I recently had the opportunity to meet Dr. Badiyan and his staff. I’ve had chronic pain in my cervical, thoracic, and lumbar area for 20 + years. I had managed to stay functional during that time due to my regenerative medicine physician. After a fluke event, the 20 old plate in my cervical area was pushed up into my C-4 vertebrae. The injury took me off work and out of life for 6 mths. After being referred to several surgeons and specialists, I was referred to Dr. Badiyan by my surgeon and long term care provider.Dr. Badiyan met with me and we decided that I’d be evaluated for a cervical cord stimulator.I had the trial stimulator placed in his surgical suite area at his Frisco office. Being a Registered Nurse, I am quite critical of any and all persons taking part in my families’ care and of course my care. I found the entire surgical team efficient, professional, skilled, and alert to my every need. They made me feel comfortable and well taken care of. The Abbott Reps were knowledgeable & stayed a phone text or call away during the trial & after it was over. The procedure and week long trial was worry free.Since I received 80-90% pain relief in the trial, it was time to go ahead with the actual SCS placement- no trial- this was it.On the morning of my surgery at Legent Specialty Hospital, I again was met with an incredible, professional, skilled and caring team. The techs, nurses, anesthesiologist, Abbott Reps, and Dr. Badiyan were absolutely amazing. It was actually my nurse’s first day at Legent and she was from an agency. She was incredible before surgery and afterwards. Another worry free event.I truly appreciate and respect Dr. Badiyan and his “team” for the first rate care that was provided. I am forever grateful. I have 100% trust in the team and know they will continue to provide optimal care, no matter the situation or patient. I came to this place after having a not so great experience at another pain management doctor in the area. Dr. Badiyan listened to me, and actually looked at my incision scars and areas where I was having pain from a spinal fusion. I felt like my experience was valid here, and I didn’t get dismissed from the pain I was still having almost a year after surgery.The ladies in reception were very nice, they remembered me by name when I called without having to go into details again and again about who I was and what I was experiencing. I had an accident 11 months ago, and it’s been something I have to explain over and over again- the doctor here had already read my charts and my notes sent from my other doctors, nothing my previous pain management doctor had done. They listened here. I felt like I mattered and I had a voice, which has been so important in navigating everything after the accident. So far I highly recommend.

Great medical care provider. I have a strong sciatica attack and I was referred to Dr. Badiyan for pain management treatment. The entire process, appointment schedule, waiting, doctor visit, and follow up was absolutely superb. The office is very clean, the associates (especially Britney! ) are very friendly and accommodating. Dr. Badiyan takes his time to explain all about the pain and the treatment options. I decided to have an epidural steroid injection to ease the pain. They made sure to schedule the procedure as soon as possible so I can get some pain relief. Dr. Badiyan did the injection under local anesthesia (similar to the anesthesia you get at the dentist to work on your tooth but in this case it was on my lower back) . He made sure to let me know every step of the procedure. For all intents and purposes the procedure took less than 3 minutes with practically no pain from the injection. Walked out of the surgery room in under 10 minutes. Two days after the procedure Ive received a call from Dr. Badiyan office to check on my progress. Very highly recommended pain management provider! Thank you!

Dr Badiyan is caring, empathetic and knows good bedside manner. He recognizes the struggle when dealing with constant pain and helps to make the patient feel somewhat “normal” rather other drs that treat you as drug seeking patients. He looks for specific causes of pain and actually listens. He stays up on technology and options available to all patients. This was my second spinal injection with Dr. Badiyan. He and his staff are the most attentive and courteous professionals! I was never uncomfortable and the procedure has had a great result!

10 plus appointments and 2 years later and alot of money later and no where! this place is the laughing stock of health care. Based on all the other reviews its obvious this place is meant to give you temporary relief with quick options, not a long lasting solution. ive had 3 epidural shots... lasted less than a week each. Dr. Badiyan is a great guy, but a waste of time. you would think after 2 years and sending me all over the place they could do something over a small bulging disc. then they referred me to a specialist.... the first things out of that guys mouth was you need a device put in your back. or you need to go find somewhere else. recommending surgery at 24 y/o. they are a waste of time and money! but i did find another place thats genuinely there to help not just rinse and repeat you through the system til surgery. genesis neck and back is a great place and they actually fix the underlying problem not just patch it up with a unit to bypass the pain.

First visit to see the doctor, front office staff friendly on the ball and took care of things quickly. The doctor is warm and engaging listen to my conversation my issues check me out made a plan and we’re going to get things done. So far good. I was sent from another neurosurgeon for a spinal cord stimulator trial and I’d have to say Dr Badiyan explained the procedure and allayed my fears much better. Dr Badiyan always takes time to listen and help me make sense of what is going on with my back and hip/SI joint. I never feel rushed, I never feel like Im asking too many questions or offering too much information; he listens patiently and discusses my choices and what would work best for me given my various issues. He ultimately allows me to decide after he has presented the facts, and he has medical knowledge and understanding far beyond his field of expertise. I was having acute back and neck spasms and it felt like I was on fire. I had both hands tingling also. Dr. Badiyan was kind enough to see me in 10 minutes if I could make it. I am 5 minutes away. When I told him about a major dental surgery I was having he told me to make sure they were using a MD Anesthesiologist & Oral Surgeon (because with my issues things could go south with someone less educated) They WERE using an Anesthesiologist and it’s a good thing too because the procedure took twice as long as expected and without my wonderful Oral Surgeon & that Anesthesiologist on board I could have wound up in the hospital or worse, dead!! In my opinion, Dr Badiyan is one of the best doctors in his profession and you would be lucky to have him overseeing your healthcare.
