Called for and appt, said I would pay out of pocket. This receptionist said if you have health insurance, that we dont accept, we wont see you. Even if Im self pay. Not providing health insurance info because Im self-pay is not and option, she said they are required to collect this info by running your social security number. Required by who? The government? I immediately made an appt elsewhere and they didnt require any such thing. Heads up people, somethings not right.

First impression was cleanliness and organization. I judge a doctor by the people that work for him/her. The staff at The Eye Care Center in Geneva was absolutely amazing and their bedside manners gages through the roof. Dr. Hwangs spirit illuminated with congeniality as soon as he entered the room. All around a very pleasant experience that I would recommend to all.

0 stars. Every person I dealt with was arrogant and unprofessional. Been getting eye exams for 40 years and I’ve never had my pupils dialated BEFORE the exam. Gave them my insurance information before the appointment and after my exam I was informed that they don’t “ participate “ in my insurance. Paid out of pocket. Terrible business and experience

Dr. Dugo is everything you want in a physician. She takes the time to answer any questions and thoroughly explains any findings while speaking to you as a fellow human. The technicians and receptionists in this office are also wonderful, everyone is so polite and professional. My husband was having vision problems that resulted in a more complicated medical diagnosis and Dr. Dugo took the time to follow up with his primary care physician and make sure he was seen promptly. I even took my 5 year old to see her and she spoke to him as a human being and set all his nerves at ease! I would give this office 10 stars if I could! Also, I love Joy!!!

I was recently in for chronic eye discomfort. Dr. Dugo was so reassuring and helpful. Love this place. Love the techs. Love the compassionate atmosphere.

During my visit today, Dr. Dugo and Joy were both pleasant and efficient. They made me feel comfortable. They explained things as we went along during the exam. Although I was not ready to choose new frames, I will go back soon to check out the selection. The facilities are super clean. There was no wait time. The women at the desk were upbeat and friendly. Except for those miserable drops in my eyes.....to be expected......it was a very good experience.

I have recently moved my family from a private eye doctor to The Eye Care Center. I have to be honest and say that it has taken us awhile to adjust; we are used to a very small office with only one doctor and very personal service. However recently, my daughter, who is attending college away from the area, had a problem with her contacts. The Eye Care Center went above and beyond to remedy the problem and we are very grateful. Great customer service!Dr. Dugo and her assistant Joy were both wonderful. My exam was thorough and I felt like I was in good hands.

The eye care center in Geneva is the best. I tell everyone to go there. Everyone is very friendly. Wait time is minimal. Dr. Dugo is caring and efficient. I am very happy with everything about the eye care center.

I recently had an eye exam. I wear contacts and wanted to adjust the power because i cannot read as clearly as I would like. I met with a woman in the optical area of the office. I went in 2 times and told her the adjustment wasn’t improving my vision. She gave me the 2nd pair to try and when I went in today, a gentleman was there. I told him the situation. He did not greet me with a “hello” or a smile. He sat down in front of me. He stared at the laptop for at least 15 minutes, never saying a word. It was pretty awkward. He then proceeds to tell me that he has to charge me $20 for his services. I asked “why”? He said because they had already tried the correct strength according to my prescription. I couldn’t believe the poor customer service. I work in a doctors office and would never treat a patient so cold. I told him never mind, I’ll go somewhere else. Not satiate all. I wondered why there is never anyone in the optical area.

That staff at the Eye Care Center was amazing. I was impressed how they catered to my children. They made the visit painless.

I am always met with a personal and friendly greeting upon entering the office. Everyone is professional, polite and the doctors are prompt in seeing me. I especially enjoy Ginny Schinsing. She is delightful and provides exceptional customer service!

I recently had to be seen emergently and called the eye care center for an appointment in the Geneva office. I was pleasantly surprised with how pleasant and kind the person was on the phone. I was given an appointment time for that same afternoon. I was very impressed with checking in, I believe her name was Susie. She was very pleasant and professional. I was then taken back to a room with Joy. I dont have enough words to describe how awesome she was! Then I saw Dr. Dugo. She was extremely pleasant and gave me a very thorough eye exam. She explained everything in great detail. I felt I was very well taken care of when I left!

The atmosphere when you walk in the front door is welcoming and relaxing. Everyone is friendly and Dr Piper is wonderful. I would recommend the Geneva Eye Care Center to anyone!

I recently had both cataracts removed and replaced with lenses for better distance vision. Both of my surgeries went smoothly and efficiently. I was well-informed of what to expect prior and given every confidence of excellent postoperative care. Dr. Hwang, Dr. Dugo, the staff at the office, and the nurses and doctors at the Finger Lakes Surgery Center, were all friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. I never had any discomfort. Best of all, my better vision is truly a gift. Thank you.

Always have to wait!.. Why? I have an appointment. I arrive early. I wait that extra time plus another 10-20 minutes each time. Had to make a second appointment as there wasnt enough time allotted the first day to do everything. Im the only customer in the lobby and parking lot. This is not professional.
