There is something to be said about local and family owned. The level of attention, and care is exceptional. My eyes were fully examined and this was not rushed as I have experienced from chain vision centers. I now have the correct prescription for my eyes. The best!

My littles (5 and 9) absolutely LOVE Dr. Alexander and after I saw the love and care she has for her patients, I insisted we ALL go here from now on! I love family businesses that make you feel like family as well. By far the best place I’ve been to for eye care!

Dr. Christ and the staff at Family Eye Care are the best! My prescription is complicated and Dr. Christ and Jan have worked hard to find contact lenses that still meet my needs as I age. I feel extremely confident in their care!

Everyone is very helpful and knowledgeable. I have always disliked going to the eye doctors since my vision was so poor and usually getting worse. Family Eye Care have made the experience pleaseant for me. The full set of eye tests I get regularly there help me worry less about my eyes as they are on top of the situation.

My rating is based off of the negative customer service experience I received. I brought my glasses to Family Eye Care and requested new lenses only. There was nothing wrong with the frame, and in fact, they were my favorite fit. I was advised by staff that they were not responsible for any damage caused to the frame if I chose to have them replace the lenses because I didnt purchase the frames there. Completely understandable- the associate took some measurements and stated that the frame was in good condition and should withstand manipulation. A few weeks later my glasses were ready and as I stepped out of the building into the daylight I noticed a reflection in the corner of my eye. There was a small piece of the frame missing on the bottom of the left lens. I brought it in and asked staff why no one told me about the damage. No one took accountability. Staff denied the damage and said they wouldve noticed something like that. Apparently, within seconds of placing my glasses onto my face and walking out of the building a piece of the frame spontaneously cracked. However, the lenses were to my liking. I knew their was potential for unintentional damage which I take full responsibility for, but please do not lie to your customers and offer no apology or offer to make it right. I came to you because my current eye doctor said they were unable to replace the lenses as I did not purchase the frames there. They were purchased at Lenscrafters some time ago so I had no warranty left and I was also told by Lenscrafters that these frames are no longer being made. Do better Family Eye Care. Take accountability and have some respect. I work in healthcare and I would never treat clients like this.
