fastward to yesterday and my son came home from school with a neat dental coloring book and right on the cover was The logo for this place. This place is doing a lot for our community and I appreciate that.

There is no room in the waiting area at all. Every time I go I have to clear my schedule for the entire day because it takes so long just to get back. My child has extreme anxiety and dental phodia, nobody worked with us to ensure that she will be able to remain calm. The dentist didnt even introduce himself. My daughter ended up leaving because her tooth wouldnt numb, she had an anxiety attack in the office then left crying and in pain. There is no assistance for those with dental phobia, wouldnt recommend for anyone with such.

Dr. Mani and Dr. Klein are wonderful dentists. I highly recommend this dental office. Everyone is awesome, so nice. Luis is one of my favorite dental assistants. Had to get a filling today and didnt feel a thing. Again, if youre looking for a great dental practice, this is the one! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great service Monique was awesome. Significant communication issues in the front office. 3 reminders of when my appointment is but when I arrive Im told the center is running behind schedule. Time is money. Its the same as if you make plans with someone and they dont call you to tell you they are running late. The sooner you get out in front of time conflicts the better.

Terrible. Ripped me off twice on repairs. Guess that makes it my fault. The whole place has an air of incompetence. You get the feeling you are at a time share pitch not a medical facility. Take my advice and ask a real dentist where to go. If they recommend this place, get a new dentist.

I attempted to obtain the cost of becoming a patient at this clinic. After chatting with Amber I was told they couldnt give me any type of cost estimate information for a known needed procedure until I was seen and purchased a consult with them. Since they are one of the few providers that accept my employer provided insurance I was interested in transitioning to their practice. If they are this secretive about charges how could I ever trust them with my dental needs?The company could have ascertained my insurance information, had a discussion with me about which procedures were needed, and than given me a reasonable estimate of cost. Instead I would have to take off work for a consult just to get a quote for a procedure I know I need. Poor business management and from many of the other reviews it appears this practice needs an office manager that knows how to run a practice.

Grateful for these dentists and assistants! Very prompt, great presentation,and short waiting times to see your professionals. Also, appointments are easy to get within a very reasonable time frame.

Rude customer service reps / call center people. When you ask a question you get a smart butt answer . No room in waiting area . 3 and 5 year old put in 2 opposite ends of building. Can’t even fill a simple cavity . Not impressed and wouldn’t recommend for pets 🤦‍♀️ Let alone children .

Expect to wait at least an hour for your appointment. And if you have any problems or concerns regarding the staff your best keep them to yourself. Youll only hear excuses.

Arrived for my daughter visit for a filling at 1:00 pm, told after checking in that the dentist was running behind and we would have a 30 minute wait. Okay. The small lobby the office has was packed with no available seats so we waited outside after informing receptionist. They called me on the number I left at exactly 30 minutes. Since my youngest daughter was home from school due to having some pain, she was also with me at the appointment for her older sister. I was told there could only be 1 person to go back with other daughter. Okay, should I leave my 9 yo in lobby alone? I have never, never has these problems at Dr. Michels and Gauqie office which is where I would have taken my daughter if they were less expensive. There should be no problem with taking a sibling back while another sibling is being treated if they are not causing problems and can sit in parents lap. So now my daughter and I have to wait outside again due to no seats and then I will have to go back inside and deal with staff regarding future appointments. Just a waste of valuable time.

Terrible placeI waited 3 hours with my children and instead of extracting the baby tooth for my child, the dentist said to go buy sticky candy to get it out because he was too busy. How RIDICULOUS. It was Dr. Mani. What an inconsiderate idiot. The hygienist and receptionist were fine though.

Hit or miss. The scheduling process is sub par. Do not ever plan on going to this place on your lunch break, you will be disappointed.

The techs are very nice. Now with that being said, I have about had it with The Dental Care Center. My children have been going here for years. In the beginning my boys had the same appt time and were seen together and that was good. The wait time has always sucked. I make sure Im here early, and I mean like a good 30 min. to 45 mins. and still are not seen on time. People that come in around our appt time are always seen first. Hell our appt was at 1:50pm today and here it is 3:06pm and we are finally in a room. Oh but wait BOTH OF MY BOYS HAD A 1:50 appt. Im so done with this place. My son just hurt himself in the chair he is in because the armrests are broke off. When I said something to the front the lady was nice nasty to me. Sarcastic.

I did my due diligence by arriving at my appointment eight minutes earlier only to have the receptionist tell me that I have to wait an hour to after my appointment to get a completed cleaning. Also, the place is the waiting room is to small, especially if the area is full of waiting clients. The place should offer Wi-Fi to those, such as myself, who show to their appointments either early our on time if they have to wait a minute after.After getting in, the dentist are professional, polite, and pleasing to have a discussion. Even so, I cant get over the appointment issue. Im going to look for a new dentist.

Love the doctors and staff but my problem is that its hard to talk to somebody to make an appointment. You have to leave a massage and hoping theyll call back.🙄Im still trying to contact them to make an appointment for my kids.

PSA, “typically spending 45 minutes” here is in reference to the time you spend sitting in the waiting room while your scheduled appointment time has passes.

I have brought my children here 3 times now. Each time there is never enough room to sit in the waiting room and the wait is always 45 mins or more. This will be the last time I bring my kids back here. They dont value our time.

My moms dentist in New Bern, NC told mom she needed the services of a periodontist after his cleaning, exam, and x-rays. The peri in New Bern does not take her insurance, so after searching her insurance companies website, I gave her the number for this place. They insisted she would have to see one of the dentists in the there practice before she could even see the periodontist, though she JUST went to the dentist who told her she needs a periodontist,. Greedy. Not getting any of her money at all. There are others that take her insurance.

Today my wife and I had an appointment at 11:30. We arrived early at 11:00. Before going, we did all of our new patient paper work online. We were checked in and waited. There were those who came in after us who had 11:30-11:40 appointments too who were being called back. Some even filled out new patients forms while waiting. Around 12:05, I inquired about our wait time. The receptionist looked at the screen with shock as if she didnt see our names. She got up and was away for 6 minutes. She stated that I will be informed in a few minutes. She told me that we had about a 15 min wait. I stated that our appointment was at 11:30. She stated that they were short staffed. I told her that we were leaving and did not wanted to reschedule another appointment. They literally forgot that we were waiting and tried to make excuses aftering having seen others go back before us.

I will be finding a new dentist. I chipped my tooth and have been calling and leaving messages for a week now at the dentist. Finally a week later I call and someone answers ( no they did not call me back, and yes, I left my name, date of birth, and telephone number). The lady then tells me that I have to wait another 2 weeks to be seen. This is crazy.
