This was my first visit to the office and, naturally, I was a little nervous, but Dr. Nickles and his staff are extremely friendly and professional which put me at ease. They saw me right away and made quick and painless work of a wisdom tooth extraction. Also, the estimate was very competitive and I paid nearly half of what another oral surgeon quoted me for the same procedure. Ill definitely be going back for regular maintenance and check-ups!

Such an amazing atmosphere, team, and experience! My husband had an emergency and they were able to get him in within an hour for extraction. They were very inviting, honest, and affordable. My family and I will be coming back as regular patients!

Dr. Nichols and his staff are truly remarkable and do their jobs very well. These reviews and praises you see on TV commercials concerning other dentist offices are usually highly overrated, overhyped. These other dentist offices rely on huge, overly extravagant offices, overly bells and whistles to lure customers in. In this case, Nickels Dentistry works really hard and efficient to serve their patients. Absolutely no surprises. They come up with a game plan for your dental needs, explain each and every move, every flexible scheduling options for your appointments. They make you feel real safe in those warm clean comfortable rooms you got your examinations or procedures done. Staff exudes confidence you can feel that when they treat you. Overall good experiences considering youre going to the dentist.

I arrived in a tremendous amount of pain from a toothache, the staff recognized it right away and took me back immediately. They treated me as a priority and an emergency, took care of my problem and had me out the door in no time. The X-ray showed I had two cracked teeth and one completely broken, So I had to have all three pulled. I am writing this review less than 24 hours later and already I feel 100% better. Thanks to the entire staff at Nickles dental, everyone was so nice. If you are looking for a permanent dentist or even an emergency like myself I highly recommend giving Nickles a try first.

I went to Dr. Nickles for a periodontal ‘deep’ cleaning. The staff was friendly and efficient- got me in and out quickly. The treatment was reasonably priced, and I feel like they took excellent care of my teeth. He’s now become my regular dentist. Highly recommended.

PLEASE DO JOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!!!This place is a scam. As soon as you go into the office they will tell you that you need an X-ray of your teeth that cost $250. They already know your insurance company will not pay for the X-ray but tell you it’s needed to see nerves in your mouth so the dentist will not make a mistake. The X-ray is not needed and the X-rays that your regular dentist performs is good enough. Although I told the lady to wait on a pre approval from my insurance company first the lady went forward anyway and completed the X-ray without my permission. I did not sign the paper to perform the test but was charged anyway. You do not get to see a dentist until you agree to the crazy expensive costs. He tells the front desk person what to tell you in order to make a major decision. Please do not go to this place unless you ant to be scammed and treated like a moneybag. They used my daughter’s situation to scam me out of money. I was able to contact a professional dental clinic that cost 1/3 of the price and my insurance company paid. Most insurance companies will not deal with this place. The office is a hole in the wall and so tight and a cheap store front.

Dr. Nickels and his entire staff are the absolute best dentist I’ve been to ever!! I highly recommend them for the entire family! He has put in more care and effort into trying to figure out what and why my diagnosis of Chronic Lyme Disease has destroyed and continues to destroy my teeth than even the “specialists” Dr’s and Dentists have over the last 12 years! You will never meet a more genuine Dentist in your life! Only advice would be careful if you go in for a pain appointment because no matter how bad the pain is, he will have you doubled over laughing! I will be bringing my entire family over during the rest of this month to see and experience The World’s Best Dentist Ever, in my opinion!!

This place is awesome. I had a tooth that was giving me unbearable pain. They worked around my schedule to get me in there as soon as possible. There were problems with my insurance and the woman at the front desk worked very had on it until we got it figured out. They were very professional, very fast, and very considerate. The Doctor is a great guy. He pulled 3 teeth for me in a matter of minutes with awesome finesse and great technique. He done very well getting my mouth numb and I felt no real pain at all. I highly recommend this office, they are the real deal.

I was in a lot of pain and needed help fast! They had great customer service and was able to get me seen fast. They helped to even verify coverage prior to coming and stuck to my budget concerns. The Dentist had great bedside manners which is extremely important to me. It felt very much like an extended family you like to go see. The outside my not look like much but the inside is beautiful and homey. I am changing my Dentist to Dr. Nickles for all my dentistry needs because of the level of service and his rule of no judgment. Too many Dentist scold there patients which makes them uncomfortable and never want to return. This didnt happen here. I found this highly rated on google and gave it a go, because I had a broken back tooth, and felt horrible. The receptionist was nice and got me in the same day within a couple of hours. Check in was a breeze, the dental assistant was so professional and sweet and helped me calm my nerves during the whole process. Dr. Nickles was amazing, very nice, professional and had a sense of humor that put me at ease. Getting numbedwasn’t bad, they were not rushing like most offices do and wanted to make sure I was comfortable and didn’t feel any pain. He got that tooth out in less than 5 minutes and the whole experience from start to finish has changed my thoughts on dentists offices.. they are NOT all the same and I have decided to make Dr. Nickles my new dentist .I haven’t felt this calm in a dentist since my childhood dentist retired. Same day appointments are a blessing I had a terrible wisdom toothache that needed to be pulled they were able to see me quickly and were very courteous the entire duration of my visit Dr. Nickles and his staff are very professional at what they do Dr. Nickles popped my tooth without any pain no surgery or pulling pieces out of my mouth were necessary I got the vibe that they generally care about the patients they see and have a love for what they do I’m confident this is the office that I will want to see for my dental journey I will refer anyone to this office!

Excellent place! I had two emergency visits in the last 3 weeks (one tooth pulled and another tooth had a root canal). I am usually terrified of dentist due to previous experiences. Not with Dr. Nickles, he is very personable and knowledgeable not only in dentistry but random facts as well. It is a pleasure now to visit the dentist. Its also very helpful because he can do most of the work other dentist have to send patients to other offices (i.e. root canal). For me that brings more anxiety as I will have to get comfortable with a new doctor I dont know. So its a one stop shop for me with a great staff with whom I am pleased.

From the moment you walk in you are greeted with a warm welcome and your own personal photo shoot. Do not forget your ID cause they need to get a picture of it as well. There was no judgement about the condition of my teeth and they work with you to restore your health back to where it should be. Only mentioned what was necessary at the appointment and didnt try to sell me on implants or dentures which is a wonderful feeling of not having someone shove this or that down your throat. I would recommend them to anyone.

I had a terrible tooth ache yesterday. Called Dr nickels office. They got me in today and cured my pain and discomfort within 24 hours . The Dentist did not do my examine and yet they charged me. I waited 2.5hrs in the examine chair and was never seen. I’m giving them 1 star because that’s the lowest they’ll allow. Also that very same day the front desk receptionist Crystal physically attacked another co-worker and the cops were called. This is the most ghetto Dentist office I’ve ever been to. If you want to be seen by a professional this is NOT the place to be.

Very professional and easy going office. My first visit here was due to and was able to make an appointment early morning the following day, haven’t been able to find this anywhere else in greenville. I have had awful experiences with past dentists and tend to be very anxious about having to visit them but during my appointment I was impressed about not only their quickness and efficiency but also their wonderful attitudes and dispositions. I was honestly terrified of having a badly infected, wisdom tooth pulled because of awful experiences in the past. But from start to finish my experience here was unmatched. Ms. Crystal was so polite and helpful on the phone and in person. Ms. Starr was so kind, patient and informative. She answered all of my 100s of questions with tons of info and without judgement. You can tell she truly loves what she does. My doctor, I believe his name was Daniel Nickels? He had me laughing so hard I thought i might choke on my gauze! Hah. Very light, fun, super nice staff and as long as this place is in business, Ill never go anywhere else. How often can you say having an infected wisdom tooth pulled was an enjoyable experience? I have to add also the second I said I could feel pain everything halted without hesitation and patiently gave more numbing solution. They moved at my speed and comfort while maintaining professionalism and kindness. Im so thankful for this staff! If more places were like this one, I dont think dentists would be as feared as they are.

Dr. Nickles was out of town because of a family emergency. Starr cleaned my teeth, and she really made me comfortable. Starr did an excellent job on my teeth, and I will request her on future cleanings. She will call me concerning a scheduled date for implants and rustling. Two important schedules.As usual Starr did her thing. She immediately found issues with my teeth, explained what she had found, and advised Dr. Nickles on what she had observed. She always makes me feel comfortable. Not pleased on what she found, but glad she found them. She is due for a raise!

I cant tell you how much this place has changed my outlook at the dentist. I was terrified to go until I reached a level of unbearable tooth pain.Id been avoiding for months by taking OTC pain killers which stop working for the pain after taking them for weeks, I visited the office today was inform of my condition of 3 Abscesses. I received the numbing with needle...and felt absolutely NOTHING at all. When he removed all 3 teeth, I was waiting for pain but it was all OVER, NO PAIN- fast service and very friendly staff. I had a crack in my tooth that finally eroded to the point that my nerve was exposed and I was in EXTREME pain for days.I finally couldn’t handle it anymore and Googled “emergency tooth extractions.” Dr. Nickles was maybe the third site I reviewed, and was the only facility I called. I explained to the receptionist my situation, and she scheduled me to come in at 7:30am THE NEXT DAY!The entire staff was extremely friendly and personable, yet professional. The registration process was very efficient (you can even do it online, ahead of time), and the extraction itself was super-fast and painless. The pricing was super-reasonable and included exam and x-rays. I will definitely be back for regular maintenance and if I ever have another emergency.

Absolutely amazing office. After calling 13 offices this morning and being told no one could get me in until Mid-Late June/Early July, I finally ran across this one and gave them a call. Ms. Crystal answered and was very kind, caring, and LISTENED to my problem. She didnt rush me off the phone or get aggravated at my many questions. She got me in NOT EVEN 2 hours later and my experience there was lovely. Walked in, greeted with smiles, and not too long after I was checked in I was already in the back having Ms. Star take my x-rays (absolutely lovely woman, her personality is so bright and bubbly) and Dr. Nickles (very charming man, great attitude and good sense of humor) came in shortly after to take out the problem tooth. I have generalized anxiety disorder and although my husband couldnt be back with me due to the new safety precautions, they made sure I was calm by explaining everything thoroughly and their attitudes made it all the better. Every office Ive ever been to have all worried about the professionalism and not exactly the patient, themselves, but Dr. Nickles and his team care 110% and I will most definitely only be using them from here on out.

Great experience. I had gone to my own dentist after having to wait 5 days for an appointment even though I had told them I was in quite a bit of pain, and was then told I would need a root canal, but it would be a week until they could do it. I called Nickles, they worked me in for an exam right away, scheduled the root canal for as soon as possible, and gave me pain meds to hold me over til then, along with antibiotics. Great people.

I visited several dentists and found everyone of them not able to provide me with the compassion and professionalism Dr Nickles and his team offer to me. My husband had a broken tooth that was causing him enormous amounts of pain. We called Dr.Nickles and they saw us that same day. They were friendly and cared about our issues. They treated us as if we were family. This is an amazing office.

I went here for a root canal on the bottom back tooth in my mouth, a tricky spot. The entire procedure was good. The entire staff is wonderful and Crystal makes sure everyone is well taken care of. If I could give negative stars, I would. The office staff is rude and over bills insurance by using incorrect coding. After calling to discuss this, the receptionist, Crystal, was so unprofessional and even hung up on me. I would never recommend this dentist to anyone. I even called the insurance company and they confirmed the wrong code was used for cleaning. Crystal would not hear this and she argued with me. I was very calm and polite, trying to explain I was being charged the wrong coding and she hung up on me. Please make sure you all check your bills before paying a penny.

There should really be a 100 star option for this dentist as well as ALL of his lovely staff members! From the moment I reached out for more information online, I knew I was choosing the right dentist. Dr. Nickles communicated with me promptly via chat on his website and assured me that he would work with me and get me out of pain as soon as possible and he did just that! With him being the stellar dentist he is, he was booked up for the next month or so, but he was able to squeeze me in seeing that I was in so much pain and for that I’m very thankful! As if those experiences weren’t enough, Dr. Nickles wowed me yet again when over the weekend I was experiencing EXTREME pain and discomfort and even though his office is closed Friday-Sunday, his assistant Crystal kept constant communication with me and when nothing was getting me out of pain, Dr. Nickles drove OVER AN HOUR ON A SUNDAY just to visit me!!! Now that is OUTSTANDING patient care. Also, the fact that after treatment on that Sunday, Dr. Nickles DID NOT take me directly to the register (though I’m sure the bill is coming lol) showed me that I was top priority and that made me feel like gold! I clearly can go on and on about how amazing my experience here has been, but I think I’ve said enough and made it crystal clear that I HIGHLY recommend this amazing dentist! The love, patience, compassion and outstanding care is what is needed in these days we’re living! To the Nickles Dental crew, thank each of you for being more than what healthcare should be. 💕

Great dentist, the best I have ever used. I wont go anywhere else or take my family anywhere else. They speak Spanish also so I really love that for my family.

I can’t say enough for Dr. Nickles and his staff. His is very good at what he does and everyone there is so pleasant to be around. Such an enjoyable experience that I almost forgot I was at a dentist office!

Dr. Nickles and his staff treat all their patients with kindness and respect regardless. They always make sure you are comfortable and not in any pain. Dr. Nickles treats you like he would want to be treated himself.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Nickles for at least 25 years. Dr. Nickles and his staff are very friendly and professional. Dr. Nickles is gentle and takes care to make his patient comfortable. We have always been pleased with his work.

Everything was great. I mean nobody really likes going to the dentist but Dr Nickels and his team make everything more bearable. Theyre quick and easy. Everyone is knowledgeable.

This practice has been my family dentist for just over 14 years! Dr. Nickles is always wonderful and the staff is very professional. On this last visit I had to have two teeth pulled and it went so smoothly. The office is always clean and the staff works hard to keep the flow of business moving. I have neglected my teeth for years and I finally had the abcess of a lifetime. I called Dr. Nickles office and was given a next morning appointment. I had already heard great things, and since I was looking for a dentist to do all my work...including up to dentures, I decided to go for my appointment. The entire staff were excellent. They did a full set of xrays as well as a CT scan, as I had some nerve damage from the abcess. Dr. Nickles came in, explained everything while he showed me the xrays and CT scan. I had cists in my gums, one of which was pressing on the nerve. He talked to me about what measures needed to be taken. I was also given a quote before anything was done! Dr. Nickles performed the surgery and did an excellent job. I now have a plan for getting things fixed like they should be. Thank you so much to Dr.Nickles and all the staff! See you soon!!

I was in a bad car accident and had my two front teeth knocked. I had to have a root canal and crowns put on. My smile was horrible looking after the crash I was very self conscious about it. But Dr. Nickles and his amazingly nice staff made my smile way better than it was before my accident. I would highly highly recommend the dentist and his staff. A very personal thank you!!

Worst dentist i’ve ever been to, when i went in for my wisdom teeth surgery i didn’t get an IV to go to sleep instead was given 2 pills to take before i even got there, i was awake when i arrived and was put in a room. after i was in the room Dr. Nickles came in and yelled at me to go to sleep, he then left the room to get his tools, and came back while i was still awake and tried to pull my wisdom teeth while i was awake and un-numb i then screamed and they wouldn’t let my mother back, which he then proceeded to stab me in my gums with something unknown, then i blacked out & after my surgery my brother and mom had to carry me unconscious into my house. after the first week my whole right side of my face was numb for a month. and two weeks after i had to pull a piece of wisdom tooth out of my top right gums. DO NOT GO TO HIM. don’t recommend.
