I came for a COVID test and was amazed at the attentiveness to my overall health. They were very caring and truly concerned. I was impressed to be treated so well! Way to go Drs Care!!!

This is thee worst please to go for help I took my daughter to get a physical they wouldn’t clean her because of her eye test! They also took $39 away from a child that didn’t even get a full physical I call several times to speak to a manager spoke with a director from Columbia still didn’t get me any satisfaction! I would Die before I go back here! 😡😡😡😡 poor customer service! 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾

There are 5 cars in the parking lot and one person in the waiting room. How can it be a 2 hour wait for a rapid Covid test? Now I will say once you get in there the staff is great.

Great visit, staff was very friendly and caring. I waited in one of the rooms for a while. It could have been to one doctor attending to all patients. I could be wrong but other than that they did a nice job.

Add to pay a fee of $40 for them to not help me at all. The doctor didn’t even check anything. All he said was I need to get blood work and other test and didn’t even send the paperwork for me to get it. Then when I tried to call they wouldn’t pick up the phone. This is one of the worse experiences I have had

STAY AWAY from this office. I dont know what kind of shady operation they are pulling here but Ill never visit another doctors care again!My partner came here because he was having pain in his shoulder for a few weeks and wanted to get it checked out. We are unsure if its just a pulled muscle or something serious. Unfortunately, we never got to find out!They were going to give him an X-ray, but insisted that he call his work and file a workmans compensation claim even though we have no proof if he even hurt it at work or not. We just wanted to find out what was wrong. Especially when he already has health insurance. They refused to run his insurance because they already put in the system that he got hurt at work when we never said that!So they either wanted us to pay $145 out if pocket or call his work and file a fake workmans comp claim with his job. Idk what kind of racket operation these people are running, but needless to say we walked out. AVOID THIS LOCATION if you want any help at all!Im tempted to call the DA and speak to them about this matter and see if we have any recourse.

Went to Doctors Care for a second Covid test to validate a test administered at a different facility. Staff was efficient and caring. The doctor, especially took a lot of time answering my questions. You dont always find that with similar facilities that make you feel like they want to push you out the door. Thank you Doctors Care.

Went in for my ears being infected and all that was wanted was to flush them they weren’t by any means careful about anything just absolutely terrible …. I told them my ears were in pain and it’s like they never cared so I don’t think $135.00 is worth it when u don’t even get an answer for anything

I have seen Dr. Christine and Dr. Pigman. They are both patient listeners. I have Cerebral Palsy, so every Doctor is different unless they are familiar with me. Both Doctors ask great questions concerning my condition, and which medicines I cannot take. It sounds like you would think every doctor would that. No they do not. I like coming here and all the staff is friendly and helpful.

Completely inefficient practice. Three people were here at 9 and they did not see the first patient until 9:40. Finally saw the second patient at 9:55.

My wife and I needed checkups and high blood pressure prescription and monogamy referral.

Because I haven’t met my deductible the doctor visit alone is $100 then add all the different texts they’d want to run. No they don’t bill you. You have to pay now. I was like seriously because I chose a higher deductible for not truly being a sickly person. I was like I’ll just go to the emergency room they’ll work with me. And my insurance will cover deductible met or not. Yeah only go there as last resource. That means if the hospital is shut down and all the other doctors offices in Georgetown county are completely full then maybe doctors care.

Nice professional staff and timely

I was pleased that Doctors Care was a clean facility with a professional staff that diagnosed my strep throat a few days ago. The wait wasn’t too long especially for a walk-in clinic and even though I felt miserable, I had a very pleasant experience. They even gave a courtesy call 2 days later to see if I was feeling better or if I had any questions. Not being from this area , (just passing through on a sailboat) it was super nice to get it taken care of so quickly. Thank you!

I have used Doctors Care in Georgetown for urgent care at least four times over the past five years and have received excellent care each time, from a very sharp nurse practitioner and an excellent physician. This last visit was the first time I have had to wait over 20 minutes but the lobby was full when I arrived. I am always pleased with the friendliness and efficiency of the staff, from front desk, nurse, tech, and NP or physician. I have never had anything but good experiences with my care in this facility. I have also called on other Doctors Care facilities in the Grand Strand area when I was working in a professional capacity, and I found all of the facilities providing excellent care and having staff who truly care about their patients.

Doctors Care had no actual doctors on staff (2 PAs were on staff). I waited over THREE HOURS to be seen. Guess how many people were seen before me during that 3 hours? FIVE! Yes, five people in over 3 hours. The whole time you could hear the staff talking and laughing in the back. I thought maybe patients were just receiving extremely attentive care... ummm, no. Keep in mind, my throat is scratchy, my sinuses clogged up, Im literally sneezing and coughing and the PA tells me that I have an ear infection. She gives me prescriptions for ear drops and cough medicine, no antibiotics, even though I asked for some. This took another hour. So four hours later, I leave with these prescriptions. The pharmacist then tells me the ear drops do not have a generic counterpart and are $239 with insurance and that my insurance doesnt cover Bromfed but that it is essentially Dimetapp and to buy that. The next day, today, I woke up feeling even worse, more throat pain, more sneezes and with literally no medicine to show for four hours of time and my copay. Do not waste your time with this typical example of our ridiculous medical system! So annoyed.

Recently, I visited DC in GT, South Carolina. The facilities and customer service was stellar, but what I appreciate most was their kindness. The front desk receptionist, medical assistant and doctor (Dr. Gabby) were all very courteous and pleasant to me. I totally appreciate the treatment I received - and how I was treated.

Drs Care is a great facility that has very flexable hrs. They have a friendly staff that call and check on you a couple days after your visit. They have top notch drs and nurses that are always willing to work with you to make sure you get the proper treatment and prescribe medicines that work best for you and your insurance coverage.

Ability to just walk in and see someone with little or no waiting.That alone makes Doctors Care the best place for me to go.

The nurse who checked my vitals was very nice and patient with me. However, the physician (not an MD) that I saw was not. She was very rushed and seemed in a hurry. She only got surface level with me and left me with lots of questions. I would give her a terrible rating for bedside manner. She left the room to go put in my prescriptions and I thought she was coming back as I had more questions to ask. However, she sent a technician back to give me my papers and sent me off from there. I left with lots of questions and then had to find my answers in the pamphlets that came with my prescriptions. Also, since I had the flu and was feeling so terrible I signed in online. After waiting for an hour and a half at home, I got the text to finally come to the office. When I got there and signed in I then had to wait another 30 minutes before I was taken back to get my vitals. And they were by no means crowded. 3 other parties in the waiting room besides me. Overall, I would rate my experience as a 2. Everybody seemed nice but I was just displeased with the patience and care of my physician.

I had an excellent experience at this, and all other Doctors Care locations. Once I had to wait over an hour to see a doc...So what? At least Doctors Care was open at 7pm (my prior family doc was not) and the wait at the local ER was over 6 hours and worse care would have cost me $895

Everyone was courteous and competent. Doctor listened to what I had to say about treatment for same illness in the past.

Not impressed. Antibiotics they prescribed did not cure uti. Called and someone was supposed to call me back. 45 minutes later called again and was told the nurse was seeing patients and after she would check her messages. It’s 9 PM no phone call and I’m urinating blood which was told to these people. I see how high I rank on their list. I don’t. A simple prescription called into pharmacy on the eve of thanksgiving would have been nice. Now I have to suffer until tomorrow when I will have to find a clinic that is opened so I can be seen only to go through this process all over again. Very poor business practices. I am in health care and would NEVER not return a patients phone call.

Thank Yall for taking good care of me. I had a bad Allergic Reaction to something at work and was in really bad shape,thx to the Doctors Care they got me back on track and feeling alot better in 24 hrs and back 100% in 5 days thank yall so much.

Dont go there for a DOT physical .He will give you a 3 months certificate.for any little thing.faul you if u refuse to accept his 3 months certificate.whats the use of getting your doctor to send information and he decides to make his own judgement.WOW !! Treatment of an infection.

If I get to the office first before they open common sense should say I need to be seen Checked in first.....filled out the paper work and here come 3 other people 2 of them together 1 alone and who do they take before my husband another dude who walked in after them and the 2 that came in together. Are you serious???? Yes I’m really serious Here is the excuse they did the paper work before we did. How does that make sense. When you wait online for groceries can someone cut in front of you, not unless you allow it.....right!!!!! There have been other instances where this has happened and I never said anything. The fact that I have 2 jobs and have responsibilities that begin at 4am becomes an issue when I have other things to do. Let me put it in dr office terms so you might comprehend better. If I arrive at an appointment 10 minutes late they say one of two things your late and you need to reschedule or your late and now our schedule is thrown off which is bull.....why because when you schedule an appointment you are put into a slot for 30-60 minutes for your appointment. Which means technically if you are seen for 10-30 minutes your appointment time was cut short and now the dr can deal with the next appointment. Now how many times have you had an appointment at 1pm arrived 10-30 minutes ahead of time only to be put in the room for 30-60-90 minute wait. I mean how many more ways can I explain this situation. P.S I went to school for Medical Billing &Coding and graduated with a 3.75 average. So I’m quite familiar with many things that others may not understand. Time is now 8:41am and my husband is just now going back to have his X-ray done......I would like to say everyone was respectful, that does not excuse the excuse that was given. If you want to be recognized for your outstanding care then you must have a better policy in place so that issues like that do not happen. No excuse is exceptable. (Pain over a cold) it doesn’t take a scientist to understand who should get treated first.) Not to mention I really don’t need someone to come near me after they have delt with someone with a cold it’s Flu season. You want to lesson the chances of spreading any type of immune disease. So the conclusion, he is in severe pain from a sprain and he is to go home without any pain medication.......

Treatment is always great but the wait time is not. 3 plus hours of wait time is ridiculous.

In order to save time during the holidays I signed up for the text alerts on the waiting list, but this alerted me to come in and I was left in the waiting room for an hour. I saw Dr. Robert Kimpton, who spent less than five minutes to prescribe me a medication to treat my symptoms and completely overlooked the fact that I had a bacterial infection. I had to go to another provider two days later to get proper treatment. I would not recommend this establishment, or Dr. Robert Kimpton.

Was well satisfy with my service

Went in for migraine meds prescription renewal. Was told (not even by the dr) that the dr couldnt do it because the meds is not specifically for migraines. A SIMPLE and QUICK Google search could have told him that the meds are indeed used for migraines as well. I was also told he could write a script for something similar. What sense does that make? I even had the bottle from my last refill which was just a couple of months ago. I would expect more from a doctor.Also, every single question I was asked once I was called in the back was answered in the patient forms. Very annoying to have to answer them twice. And she wrote the answers on a sticky note.

I was treated very badly by on duty nurse practitioner...and she told me that I had no broken bones...but thank God I got a second opinion... and turns out I did have a broken bone. They lost me as a patient

If you would like to get charged for services that you did not receive, this is the place to go. If you want your bill to go to someone elses address for 10 months and then get a collections call, this is the place to go. If you want professional medical care, this IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO!
