Dr. Koning and his team are amazing. They always strive to do whats best for you to keep you strong and healthy. Ive never been treated as well as I am here. They help me control my pain and keep me going and living my life.

I have been seeing Dr. Koning for 3 years and he has been the only doctor that has tried to help me with my chronic pain. He is extremely caring and understanding. The office is a complete family. Even though you might have to wait to see him it is worth the wait! The office very welcoming and treat you like you are part of their family!

Dr. Koning is a great doctor. He takes his time, to find out how you are really feeling, not rushing in and out. Wow I think he Truly care. Lol, no but for real, I drive a 140 miles round trip. If he wasn’t a great doctor who would do that.

I really liked Dr Koning, he tries to understand the pain I’ve been going through and to help me get relief. I would have given him 5-stars, but I felt I needed to only give 4, due to the front office staff. They need help. I called to check status of approval’s and one answered the phone eating. The other never returned my call. Dr. Koning as a Doctor is great, totally would see him again. But, the front office… well not so much. Lack of professionalism. It’s unfortunate because that’s your first line of image. Definitely see Dr Koning.

I was in so much knee pain tor meniscus and Im bone on bone arthritis. I had gained weight due to I could not walk, on right knee. I went to a orthopedic and he would not help me, said i was to over weight and said needed to loose weight. I found ReGen Pain Management Team and went there was giving up hope.I had no life. Dr. Koning told me he would help me get the pain under control in order for me to loose weight. I told him I would work hard I loved it because he listen to me and let me cry on his shoulder. I went from a 26size to a 18size pain is under control I did my part and Dr did his part working together. I can walk its great. I am getting better and happier pain free. I have never been to a pain management office like this. There is no communication between the patient and the office as to what is going to take place. I was referred to Dr Koning by my back doctor. I’ve had back pain since 2014 and was treated by a pain specialist in Chicagoland with two shots and Lombard Medial Branch Radio-frequency. This is what I went to see Dr. Koning for. . Last week I had an appointment for what, I was never told. I arrived and saw three people: the check in nurse, a man whom I never got his title and a PA. Did not see Dr. Koning at all. All three began by asking about an injection in my shoulder. I explained that Dr Koning was treating me for my back. The PA asked how my back pain was doing. I explained that sometimes it still hurts and I take an anti inflammatory which relieves the pain somewhat. She said to continue doing that and to call if it gets worse. What a waste of my time!

Can never get ahold of any one. The Receptionist he has there is rude and never answer the phone and is not helpful at all.

Dr. Koning was very promt and professional in my diagnosis. He responded well to my pain issues and I look forward to continuing treatment with him!

I am a new patient and have been extremely impressed with the customer service and the genuine concern that Dr. Koning and his nurses and office staff have shown to me. I needed someone to check on a med refill. I called and left a message at the office and was called back within 5 minutes. Then I needed help with getting the pharmacy to understand what I needed and the nurse made that call too. What a phenomenal doctor and staff. I fell at my job 10 years ago and have gone thru pain doctors because of Workman Compensation. NIGHTMARE! No doctor wanted to help me because of Workman Compensation. I have suffered beyond the imaginable. ReGen Pain management , cares and listens. Dont contact any one else. Feel like they really appreciate me for seeing Dr. Koning. I always get office reminders the day before to confirm and they have an amazing system for prescriptions where you get an email when the requested rx was sent to the pharmacy.Dr. Koning and Alex are both remarkable. They are kind and caring. They work very hard to assure you are in an acceptable level of pain. I have seen MULTIPLE pain management providers throughout the metroplex for the past 6 years. These two are totally different from anyone else I have seen in the past. With Dr. Koning, I never feel like Im just a number or that his office feels like youre in a cattle call with so many other people coming and going.He is the first one who has got my pain in control since my original shoulder surgery 9 years ago. DR KONING did a good job in treating my neck, shoulder pain and the pinched nerve in my back with injections and Thearpy.Very happy that he make me feel comfortable and not rushed and his assistants appeared very knowledgable. I highly recommend him.

A real pain practice that produces results! After a pain filled year with a local pain mill that ran patients through quickly to produce income, I had no relief and only saw the physician once, I was referred to Dr. Koning by a friend. From day one I began to experience relief and though Im not pain free, I am improved to the point that I have a functional life. He and his staff are always kind and patiently explain medications and procedures so I know what to expect. They have worked with me to find medications that I can afford and give me maximum relief without making me a zombie. I happily travel about 35 miles for appointments because theyre SO GOOD!

If I were to give a rating on just Dr. Koning I would give him the full five stars. I’ve had doctors all over the nation and even the prestigious Mayo Clinic gave up on me. Dr. K is kind, patient, and charming. My first visit I waited quite a while, but I saw why when he made it to my room. He stayed way later than he needed to hear me out and make a plan for me to feel somewhat normal with the pain I’m in. He was knowledgeable in regards to my genetic mutations and my connective tissue disorder. The only reasons I am taking a star away is because I have never had someone answer their phone no matter which extension I select. I can only reach staff via email. This makes it frustrating when needing help or requesting medication refills. I also have had a couple of issues with a staff member but it wasn’t enough to make me switch. I hope the phone issues are resolved and I intend to stay with him as long as he is there and continually tries to help me. I do recommend him and thus far he’s been my favorite pain doctor.

The wait time once you’re placed is super longer.

Such a great experience with Dr K and the PA. I see them for the BOTOX migraine protocol and masseter muscle tension . They process everything through insurance properly, and let me have input on exactly where the injections are most effective for my headaches and facial pain. Let’s just say the neurologist I saw prior , was a nightmare and I left their office in tears after paying thousands of dollars for Botox and office fees and got no relief ! Dr K and the rest of the staff have taken amazing care of me over my last several visits and I leave smiling. No more tears here!

Ive been seeing Dr. Koning and staff in Frisco for several months. Ive received care and had 2 procedures performed. The staff is so honest and friendly. I call it the office of the pretty people as all of the staff are quite pretty and nice. Sad that I need their services, but grateful for the care that is provided.

Dr. Koning was a great help. He listens, repeats back what he heard, then suggests a plan, and never brings a laptop in to the patient room. He truly cares about his patients and wants to help reduce their pain. The office managment on the other hand would recieve a low score. But, because Dr. Koning is one of my best doctors and truly cares about getting me to a low pain level I am able to deal with the office managment.

My wife and I are thoroughly impressed. After a mountain biking accident I was told by the first doctor that I was going to be crippled for life & the best he could do was to feed me narcotics on a monthly basis to combat my pain. I tried this for 2 & a half months, lost 25 lbs and was not getting better. After meeting with the team at Dr. Koning’s Frisco location, hope was installed. Dr. Koning laid out a plan of attack that we have followed to a tee. I’m 4 weeks in on his treatment plan and I’m happy to say my pain level has been taken from debilitating to almost nonexistent. As a patient of his for over 2 yrs., he has tried and done more for me than the 10+ MDs before him, that couldnt/ wouldnt diagnose my condition of Adhesive Arachnoiditis.
