My wife had severe tooth pain with a broken crown. Scheduled an appointment, and was seen in a very timely manner. Dr. Nale was very professional and personable. removed the tooth in a short time with no pain afterward. The staff is very nice and had enjoyable conversation with the receptionist. The bill was a pleasant surprise (with Cigna). No complaints whatsoever! Would highly recommend! The website says they are temporarily closed, but they are newly reopened (We went there September 10, 2021)

I showed up expecting a routine cleaning turned Root Canal. Dr. Hussain made this trip to the dentist feel like a vacation with her service and relaxed confidence. She is extremely professional & competent, and most of all efficient. Would highly recommend this location to anyone looking!

Teeth cleaning experience: good. Billing procedures: TERRIBLE. I had my teeth cleaned at this office in November 2018, and while the procedure was top-notch with no issues and no complaints, I got a bill more than a year AFTER the appointment. A call to the DentalWorks office to inquire why I received a bill more than a year after the appointment yielded an answer of I cant explain that. Sorry DentalWorks, but there are too many other dentists in the area.

Dental Works is a great place. They take extra care to be sure that your dental needs are met and that you are doing great. Dr. Chau is fantastic and wants you to be happy with everything you have done there. And all the people are so nice and helpful.

Came to this office since in network on my dental plan. The staff here truly care about you both as a client and as relationship to develop. Dr. Worner is very knowledgeable and easy going. My fillings were seamlessly done and the quickest I have had. Cleaning was very thorough and sent me home with a few products to cater to the complete recovery of my teeth and gums. Finally back to routine dentist visits!

HORRIBLE SMAMMERS!!! they are super nice at first when they get you in the chair until they go over a bunch of medical terms about cleanings. Never told me anything about periodontal disease & just said I needed a deep cleaning. They failed to mention that you gave to get special cleanings after deep cleans which most insurances don’t cover! I explained I didn’t want to & pretty much told me to go elsewhere since they couldn’t get more money from me. I chose to switch dentist & had to get my x rays & when I called the front desk lady had an attitude & they never sent them WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!

Customer service is very low, Chelsea is not pro business. They will miss diagnosis you with Periodontal, over charge you hundreds of dollars for non covered, like $78 for listerine! Falsify information to the insurance company. I have never had perio but paid these scammer over $1000 for treatment. Dont trust them, get a second opinion.

I hate the dentist! They put me at ease, and handled business. We be returning. Update second visit. Great experience. Was very nervous, they made it comfortable. Years of neglect on my teeth has left me scared to go. They have a plan that works and will soon be smiling again.

I was not a patient but they got me in right away. They advised me of ways to manage my toothache and set me up to get my tooth extracted the next day. The tooth extraction went well. I didnt feel any pain other than the shot for numbing and the dentist talked me through the procedure. Everything went great! I look forward to being a patient.

Dental works in Greenville went above and beyond for me!! I was in serious pain and they were booked full for the day, but they made it happen for me to get in. They were super friendly and comforting. Dr. Worner made me feel comfortable and did everything in his power to help me feel better. So thankful for the team there and will be going back from here on out.

This place scams people. They advertise laser teeth whitening, and when I arrived at 7:45 a.m. I had to go through a long process to get my teeth whitened. Started with X-rays, then teeth cleaning, by the same women who answered the phone she was very nice but I was told it would be $150 over the Phone for a 1hr treatment. I then was told it would cost $300.00 for my upper and lower front teeth. This place is a scam and I wasted 4hrs here. They said they don’t do laser whitening anymore but just gel on your teeth. I asked the manager Chelsea to honor what I was told and she wouldn’t. I also heard a older women upset at the front desk because they ran her card twice, they told her it would take 6 to 8 weeks for a refund. She said she didn’t have any money and they don’t care. Please don’t go here.

I was extremely happy with the quality of service I received at DentalWorks! As a new patient, I was pleased to find that everyone I had interactions with was very polite and friendly. They were more than helpful getting me an appointment that worked for my schedule. I had a few cavities that needed attention, and Dr. Capra had me in and out quicker than I could have hoped! I would recommend this DentalWorks location to anyone with Dental needs!

Waited a ridiculous amount of time (2.5 hours), did not have my teeth cleaned, paid over $100 for an examination, and was quoted over $1000 for something I did not need (thats with insurance). The personnel were nice, but it was pretty obvious they were promoting services and products to make more money -- rather than just providing the necessary services. Completely feel as though I have wasted my money.

My experience sucked, but 900% only because of my own lack of regard for my dental hygiene the last 12 years. The staff was excellent and let me joke around and have fun even while they were informing me of my 3 cavities one of which requires a root canal. Yay me! Highly recommend the dentist even though I cant remember his name but I do know hes from Iowa. Christie the hygienist was absolutely amazing and made my crap day a little brighter. Cant wait to see them again to spend my lifes saving on fillings and a root canal. Dont forget to floss everyone!

Dr. Chau and his assistant Jessica was very patient and helpful walking me through an extraction. I had broke a took when my head was jolted against the inside of my car door frame in a car accident. The 1st appointment I went in for I needed the tooth smoothed down so it wasnt cutting my tongue. Dr. Chau went over a treatment plan with me and advised me that I needed the tooth extracted. Because the nerve of the tooth wasnt affected i told him I would make another appointment to come back. I went back on the 4th of this month, yesterday and had the tooth extracted. Dr. Chau explained everything from beginning to end. There is just no gentle way to have a tooth extracted. Jessica went and got me a large rolled up blanket to place behind my neck for the procedure because my neck was injured in the car wreck and I was not comfortable without it. Everything went smoothly. Ive previously had a tooth extracted over 10 years ago. I was somewhat familiar with the procedure but they both made sure I was aware of what was going on at every step of the way. Very professional, great mannerisms. Megan at the front desk is also great. I had to call and reschedule once and she was kind and understanding. Thank you DentalWorks. Thank you Dr. Chau and Jessica.

I had my wisdom teeth taken out here and everyone was amazing!! I was greeted by name at the front desk, Jenna who got me ready was attentive and talked to me the entire time which helped considerably since I was pretty nervous. I am now in the process of having some much needed dental work done and it has required and will require several different appointments to complete the total process. I hate the dentist not the doctor but going to the dentist all together. I was terrified when I arrived at my appt at DentalWorks (off Market Point on Woodruff Rd.). They were amazing. They took time to talk to me about how Im feeling they were so compassionate and talked me through everything and also discuss options to make me feel comfortable and put me in control on decisions. The doctor she was so patient and understanding They were absolutely amazing. My dentist from now on.

I had the same experience a previous reviewer had. My Medicare plan allows me one cleaning, one set of bite-wing x-rays, and one examination per year. After the x-rays, an inspection was done of the margins and pockets between tooth and gum, which resulted in an estimate for periodontal treatment. And when I replied I wasnt sure what I wanted to do about it, but would like my cleaning, they refused, unless I agreed to the expensive treatment plan. That smells like a bait and switch tactic and the cleaning I am entitled to was not to be. Neither will Dental Works of Greenville be in my future dental needs. Advice: be careful with this company.

Had an over the weekend accident with my front tooth and needed to find someone to help out as my Primary is closed on Sundays and Mondays. I was greeted with Megan at the front desk who was extremely helpful from start to finish. Upon getting to the facility I met the Dr. Laun Chau who at first was nice but then when I, as a potential new patient had questions about my treatment plan and pricing became frustrated. He had his assistant take X rays, and preview the work that needed to be done and had already quoted me a price of doing the work. He came in the room and stated Im going to tell you this why no-one else is in the room; The only reason Im fixing this tooth is because I dont want you walking around with a chipped tooth! horrible customer service yet alone ethics! he stated IIll do the work but only if I feel like Im appreciated! and if I dont feel appreciated then I wont. Left me in the room for about 15 minutes and came back in and said Im not doing the composite Im just going to recommend you get a crown. and If I want to go to Aspen Dental and get the work then go ahead! Aspen is the next door competitor. Im appaulled at the behavior presented today and surely report this to the BBB TODAY! I have since contacted my own dentist and they will be taking care of me 1st thing tomorrow for $70.00 which includes my $50.00 deductible. Cheaper and more professional. I will tell everyone I come in contact with not to do business with this unethical, egotistical doctor. The benefit of this will ultimatley be the downfall as I know EVERYONE!

Dr. Luan Chau made me feel so confident and so comfortable in our initial consultation recently, that I made the appointment to have 2 teeth extracted. I remember a few years ago in Ft Lauderdale Fla. where i am originally from where I had an extraction from a Dentist who hurt me so bad that I thought I would never again trust anyone for my dental needs. We moved to South Carolina and found Dentalworks of Greenville. It was there I found my new Dentist Dr. Chau . Dr. Chau extracted 2 of my teeth in one visit with absolutely ZERO pain. He knew exactly how to prevent nerve pain that would have been what I was afraid of. In fact I was so confident and relaxed that the procedure was over in a flash! Lucinda who is his assistant was great too! I want you all to recommend Dr. Luan Chau at Dentalworks of Greenville SC for all your dental needs. Not only is Dr. Chau a great DDS but he is a wonderful family man and has the beside manor we all are seeking when looking for a Dentist to put our trust in. I walked into Dental Works feeling overwhelmed, extremely nervous and anxious. I have a huge fear of going to the Dentist and was almost in tears as they called my name to be seen. Almost immediately, Christy put my mind to ease. She was NOT judge mental and she talked me through everything she did. I required a deep cleaning, and I NEVER felt uncomfortable or any pain. I actually felt silly afterwards that I was so nervous; however they NEVER made me feel that way. Dr Anderson was just as gentle and gave me a treatment plan that was very fair. She did not suggest treatment that was not 100% necessary and the entire staff is friendly and helpful.Overall, I had a GREAT experience and am actually looking forward to coming back. I highly suggest DentalWorks to anyone who is fearful of going to the dentist.

BOTCHED UP DENTAL WORK!!! I patiently worked with DentalWorks to make things right. After several months of work, the dental work came back ill fitted. The dentures did not fit. I was told in February that they would refund me the money. I had taken out a $2700 loan to pay for this dental work. Dr. Chau and the Office Manager told me that they would process a refund. I waited. At first it was a delay; I called about it. No refund. Then they said the office was closed due to Covid-19; and could not process the refund till they open back up again. Now the Spartanburg office is open, but Greenville is not open. I have called daily and spoke with Anne the Spartanburg Mgr. I have left messages. I have called and left messages for Breck the Regional manager. No response. I have written a note to CareCredit about the issue. DentalWorks has no headquarters to contact. I am told they work from home. . I WANT MY BILL ADJUSTED AND REFUNDED FOR THE BOTCHED UP WORK. I WILL NOT REST TILL I GET MY MONEY.

My experience was awesome they were very patient from the phone call to dealing with insurance...the lady that was assisting the dentist was who got me from the waiting area was awesome very kind and patient and then the dentist herself was very kind and understanding. Young woman at front desk was very rude when we first arrived because they were short of help and she had to fill in and it wasnt her job. We were warned that Dental Works does a lot of up-selling - Yes they do! We we first arrived, we had to fill out 5 pages of forms. These were the same forms we filled out the first time we were there. They should have give us the original forms and ask if any changes. They Dentist and they hygentist were friendly, but I have to look into the up-selling they did before proceeding.

Oral surgeon was great. Only issue with office was the office staff seemed unorganized and lost our paperwork that was previously filled out and had to redo when got there for surgery. But overall a positive experience.

Dr. Worner is a little odd, but the place felt like a family dentistry. Had no issues with an emergency wisdom extraction. I plan on heading to see him regularly despite being terrified of the dentist office.

I will never go back here again and I wouldnt recommend them to anyone else. I had a portion of my dental work that my insurance decided not to cover but was never notified of this until a year later after they had already turned the account over to collections. When I asked why I was never called, the only excuse I was given was that they have thousands of accounts and didnt have the time to contact me. I wanted to speak to the manager about this and was forwarded to a voicemail and never called back. Poor communication, poor customer service and poor excuses... I will not be returning.

Dr. Nale wasnt very personable and made me feel uncomfortable. I had alerted him half way through wisdom tooth surgery because the Dremel was grinding my inscissors and he replied now what. Dr. Nale must not be used to operating on people who are concious, I wasnt under anethesia. The dentistry trys to fit in as many people for wisdom tooth extraction when doctor nale is in...they rush through the procedure and are not careful with the patients, I actually got the side of my cheek cut deeply but didnt initially notice. I wouldnt recommend this dentristy, I just didnt get the sense that they cared enough.

I came to Dental Works after having an experience with another company. I had a feeling that I did wrong but I gave them a try. They first said I had periodontal gum disease and they started with the treatment and antiobotic . They told me the price and what I would have to pay. I had it started and was scheduled to come back to check and see if it was improving. Still had some soreness and have to come back in four weeks. They called to remind me of my appointment and they had always told me my amount to pay which went with the total they had given me the first time I went. This time they did not tell me I would owe something. I went in this morning for check up and they said everything looked good but they did a gum irrigation which I did not know that was what she was doing and then the other lady polished my teeth and flossed them. I would need to come back in 4 months to make sure everything was healing well . This was periodontal maintenance. it would take a year before I could go to regular 6 month cleanings. I went to front desk and they told me I owe AMT dollars for today but when they called they did not tell me I owed anything for today. I was upset and did not know they were going to do all that today. I told them to cancel my 4 months appointment and I would have to go else where. I had been going to a dentist all my life every six months and had never been told my gum were that bad. That does not seen right . When I retired I had to get my own insurance and the dentist I went to was not on the list. I looked and Dental Works was on the list. That was wrong mistake I made. They just want your money and it always IS NEVER COVERED UNDER MY INSURANCE. I wished I had never started with them. I would not recommend them to anyone. They just are out for money............ I LEARNED FROM MY MISTAKE

I was told in the beginning of my wisdom teeth extraction process that the charge was going to be X amount of dollars and I had to get a loan for that amount. When I came in for my appointment, the amount was almost $100.00 dollars more because someone quoted me the wrong price. The extraction itself, was perfectly fine. I healed in time that the dr. said I would. I do have many other problems with my teeth such as cavities and what not... I was supposed to get a price quote after my last check up on all of that work that needs to be done and I never received a phone call, voice mail or email about it. I am not happy with half of my experience at DentalWorks.

The front desk staff member, Mary Jo is extremely rude. After handing her my insurance card she turns to the other staff and says “I hate this insurance, it’s so confusing. It’s probably not even dental, it’s probably medical After a few minutes of trying to get it verified she starts asking me about my mom’s insurance. I told her I have insurance with my job and my mother has nothing to do with it. She hangs up the phone and tells the other staff to complete my verification because it’s just too confusing and she will work on another patient. She continues to loudly state how I probably dont even have dental and she cannot deal with my insurance as Im sitting within earshot of the desk. The other staff was miraculously able to verify my insurance; meanwhile Mary Jo is now struggling with the next patients insurance. The patient ask how much longer it will be and Mary Jo very rudely says to her Well, your insurance is very difficult When I left my mother’s name was listed as the guarantor on my statement despite the fact that I told her my mother has nothing to do with my insurance. The level of unprofessionalism was very shocking and I will not be back.

I had to get a root canal done yesterday and I scheduled through the front desk with Mary and Megan. I was first impressed with how much information Mary/Megan were able to provide me with in regards to my insurance and what my overall cost would be for the procedure. Mary/Megan both went above and beyond to ensure that I understood my cost, insurance coverage, and what Id be expected to pay at the time of treatment. When I was taken back for my root canal, Dr. Worner introduced himself and explained the process of a root canal and answered all of my questions. He was professional and friendly. He made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Or at least as comfortable and relaxed as you can be before a root canal! During the root canal Dr. Worner checked on me several times to ensure that I wasnt in pain. Before I knew it, we were done. I had several questions that Dr. Worner gladly answered. I always feel like I leave the dentist with more questions, but not at Dental Works. I highly suggest that people give this office a try. Theyre young, energetic, and friendly. The dentist is no longer a place that I dread going to thanks to this office. Thank you Megan/Mary/Dr. Worner. Youve just gained a lifelong customer.

On March 9, 2017 I was a new patient for Oral Surgeon John C. Nale, DMD, MD, FACS and it was a wonderful experience. You are greeted with smiles and treated with kindness the whole time. Doctor Nale is just awesome very patient, explain every thing in laymen terms so I would understand the procedure to done completely. I have never had such a awesome experience at a dental office ever. I will share my wonderful experience with everyone I know. I will have surgery on April 6th and I am not the least bit afraid because of the friendliness and care from Doctor Nale and the complete staff.

This is the worst place ever when it comes to billing. For a year now my billing has never been right. I was told months and months ago that my billing was right and at a zero balance only to find out today that billing never was right and I now havet two bills in collections. I asked why was I never sent a bill and the office lady, JoJo, replied that they have the wrong address and she asked for my correct address. I told her I wanted to know what address they had for me because I wouldnt provide them with an incorrect address and I have lived in my home 3 years prior to my first visit. She then provided me with some off the wall address. My reply was youve had my address wrong for a year and this is now coming to my attention and yet you sent me to collections for bills that I was told I am at a zero balance on. Thus office has had an extremely high turnover rate and I am sure that the errors keep happening due to clerical errors. How can someone go from having a bill and then after the office talks with my insurance company and the Dental Works corporate office and get straight what I actually owe and I pay and I then have a zero balance to more bills come up from that visit??? Seems very shady to me. Then in April of this year I go in due to having a sensitive tooth ache. The doctor does not fill a cavity but does put some sensitive stuff on the top of the tooth. There was no drilling or anything like that and Im told today that I have a bill from then and they code it as a cavity filling because thats the way they code thins like that. If you didnt fill a cavity why code it like that and charge me over $100.00 for that? Again, just another thing that proves how shady this company is. I asked the lady, JoJo, who called me to give me the corporate number and she refused stating she would call me back with the number and hung up on me. This is by far the worst customer service Ive ever received from any company. She was upset at me because I said damn while talking to her. Sorry if me saying that offended you but Im offended at the fact that my billing is never correct and then it gets corrected with a careful exam of my account and I pay what I really owe to get the zero balance and then more bills from that time frame pop up and Im now in collections, not to mention I have good credit but now I will not And to top this off the turned me over to collects on a $35.00 some odd bill and a $1.50 bill. Yes, I repeat turned me over to collects on a $1.50 bill.  Who does that? Then I  have a bill from a cavity being filled when I never had a cavity on that tooth filled. He put a desensitization on my tooth. Again, no drilling or nothing like that. Im sorry to rant but this is unreal. Oh, and lets not leave out that today they even tell me that I owe for my husbands bill that he accrued from several months ago where he asked for fluoride at his last cleaning.  He never asked for that because its a charge of $45.00 that insure doesnt cover. But yet they billed it to him. Yes, a service that he never asked for nor received. They called me to let me know they had taken care of  his bill and removed that from his account. Never once did he receive a bill in the mail either. So I guess their excuse is we both came to our first appointments on separate days and filled out our new patient paperwork wrong by providing the wrong mailing address?! Give me a break. My point is they bill wrong and charge you extra money and never send you a bill, which by law they are supposed to before turning you over to collections. Then when you want to talk to the corporate office there is not a number to do so. They will quote less than most on big dental needs such as crowns. But stick you in the end with false billing to make up for their cheap quotes, thats what it seems to me. Very SHADY! This company should be ashamed!!! I really need to talk to someone at corporate. Cant find a good # to talk to an actual person. Keeps putting me through to my local office, based on my phone # I assume.

This is by far the worst office for dental procedures. Steer clear. They continue to change the estimate based on weather and refuse to notify of changes . Worst experience. I seen several people walk out . Find another dentist office dont go here
