My experience at the McQuaid Vein Care center was incredible. I had a very severe case of varicose veins that had built up over 20 years. I had to have 8 treatments (4 on each leg) over the course of 2 months and you can imagine the fear I had prior to seeing them. As a new patient, Dr. McQuaid and his staff carefully examined my case and provided me with individual quality care and made this nightmare a breeze. Mia at the front desk was so efficient, organized and kind to me every visit! I love this center and can recommend it to anyone who has concerns with varicose veins and/or other vein concerns. After 2 months I already feel as good as new! The procedure and follow ups were quick and easy! I am walking and back on my feet and beginning to exercise again. I am so grateful to the team and everyone who helped me feel as good as new! Thank you Dr. McQuaid for going above and beyond - your generosity and quality care!

I am only half way done with my treatment and felt I needed to write a review. I completed treatment on my right leg yesterday and will have the left leg treated next week. I had a TERRIBLE experience at another vein clinic so I was VERY nervous and apprehensive about even starting treatment. Dr. McQuaid is extremely pleasant, thorough, and answered all my questions. His staff is so amazing!! All the girls are so sweet and take their time answering questions and are reassuring during all follow up appointments. They offer sedation options to help with nerves, which Im thankful for. Jennifer has assisted the Dr during both procedures and she is so awesome! Both Dr. McQuaid and Jennifer explained everything they were doing the whole time. I would highly recommend anyone to this office for their vein care.

There was another reviewer that commented that all they are interested at this office is to up sale to more expensive procedures. I totally concur with that assessment. I did however finally received confirmation that they were filling my prescription. I had contact them through the patient portal which I guess is probably not the fastest and most reliable way of communicating with them. They apologized and said something that it had been down on their end. So for now I am raising their score.Second year now, going back to have more work done. The medical staff are great, doctor does good work. My complaint is with the billing people. My copay is $30 for office visit, they wanted to charge me that and $60 for an ultra-sound. Because they wish to classify themselves as a surgical unit, they could do that. They took my $60 and then file the claim and procedure as an office visit instead. My total cost should be $30, not $91. They did the same thing last year to me and I caught it, so when I go back again, I will insist they credit the $60 to my office visits. So, when dealing with them, keep an eye on their billing, they keep trying to sneak in extra costs that you should not be paying for.

I had an excellent experience and happy with the results. Dr. McQuaid and the staff at the Frisco office a fantastic. I would recommend using them 100%.

Ive had more than 15 procedures here over the past two years, due to chronic venous disease. I had very unsightly and painful varicose veins and spider veins. I now have greatly improved veins in both of my legs, and they look and feel so much better. I have never had a bad, or even mediocre experience with Dr. McQuaid and his wonderful staff. From the very beginning, Dr. McQuaid educated me about all things vein related, and laid out a very workable plan. He and all of his assistants are so professional, yet friendly and eager to answer questions. They strive to make the patient comfortable and to achieve the best results. I could not be more pleased with the results and only wish I had done it sooner!

I had the veins in my legs treated two years ago by Dr. McQuaid. I found him and the staff to be very pleasant and professional. I returned last week for some touch up sclerotherapy, which was administered by Jennifer. She did a fabulous job and is great with a needle!

Update:After my initial feedback, this office has worked to fix these issues and has corrected and sent my pathology report. They were responsive and proactively tried to understand the issues and called me back to let me know how they plan on fixing the issues. Thanks to Maggie for her patient interaction and handling things very well.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Initial Feedback:I had an initial consultation for lipomas and after being told what needs to be done to remove them, I called and asked some of the basic questions about the procedure and insurance coverage, etc. The lady I spoke to didnt know the answers and said she will call me back. She didnt call for weeks after which I called again. She still hadnt found the answers and gave the same response that shell find out and call me back. She of course didnt call me back. This happened a couple more times and then Maggie called me and gave the responses. Maggie was the only person that gave me confidence that I can still use this service.The doctors work was good. The procedure went smoothly and recovery was fine.Upon request, they sent me the pathology report. The report has so many mentions of the procedure done on my right arm, while all the procedures were done on my left hand. I have never had any service provide erroneous report at such a basic level that I wanted to write this feedback. And of course the report has my name wrongly spelled.

Dr mcquaid was extremely competent as was his staff. I got in right away and the procedure was done very quickly and painlessly.

Dr. McQuaid seems pretty knowledgeable about his craft but this place makes you feel like just another stat and insurance check. The staff is nice but make no mistake, they are in it for the money! I went in for a bleeding varicose vein. Theyve had me in twice now, sonograms both times and hundreds of dollars later without any treatment to fix my problem. The drs only treatment recomendation is to tell me to loose weight so I can get a $5k/leg varicose vein treatment. I dont care about astetics, just want to stop the bleeding. I wont be going back.

I did not have a very good experience here and a HUGE waste of time. I have spider veins in various areas of my legs that I have had treated for in the past with success with sclerotherapy. I had informed the receptionist that I was interested in this procedure due to the inexpensive nature and was not interested in spending thousands on other procedures. At time of appointment, I again spoke with ultrasound tech that due to financial reasons, I am only interested in sclerotherapy. Doc still wanted to have ultrasound so did ultrasound. The entire time, I felt like they were trying to upset me into a more expensive procedure. Ive had sclerotherapy twice each only 1 visit with amazing results. I have no symptoms and was purely interested in improving the aesthetic of my legs. This place seems money hungry and the entire visit felt like a ploy. They did not respect my wishes and was a complete waste of time. Beware!!!! They are only looking to eat up insurance money.

Doctors work was flawless, but office staff not overly friendly and billing statements and amounts owed are confusing.Also, do not sign any waivers on billing unless you know exactly what youre signing. Otherwise, you may end up paying for charges that are not billed, but for which they say you owe.

Everything was explained clearly to me and the entire staff was very professional.I am still in the middle of my treatment, but my first experience was an excellent one.

Everyone is professional, the care is excellent and the staff along with Doctor McQuaid is excellent.
